Abstract

Motivation can encourage foreign language learners to always improve their abilities and knowledge. In addition, the media for learning is also needed to facilitate the process of exchanging information related to the knowledge that is being studied. This research was conducted to understand how motivation to the learning process of foreign language learners could be influenced by one of the learning media which is now developing so rapidly, namely social media. This study refers to a qualitative descriptive method by collecting data through a mixed questionnaire spread to students in universities in the area of Bandung. Based on the data obtained, it was found the fact that the respondents had the motivation of each underlying and encouraged them to learn foreign languages. In the learning process, the majority of respondents agreed that the latest social media can also encourage their motivation in learning a foreign language.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya kontak masyarakat Kota Bandung dengan masyarakat luar yang menyebabkan masyarakatnya bilingual, bahkan multilingual, termasuk pelajarnya di lingkungan sekolah yang kemudian memengaruhi timbulnya fenomena kedwibahasaan dan diglosia dalam pembelajaran bahasa termasuk bahasa Sunda. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peran kedwibahasaan dan diglosia terhadap pemahaman siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Sunda di SMA Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik survei angket dan wawancara. Sumber data dijaring sebanyak 129 responden siswa SMA di Kota Bandung dan 3 orang guru pelajaran bahasa Sunda. Hasilnya menunjukan bahwa kedwibahasaan dan diglosia berperan dalam menentukan bahan ajar, memilih metode ajar, serta dalam mempertegas materi yang kurang dipahami dengan data bahwa 84% siswa lebih mengerti ketika guru menjelaskan menggunakan bahasa Sunda-Indonesia untuk mempertegas materi.

Abstract

RÉSUMÉ Cette étude a été menée dans le but de développer un support d'apprentissage alternatif pour l'apprentissage de la civilisation française au niveau A2 sur la base du CECR. Les auteurs ont utilisé la méthode de RD pour développer ou améliorer un nouveau produit, en adaptant le modèle 4D (Thiagarajan, 1974) qui comprend quatre étapes, telles que la définition, la conception, le développement et la diffusion. L'entretien, les questionnaires et les formulaires d'évaluation ont été utilisés comme instruments pour soutenir cette recherche. Une méthode quantitative descriptive a été choisie pour analyser et décrire les données. Le résultat de cette recherche est la création d'un site web ACIF pour soutenir l'apprentissage de la civilisation française. Sur la base de la validation des experts, ce média est considéré comme un support pédagogique utilisable et contributif pour le cours de civilisation française.Mots-clés : civilisation française, support d’apprentissage, site webABSTRACT This study was conducted with the aim of developing an alternative learning aid for learning French civilization at A2 level based on the CEFR. Abstract

RÉSUMÉ.  Cette étude vise à produire des modèles d'apprentissage et des supports valides basés sur les compétences de réflexion d'ordre supérieur (HOTS) pour l'apprentissage de la compréhension écrite au niveau A2. Il s'agit d'une étude de recherche et développement (RD) portant sur le développement d'un modèle d'apprentissage des compétences de réflexion d'ordre supérieur (HOTS) assisté par des sites Google pour l'apprentissage de la compréhension écrite au niveau A2. La recherche a été menée en utilisant la méthode ADDIE (analyse, conception, développement, mise en œuvre et évaluation). Les données ont été obtenues par des techniques d'entretien, des questionnaires et des fiches de validation d'experts. Les résultats montrent que la phase de mise en œuvre du modèle comprend les phases d'activité suivantes : activation des connaissances, analyse du texte, évaluation des informations et création. Sur la base des validations, ce modèle et les supports d'apprentissage peuvent être utilisés pour l'apprentissage de la compréhension écrite au niveau A2 avec un score de 80% (mention très bien). Mots-clés : Compétences de réflexion d'ordre supérieur, Compréhension écrite niveau A2, Google sites, Modèle d’apprentissage.  ABSTRACT. This study aims to produce valid learning models and materials based on higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) for reading comprehension learning at A2 level. The work is a research and development (RD) study on the development of a Google site-assisted higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) learning model for reading comprehension learning at A2 level. The research was conducted using the ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation) method. Data were obtained through interview techniques, questionnaires, and expert validation sheets. The results show that the implementation phase of the model includes the following activity phases: knowledge activation, text analysis, information evaluation and creation. Based on the validations, this model and the learning materials can be used for learning reading comprehension at A2 level with a score of 80% (very good). Keywords : Google sites, Higher order thinking skills, Learning model development, Reading comprehension in french level A2

Abstract

RÉSUMÉ. Cette étude vise à développer des médias audiovisuels sur Instagram comme alternative à l'apprentissage du FLE en ligne pour la compréhension orale et la production orale. Cette étude a été menée en utilisant la méthode de recherche et développement (RD). Les résultats de cette recherche sont la création de médias audiovisuels sous la forme de publications de matériel, de vidéos de prononciation, de vidéos de pratique de la compréhension orale et de pratiques d'expression orale qui peuvent être utilisées et accessibles sur le site web d'Instagram [https://www.instagram.com/aylovefrench]. Les résultats de l'évaluation des experts montrent que ces supports pédagogiques ont un score moyen de 94,3 % (note " très bonne "). Par la suite, sur la base des résultats de l'évaluation des apprenants, ces supports d'apprentissage possèdent un score moyen de 79,39 % (mention " bien "). Par conséquent, ces supports sont considérés comme des aides pédagogiques utiles et contribuant à l'apprentissage de la compréhension orale et de la production orale au niveau A1.Mots-clés : Apprentissage du FLE en ligne, compréhension orale, production orale, niveau A1, Instagram, média audiovisuel.ABSTRACT. This study was conducted using the Research Development (RD) method. The results of this research is the creation of audio-visual media in the form of materials publications, pronunciation videos, videos to practice listening comprehension, and speaking skills practices that can be used and accessed on the Instagram website [https://www.instagram.com/aylovefrench]. The expert evaluation results show that these teaching materials have the average score of 94.3% ( " very good " rating). Subsequently, based on the evaluation results of the learners, these learning media possesses the average score 79.39% (mention "good"). Abstract

This community service activity was carried out in Bangunkarya Village, Langkaplancar District, Pangandaran Regency, with the aim to increasing the livelihood degree of rural communities. The activities carried out are increasing the capacity and participation of sheep farmers for the Ecobis 2-3-5 Program, which is a profit-sharing program for fattening sheep to meet the needs of sacrificial animals. Financial capital for fattening sheep was collected from participants using the Crowd Funding Pattern. The main targets of this activity are sheep farmers and Sheep Farmes Groups as implementers of the Ecobis 2-3-5 program. The results of this activity are (1). The Ecobis 2-3-5 Program is able to return investments accompanied by an added value of 18 percent for investors. (2). There has been a change in mindset, attitude patterns and behavior patterns towards the importance of sheep in people's livelihoods, followed by actions in efforts to improve sheep farming. (3). There has been an increase in the interest of breeders to participate in the Ecobis 2-3-5 program. Therefore, a greater investment value is needed, so that the value of the benefits can be felt by more farmer households.

Abstract

Our initial observation confirms that authentic teaching materials have not been integrated into teaching Sundanese. With this in mind, the present study aims mainly to describe authentic teaching materials for teaching Sundanese to elementary school students. A descriptive-analytical method with a qualitative approach has been employed as the method in the present research. Data were collected by inventorying authentic teaching materials from YouTube and identifying their relevance to the 2013 Curriculum (Revised edition in 2017). The data obtained is expected to be used as authentic material in the Independent Curriculum. At the time this research was conducted, the Merdeka Curriculum had already begun to be implemented in several driving schools in West Java. The authentic materials we investigated will most likely be compatible to be used as material for project-based learning on Kurikulum Merdeka. The present research has inventoried 17 types of pupuh and found that of 17 pupuh, four have content that is relevant to the teaching theme for elementary school students based on the Curriculum; 3 pupuh, Dangdanggula, Asmarandana, and Gurisa, have content relevant to the theme of second grade Basic Competence, 1 pupuh, Maskumambang pupuh, has content relevant to the theme of third grade Basic Competence. The data were then assessed for their quality based on the criteria for good teaching materials according to the judgment of experts. Selected Sundanese language teachers have been involved in the research to serve as the experts. The results of the quality test reported that the inventoried pupuh is relevant to the Basic Competence as stated in the Curriculum, can motivate students to learn, is practical to use, is useful for students, is interesting to learn, facilitate students to learn, and improves their listening skills and is following the norms prevailing in society.

Abstract

Français du Tourisme yang dalam bahasa Indonesia adalahBahasa Perancis bidang Pariwisata merupakan bagian dari kelompok mata kuliah peminatan Français sur Objectifs Spécifique (FOS) atau Bahasa Perancis untuk Tujuan Khusus. Dalam proses pembelajaran Français du Tourisme empat keterampilan berbahasa yaitu menyimak (Compréhension orale), berbicara (Production orale), membaca (Compréhension écrite), dan menulis (Production écrite) diarahkan dan disesuaikan dengan tema-tema tentang dunia pariwisata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menulis teks deskriptif brosur wisata yang berjudul Analisis Kemampuan Menulis Teks Deskriptif Brosur Wisata Mahasiswa Level B1. Selain tujuan tersebut, penelitian ini juga diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi untuk kesulitan yang dihadapi mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analitik, yang memusatkan pada pemecahan masalah yang ada pada masa sekarang, atau masalah aktual dengan jalan mengumpulkan, menyusun, mengklasifikasikan, menganalisis, dan menginterpretasikan” Surakhmad (1982: 169). Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah karakeristik kemampuan menulis teks deskriptif brosur wisata mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Perancis yang mengikuti kuliah Français du Tourisme.

Abstract

The variety of emerging digital technology platforms for learning French, including the Podcast platform, continues to increase. These platforms allow users to be able to learn independently. Therefore, it is essential to study the material presented in the media. This study focuses on analyzing the suitability of the material on the frenchblabla podcast with the CEFR curriculum and the Merdeka curriculum in order to improve French listening skills for level A1. The study employs qualitative methods in the form of descriptive analysis. In this study, researchers identified learning French for level A1 through the Frenchblabla podcast. The results of the study show that the relevance of the material presented in this podcast meets all the CEFR-based entry-level competency indicators, which are spread across different podcast episodes. This study concluded that the Frenchblabla podcast provides content that fully complies with the European Standards for Learning Foreign Languages (CEFR) and also answers the demands of the Merdeka Indonesia Curriculum for beginner levels, especially A1-A2 levels. Furthermore, the material for this podcast conforms to the Merdeka curriculum structure for Stage F. Therefore, the alignment and arrangement of the material make this podcast media have great potential as a learning aid that can improve students' French listening skills. AbstrakBeragamnya kemunculan platform teknologi digital untuk pembelajaran bahasa Prancis terus meningkat, salah satunya adalah platform Podcast. Platform-platform ini memungkinkan pengguna untuk dapat belajar secara mandiri. Oleh karena itu, penelaahan materi yang disajikan dalam media tersebut menjadi penting untuk dilakukan. Penelitian ini berfokus pada analisis kesesuaian materi pada podcast Frenchblabla dengan kurikulum CEFR dan kurikulum Merdeka guna meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak bahasa Prancis untuk tingkat A1. Peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif berupa analisis deskriptif. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti mengidentifikasi pembelajaran bahasa perancis untuk level A1 melalui podcast Frenchblabla. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa relevansi materi yang disajikan dalam podcast ini memenuhi semua indikator kompetensi tingkat pemula berbasis CEFR yang tersebar dalam episode podcast yang berbeda. Penelitian ini sampai pada kesimpulan bahwa podcast Frenchblabla menyajikan konten yang sepenuhnya sesuai dengan Standar Eropa untuk Pembelajaran Bahasa Asing (CEFR) dan juga menjawab tuntutan Kurikulum Merdeka Indonesia untuk tingkat pemula, khususnya tingkat A1-A2. Lebih lanjut, materi podcast ini sesuai dengan struktur kurikulum Merdeka untuk Tahap F. Oleh karena itu, keselarasan dan penataan materi tersebut menjadikan media podcast ini memiliki potensi besar sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak bahasa Prancis siswa.Kata Kunci: Keterampilan menyimak; kurikulum CEFR; Kurikulum Merdeka; materi pembelajaran bahasa Perancis; media pembelajaran; podcast

Abstract

Cette recherche a pour objectif d’analyser et de décrire le matériel d'apprentissage de la prononciation sur la chaîne « The Perfect French with Dylane » concernant les voyelles orales et nasales et de savoir la qualité des vidéos d'apprentissage sur cette chaîne. La méthode utilisée dans cette recherche est une méthode qualitative et la recherche a été menée en analysant les vidéos d'apprentissage de la prononciation sur la chaîne. D'après les résultats, il y a un total de 21 vidéos d'apprentissages avec 27 % (15 vidéos) de voyelles orales (/i/, /y/, /e/, /ø/, /ə/, /ε/, /œ/, /a/, /u/, /ɔ/, /ɑ/) et 11 % (6 vidéos) de voyelles nasales (/ɛ̃/, /œ̃/, /õ/, /ã/). En ce qui concerne la qualité, les 21 vidéos sont satisfaits aux critères visuels et sonores, mais dans les critères didactiques, un critère n'a pas été rempli, à savoir le critère d'adaptation et le critère de tâche, qui n'ont été remplis que par une seule des 21 vidéos.Mots-clés : Analyse, prononciation, voyelles orales, voyelles nasales, chaîne « The Perfect French with Dylane »
