Introduction. The development in the field of information technology is growing rapidly from time to time. Digital-based repositories are a form of the use of information technology. Therefore, this study focuses on knowing the extent to which an information source such as a repository has a quality system that is able to produce quality information so as to provide satisfaction to its users. Research methods. This study used a correlational study method with a quantitative approach. The population were users of the National Scientific Repository, namely LIPI researchers in the Bandung area. Data Analysis. This study used a descriptive and inferential statistical analysis using the Spearman Rank test with SPSS application. Analysis Data. The results showed that the information quality variable has a significant relationship with the level of user satisfaction of the National Scientific Repository. Results and Discussion. The results of the study provide an illustration that the information quality variable has a significant relationship with the level of user satisfaction of the National Scientific Repository. Conclusions and Suggestions. This study shows that the system of National Scientific Repository is able to provide quality to the information provided, that having an impact on the level of satisfaction of the users of National Scientific Repository itself. Information quality should consider several dimensions such as time, content and format.

Artikel ini menganalisis implementasi Undang-undang Nomor 14/2008 tentang Keterbukaan Informasi Publik (KIP) pada Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Barat. Kajian deskriptif-kualitatif ini menghadirkan pembahasan tentang program aksi dalam proses implementasi kebijakan tersebut di atas di Provinsi Jawa Barat. Dengan teori implementasi kebijakan, didapatkan data bahwa program aksi dalam implementasi kebijakan informasi publik di pemerintahan Jawa Barat masih banyak kekurangan baik dari segi pelaksana, struktur, perencanaan, sarana dan prasarana, dan lain-lain. Oleh sebab itu masih banyak yang harus diperbaiki dalam implementasi undang-undang tersebut di Jawa Barat. Walaupun demikian, program aksi Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Barat dalam implementasi UU tersebut telah mendapat penilaian yang cukup bagus di tingkat nasional.

This study traces government efforts in formulating action programs in the development ofcommunity industries conducted in digital media. The government contribution here aims to inviteand provide models of economic growth, including in the field of micro, small and mediumenterprises in the field of media industry. This can be a potential that can provide prosperity forthe community in a sustainable manner. This is where the need for formulation of communitybaseddigital media development of the government of West Java. With the formulation, it isquestionable whether the government can bring the community to the digital media industry so asto foster the creative economy of society, how the processes that occur in the formulation of actionprograms, and similar questions. With descriptive and qualitative methods, this study found thatthe government has formulated policies that strongly support the development of the digital mediaindustry, as well as the general public has responded positively to government policies that haveadvocated the development of cutting-edge technology in the business field, but there are stillconstraints technical issues that must be continually refined.

Adanya Undang-undang Nomor 14/2008 tentang Keterbukaan Informasi Publik (KIP) secara tidak langsung telah mewajibkan pemerintah dan perangkat publik lainnnya untuk membuat informasi agar dapat diakses masyarakat. Juga berkewajiban memenuhi kebutuhan informasi yang dimohon oleh publik. Untuk menguatkan pelaksanaan tugas keterbukaan informasi dan pelayanan informasi publik, sebagai bukti komitmen dalam mematuhi UU KIP sekaligus mengarahkan seluruh jajaran aparat birokrasi, Pemerintah Provinsi Jabar menerbitkan Perda Nomor 11 Tahun 2011 tentang Transparansi, Partisipasi dan Akuntabilitas dalam Penyelenggaraan Pemerintahan Daerah Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Barat untuk tujuan menyelenggarakan sistem pemerintahan yang baik, bersih, serta bebas dari KKN. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif-kualitatif. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pelaksanaan kebijakan informasi publik di Jawa Barat masih banyak kekurangan, baik dari segi pelaksana, struktur, perencanaan, sarana dan prasarana. Komunikasi, sumber daya disposisi serta struktur birokrasi mutlak dibutuhkan guna perbaikan dalam implementasi undang-undang tersebut di Jawa Barat. Ringkasnya, elit birokrasi sangat penting keberadaan dan optimalisasi fungsinya demi kepuasan masyarakat.

This study aims to determine the motivation of managers in establishing community reading parks. This research was conducted at the Community Reading Park in West Bandung Regency. The method used in the study uses a qualitative approach to the type of phenomenological research. The technique of collecting data is done through observation, interviews and through library research. Based on the results of the study, it was revealed that the motives of the manager's goal in establishing TBM were to facilitate the community through TBM, increase public interest in reading and to provide facilities that could benefit the community. As for the motives for the reason for the management to establish TBM is due to lack of information or knowledge of the community, to preserve the reading culture, increase children's knowledge, to limit uncontrolled child association, high rates of illiteracy, and still lack public awareness of the importance of education.

Salah satu potensi yang dapat memajukan perekonomian masyarakat desa adalah potensi kuliner lokalnya. Untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat desa, pemerintah dan masyarakat harus bekerja bersama-sama sehingga sumber daya baik alam dan manusia dapat diberdayakan dengan tepat. Dalam hal ini, pemuda/i desa yang merupakan usia produktif dan juga bonus demografi dalam desa juga dapat bertindak sebagai partisipator dalam mengembangkan dan meningkatkan potensi-potensi desanya. Saat ini kebanyakan memilih untuk menjadi pegawai swasta dan buruh pabrik, tentunya bisa dimaksimalisasi perannya dalam bidang teknologi yaitu pemasaran melalui sosial media. Sebagaimana kita ketahui bahwa Indonesia sendiri merupakan negara dengan tingkat pengguna sosial media yang cukup tinggi di dunia dan pemuda/i merupakan sumber daya manusia yang masih sangat produktif baik dalam hal belajar dan bekerja. Maka, penulis merancang sebuah program pemberdayaan pemuda/i Desa Cipacing yang masih sangat jarang mengecap pendidikan di tingkat perguruan tinggi untuk meningkatkan taraf hidupnya dan memaksimalkan potensi yang dimiliki desa, melalui pembelajaran tentang literasi media dan pemasaran produk kuliner, cendera mata, berbasis online atau melalui media sosial.

This study aims to determine the information literacy patterns of the instructors in developing models of visual space intelligence. This research was conducted at the learning center “Villa Merah” Bandung. The focus of this study includes the views of the teacher’s views on information literacy and the teacher’s literacy pattern in the information seeking process. The method used in this study uses qualitative research with a type of case study research. The technique of collecting data is done through observation, interviews and through library research. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the instructors in tutoring at Villa Merah Bandung are still inaccurate in understanding what is really meant by literacy. Whereas regarding the pattern of literacy if it is associated with the stages of information retrieval based on the big six model such as the stages of problem formulation and identification, strategy formulation, determination of location and access to information, stages of use, selection and synthesis stages and evaluation stages in general the instructors in seeking information has carried out the stages of information retrieval.

The museum has a role as educational and research facilities for visitors. The Museum of Zoologi SITH ITB is one of the museum that has a collection of both wet and dry specimens. Preserved specimens become museum collections that are vulnarable to fragility or damage. Museum helped us to preserve the animals and change it to specimens so that museum visitors could see it. Thus, this study aims to see how to identify and serve collection at the Museum of Zoologi SITH ITB. The research method used was qualitative with case study approach, and the research subjects were museum head, curators, and museum visitors. The data were collected through interviews, observation, and literature review. According to the research results, museum collections are determined based on the policy of selecting animal species to be used as specimens, preservation and conservation methods (display), as well as taxonomic information. The types of animals chosen are those that have a backbone and no backbone, including invertebrates, fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals through wet and dry preservation. The conservation of the Museum of Zoology SITH ITB collection is carried out through a process of collection analysis, preservation, labeling, and storage. First, in performing the collection analysis process, curators observe animals to be killed for specimens and writes a permission letter to the authorized institution. Second, in performing preservation, curators preserve wet and dry specimen collections according to their own specimens. Third, in labeling activities, curators label wet and dry specimen collections according to the container placement. Finally, in storage activities curators store different collections of wet and dry specimens. Research on the identification and storage of collections at the Museum Zoologi SITH ITB can assist curators in introducing preserved specimens to visitors. The conclusion of the research is that the curators of the Museum Zoologi SITH ITB play an important role in maintaining the collection and introducing the museum collection to visitors, and this makes the collection of the museum to be long-lasting, researchable, and obserevable for all visitors.

In the process of dissemination information that mostly designed and carried out in an organized manner, the role of communicator is very impactfull to the successness of information delivery and also to gaining the trust or good responses from the audience. In order to get a good communicator, creating a strategy for selecting communicator is one of the good way that can be done and an important aspect that must be considered. This research aims to determine how the process of selecting a communicator strategy that carried out by GPSTEPS went using the theory of communicator requirements according to Cangara (credibility, attractiveness, and strength) and knowing the details of the stages of the strategy. The focus of this research consists of four stages of the GPSTEPS’s communicator selection strategy which are the selection of division heads, open volunteer recruitment, screening material regarding the GPSTEPS profile and health information to be submitted according to each division, and conduct special training to support the skills and creativity of communicators. This research was also conducted to provide a new perspective in determining the qualifications of a good communicator. The research method used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are using observation, interviews, and documentation study. The results showed that from stages of strategy for selecting communicators for the Waktu Belajar II program, GPSTEPS got the main communicator (each division heads) who has been determined using the GPSTEPS’s rotating system and the communicator’s assistant (volunteers) who has been determined by each division heads according to their performance, commitment, and credibility during the selection stage. The communicator selection strategy for Waktu Belajar II program was made by GPSTEPS to meet the qualifications of a good communicator for the Bantar Gebang Bekasi’s integrated landfill children.

K-Pass FM Radio Katapang is one of the radios disseminating information about disasters that focuses on training, awareness, and understanding of the people of Katapang Regency to play a role in dealing with disasters and help reduce disaster risk as well. This study aimed to determine the dissemination pattern of disaster information based on community radio conducted by Radio K-Pass FM Katapang. The research used a qualitative approach through case studies research methods. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, observation, documentation, and literature studies. Informants amount six people consist of resource persons consisting of community radio administrators, people who feel the impact of the existence of community radio, and people who take part in community radio programs. The study results showed that the dissemination of disaster information on Radio K-Pass FM Katapang increased the awareness of the local community about the dangers of disasters. The disaster information on K-Pass FM Radio Katapang went through three stages: the pattern of dissemination of disaster mitigation information (pre), the pattern of disseminating information when the disaster occurred (in), and post-disaster information (past). This community radio also established a Rescue School that aims to provide knowledge and actions that the community can carry out when a disaster occurs. This study concludes that Radio K-Pass FM Katapang has succeeded in becoming a community radio that positively impacts society, especially in disseminating information related to disasters. Therefore, Radio K-Pass FM Katapang still exists today even though it has been around for a long.
