Abstract

This study aimed to develop and assess an inclusive learning module designed to enhance the language development of children with special educational needs (CSEN) in an early childhood education setting. The module, grounded in Kurikulum Merdeka principles, was specifically tailored to address the language acquisition challenges faced by children with special needs. A Research and Development (R&D) approach, following the 4D model, was employed for module development, involving expert validation, teacher and parent feedback, and pilot testing. The results indicated significant improvements in vocabulary and sentence construction among all children involved in the study. Teachers and parents reported high satisfaction with the module’s usability and its effectiveness in supporting language development, confirming the importance of personalized educational resources. The study demonstrates the value of a structured, child-centered approach in fostering language skills in CSEN, particularly in inclusive early childhood education settings. The findings suggest that this module could serve as a model for other schools, but future research with a larger sample size and longer implementation period is needed to explore the long-term impact and applicability of such educational tools.

Abstract

This community service activity raises the theme of introducing learning videos that have been developed using the powtoon application so that it displays better audio and visuals as teaching materials for children. This application can be used to make videos, create animations using quite complete features, templates, audio, and interesting images so that it is very suitable for use in developing learning media, especially at the Kindergarten age level. This training specifically provides assistance on 1) introduction to application-based learning media, 2) skills training using technology-based learning media, 3) skills training in developing application-based learning media, 4) learning practices using application-based media. The target output of this study is the existence of simple learning media in video format developed using the powtoon application/software with a duration of no more than 10 minutes. The theme used in the video is adjusted to the learning theme in the curriculum in Kindergarten in general so that the output can later be used by each educational unit in the learning process

Abstract

The Influence Of The Application Of The Show And Tell Learning Method On The Expressive Language Skills Of Children Aged 5-6 Years. This study examines the urgency of developing aspects of language in early childhood, especially expressive language skills through the application of the show and tell learning method in children aged 5-6 years. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the application of the show and tell learning method on the expressive language skills of children aged 5-6 years at Kemala Bhayangkari 07 Gowa Kindergarten. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental type of research. The design used is a non-equivalent control group design. The data collection techniques used are observation, documentation, and also tests. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling consisting of 14 children in the experimental group and 14 children in the experimental group. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and non-parametric analysis using the Wilcoxon Sign-Rank Test. Based on the results of the data analysis conducted, Asymp. (2-tailed) = 0.001 <0.05 was obtained, so H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected. there is a significant effect of the application of the show and tell learning method on the expressive language skills of children aged 5-6 years at Kemala Bhayangkari 07 Kindergarten.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Bermain Sensori Motor Untuk Meningkatkan Konsentrasi Belajar Anak. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian Quasi Eksperiment Desain. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 26 orang anak. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 16 anak dengan pembagian 8 anak sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 8 anak sebagai kelompok kontrol. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis non parametrik. keterampilan motorik halus anak untuk kelompok eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa sebesar 0,011 dan nilai sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0,010 < 0,05 jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan keterampilan motorik anak pada kelompok eksperimen sebelum dan setelah diberikan perlakuan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Bermain Sensori Motor Untuk Meningkatkan Konsentrasi Belajar Anak pada kelompok eksperimen lebih baik dari kelompok kontrol. Jadi, dapat disimpilkan bahwa berimain bola sedang memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan Bermain Sensori Motor Untuk Meningkatkan Konsntrasi Belajar Anak di Kelompok B di TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Karuru.

Abstract

Fine motor skills are an important aspect in early childhood development, but are often not optimal due to limited interesting and effective learning methods. This study aims to analyze the effect of ecoprint activity-based learning media methods on fine motor skills in early children. The research method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design using two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group with a sample size of 20 children. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test which is a non-parametric statistical test. The results showed a significant increase in children's fine motor skills in the experimental group compared to the control group. In the experimental group, 60% reached the category of "very well developed" on the indicators of eye-hand coordination, movement accuracy, and self-expression. Ecoprinting activities involving natural materials such as leaves and flowers have been proven effective in training children's fine motor skills through a fun creative process. Therefore, this method is recommended for early childhood learning to improve children's fine motor skills, creativity, and environmental awareness

Abstract

Seminar on "Bringing Happiness into the Home: Practicing Joyfulness in Daily Life" was organized to provide participants, especially parents, with an understanding and practical skills to create a joyful atmosphere at home through the principles of joyfulness. This seminar aimed to equip participants with insights into the importance of happiness within the family and practical ways to strengthen relationships among family members. The methods used in this seminar included lectures, interactive discussions, practical exercises, and role-playing, designed to give participants direct experience in understanding and practicing the concept of joyfulness. The seminar results showed that 90% of participants had a good understanding of the importance of joyfulness and were ready to implement its principles in their lives. However, the main challenge faced was maintaining consistency in applying positive habits in daily life, especially amidst busy schedules and routines. This seminar also emphasized the importance of effective communication within the family and collaboration between parents and educators in creating an environment that supports family happiness. Overall, the seminar successfully provided a positive impact on participants by enhancing their understanding and skills in fostering happiness at home. With continuous commitment and the application of positive habits, participants are expected to build a harmonious, happy, and loving family.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media Serial Image berbasis Augmented Reality terhadap kemampuan bercerita anak usia 5–6 tahun di TK Khalifah Makassar 3. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis eksperimen, serta desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Variabel bebas adalah Media Serial Image berbasis Augmented Reality, dan variabel terikatnya adalah kemampuan bercerita anak. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 30 anak, dengan teknik sampel jenuh, sehingga seluruh anak dijadikan sampel, yaitu 15 anak pada kelompok eksperimen dan 15 anak pada kelompok kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Prosedur pengumpulan data meliputi perencanaan, pretest, treatment, post-test, dan analisis hasil. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil data yang diperoleh mengidikasikan adanya peningkatan dalam skor pretest dan posttest. Rata-rata skor pretest sebesar 11,00 sedangan setelah diberi perlakuan nilainya sebesar 19,33. Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa nilai Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0.001<0.05, sehigga hipotesis alternatif (H1) dapat diterima, sedangkan hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak. Temuan ini memperkuat bahwa penggunaaan media Serial Image berbasis Augmented Reality berkontribusi pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Khalifah Makassar 3 dalam peningkatan kemampuan bercerita.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran salt tray terhadap kemampuan pra menulis anak usia 4-5 tahun di Taman Kanak-kanak Pertiwi Kota Makassar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain eksperimen kuasi dengan model Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari 38 anak, dengan sampel sebanyak 20 anak yang dibagi ke dalam dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan observasi dan tes, serta dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji statistik deskriptif dan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah pemberian perlakuan berupa penggunaan media salt tray, seluruh peserta mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan pra menulis. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan 10 ranks positif dan jumlah ranks sebesar 55,00, yang menunjukkan perbaikan hasil belajar yang konsisten. Dalam penelitian ini, media pembelajaran salt tray dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pra menulis pada anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Pertiwi Kota Makassar.

Abstract

This study explores the use of outdoor-based Snakes and Ladders as an alternative medium for stimulating and shaping the behavior of hyperactive children. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the research was conducted with the following subject criteria: (1) children enrolled at ABA II Quranic School Palopo; (2) aged 5–6 years; (3) residing with their parents; and (4) consistently exhibiting symptoms of hyperactivity. Supporting informants included classroom teachers and parents. Data collection techniques utilized source triangulation—comparing data from observations, interviews, and documentation—and member checking, wherein findings were confirmed with participants. The data analysis procedure involved four stages: (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) data display, and (4) conclusion drawing and verification. The findings indicate that the outdoor-based Snakes and Ladders game is an effective behavioral stimulation tool for hyperactive children. The game offers opportunities for physical movement, incorporates structured rules, and fosters an enjoyable learning environment, thereby meeting the developmental needs of children with high activity levels and emerging self-regulation skills. Participation in the game facilitated the development of behavioral competencies, including turn-taking, rule compliance, and impulse control. Additionally, the game supported enhancing social skills such as cooperation, communication, and empathy. The outdoor setting further contributed to these outcomes by providing open space, fresh air, and a relaxed yet engaging atmosphere. The novelty of this research lies in its adaptation of a traditional game into a developmentally appropriate tool for physical and behavioral stimulation that is both flexible and easily implemented.

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa bimbingan teknis (bimtek) yang bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas guru PAUD dalam menerapkan strategi pendidikan yang efektif dan kontekstual, serta mendorong keterlibatan orang tua sebagai mitra aktif dalam mendidik anak di sekolah. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kesenjangan antara metode pembelajaran konvensional yang masih dominan dan kebutuhan akan pembelajaran yang lebih adaptif dan inklusif. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan terdiri dari empat tahapan utama: sosialisasi dan diskusi terbuka, pelatihan metode pengajaran aktif, simulasi kelas, serta evaluasi dan refleksi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam satu hari dengan pendekatan partisipatif dan berorientasi pada praktik langsung di lapangan. Peserta bimtek terdiri dari guru PAUD dan utusan oramg tua anak di Kota Makassar. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kompetensi guru, terutama dalam perencanaan pembelajaran tematik dan pengelolaan kelas berbasis pendekatan aktif. Selain itu, keterlibatan orang tua dalam proses pendidikan anak meningkat melalui pembentukan komunikasi digital dan kolaborasi rutin. Lingkungan belajar menjadi lebih inklusif dan mendukung, dengan inisiatif tindak lanjut dari sekolah seperti pembentukan komunitas belajar guru. Dampak awal terhadap siswa juga teridentifikasi, berupa peningkatan keaktifan dan motivasi belajar. Kontribusi kegiatan ini terhadap ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi (IPTEK) terletak pada penerapan strategi pendidikan yang terintegrasi antara guru dan orang tua, yang berfokus pada pembelajaran aktif, karakter, dan inklusi. Pendekatan ini memperkaya praktik pendidikan di tingkat dasar, serta menjadi model bagi pengembangan program pelatihan guru yang kontekstual dan kolaboratif ke depannya.
