Abstract

STANDAR UJI KOMPETENSI LULUSAN PROGRAM MAGISTER PENDIDIKAN BAHASA PERANCISAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui standar kompetensi lulusan program studi magister Pendidikan Bahasa Perancis di Sekolah Pascasarjana Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deksriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah lulusan Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Perancis SPS UPI sejumlah 10 orang. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan melalui studi pendahuluan berupa proses kajian literatur untuk menghasilkan instrumen, pengembangan instrumen dengan menyusun naskah akademik, serta kisi-kisi dan validasi instrumen. validasi dilakukan melalui penilaian instrumen oleh tenaga ahli penimbang untuk menguji keunggulan dari instrumen yang dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa standar kompetensi lulusan sudah sesuai karakteristik Kerangka Kualifikasi Nasional Indonesia dan Cadre Européen Commun de Reference pour Les Langues (Kerangka Acuan Umum Eropa untuk Bahasa). Kisi-kisi Uji Kompetensi Lulusan sudah sesuai dengan tuntutan keluasan dan kedalaman materi dan memperhatikan prinsip-prinsip urgensi, kontinuitas, relevansi, dan keterpakaian.AbstractThis study was aimed at developing a competency test instrument accordance with the standards contained in KKNI and CECRL. The study carried out using the descriptive method. The subjects were 10 graduates of the French Language Department of the Indonesia Education University (IEU). Data-collection procedure included a preliminary study to review literature to design the research instrument and development and validation of the instrument. Instrument validation was conducted by expert judgement. The results of this study are expected to have utility and virtue as a reference in the design and formulation efforts graduate competency test devices, producing quality graduates who graduate professional quality and standardized according to KKNI and CECRL. The results showed the design of an academic paper has fulfilled the characteristics KKNI and CECRL, grilles Test Competency in accordance with the demands of the material and observing the principles of urgency, continuity, relevance, also the design of the device model Competency Test Graduates eligible to continue in the form of compilation and validation of items.

Abstract

This research aimed to describe how BIPA teachers implemented remote learning process, identify the problems encountered during COVID-19 pandemic, and explore how Indonesian cultural elements were introduced to students of primary and secondary schools. This research applied a case study design involving eight BIPA teachers in Victoria, Australia as participants. The data were collected through survey questionnaire, virtual interviews, and document analysis. The research data were analysed by making data categories regarding the implementation of remote learning, identification of its problems, and the introduction of Indonesian cultures to students. Interpretation of research findings was done by using relevant theoretical framework. The research findings indicated that the BIPA teachers implemented the remote learning through providing a learning model, listening to students’ individual reading practices, doing a discussion with the students, and implementing simple practices on the selected materials. One of the problems encountered was about students’ motivation. The elements of Indonesian cultures were introduced through identifying its types, describing the identified types of cultures, and writing short essays on the selected cultural topics.

Abstract

This research aims to describe lexicography in a French-Indonesian bilingual business dictionary that has been created and is available on dictionnaire-desaffaires.online. This research applies a descriptive qualitative method. The data collecting technique used in this research are questionnaire and lexicographic stages. The questionnaire is filled by Departement of French Language’s students of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia who learn French Business course (Français des Affaires). It aims to find out their needs for business dictionary. The result shows that they need a business dictionary in French-Indonesian and they prioritize content and information structure. Moreover, the researcher will describe lexicography in this dictionary, namely the stages of its preparation and the content of the dictionary, which is macrostructure and microstructure. The macrostructure is arranged alphabetically, while the microstructure consists of definition and grammatical information. The grammatical information contained in this dictionary is four major word classes: nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs. It can be concluded that the needs of students for business-specific dictionary can be fulfilled by compiling a dictionary using lexicography.

Abstract

Menulis sebagai salah satu keterampilan bahasa dianggap sebagai sebuah keterampilan yang sulit karena berisi variabel kemampuan lainnya yang bermuara pada kegiatan menulis. Menulis dalam bahasa Prancis juga memiliki tendensi yang sama dari sisi kesulitan dan menjadi mata kuliah yang harus memiliki perhatian penuh dari para mahasiswa dan pengajar. Berbagai kesulitan pengajar dan pemelajar bahasa Prancis dalam bidang menulis, terutama di masa pandemi Covid-19, semakin terasa dengan ditemukannya beberapa hasil kajian dan observasi terhadap kemampuan menulis. Pembelajaran menulis sinektik-literasi diri ditujukan untuk mengatasi persoalan di atas dan memberikan ruang berkreasi yang lebih luas bagi pengajar dan pemelajar dalam proses belajar mengajar menulis, karena model ini secara hipotetis mampu meningkatkan kemampuan dan gairah pembelajaran menulis. Pemilihan bidang keterampilan menulis ini juga dikorelasikan dengan tuntutan kompetensi abad XXI yang berbasis pada empat kompetensi utama, yaitu komunikasi (communication), kerja sama (collaboration), berpikir kritis (critical thinking), dan kreativitas (creativity).

Abstract

This writing  aims to analyze and describe the elements of hegemony based on Gramsci's perspective in novel Mémoires d’Hadrien of Marguerite Yourcenar. Gramsci's hegemony is a mastery concept or strategy based on intellectual leadership, moral awareness, and agreement. The method used in this research is the descriptive-qualitative. The instrument used in this research is the bibliographic study and documentation. The population of the research is novel Mémoires d’Hadrien, and the sample of the research is hegemony based on Gramsci's perspective that contained in those work. The result of this research is the types of hegemony, including a) ideological hegemony; b) power hegemony; c) cultural hegemony; d) moral hegemony; and e) economic hegemony. Furthermore, the worldview of the author seems to integrate with the story of the characters in the novel. Abstrak: Penelitian ini difokuskan pada unsur-unsur hegemoni Gramsci pada novel Mémoires d’Hadrien karya Marguerite Yourcenar. Hegemoni Gramsci adalah suatu konsep dan strategi penguasaan berbasis kepemimpinan intelektual dan kesadaran moral yang dilandasi persetujuan. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif-kualitatif. Teknik penelitian ini menggunakan Studi Pustaka dan Studi Dokumentasi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah novel Mémoires d’Hadrien, sedangkan sampel penelitiannya adalah unsur hegemoni yang terdapat pada karya tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil kajian, hegemoni yang muncul meliputi: a) hegemoni ideologi; b) hegemoni kekuasaan; c) hegemoni budaya; d) hegemoni moral; dan e) hegemoni ekonomi. Adapun selanjutnya, pandangan dunia pengarang terlihat berintegrasi dengan cerita tokoh pada novel.

Abstract

Learning languages is inevitably related to one’s learning culture and patterns. Despite the existence of different language learning strategies in Indonesia, students’ achievements in general show unsatisfying facts. Several learning patterns have the potential to stymie foreign-language learning at particular educational levels. Those learning patterns are the accumulation of a long traditions and practices in teaching and learning of foreign languages. This study examined the practices of teaching and learning French as a foreign language at two universities in Indonesia. These institutions were selected based on their approaches to teaching and learning the language; one employs a pedagogic approach, while the other applies a generalist approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with nine students and six lecturers, as well as observation of four classes between March 2016 and October 2017. The data were subsequently selected and analyzed with a didactic of foreign language methodology. The methodology was based on a post structural paradigm with an emphasis on intertextuality and interdiscoursivity. This method implied the approach to discourse analyses referred to the French perspective. Results from the analysis showed that the universities tended to teach French with a repetitive and uniform approach. The most prominent didactic technique was rote memorization through mnemonics, which permeated almost all aspects of learning the foreign language. The failure to combine this technique with other learning strategies stymied students' efforts to learn the language.

Abstract

The role of Indonesian as a unifier of the nation is very important in everyday life. The presence of digital literacy greatly affects the acquisition of information for each individual. Students as the nation's successors who are currently faster at mastering technology obtain a lot of information. It should be noted that digital literacy is mastered by students so that it is not easy to accept hoax information. Indonesian as a unifier of the nation must be supported by digital literacy skills, especially as an effort to fight the circulating hoaxes. The use of technology for students becomes a daily activity that is rarely restricted and supervised. The convenience in the digital world also often brings information that must be investigated further. Moreover, if the hoax information received by students is disseminated it can have a bad influence on other people. Data retrieval at SMKN 13 Bandung with descriptive qualitative methods. According to students of SMKN 13 Bandung, the negative impact of hoaxes can harm many people, being wrong in taking action, misleading, causing debate, and facts are no longer believed. Indonesia as a unifying nation today needs to be accompanied by digital literacy skills. Digital literacy can equip students in using technology, evaluating, and then utilizing information in digital media properly and correctly.

Abstract

Xenoglosofilia merupakan fenomena ketertarikan menggunakan bahasa asing secara berlebihan yang mengkhawatirkan keberadaan bahasa Indonesia di era globalisasi. Kecanggihan teknologi serta adanya budaya asing yang masuk ke negara Indonesia membawa dampak positif dan negatif bagi bahasa Indonesia. Hal tersebut menjadi latar belakang permasalahan penelitian ini, yaitu fenomena xenoglosofilia yang terjadi di kalangan remaja generasi Y dan Z di wilayah Bandung raya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui fenomena xenoglosofilia secara menyeluruh dengan memperkenalkan fenomena ini kepada masyarakat, khususnya generasi muda. Dengan pengetahuan tersebut, mereka diharapkan dapat menyikapi kesantunan berbahasa dan berbudaya, baik sebagai warga negara maupun warga dunia, di era globalisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan bentuk fenomena xenoglosofilia yang terjadi pada kalangan remaja di wilayah Bandung raya. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa wawancara secara tertulis melalui kuisioner dengan hasil data yang didapatkan sebanyak 104 reponden. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi penunjang ilmu, serta membuka wawasan lebih luas terkait bahasa di masyarakat khususnya kalangan generasi muda dalam menjaga bahasa dan negara.

Abstract

RÉSUMÉ.  La maîtrise du vocabulaire ou compétence lexicale joue un rôle important dans l'acquisition du langage. Cette présente étude vise à concevoir et développer un dictionnaire thématique et illustré indonésien-français pour contribuer à l'apprentissage de la langue française en Indonésie comme une solution aux difficultés lexicales des élèves. L'étude est menée selon la méthode RD (Recherche et Développement) qui commence par la réalisation d'une analyse des besoins. L'étude a analysé les données de l'enquête et a appris que presque tous les étudiants ont des difficultés à maîtriser le vocabulaire et ont besoin de médias indépendants et innovants. Ainsi, la conception et le développement d'un dictionnaire thématique et illustré indonésien-français sont jugés nécessaires comme support d'apprentissage. La découverte montre que le dictionnaire développé peut être un solutionneur de problèmes pour les difficultés lexicales. Ce dictionnaire est également considéré comme attrayant et facile à utiliser. La faiblesse de ce dictionnaire est le nombre d'entrées moins étendues. Mots-clés : design, développement, dictionnaire, indonésien, français, illustré, thématique ABSTRACT.  Mastering vocabulary or lexical competence plays an important role in language acquisition. This present study aims to design and develop a thematic and illustrated Indonesian-French dictionary to contribute to French language learning in Indonesia as one solution to students' lexical difficulties. The study is conducted using the RD (Research and Development) method, which begins with conducting a needs analysis. The study analyzed the survey data and learned that almost all the students have difficulties mastering the vocabulary and need independent and innovative media. Thus, the design and development of a thematic and illustrated Indonesian-French dictionary are considered necessary as a learning medium. The finding shows that the dictionary developed can be a problem solver for lexical difficulties. This dictionary is also considered attractive and easy to use. Abstract

Penelitian ini berupaya untuk menjelaskan perbandingan penggunaan bahasa Sunda di daerah Ciamis dan Majalengka, Jawa Barat. Sebagai sebuah fenomena bahasa, bahasa Sunda memiliki kekhasan yang berbeda di setiap daerahnya. Meski begitu, bahasa Sunda hanya memiliki satu bahasa lulugu yang dirancang sebagai alat komunikasi antar banyak penutur berbeda. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik angket, yaitu menyebarkan angket ke 39 mahasiswa UPI yang berasal dari daerah Majalengka dan Ciamis. Hasil penelitian ini, menjelaskan penutur bahasa Sunda di daerah Ciamis dan Majalengka ternyata masih menggunakan bahasa Sunda lulugu di dalam situasi dan kondisi tertentu; lalu ditemukannya beberapa kosakata yang sama namun maknanya berbeda (homonim) dengan bahasa Sunda lulugu pada umumnya.
