Abstract

Students have smartphones and are able to use every application they have on their smartphones such as communication applications, online games, social media and the like. The aim of this research is to measure the digital abilities or skills possessed by students and how students use them, to show an overview of the implementation of the learning process involving students' digital abilities or skills in Indonesian language subjects and to find out whether there is an influence on the digital skills of students at SMP Negeri 1 Batang Jeneponto Regency on student learning outcomes in Indonesian language subjects. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach with a type of research that used a quasi-experimental type with a method that only used one treatment group and did not use a control group. The sample from this research was 25 students from class VIII. The instruments in this research use questionnaires, tests (assignments) and documentation as support for this research. The questionnaire consists of a pretest given before the learning process is carried out and a posttest given after the learning process is carried out, while the test consists of tasks containing news text and poetry text material. Data analysis uses descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis with hypothesis testing using the t-test. Based on the results of data analysis and t-test, the average value of students' abilities and learning outcomes after the implementation of the learning process involving students' digital skills was higher than before the implementation of the learning process involving students' digital skills. All students involve digital skills by using several methods of using search engines and social media in completing assignments with news text and story text material. The results of this research show that there is an influence on the digital skills of students at SMP Negeri 1 Batang Jeneponto Regency on student learning outcomes in Indonesian language subjects.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that students' understanding of sex education and protecting themselves is still very lacking due to teachers who only teach parts of the body without linking to self-protection, this will have an impact if students know this by themselves or self-taught without direction and without being accompanied by teachers or parents through their smartphones. The objectives in this study are 1) Analyse the needs of Digital Comic products for elementary school students; 2) Knowing the level of validation of Digital Comic products; 3) Knowing the practicality of Digital Comic products. This research was conducted using the approach and type of Research and Development (R&D) research using the ADDIE development model. The subjects of this study were 30 students and one homeroom teacher. The results of this study indicate that 1) Identification of the level of need for the development of Digital Comics is in the qualification needed; 2) The results of testing the validity of digital comics by content/material experts are in very valid qualifications and the results of validation by design/media experts are in very valid qualifications; 3) The results of practicality testing conducted by one homeroom teacher IV-A are in very practical qualifications and trials on elementary school students in class IV-A consisting of 30 students obtained results that were in very practical qualifications. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the Digital Sex Education Comic is very valid and practical to use in the learning process.

Abstract

Merdeka belajar merupakan konsep belajar yang dilakukan sendiri oleh peserta didik. Guru sebagai pendidik memiliki keleluasaan untuk memodifikasi modul ajar yang disesuaikan dengan karakteristik dan kebutuhan peserta didik. Melalui modul proyek penguatan profil pancasila, guru dalam mempedomani materi ajar yang menjadi acuan yang harus disampaikan dalam pembelajaran agar tujuan dapat tercapai dengan tepat. Siswa juga dalam belajar secara mandiri serta dapat lebih fokus terkait materi dan capaian pembelajaran yang diharapkan dalam satu pokok pembahasan tertentu. Tujuan bimbingan teknis pengembangan modul proyek penguatan profil pancasila untuk guru SMPN di kabupaten jeneponto ini adalah: 1) Memberi pemahaman ke pada guru bagaimana pengembangan Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) 2) Membimbing Pengembangan Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) melalui: penyiapan ekosistem sekolah, mendesain projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila, mengelola projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila, mengolah asesmen dan melaporkan hasil projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila, dan mendesain evaluasi dan tindak lanjut projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila.Pelaksanaan PKM ini dilaksanakan di Ruang Aula Siswa Kantor Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebuadayan jeneponto. Peserta kegiatan sangat terbantu dengan adanya kegiatan ini karena peserta mendapatkan tambahan pengetahuan yang berkaitan dengan pengembangan modul proyek penguatan profil pancasila.

Abstract

Mitra pada kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah SD Negeri Centre Malino Kecamatan Tinggimoncong Kabupaten Gowa. Kegiatan workshop pembuatan presentasi dan evaluasi pembelajaran interaktif untuk jenjang sekolah dasar dilaksanakan berdasarkan adanya permasalahan: (1) penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka mengharuskan guru untuk lebih kreatif dan inovatif dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran; (2) kebutuhan akan media pembelajaran yang variatif; dan (3) guru dituntut untuk mengembangkan proses pembelajaran yang mendukung prinsip pembelajaran berdiferensiasi sehingga mampu mengoptimalkan potensi siswa. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini yakni guru-guru di SDN Centre Malino dapat membuat presentasi dan evaluasi pembelajaran interaktif serta menerapkannya untuk mendukung pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini berupa presentasi, diskusi, dan praktik mandiri. Strategi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dapat dilaksanakan melalui 3 hal, yakni diferensiasi konten, proses, serta produk. Media presentasi dan evaluasi pembelajaran interaktif dapat digunakan untuk mendukung diferensiasi proses. Diferensiasi proses menekankan pada variasi proses pembelajaran, misalnya menggunakan media presentasi yang komunikatif diikuti dengan penggunaan elemen-elemen multimedia. Evaluasi interaktif dapat dikembangkan menggunakan berbagai aplikasi, seperti wordwall dan quizizz yang memiliki fitur untuk membuat kuis-kuis interaktif dalam berbagai format. Evaluasi interaktif memungkinkan siswa dapat menilai pemahaman mereka serta mendapatkan feedback secara personal. Diferensiasi yang menekankan pada perbedaan preferensi siswa (gaya belajar, minat, dll) perlu didukung dengan ketersediaan media pembelajaran, misalnya dalam format media presentasi dan kuis interaktif yang mampu memberikan variasi pengalaman belajar bagi masing-masing siswa.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a digital module for Digital Literacy for children and young people who were KPop fans in Makassar, to prevent cyberbullying. Data showed that that K-Pop fans consisting of children and teenagers in Indonesia were one of the largest Internet users in the world. The high use of the internet was also directly proportional to the cyberbullying that occured to them, not only as victims but also as perpetrators. This was the reason, why this study was important to investigate even though many researches on digital literacy had been carried out, but not many had been found specifically targeting KPop fans, while they were active internet users. This study was development research referring to the 4-D model (Four) that proposed by S. Thiagarajan and Semmel (1974), which consisted of 4 stages of development, namely the stage of defining (Define), Design , Development (Develop), and dissemination (Disseminate), then reduced to a 3-D model which only consisted of 3 stages of development, namely the stage of defining (Define), Design, Development (Develop). The results produced a Digital Literacy Module, which emphasized content on digital skills, consisting of Devices used, Search Engines, social media applications and online conversations and shopping, all of which were adapted to the characteristics of KPop Fans.

Abstract

The study aims to develop a digital module for English subjects in elementary schools. The development follows the flow of the ADDIE model. The study subjects were 2 validators and 9 students during the small group trial and 31 during the large group trial. Data collection used a needs identification questionnaire, a validation questionnaire for material experts and design experts, a small group trial questionnaire, and a test. Data were calculated by calculating scores and percentages for validity and student responses, while the effectiveness test used the Wilcoxn and n-gain tests. The study results found that identifying student needs was in the required qualifications. The results of the validity level of the digital module from the assessment of the material expert validator were 89% and the media/design expert 94% (very valid). The results at the level of practicality obtained from the analysis of the small group response questionnaire were 97 (very practical). Furthermore, the level of effectiveness of the digital module was 0.8 (high), with significant test results showing a significant difference before and after learning. It was concluded that the product can be used in the classroom learning process to teach students English.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the learning resources in the form of digital art and culture books are valid, practical, and effective in improving student learning outcomes. The ADDIE model was used to develop digital books. The study was conducted on grade VII students at a junior high school in Bone. The books that were developed were validated by experts and the media. Trials on 3 students and 9 students to see the practicality of digital books. Meanwhile, 26 students were involved in learning for effectiveness testing. The development results showed that digital books were valid (80.00%) based on material validators and very valid (88.23%) based on media experts. Individual responses from three students showed practical books, followed by findings in the responses of 9 students and 1 teacher (percentage range 88-95). The effectiveness test results showed that the average before digital books was 60 with a "low" category, and the average value obtained after using digital books was 90 with a "high" category. Wilcoxon testing indicates that digital books effectively improve student learning outcomes (sig. < 0.05). It can be concluded that using digital books in arts and culture subjects has proven valid, practical, and effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is a development research (R&D) using the Rowntree model, which aims to produce digital safety e-modules for digital literacy study program students of FIP UNM. Educational Technology Study Program. The research method used is the research and development method using the Rowntree model. Data collection techniques include questionnaires, observations, assessment questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used qualitative descriptive analysis techniques and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of expert validation show that the Digital Safety e-Module that has been developed has obtained valid criteria with a percentage of 100% in the content aspect, a rate of 100% in the language aspect, and a percentage of 98% in the media design aspect. The practicality test of the product is seen from the average score of the questionnaire at the one-to-one evaluation stage and the field trial stage. The average assessment score was 95% at the one-to-one evaluation stage, with a very practical category. The average assessment score at the field trial stage was 92.5%, with a very practical category. Thus, the Digital Safety e-Module product for Digital Literacy Study Program Students, Department of Educational Technology FIP UNM, has been developed with validity and practicality.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the relationship through the correlation test between soft skills and career efficacy of students with disabilities in Makassar City. This study uses a type of quantitative research with a correlational design. The participants of this study involved 50 students with disabilities spread across four universities in Makassar City (Makassar State University, Hasanuddin University, Muslim Indonesia University, Muhammadiyah Makassar University). Data collection techniques were carried out using psychological scale instruments, namely the soft skills scale of 20 statement items using a Likert scale range of 1-5 and a career efficacy scale of 32 statement items using a Likert scale range of 1-5. The instrument was first tested for content validity by experts and item validity using the Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) test. This research sample technique uses purposive sampling by determining sample criteria. The results showed the results of descriptive and correlation tests that there was a relationship or correlation between soft skills variables and career confidence variables in other words, the more soft skills increase, the career confidence in Makassar City disability students.

Abstract

Abstrak. Masyrakat Lanjut Usia (Lansia) merupakan salah satu kelompok yang rentan mengalami kejahatan digital. Fenomena kejahatan digital yang mereka alami juga cukup bervariasi. Mulai dari paparan hoaks dalam bidang kesehatan hingga penipuan bermotif perbankan yang dilakukan melalui panggilan seluler. Berdasarkan fenomena tersebut, kebutuhan edukasi terhadap lansia tentang literasi digital mutlak untuk dilakukan. Edukasi yang diperlukan tidak dalam bentuk individual, melainkan melalui komunitas-komunitas dimana mereka biasanya aktif. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan yang komperhensif, mulai dari pelatihan literasi digital, pendampingan dan bimbingan teknis terkait hoaks dan informasi, penggunaan aplikasi periksa fakta, cara menjaga data pribadi ketika menggunakan aplikasi digital dan bimbingan teknis untuk mengecek data pribadi yang dimiliki lansia. Dari pelaksanaan program ini diperoleh hasil post-test yakni banyaknya peserta yang kini lebih cepat mengenali hoaks dan cenderung melakukan verifikasi sebelum membagikannya. Mereka juga memahami pentingnya melaporkan hoaks kepada pihak yang berwenang atau platform media sosial untuk mencegah penyebaran lebih lanjut. Kata Kunci : Lansia, Literas Digital, Komunikasi, Internet, Makassar
