Abstract

Program Adiwiyata adalah salah satu program yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan sikap peduli terhadap lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis efektivitas pelaksanaan Program Adiwiyata terhadap terwujudnya karakter peduli lingkungan di SMP Negeri 2 Pakis. Metode penelitian yaitu kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Program Adiwiyata di SMP Negeri 2 Pakis cukup efektif dalam menumbuhkan karakter peduli lingkungan di kalangan siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya perubahan dari segi perilaku, pengetahuan, dan tindakan siswa terkait lingkungan kearah yang lebih positif. Kata kunci: Adiwiyata, karakter peduli lingkungan, SMP Negeri 2 Pakis Implementing the Adiwiyata Program to Achieve Environmental Care at State Junior High School One initiative that attempts to raise knowledge and foster compassionate attitudes toward the environment is the Adiwiyata initiative. The aim of this research is to evaluate the impact of the Adiwiyata Program's implementation on SMP Negeri 2 Pakis environmental care character. The study employs a case study methodology and is qualitative in nature. Literature reviews, interviews, and observation are some methods of gathering data. The outcomes demonstrated how successful the SMP Negeri 2 Pakis Adiwiyata Program was in helping students develop environmentally conscious character traits. This is demonstrated by the way that student behavior, knowledge, and actions regarding the environment have changed for the better. Abstract

This research was conducted at the Comboran Market on Prof. Moch Yamin Street, Sukoharjo, Klojen District, Malang City with the following objectives: 1) to describe the background of thrift traders selling at the Comboran Market, and 2) to describe the survival strategy of thrift traders after the issuance of the policy of importing used clothes in the Comboran Market. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method. Data analysis uses the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The results of this study reveal that the background of Thrift traders in the Comboran Market is due to the potential for great interest in used clothing buyers in the Comboran Market and generate income with large profits. The name of the second-hand goods market has become an identity for the Comboran Market, and its location is easily accessible because it is in the middle of the city. The survival strategy of thrift traders after the issuance of the policy of banning the import of used clothes is with an active strategy, namely by maintaining existing potential such as utilizing family members as workers and being selective in choosing merchandise. The passive strategy is not to buy bales of used clothes at the agency, however, look for branded used clothes and buy them at a low price and resell them at a price that can make a profit. Also, a network strategy by building good relationships with agents and buyers so that daily needs can be met.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between parenting styles and the intensity of digital media use among children under age. The rapid development of digital technology has significantly altered daily activities, leading to a shift in parenting practices. The research employed a quantitative method by distributing online questionnaires to parents of young children. The study found that smartphones are the most frequently used digital devices at home, with children often engaging in activities such as watching videos and playing games. While digital media can provide educational benefits, excessive use without proper supervision poses risks, including health issues and behavioral changes. The findings underscore the critical role of parents in supervising and setting boundaries for digital media use. Effective strategies include limiting screen time, selecting age-appropriate applications, and encouraging alternative activities. The study highlights the importance of parental involvement to balance the benefits and mitigate the negative effects of digital media on children’s development.

Abstract

This service activity focuses on utilizing the abundant coconut fiber waste in Rejosari Village by processing it into cocopeat and cocofiber using a shredding machine. Coconut fiber waste is often an environmental problem due to the accumulation and pollution it causes. The activity implementation method consists of three stages, namely (1) preparation, including coordination with the village and provision of tools; (2) implementation, which includes the introduction of coconut fiber shredding machine technology and how to process the waste into cocopeat and cocofiber which can be used as planting media and other materials that have economic value; and (3) follow-up, in the form of marketing assistance and product development. The results of the activity showed an increase in community understanding and skills in processing coconut fiber waste independently. Cocopeat produced can be used as an environmentally friendly planting medium, while cocofiber is used as a craft. This program provides economic benefits to the community and supports sustainable environmental management. In the future, the proposed follow-up includes optimizing marketing and developing coconut fiber-based derivative products.

Abstract

Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi guru di SMP Negeri 22 Malang adalah keterbatasan dalam menyusun instrumen evaluasi hasil belajar yang mampu mengukur kemampuan literasi dan numerasi peserta didik secara mendalam. Instrumen evaluasi yang digunakan umumnya masih terbatas pada soal pilihan ganda berbasis hafalan, sehingga belum sepenuhnya mendukung pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah sesuai tuntutan abad ke-21. Untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut, dilaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa pelatihan peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam menyusun instrumen evaluasi berbasis literasi dan numerasi melalui elaborasi Taksonomi Bloom, Marzano, dan SOLO. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memperkuat pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam merancang instrumen evaluasi yang valid, reliabel, dan relevan dengan kebutuhan pembelajaran abad ke-21. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan service learning yang meliputi survei kebutuhan mitra, penyusunan materi, pelaksanaan sosialisasi dan pelatihan, hingga evaluasi dan tindak lanjut. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan guru, yang ditunjukkan melalui penilaian sangat baik pada seluruh indikator evaluasi. Kegiatan praktik juga membantu guru mengaplikasikan teori secara langsung, sehingga mereka lebih siap untuk mengimplementasikan instrumen evaluasi tersebut di kelas. Dengan demikian, program ini berhasil meningkatkan kapasitas guru dalam menyusun instrumen evaluasi yang mendukung literasi, numerasi, dan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of geospatial technology-based Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) training as an effort to improve the professional competence of high school geography teachers. This study uses an ex post facto method, with a qualitative descriptive approach and data collection techniques through field observation, documentation, and pre-test and post-test questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that training in the use of geospatial technology based on Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) has a significant effect on improving teachers' professional competencies, including a comprehensive understanding of the integrative concepts of pedagogy, content, and technology, an increase in the use of geospatial platforms such as Google Earth, Inarisk, and Inageoportal, and the ability to link learning materials with the use of spatial data. This activity is a strategic step in encouraging teachers to become more professional and prepared to face the challenges of the 21st century.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) berbasis teknologi geospasial sebagai upaya peningkatan kompetensi profesionalitas kepada guru geografi tingkat sekolah menengah atas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode ex post facto, dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif serta teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi lapangan, dokumentasi dan pemberian kuesioner pre-test dan post-test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pelatihan pemanfaatan teknologi geospasial berbasis Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru, meliputi memahami secara utuh konsep integratif antara pedagogi, konten, dan teknologi, menunjukkan peningkatan dalam penggunaan platform geospasial seperti Google Earth, Inarisk, dan Inageoportal, serta mampu mengaitkan materi pembelajaran dengan penggunaan data spasial. Kegiatan ini menjadi langkah strategis dalam mendorong guru menuju profesionalisme dan kesiapan menghadapi tantangan abad ke-21

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the forms of socio-ecological resilience of coastal communities in Rowoterate Hamlet, which are affected by annual recurrent floods. Within the disaster geography framework, local responses are important to study as adaptive practices based on local wisdom. The study applied a qualitative case study design with thematic analysis. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with residents, community leaders, and village officials. The results show that the residents engage in both physical adaptation (e.g., elevated homes, storage platforms) and socio-cultural adaptation (e.g., mutual cooperation, ritual events, and community-based early warning systems). Although floods are recurrent, residents choose to stay due to land attachment, livelihood continuity, and strong social cohesion. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating resilience and local adaptive strategies into community-based disaster risk management. Practically, the findings of this study can serve as a reference for formulating disaster risk reduction policies that are more context-specific and sustainable in coastal areas.

Abstract

Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial merupakan mata pelajaran yang bertujuan membekali peserta didik dengan pemahaman tentang gejala sosial dan ekonomi yang terjadi di masyarakat. Namun, jika materi ekonomi hanya dipelajari secara hafalan tanpa pemahaman mendalam, peserta didik kelas VII tidak akan mengalami pemahaman pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial secara menyeluruh. Oleh sebab itu, tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pemahaman belajar serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemahaman belajar peserta didik kelas VII materi peran pelaku ekonomi dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial. Metode yang digunakan penelitian ini yakni kualitatif jenis deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi non partisipan, wawancara semi terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik mampu memahami materi peran pelaku ekonomi dengan baik, terutama pada konsep menghubungkan kehidupan sehari-hari melalui indikator translasi, interpretasi dan ekstrapolasi. Hal ini didukung oleh faktor internal berupa kondisi fisik, intelegensi, sikap, minat dan motivasi belajar serta faktor ekstrnal berupa lingkungan sekolah yang nyaman, metode pembelajaran, model pembelajaran, dan media pembelajaran yang relevan dengan kebutuhan peserta didik. Temuan ini mengimplikasi bahwa pembelajaran IPS perlu dirancang secara konseptual dan interaktif agar memudahkan peserta didik memahami materi. Peneliti merekomendasikan guru IPS dapat berkoordinasi dengan pihak sekolah untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dalam pembelajaran seperti menambah waktu belajar peserta didik, meningkatkan fasilitas sekolah, serta mengadakan kegiatan kokurikuler.

Abstract

Paradigma baru pendidikan diharapkan dapat menyediakan aktivitas yang menghargai setiap kondisi dan perkembangan peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, guru diharapkan untuk dapat menguasai pendekatan pembelajaran, khususnya pendekatan TaRL dan Pendidikan Inklusif. Masalahnya belum semua guru dapat menguasai pendekatan tersebut serta cara pengimplementasiannya dalam perangkat pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk melatih dan mendampingi guru di Kota Malang dalam menyusun perangkat pembelajaran yang terintegrasi TaRL dan pendidikan inklusif. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan dengan model pelatihan dengan prosedur analisis, persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan ditemukan bahwa belum semua guru di Kota Malang dapat menguasai pendekatan TaRL dan pendidikan inklusif. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan penyampaian materi dinilai sangat jelas (70 persen peserta sangat setuju), yang berkorelasi langsung dengan peningkatan pemahaman. Tingkat pemahaman peserta mencapai persetujuan tinggi (Setuju dan Sangat Setuju) untuk semua materi inti yaitu 100 persen untuk Pembelajaran Inklusif dan Deep Learning, serta 97,5 persen untuk TaRL.  Tingkat kebermanfaatan yang tinggi ini membekali guru dengan pemahaman yang kuat dan bekal praktis. Dengan demikian, pengabdian ini berkontribusi dalam menyediakan pedoman penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran yang adaptif, inklusif, dan berorientasi pada pencapaian kemampuan siswa secara optimal
