Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Pop Up Book Media in science learning. This study is a qualitative research in the form of literature studies. The articles reviewed in this study are articles sourced from accredited journals of at least SINTA 4 published in 2023,2022,2021,2020, and 2019. There are 40 articles collected, but only 20 articles are considered relevant to the focus of this study. 20 this article and all articles related to media Pop up Book on learning science or science content. In this study it was found that the use of Creative Learning media such as Pop Up Book media has a positive impact on the learning process. Pop Up Book Media can improve learning outcomes and can train high-level thinking skills in learners. In addition, it was also found that Pop-Up Book media can provide cognitive reinforcement and increase learner motivation. In certain cases it was found that Pop Up Book media can help improve the understanding of students who have limitations related to science content. In this study it was also found that Pop up Book Learning media can be used in various learning models and can support the scientific literacy of learners.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the types of plant species found in the FMIPA UNM environment which can be used as learning resources in higher plant botany courses. This research was carried out in the FMIPA UNM environment from August to October 2023. Exploration and documentation of plants was carried out from September to October 2023. The target of this research was higher plant species including angiosperms and gymnosperms found in the FMIPA UNM environment. This research uses descriptive analytical methods. The data collection technique was carried out exploratively. The results of the research show that there are more than ninety-seven plant species found in the FMIPA UNM environment originating from fifty-five families originating from the plant groups angiosperms (closed seed plants) and gymnosperms (open seed plants), where these plants can used as a learning resource in higher plant botany courses. Abstract

The background of this research is to identify plants in the surrounding environment that can be utilized as a biological learning resource, specifically Bougainvillea spectabilis or locally known as bougainvillea. Information about the anatomy of plant organs, plant morphology, posture and habitus, up to the roles and benefits of this plant can be used as a source for biology learning. The research method employed is a qualitative type utilizing descriptive analysis techniques with a literature review. Data sources were obtained from journal articles and books discussing the Bougainvillea spectabilis plant. The data collection technique involved three stages: a. Collecting journal articles and books that examine and discuss the Bougainvillea spectabilis plant, b. Organizing information and data obtained through a predetermined framework, c. Further analyzing the organized data using established principles, theories, and methods until the research objectives were achieved. The results of the study indicate that the Bougainvillea spectabilis plant can be used as a biological learning resource for basic biology courses, plant anatomy, plant morphology, higher plant botany, and plant physiology courses.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the innovations in biology learning media that have been discovered and developed in the last 10 years. The research method used is a literature review method, utilizing secondary data from articles in national and international journals published between 2014 and 2024. Based on the research results, information was obtained regarding the biology learning media that have been used and developed over the past decade. These innovations in biology learning media include 32 types of innovations, consisting of 30 technology-based learning media and 2 non-technology learning media. The findings of this study are expected to serve as a reference for educators in using and developing biology learning media that align with the biology material or sub-topics.
