Abstract

Kurangnya pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam pembelajaran matematika menuntut adanya inovasi model pembelajaran yang tidak hanya berpusat pada siswa, tetapi juga mampu menstimulus keterlibatan aktif dan pemikiran mendalam dalam memecahkan masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa melalui penerapan model Connected Mathematics Project (CMP). Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMPN 2 Bontonompo Selatan dengan subjek penelitian berjumlah 34 siswa kelas VIII A tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Teknik pengumpulan data yang diterapkan antara lain observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi, sementara instrumen penelitian yang digunakan meliputi lembar observasi aktivitas siswa, tes kemampuan berpikir kritis, dan lembar checklist dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan tindakan kelas dengan pembelajaran Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) terlaksana dengan baik, ditandai dengan aktivitas belajar siswa meningkat, di mana rerata dengan persentase 84,4% mencapai kategori baik pada siklus II  setelah sebelumnya berada pada kategori cukup di siklus I dengan rerata 73,3%. Kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa juga meningkat, terlihat dari hasil tes yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dari siklus I dengan persentase ketuntasan 47,1% menjadi 73,5% pada siklus II. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

Radicalism in religious life has become a serious problem, leading to the emergence of the term religious moderation in society. On the other hand, the low level of mathematical literacy in higher education also requires attention. This study aims to develop a learning module based on religious moderation to improve students' mathematical literacy. The module was developed using the ASSURE model. The validation results by experts showed a score of 3.814, categorized as "very valid." Through a lecturer questionnaire, the practicality test obtained a score of 3.56, which was categorized as "very positive," while the student response was 3.276, which was categorized as "good." The effectiveness of the module, reviewed from the results of the mathematical literacy test, showed that 50% of students were in the moderate category and 25% in the high category. Thus, this learning module is declared valid, practical, and effective. This study shows that integrating religious moderation values in mathematics learning improves students' cognitive abilities and forms a tolerant attitude and critical thinking, making a real contribution to the development of values-based mathematics education in higher education.

Abstract

Mathematical problem solving ability is an essential skill that allows students to apply mathematical concepts to problems. However, there are still quite serious problems related to students' low mathematical problem solving abilities. Therefore, service in the form of assistance in solving contextual-based questions on SPLDV material aims to facilitate students' mathematical problem solving abilities. This assistance is provided to class VIII MTsN Gowa students. Evaluation of the level of success of service is carried out through learning outcomes tests which include contextual-based questions and student response questionnaires. Based on the analysis of learning outcomes tests, it was found that students' mathematical problem solving abilities still need to be trained. However, based on analysis of student response questionnaires, a positive response was obtained regarding the implementation of mentoring. Thus, service activities in the form of assistance in solving contextual-based problems are feasible to be carried out on an ongoing basis in an effort to improve students' mathematical problem solving abilities.

Abstract

Adolescence usually begins with an interest in the type of behavior that indicates courtship behavior. The number of negative impacts caused by deed behavior as an act that must be avoided because it approaches adultery. As a solution so that teenagers avoid the tendency of dating behavior, it is necessary to build awareness through training. The Points of You card-assisted training can help a person in building his awareness which can contain cards that can bring out a person's deepest awareness so that it is considered to reduce the tendency of dating in teenagers. This service research was carried out at MAN 1 Enrekang. The number of participants involved in this service research was 42 students. Data collection used a self-introduction scale that was prepared by the researcher himself. The results showed that there was an average difference between scores before using the You card in reducing the tendency of dating in adolescents. The results of the NGain Score calculation show that self-introduction training using the Points of You card is in the category that is quite effective in reducing the tendency of dating in adolescents. Masa remaja biasanya diawali dengan adanya ketertarikan dengan lawan jenis yang berpotensi perilaku pacaran. Banyaknya dampak negatif yang diakibatkan oleh perilaku pacaran menjadikannya sebagai perbuatan yang harus dihindari karena mendekati zina. Sebagai solusi agar remaja terhindar dari kecenderungan perilaku pacaran, maka diperlukan membangun kesadaran melalui pelatihan. Pelatihan berbantu kartu Points of You dapat membantu seseorang dalam membangun kesadarannya karena berisi kartu-kartu yang dapat menggali kesadaran terdalam seseorang sehingga dianggap dapat mengurangi kecenderungan pacaran pada remaja. Penelitian pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di MAN 1 Enrekang. Jumlah partisipan yang terlibat dalam penelitian pengabdian ini sebanyak 42 peserta didik. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala pengenalan diri yang disusun sendiri oleh peneliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan rata-rata antara skor sebelum dengan sesudah penggunaan kartu of You dalam mengurangi kecenderungan pacaran pada remaja. Hasil perhitungan NGain Score menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan pengenalan diri menggunakan kartu Points of You berada pada kategori cukup efektif dalam mengurangi kecenderungan pacaran pada remaja.

Abstract

A Systematic Literature Review of Technology-Based Learning Models to Improve Numeracy Literacy in the Indonesian Context. Objectives: Technology-based learning is a learning approach that fosters student interaction with various learning resources. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of technology-based learning models that can improve numeracy literacy. Methods: This research employed a Systematic Literature Review following the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) protocol. Data were collected using the Publish or Perish tool from Scopus and Google Scholar databases, limited to articles published between 2016 and 2025. A total of 25 articles were deemed eligible for analysis. Findings: The results of this study indicate that various technology-based learning models facilitate the improvement of students' numeracy literacy skills. These models integrate technology to create learning that supports a more concrete understanding of numeracy concepts. In addition, this study also identifies the types of technologies used in technology-based learning models, which consist of four main categories: hardware, general software, mathematical software, and online resources. Notably, the most prominent findings highlight the use of General Software and Online Resources, which are widely applied in various learning models to support students’ numeracy literacy development.  Conclusion: This study concludes that technology-based learning models have the potential to significantly enhance students’ numeracy literacy by implementing various forms of technology into the learning process. These models not only provide a more concrete understanding of numeracy concepts but also create interactive and engaging learning environments. The contribution of this research provides a solid basis for educators to adopt more effective and relevant technology-based learning models to improve students' numeracy literacy. Keywords: learning model, numeracy literacy, technology.

Abstract

Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) are high-level thinking skills that involve analysis, evaluation and creation. In line with the implementation of a curriculum that emphasizes HOTS development, there are still obstacles in students' ability to face HOTS questions, especially in matrix material. Some students experience difficulty in applying matrix concepts analytically and critically in solving problems that require high-level thinking. This service is assisting class XI students in Package 9 MAN 2 Makassar City, which aims to improve students' abilities in solving HOTS questions on matrix material. The service is carried out with an interactive approach and is based on practical exercises related to HOTS questions. Evaluation of the level of success of service is carried out through learning outcomes tests which include HOTS questions and student response questionnaires. Based on the analysis of learning outcomes tests, the average student score was 58.68 in the medium category. Meanwhile, the results of the analysis of student responses obtained a response percentage of 91,11 in the very positive category. The results of this evaluation show that learning assistance in solving HOTS questions is really needed by students. Thus, service activities are recommended to be carried out on an ongoing basis in an effort to improve students' HOTS abilities.

Abstract

The learning process cannot be separated from the use of learning tools, the entire learning process has been planned in these learning tools. This study aims to produce a contextual-based mathematics learning tool on the subject of comparison of class VII SMPN 27 Makassar which is valid, practical and effective. The type of research used is research and development (R&D) with reference to the 4-D Thiagarajan model, namely: (1) the define stage, (2) the design stage, (3) the develop stage, and (4) the disseminate stage. The instruments used were validation sheets, student response questionnaires, observation sheets for device implementation, and learning outcomes tests. Based on the results of the validation of the experts, the products developed and the instruments used for each aspect were in the "valid" to "very valid" category on average. In the field trial, it was found that: (1) the instrument used to measure the practicality found that the device developed was carried out well, the average value of all aspects of the observation was carried out and the response questionnaire analysis was in the "positive" category (2) the instrument for measuring the effectiveness The data obtained from the test of learning outcomes with an average score of students reaching 83.3%, student activity was as expected, and observations of learning management were in the high category. So that this study produces a contextual-based mathematics learning tool product on the subject of comparison of class VII SMPN 27 Makassar which is valid, practical and effective.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung anak melalui media sempoa (2) Untuk mengetahui meningkatnya kemampuan berhitung anak menggunakan media sempoa. Jenis Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan subjek peserta didik kelas B TK Aisyiah Limbung yang berjumlah 12 orang yang terdiri dari 6 laki-laki dan 6 perempuan. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu instrumen observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media sempoa dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung pada anak di TK Aisyiah Limbung dengan hasil yang baik. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari adanya peningkatan kemampuan berhitung pada peserta didik yang dimana pada pra siklus peserta didik yang mencapai kriteria berkembang sangat baik 0 dari 12 peserta didik. Dan pada siklus I peserta didik yang mencapai kriteria Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB) yaitu sebanyak 6 orang atau dengan persentase 50%. Kemudian pada siklus II bertambah menjadi 10 orang atau dengan persentase 83% yang telah mencapai standar penilaian yang telah ditentukan

Abstract

Student learning outcomes are still low so students need to have learning independence. For this reason, the application of ethnomathematics is carried out to support independent learning. This research aims to develop ethnomathematics teaching materials for the Makasar 99 dome mosque to facilitate students' independent learning. The development of teaching materials is carried out using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The trial implementation used a one-shot case study which was conducted on 25 students of the Mathematics Education Study Program at UIN Alauddin Makassar. Data were collected using questionnaires, observations, and tests. The collected data were analyzed using quantitative techniques to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the developed teaching materials. Some of the advantages of the developed e-module include: (1) Facilitating student learning independence, (2) Easily accessible to students, (3) Using PBL-based learning activities and scientific approaches. With these advantages, the developed teaching materials meet valid, practical, and effective criteria. By meeting these criteria, the developed teaching materials can be used to improve student abilities. However, with the limited samples and materials in these teaching materials, further research can be carried out by expanding the range of materials and samples. Hasil belajar mahasiswa masih rendah sehingga mahasiswa perlu memiliki kemandirian belajar. Untuk itu, penerapan etnomatematika dilakukan untuk mendukung kemandirian belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar etnomatematika masjid 99 kubah Makasar untuk memfasilitasi kemandirian belajar mahasiswa. Pengembangan bahan ajar dilalkukan dengan menggunakan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Desseminate). Pelaksanaan uji coba menggunakan one-shout case study yang dilakukan pada mahasiswa prodi Pendidikan matematika UIN Alauddin Makassar sebanyak 25 orang. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket, observasi, dan tes. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan Teknik kuantitaif untuk mengetahui validitas, praktikalitas, dan efektivitas bahan ajar yang dikembangkan. Beberapa keunggulan dari e-modul yang dikembangkan antara lain: (1) Memfasilitasi kemandirian belajar mahasiswa, (2) Mudah diakses oleh mahasiswa, (3) Menggunakan aktivitas pembelajaran berbasis PBL dan pendekatan saintifik. Dengan keunggulan tersebut, bahan ajar yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Dengan memenuhi kriteria tersebut, bahan ajar dikembangkan dapat digunakan dalam peningkatan kemampuan mahasiswa. Namun demikian, dengan adanya keterbatasan sampel dan materi pada bahan ajar tersebut, maka penelitian selanjutnya dapat dilakukan dengan memperluas cakupan materi dan sampel.

Abstract

The use of technology in learning is being optimized, one of which is the use of learning videos, to guide students to learn independently efficiently and effectively. Therefore, community service is carried out in the form of learning assistance using contextual-based learning videos which aim to facilitate the improvement of students' mathematical literacy skills. The use of digital media was chosen because it is easy to use by teachers and students. This assistance was carried out for class VIII students of MTsN Gowa. The method in this community service is to provide material about SPLDV which is contextually based by utilizing learning videos and providing mathematical literacy learning outcome tests. The results and impacts of this community service are in the form of increasing mathematical literacy results and student motivation in learning and helping teachers in making digital-based learning innovations, so that the learning process in the classroom is more innovative and creative. On the other hand, it is also able to provide teachers with the opportunity to improve the quality of learning by utilizing digital media in the form of learning videos.
