Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in digital business models in Indonesia through a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analytical framework. Using a qualitative research approach, data were obtained from five key informants representing digital business practitioners, technology consultants, policymakers, and academics. The findings indicate that AI enhances operational efficiency, supports personalized customer experiences, and facilitates data-driven decision-making, which collectively strengthen innovation, agility, and competitiveness. Despite these advantages, the study identifies several persistent barriers, including high implementation costs, limited AI-skilled human resources, and challenges related to data quality and cybersecurity. Opportunities are supported by government-led digital transformation programs, such as Making Indonesia 4.0 and the National AI Strategy 2045, the rapid expansion of the digital economy, and continuous advancements in cloud computing and big data analytics. Nevertheless, significant threats remain, such as regulatory uncertainty, ethical concerns over data governance and algorithmic bias, and dependence on foreign technology providers. The study concludes that successful AI integration in Indonesia’s digital business ecosystem requires a strategic balance between technological investment, workforce capability development, and adaptive regulatory frameworks. By strengthening cross-sector collaboration and ensuring ethical, inclusive governance, AI can serve as a key driver of sustainable innovation and long-term competitiveness in Indonesia’s digital economy.

Abstract

Industry 5.0 introduces a human-centric paradigm that integrates advanced technologies with human creativity, emotional intelligence, and sustainability values. This study conducts a qualitative literature review of fifteen academic sources identified through Google Scholar to examine emerging trends in employee competency development in the Industry 5.0 era. The findings reveal a fundamental reorientation of workforce requirements, shifting from predominantly technical abilities to hybrid competencies that blend digital literacy, analytical reasoning, socio-emotional intelligence, sustainability awareness, and adaptive learning capacity. Employees are expected not only to master AI-assisted tools, automation systems, and data-driven platforms but also to collaborate effectively with intelligent machines and engage in complex decision-making processes shaped by real-time analytics. At the organizational level, the review highlights the growing importance of human-centered talent development strategies, including reskilling and upskilling initiatives, technology-enhanced learning ecosystems, and AI-supported personalized training pathways. These strategies aim to foster continuous learning and ensure that employee capabilities evolve alongside technological progress. The incorporation of ethical technology use, sustainability-oriented competencies, and psychological well-being further reinforces the principle that innovation in Industry 5.0 must remain inclusive and socially responsible. Overall, the study deepens the understanding of how Industry 5.0 reshapes competency frameworks across sectors and underscores the need for organizations, educators, and policymakers to proactively design learning environments that support future-ready human capital. The findings provide a foundation for developing integrated approaches to workforce transformation and identify gaps for future empirical research.

Abstract

Entrepreneurial intentions play a crucial role in fostering economic growth and innovation, particularly in developing countries such as Indonesia. This study examines the influence of growth mindset, self-efficacy, and an innovative environment on entrepreneurial intentions, with achievement motivation functioning as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 135 respondents through a Likert-scale questionnaire. Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3) was employed to analyze the data and evaluate both the direct and indirect relationships among variables. The results reveal that growth mindset, self-efficacy, and innovative environment significantly and positively influence entrepreneurial intentions. Furthermore, achievement motivation was found to play a crucial mediating role in strengthening the relationship between the three independent variables and entrepreneurial intentions. This indicates that individuals with a strong growth mindset, higher confidence in their abilities, and exposure to an innovation-supportive environment are more motivated to pursue entrepreneurial activities. The model demonstrated strong explanatory and predictive power, with R² values of 0.532 for achievement motivation and 0.614 for entrepreneurial intentions, suggesting that the variables collectively provide substantial contribution in predicting entrepreneurial behavior. These findings highlight the importance of psychological readiness, personal belief systems, and supportive environmental factors in shaping entrepreneurial aspirations in Indonesia. The study contributes to the theoretical understanding of entrepreneurial intention formation and offers practical implications for educators, policymakers, and entrepreneurship development institutions. Designing programs that strengthen mindset, build self-efficacy, enhance motivation, and cultivate innovation-oriented environments is essential for nurturing future entrepreneurs and supporting sustainable economic development.

Abstract

The increasing adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) has significantly transformed organizational processes and labor market structures, raising concerns about employment outcomes, particularly job stability. This study investigates the impact of AI implementation on job stability in Indonesia, with job polarization and access to training examined as mediating variables. Using a quantitative research design, data were collected from 130 employees across various industries in Indonesia through a structured questionnaire measured on a five-point Likert scale. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). The results reveal that AI implementation has a significant direct effect on job stability. Moreover, AI implementation significantly increases job polarization, which negatively affects job stability, while simultaneously enhancing access to training, which positively influences job stability. The mediation analysis demonstrates that job polarization and access to training partially mediate the relationship between AI implementation and job stability, with access to training exhibiting a stronger mediating effect. These findings suggest that the employment consequences of AI are not purely deterministic but are shaped by organizational strategies and human capital investments. The study contributes to the literature on AI and the future of work by providing empirical evidence from an emerging economy context and highlights the critical role of inclusive training and reskilling initiatives in sustaining job stability amid AI-driven transformation.

Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between financial technology (FinTech), risk perception, and regulation on trust in digital financial services among users in Indonesia. Using a quantitative research design, data were collected from 155 respondents who actively use digital financial platforms such as e-wallets, mobile banking, and peer-to-peer lending. The research employed a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed data using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). The results indicate that FinTech has a positive and significant effect on trust, suggesting that technological innovation, ease of use, and transparency enhance user confidence. Conversely, risk perception has a negative and significant effect, showing that security and privacy concerns reduce trust levels. Furthermore, regulation plays a positive moderating role by strengthening the impact of FinTech on trust, implying that effective regulatory oversight enhances institutional credibility and consumer protection. The model explains 68.1% of the variance in trust, reflecting its strong explanatory power. The findings contribute to the theoretical enrichment of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Institutional Trust Theory, offering practical implications for policymakers and FinTech developers to strengthen public confidence in digital financial ecosystems through innovation, transparency, and adaptive regulation.

Abstract

Multicultural-based Islamic Religious Education (PAI) management is a strategic approach in the administration of Islamic education that focuses on improving the quality of education while simultaneously strengthening inclusive and moderate religious attitudes. This research aims to theoretically examine the concept of multicultural-based Islamic Religious Education (PAI) management, the application of quality management in Islamic education, and its implications for the improvement of the quality of Islamic educational institutions. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study type (library research) thru the search and analysis of books, national and international journal articles, as well as relevant academic documents. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis and thematic analysis techniques to identify patterns, concepts, and key principles related to multicultural-based Islamic Education Management (PAI). The study results indicate that multicultural-based PAI management views diversity as a strategic potential in improving the quality of Islamic education. The integration of multicultural values in the PAI quality management system contributes to the development of contextual curricula, inclusive and dialogical learning, strengthening educator professionalism, and the formation of a democratic and virtuous culture in Islamic educational institutions. Thus, multicultural-based PAI management not only functions as an administrative instrument but also as a pedagogical and ideological strategy in shaping students who are religious, tolerant, and socially responsible in a multicultural society.
