Abstract

The balance of life in the world and the hereafter is a behavior that must be applied in daily life. This study aims to explore the application of the balance between worldly and spiritual life by the millennial generation. In today's modern era, full of material orientation and practical lifestyles, many young people tend to ignore the religious dimension in their daily lives. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods to gain in-depth understanding through in-depth interviews, observations, and review of relevant literature to strengthen the data obtained. The findings show that some millennials are starting to build awareness to balance worldly achievements with spiritual responsibilities. This can be seen from participation in religious-social activities, time management between work and worship, and utilization of digital media to spread positive messages. This study suggests that fostering spiritual values should receive attention from families, educational institutions and the surrounding environment and strive to achieve a balance of worldly and afterlife life in the millennial generation. Awareness of the importance of the afterlife in living modern life is the foundation in creating a generation that is in harmony between the outer and inner aspects

Abstract

The thoughts of Abdurrahman An-Nahlawi and Zakiah Daradjat present a perspective that emphasizes the importance of Islamic education, which begins in the home environment, being based on the Qur'an and translated into daily life practices. This approach ensures that Muslim families are not only the primary learning institution but also the main fortress in instilling Islamic values. This study aims to explain the concept of Islamic education in family development according to the two figures, identify similarities and differences from the perspective of sources and application of education, and examine the relevance of the application of the concept in the formation of children's morals. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature review-based figure study method, where data is collected through literature studies that include primary sources in the form of works by Abdurrahman An-Nahlawi and Zakiah Daradjat, as well as secondary sources such as books and other relevant scientific works. The results of the analysis reveal that although both figures place the Qur'an as the main source of Islamic education, there are differences in the emphasis of methods and interpretations of the application of Islamic values in family life. Their fundamental similarity lies in the belief that Islamic education at home must be able to shape the character and morals of children holistically, while the differences arise from the practical approach and social context faced by each thinker. The results of this study can contribute to strengthening the concept of Islamic education in the family as a strategic effort to foster children's morals, as well as providing direction for educators and policymakers in designing educational programs that are by the principles of Islamic law and the demands of the development of the times.

Abstract

This study discusses a project-based learning model in the form of a short film project designed and performed by students themselves. This study aims to analyze the extent to which this short film project is effective and interesting for students in understanding the material on fiqh munakahat. Furthermore, it is interesting to analyze how students are able to build their understanding of the material on talaq ba'in kubra through this short film project. The author uses a multidisciplinary theory, namely the theory of project-based learning in Islamic education and the theory of legal constructivism in analyzing the data. In conducting this research, the author uses a mixed method design approach with a concurrent embedded strategy model. The subjects of this study were eleven students at a boarding school in West Sumatra, Indonesia, who were involved in the short film project. The data analysis technique used by the author was thematic analysis for qualitative data, while the quantitative data analysis technique used a simple statistical test (t-test). The results of this study indicate that the learning model using the short film production project is highly effective in enhancing students' abilities in the following areas: more practical and interactive learning, increased interest and motivation to learn, easier understanding of concepts, and promotion of collaboration and teamwork. Furthermore, from a legal constructivist perspective, it demonstrates that understanding of fiqh munakahat can be developed through real-world experiences in the short film production project itself, rather than solely through lecture-based methods and rote memorization of texts. Thus, short film production is not merely a learning tool but also a constructivist strategy for fostering a deeper and more contextual understanding of Islamic law among students.

Abstract

This research is based on the lack of awareness of students in PAI learning. Students are less active and less enthusiastic in participating in learning because the learning strategies carried out by PAI teachers are still monotonous. Several types of active learning strategies have been carried out by PAI teachers, but they still do not involve active students, so students are less enthusiastic and learning is less interesting for students. This research aims to find out the types of active learning learning strategies, the steps for implementing active learning learning strategies, and to find out the advantages and disadvantages of active learning learning strategies in PAI subjects in elementary schools. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. The data sources are school principals, PAI teachers, and students. Data collection was obtained using interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions or verification. The results of this research can be used as initial data for future researchers in studying this problem in different contexts and issues.

Abstract

This study aims to describe parenting patterns in educating the emotional development of early childhood at PAUD Al-Amin Lubuk Alung and identify the role of the family and school environment in shaping children's social-emotional abilities. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of teachers, parents, and students at PAUD Al-Amin. The results show that the emotional development of early childhood is strongly influenced by the parenting patterns applied by parents. Children who receive democratic parenting patterns show better abilities in recognizing and managing emotions, empathizing, and interacting socially positively. Meanwhile, children who are raised with an authoritarian pattern tend to have difficulties in controlling emotions and behave aggressively. The family and school environment play an important role in providing positive examples and habits to support children's social-emotional development. This study concludes that the synergy between appropriate parenting patterns, open communication within the family, and a supportive school environment is a key factor in shaping the emotional character of early childhood that is healthy and balanced.

Abstract

Language development in early childhood is a fundamental aspect that influences children's communication, cognitive, and social abilities. The school environment plays an important role in supporting the language acquisition process through educational interactions, adequate facilities, and interactive learning methods. This research was conducted at Yappega Gantung Ciri Islamic Kindergarten, Solok Regency, which is known for its integration of character-based learning and local wisdom. This study aims to describe the forms of communication and social interactions that influence early childhood language development, as well as to identify the factors that influence it. The method used is field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation with the principal and four teachers using a purposive sampling technique. The results of the study indicate that children's language development is influenced by: (1) the provision of a stimulus-rich learning environment such as a reading corner and interactive media; (2) the implementation of active learning strategies such as role-playing, storytelling, and charades; (3) positive social interactions between teachers and students; (4) strengthening local cultural values through the use of the Minang language in learning activities; and (5) parental support through parenting activities. In addition, internal factors such as children's interests and character, as well as external factors such as media and gender also influence the language development of early childhood.
