Abstract

This research aims to describe the meaning of Cangkrukan as an adult learning model in strengthening the role of Pokdarwis in the Bukit Surowiti, Gresik tourist village, East Java. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The location of this research is Surowiti Village, Panceng District, Gresik, East Java. The informants in this study were Pokdarwis members, village officials, and local village community leaders. Data was collected by involving observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The research results show that the wheel government and Pokdarwis use dialogue media, social media, WhatsApp, and Cangkrukan in village tourism. Through Cangkrukan, the village government and Pokdarwis can convey the idea of a tourist village and get a direct response from the community. Cangkrukan can determine strategies to advance the community's tourism awareness through informal conversations. Cangkrukan can be an example of a community empowerment strategy based on local wisdom.

Abstract

This research investigates the potential of research misconduct involving the use of Chat GPT (Generative Pre-Trained Transformer) among senior students of the Nonformal Education Studies program at Universitas Negeri Surabaya. In the digital era and technological advancements, Chat GPT has become a popular tool that aids in research and writing, but it also poses risks related to ethics and academic integrity. The study aims to comprehend and identify possible forms of research misconduct involving Chat GPT usage within the Nonformal Education Studies program at Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Additionally, this research seeks methods to detect and prevent such misconduct. Employing a qualitative approach, this study conducted a survey among senior students of the Nonformal Education Studies program. The survey included questions related to the utilization of Chat GPT in research and understanding academic ethics. Data obtained were analyzed thematically to identify patterns and trends related to research misconduct. The findings reveal that the usage of Chat GPT in research among senior students of the Nonformal Education Studies program at Universitas Negeri Surabaya presents risks of academic misconduct. Students tend to rely on Chat GPT to generate research content without realizing the ethical consequences involved. This research provides insights into the potential of research misconduct induced by Chat GPT usage within the academic environment. These findings contribute to raising awareness of the significance of research ethics and the policies necessary to prevent such misconduct. In the face of technological innovation, it is crucial for universities and educational institutions to enhance students' understanding of academic integrity and the associated risks of Chat GPT usage in research. Stricter policies and preventive approaches should be implemented to ensure research integrity and uphold honesty within the academic community.

Abstract

This research aims to elucidate a comprehensive overview of Pancasila students as a strategic step in shaping the national character, particularly within the context of the Nahdlatul Ulama Teachers Union (Pergunu) in Kediri Regency. The employed method in this study is the literature review method, involving a series of activities related to the collection, reading, recording, and processing of data from various literary sources. Findings from this research highlight that the profile of Pancasila students plays a significant role in supporting national educational goals and advancing character strengthening programs. This profile encompasses essential characteristics and competencies for Indonesian students, both in the formal learning context and in interactions with society. Through the application of six dimensions of the Pancasila student profile—faith and piety to God Almighty, global diversity, self-reliance, mutual cooperation, critical thinking, and creativity—it is anticipated that the Indonesian society can become individuals who are intelligent, character-driven, and capable of facing 21st-century challenges. This is also expected to consistently instill Pancasila values, in accordance with our national philosophy, ultimately realizing a prosperous and dignified life for the nation as mandated by the 1945 Constitution. The development strategy of the Pancasila student profile is implemented through integration into formal education activities, such as intracurricular, extracurricular, and cocurricular activities, organized in the form of Pancasila student profile strengthening projects. Through the implementation of this policy, it is hoped to cultivate excellent character in the Indonesian student generation, enabling them to compete globally.

Abstract

Evaluation of Internal Quality Assurance at the Faculty of Education, Surabaya State University and carried out by a research team from the Faculty of Education, UNESA. The aim of the research is to evaluate the internal quality assurance process at the faculty. Carried out for 1 year and funded by LPPM UNESA. Evaluation focuses on learning monev and curriculum audit. The results show that the implementation of learning monev and curriculum audits is in accordance with the schedule set by the Chancellor. This evaluation provides information that can be used for policy making regarding internal quality assurance within the scope of the study program. The research method used is the CIPP (Context, Input, Process and Product) evaluation model using a questionnaire as a research instrument. Even though there are several obstacles in its implementation, the general evaluation of the implementation of internal quality assurance at FIP ??Unesa shows good results.

Abstract

Tingginya tingkat persaingan dalam kehidupan dan peluang untuk mendapatkan tambahan pendapatan merupakan salah ciri dari globalisasi dan revolusi industry. Globalisasi, revolusi industri dan teknologi bagai pisau bermata dua yang melahirkan era digitalisasi yang merupakan dampak dari globalisasi. Kewirausahaan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi suatu negara. Pada dasarnya, dengan kewirausahaan sendiri memiliki kemampuan untuk melahirkan seorang pengusaha serta sebagai solusi untuk pertumbuhan ekonomi dan pembangunan suatu negara. Peran pengusaha dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi suatu negara sangatlah penting yang dapat memberdayakan masyarakat agar memiliki kemandirian untuk dapat menumbuhkan perekonomiannya sekaligus memperbaiki kehidupannya di masa depan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus pada peran pelaku usaha muda dalam memberdayakan masyarakat dan umkm. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan wawancara, sampel berjumlah 15 orang dan populasi berjumlah 30 orang. Analisis data menggunakan analisis dari miles dan Huberman dengan 3 tahapan yaitu: (1) kondensasi data, (2) penyajian data (display data), (3) penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian kali ini adalah terdapat perbedaan treatment (perlakuan) antara memberdayakan masyarakat dengan memberdayakan para pelaku umkm kecil melalui peran pengusaha (pelaku usaha) muda. Perbedaannya terletak pada pemberdayaan untuk masyarakat yang lebih kompleks dan detail karena sebagai pondasi awal untuk memperkuat masyarakat agar memahami tentang dunia kewirausahaan bahwa tahapan atau proses yang dilalui sangatlah banyak sehingga dibutuhkan ketelatenan dan keuletan agar dapat menumbuhkan rasa kemandirian secara pelan-pelan. Untuk pemberdayaan pada pelaku umkm kecil peran pelaku usaha muda ini lebih langsung menyasar kepada permasalahan yang dihadapi para pelaku umkm kecil seperti produk, penjualan, dan branding. Dimana cara yang dilakukan pelaku usaha muda ini adalah dengan berkolaborasi dengan pengusaha lain serta menyiapkan tim yang ahli serta mendatangkan langsung contoh pelaku usaha lainnya yang sudah sukses dengan segala macam rintangan yang sudah dilewati

Abstract

The goal of early childhood education (PAUD) is to provide the best possible education and stimulation for children from birth to age six. Language development is one area that needs improvement. This study looks into how Wordwall games might help PKK Jalmak Kindergarten's young students' language development. Qualitative descriptive method was used in this study and involved 19 children from group A of TK PKK Jalmak, aged between 4 and 5 years old, consisting of 8 girls and 11 boys. Observation, interview, and documentation were the methods used to collect data. The results showed that the Wordwall game requires various steps, such as planning and preparation, implementation, and evaluation. All of these steps are characterized by improvements in letter recognition, repeating new vocabulary, the ability to understand two simple instructions, and the ability to identify words according to pictures.

Abstract

The impact of digital technology in urban areas has a big influence on suburban communities, from mindset to use of technology. The development of digital technology has caused new upheavals in suburban society; the VUCA era has become a new chapter. Therefore, it is necessary to be equipped with digital literacy. This research aims to describe and analyze research findings regarding the impact of self-directed learning on digital literacy in suburban society. This research uses a qualitative approach with a grounded theory method. Research was conducted on suburban societies, youth organizations, community facilitators, and stakeholders through participatory observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and document studies. Data analysis uses open, axial, and selective coding data analysis. The research results show that the process of self-directed digital literacy learning in suburban communities is manifested in the community's proactive attitude with the presence of digital technology and social media. The construction of knowledge and learning experiences in building digital literacy in suburban communities is realized in the community's appreciation for the presence of digital technology, which is interpreted as providing convenience, new insights, and benefits. Apart from that, it is an informal learning medium, a mass communication tool, a discussion forum, a medium for social interaction in cyberspace, and an exploration of skills and knowledge in social media. This research concludes that self-directed learning is a strategy for suburban society to improve digital literacy skills.

Abstract

Ahli Ilmu Pendidikan Orang Dewasa (Andragogi) Malcolm Knowles menyatakan apabila warga belajar telah berumur 17 tahun, penerapan prinsip andragogi dalam kegiatan pembelajarannya telah menjadi suatu kelayakan. Usia warga belajar pada kelompok belajar program PLS rata-rata di atas 17 tahun, sehingga dengan sendirinya penerapan prinsip andragogi pada kegiatan pembelajarannya semestinya diterapkan. Berangkat dari hal tersebut, peneliti dalam kaitannya penelitian ini mengusung judul “Penerapan Prinsip Andragogi Dalam Pembelajaran Untuk Membentuk Sikap Kewirausahaan Di LKP Buana Bordir Course. Sikap kewirausahaan ini nantinya akan dibentuk melalui penerapan andragogi karena peneliti melihat kebanyakan lembaga kursus dan pelatihan lebih menghasilkan peserta didik yang mempunyai skill dan pengetahuan tanpa memperhatikan mau dibawa kemana nantinya skill dan pengetahuan tersebut. Penelitian ini nantinya akan menjawab rumusan masalah (1) Bagaimana penerapan prinsip andragogi dalam pembelajaran untuk membentuk sikap kewirausahaan di lembaga kursus dan pelatihan buana bordir course? dan (2) Bagaimana membentuk sikap kewirausahaan melalui penerapan prinsip andragogi di lembaga buana bordir course. Pendekatan penelitian dalam penelitian kali ini dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di LKP Buana Bordir Course di Kabupaten Ponorogo. Subyek dalam penelitian kali ini adalah pengelola, tutor atau pendidik, dan peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data serta penarikan kesimpulan. Dalam uji keabsahan data untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan hasil penelitian ini maka peneliti menggunakan kredibilitas, dependabilitas, konfirmabilitas, dan transferabilitas. Hasil dari penelitian ini peneliti fokuskan kepada dua indikator yaitu penerapan prinsip andragogi dan sikap kewirausahaan. Hasil tersebut menyimpulkan bahwasanya penerapan prinsip andragogi dalam pembelajaran untuk membentuk sikap kewirausahaan di LKP Buana Bordir Course telah berjalan dengan baik dan telah terbukti dengan banyaknya alumni yang telah menjadi wirausahawan yang sukses. Dengan demikian, saran dari peneliti sendiri adalah ditujukan terutama kepada pengelola untuk selalu membuat ide baru atau inovasi agar minat masyarakat untuk bergabung menjadi peserta didik di LKP terus meningkat. Abstract

Talent class speak up at Homeschooling Kak Seto Surabaya is a non-academic activity with the aim of developing and training students' English speaking skills. In the talent class speak up learning process, an involvement of students' cognitive abilities is needed to get a change in knowledge. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an influence of the talent class speak up program on the cognitive abilities of students in package B and package C pursuit programs. The method used in this research was descriptive quantitative. The results of the study show the value of (5,142) > (2,032) and the value significant 0.000 <0.05. this shows that there is a significant influence of the talent class speak up program on students' cognitive abilities package B and package C at Homeschooling Kak Seto Surabaya. The existence of a talent class speak up program helps students improve their English speaking skills.

Abstract

The vocational skill program is one of the activities carried out at the Surabaya State SKB with the aim of increasing competence and exploring the potential of students through the skills provided. The increasing competence of Surabaya State SKB students is one of the backgrounds of this research. This research is a research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects were school principals, tutors and Surabaya State SKB students. Data collection was carried out in three ways, namely participatory observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study are data condensation, data display and conclusions. The validity of this research data uses prolong engagement, triangulation of data sources, triangulation of data collection methods and member checks. The results of this study indicate that the management of vocational skill programs can improve students' competencies including cognitive competence, affective competence and pricomotor competence.
