Abstract

This study aims to explore the relationship through the correlation test between soft skills and career efficacy of students with disabilities in Makassar City. This study uses a type of quantitative research with a correlational design. The participants of this study involved 50 students with disabilities spread across four universities in Makassar City (Makassar State University, Hasanuddin University, Muslim Indonesia University, Muhammadiyah Makassar University). Data collection techniques were carried out using psychological scale instruments, namely the soft skills scale of 20 statement items using a Likert scale range of 1-5 and a career efficacy scale of 32 statement items using a Likert scale range of 1-5. The instrument was first tested for content validity by experts and item validity using the Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) test. This research sample technique uses purposive sampling by determining sample criteria. The results showed the results of descriptive and correlation tests that there was a relationship or correlation between soft skills variables and career confidence variables in other words, the more soft skills increase, the career confidence in Makassar City disability students.

Abstract

Abstrak. Masyrakat Lanjut Usia (Lansia) merupakan salah satu kelompok yang rentan mengalami kejahatan digital. Fenomena kejahatan digital yang mereka alami juga cukup bervariasi. Mulai dari paparan hoaks dalam bidang kesehatan hingga penipuan bermotif perbankan yang dilakukan melalui panggilan seluler. Berdasarkan fenomena tersebut, kebutuhan edukasi terhadap lansia tentang literasi digital mutlak untuk dilakukan. Edukasi yang diperlukan tidak dalam bentuk individual, melainkan melalui komunitas-komunitas dimana mereka biasanya aktif. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan yang komperhensif, mulai dari pelatihan literasi digital, pendampingan dan bimbingan teknis terkait hoaks dan informasi, penggunaan aplikasi periksa fakta, cara menjaga data pribadi ketika menggunakan aplikasi digital dan bimbingan teknis untuk mengecek data pribadi yang dimiliki lansia. Dari pelaksanaan program ini diperoleh hasil post-test yakni banyaknya peserta yang kini lebih cepat mengenali hoaks dan cenderung melakukan verifikasi sebelum membagikannya. Mereka juga memahami pentingnya melaporkan hoaks kepada pihak yang berwenang atau platform media sosial untuk mencegah penyebaran lebih lanjut. Kata Kunci : Lansia, Literas Digital, Komunikasi, Internet, Makassar

Abstract

This development research aims to: (1) Identify the need for documentary films at SMA Negeri 10 Bulukumb. (2) Designing a documentary film at SMA Negeri 10 Bulukumba. (3) What is the level of validity & practicality of documentary films at SMA Negeri 10 Bulukumba. This research uses the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development method. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 10 Bulukumba with a total of 30 students and 1 subject teacher as research subjects. The product trial was designed to consist of an alpha test carried out by 2 experts, namely a media expert who obtained an average score of very good qualifications and a content/material expert who obtained an average score of very good qualifications so that the documentary film could be tested in the field. To find out the practicality and beta test which was carried out through a small group test, the average score was found to be in the practical qualifications, while the large group test obtained an average of very practical qualifications and the results of the subject teachers' responses were in the very practical qualifications. This means that it can be stated that the Kajang Tribe documentary film as a medium for learning local wisdom is very practical to use in the learning process, especially local wisdom. This development research has resulted in a documentary film product that is suitable for use in the learning process at SMA Negeri 10 Bulukumba.

A number of elderly people face difficulties in adopting and utilizing digital technology. Furthermore, they becomes victims of digital crime. The Elderly Digital Academy (Akademi Digital Lansia/ADL) from the Tular Nalar Program held by the Indonesian Anti-Slander Society (Mafindo) is one of the educational classes to deal with this phenomenon. With a phenomenological approach through qualitative descriptive methods, researchers conducted in-depth interviews with several Aisyiyah rmember in Jambi to explore their experiences in dealing with this phenomenon and also their experiences attending the ADL class. This study found that the materials and approaches implemented in the ADL training not only improved the digital literacy of the elderly. More than that, it was able to increase the capacity of its facilitators..

Abstract

The digitalization of modern society requires older generations to adapt to internet-based communication, but age-related limitations often hinder this transition. This study explores the proficiency of elderly participants in using chat applications through the Senior Digital Academy (ADL) program by Tular Nalar Mafindo. Using a descriptive qualitative method, surveys and in-depth interviews were conducted with 61 senior participants. Findings show that while seniors understand basic chat application features and their potential negative impacts, they face challenges like digital literacy gaps, technological anxiety, and physical limitations. Many struggle with advanced features such as multimedia sharing, privacy settings, and group management. Vision impairments, reduced motor skills, and cognitive decline further complicate their use of digital tools. Despite these obstacles, participants express a strong willingness to learn and recognize the importance of staying connected through digital platforms. The study emphasizes the need for tailored digital literacy programs to address the specific needs of older adults, enabling them to navigate the digital world more effectively. Empowering seniors through digital literacy not only fosters social connectivity and independence but also mitigates risks like misinformation, hate speech, and fraud, ensuring their inclusion and safety in an increasingly online society.

Abstract

Online classes are a training approach that utilizes technology to increase training effectiveness, flexibility and interactiveness, at formal and non-formal education levels. This article explored communication skills in optimizing the Tular Nalar Training of Trainers (ToT) digital class. In the context of ToT, the Tular Nalar online class allowed prospective facilitators to participate directly via virtual space, the material could be accessed at any time and was equipped with interaction via WhatsApp groups. The Tular Nalar ToT program aimed to produce Sekolah Kebangsaan Facilitators and Akademi Digital Lansia, which was held in 38 provinces in Indonesia. January 2025 noted that ToT involved 3,481 participants who took part in online training to become facilitators who would deliver material about the Tular Nalar Program. This article used a qualitative descriptive approach in two cities, Makassar and Kendari, especially in the implementation of Akademi Digital Lansia. The in-depth interviews and observations in this article provided an analysis and description of the communication challenges of trainers and potential facilitators during ToT in online classes. Technological barriers, materials provided, and interactions required to ensure that facilitators were competent in delivering Akademi Digital Lansia materials.  Prospective facilitators also face time differences during ToT, lack of interaction, limited discussion space, and material that was not fully understood. Interestingly, with these various limitations, these problems could be overcome with open interaction and good communication between trainers via WhatsApp, both individually and in groups. This showed that every facilitator and trainer needed to develop communication skills, local context, and technological support to become a good facilitator in implementing Akademi Digital Lansia Program.

Abstract

As the communication space and public services shift to the digital world, elderly need to be able to use digital devices safely and comfortably. Elderly, as users of digital platforms, require special attention, mainly due to the widespread dissemination of online information. Assistance for older people is crucial so that they can communicate and interact comfortably in the digital world. One of these efforts is realised through the Elderly Digital Academy program from Tular Nalar, which was then developed by the Indonesian Elderly Institute (LLI) in Makassar as a mentoring and training program. This study assisted 32 elderly individuals in addressing issues such as hoaxes, online fraud, and digital transactions. The goal is to empower elderly to become active internet users who can create and disseminate fact- based educational content. Although the elderly face challenges such as fake news and hate speech, they still have the spirit to learn and contribute. Digital literacy for elderly is not just about disseminating information, but also creating collaborative spaces and encouraging active participation in digital communities.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengidentifikasi tingkat kebutuhan siswa terhadap komik digital sebagai media pembelajaran sistem reproduksi manusia kelas IX SMP Negeri 13 Makassar yang dikembangkan, (2) mendesain komik digital sebagai media pembelajaran sistem reproduksi manusia kelas IX SMP Negeri 13 Makassar, dan (3) mengukur tingkat validitas dan kepraktisan komik digital sebagai media pembelajaran sistem reproduksi manusia kelas IX SMP Negeri 13 Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan atau research and development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model 4D yang di modifikasi menjadi 3D (define, design, development). Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah validator yang terdiri dari ahli media dan ahli materi/isi, siswa kelas IX yang mempelajari Sistem Reproduksi Manusia dan guru mata pelajaran IPA. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah identifikasi tingkat kebutuhan siswa berada pada kualifikasi sangat dibutuhkan, hasil validasi ahli media berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik, hasil validasi ahli materi/isi berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik. Pada tahap uji coba kelompok kecil dan uji kelompok besar mendapatkan masing-masing hasil kualifikasi baik dan sangat baik dan hasil tanggapan guru mata pelajaran IPA berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini tingkat analisis kebutuhan produk Komik Digital berada pada kualifikasi dibutuhkan serta produk Komik digital ini sudah valid dan praktis. ABSTRACT This study aims to: (1) identify the level of students' need for digital comics as a learning medium for the human reproductive system for class IX at SMP Negeri 13 Makassar which was developed, (2) to design digital comics as a learning medium for the human reproductive system for class IX at SMP Negeri 13 Makassar, and (3) measuring the level of validity and practicality of digital comics as a medium for learning the human reproductive system for class IX at SMP Negeri 13 Makassar. This type of research is research and development (R&D) using a 4D model modified to 3D (define, design, development). The subjects of this study were validators consisting of media experts and material/content experts, class IX students studying the Human Reproductive System and science subject teachers. The results of this study are the identification of the level of student needs in the qualifications much needed, the results of the validation by media experts are in very good qualifications, the results of validation by material/content experts are in very good qualifications. In the small group trial and large group trials, the respective results obtained good and very good qualifications and the results of the responses of the science subject teachers were in very good qualifications. The conclusion from the results of this study is that the level of needs analysis for Digital Comic products is at the required qualifications and this digital Comic product is valid and practical.

Abstract

Abstrak. Perkembangan teknologi digital dengan hadirnya kecerdasan buatan (AI) membawa perubahan signifikan dalam pembelajaran. AI tidak hanya menawarkan kemudahan dalam menciptakan media pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif, tetapi juga mendorong munculnya inovasi dalam cara guru menyampaikan materi. Di Indonesia, arah kebijakan pendidikan semakin menegaskan pentingnya penguasaan AI. Mulai tahun ajaran 2025/2026, mata pelajaran kecerdasan buatan dan coding akan masuk ke dalam kurikulum sekolah sebagai mata pelajaran pilihan, dengan implementasi bertahap sejak kelas 5 SD hingga SMA. Perubahan ini menunjukkan bahwa literasi digital dan pemanfaatan AI bukan lagi sekadar tambahan, melainkan kebutuhan yang harus dipenuhi oleh pendidik maupun peserta didik. Pelaksanaan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini berfokus pada pelatihan pemanfaatan media digital berbasis AI bagi guru di SMA Negeri 4 Gowa. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan PKM ini yakni untuk membekali guru dengan keterampilan praktis dalam menggunakan aplikasi AI yang mampu mendukung pembelajaran. Aplikasi AI yang diajarkan meliputi aplikasi pembuat video dan visualisasi konten pembelajaran sehingga mampu membekali guru untuk menghadirkan pengalaman belajar yang lebih kreatif, menarik, dan bermakna. Metode yang digunakan dalam PKM ini meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan materi pelatihan, pelatihan berbasis praktik, pendampingan intensif, serta evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya antusiasme dan peningkatan literasi digital guru serta keterampilan dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis AI.Kata kunci: kecerdasan buatan, pelatihan, video pembelajaran, literasi digital, konten pembelajaran.
