Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi mesin di era modern seperti saat ini sangat berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan produktivitas dan perkembangan UKM, terutama di Desa Meranjat 1, Kecamatan Indralaya Selatan, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Salah satu usaha yang dikembangan UKM di daerah tersebut adalah produksi kerupuk. Hal penting yang dibutuhkan dalam produksi kerupuk adalah penggiling daging sebagai alat pengolah bahan pokok dari kerupuk itu sendiri. Namun, rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat terkait pengembangan mesin terutama penggiling daging menjadi kendala yang menghambat efisiensi dan efektifitas kerja dalam produksi kerupuk tersebut. Untuk itu. kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini pada dasarnya memiliki tujuan penting yaitu, memberikan pengetahuan dan motivasi terkait pentingnya ilmu rekayasa dibidang teknologi bagi pelaku UKM. Metode pelaksanaan dalam kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan alat penggiling daging ini dilakukan secara luring, setelah diberi pelatihan, para pelaku UKM dibimbing untuk menerapkan hasil pelatihan dalam rangka peningkatan kemampuan UKM dalam kegiatan teknis membuat produk dari rancangan sebelumnya. Selanjutnya, metode pelatihan yang diterapkan, yaitu; metode ceramah, metode tanya jawab, dan metode simulasi. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi kegiatan yang telah dilakukan, hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa para anggota UKM mampu memahami materi pembuatan mesin penggiling dengan baik. Sehingga pada tahap implementasi dari alat mesin penggiling tersebut dapat dikuasai dengan baik oleh tiap anggota UKM.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the effect of the experiential learning model on science learning in elementary schools, namely by looking at the achievement of science learning objectives. The method used in this study is the Systematic Literature Review method. The search results found 244 articles from 2011 to 2023, and then were gradually and systematically selected into 15 articles that were relevant to the topic of experiential learning models in elementary school learning science and true/matching criteria. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of the experiential learning model on science learning in elementary schools, as evidenced by the 15 articles studied being able to answer research questions, namely: How is the achievement of science learning objectives in elementary schools based on the results of a review of research articles on the experiential learning model?, and Does experiential learning affect the achievement of the goals of learning science in elementary schools? The results and findings in these articles indicate an increase in the achievement of science learning objectives after the implementation of this experiential learning model, namely: increasing students' curiosity and learning achievement, increasing students' motivation, Increasing students' understanding of students, improving the quality of learning, increasing the competence of students, and making learning fun.

Abstract

The low skill of teachers in making Learning Resources and Media in Indonesia as well as in Pulau Beringin District makes the quality of learning not optimal. This community service is an effort to increase teacher professionalism (Soft Skill) in making Screenscast-O-Matic-based learning media. The purpose of implementing community service is to increase the understanding d skills of teachers in making Screenscant-O-Matic-based learning media as learning resources and media for learning both online and offline. Socialization, instruction, practice, mentorship, and assessment are the methods of this community service. This training material is delivered in two phases, with the first stage concentrating primarily on supplying knowledge on items linked to the role of learning media, their use, and their use in both online and traditional classroom settings. The second stage of training focused on making learning media using Screencast-O-Matic. The target audience in this service are elementary school teachers in Pulau Beringin District, South Ogan Komering Ulu Regency (OKUS) both from public schools and from private schools. Participants of the community service program training were very satisfied with the training in making Screencast-O-Matic-based learning media.

Abstract

It is clear from the practical data on the ground that students still struggle to comprehend the materials. This may be brought on by pupils who are less engaged in the learning process or even the teacher's boring teaching style, which makes students disinterested. The purpose of this study is to ascertain the contribution of learning to the development of student character. This study's methodology combines a qualitative approach with a descriptive analytic technique. In this study, there are two different types of data sources primary data and secondary data. Direct interviews with the principal, deputy principal, deputy curriculum and instructors, students, and the outcomes of observations served as the primary data sources. In contrast, secondary data sources are gathered from the examination of records, manuscripts, and archives pertaining to the use of Active Learning in learning and its effects on enhancing students' character. According to the findings of the researcher's study, religious activities both inside and outside of the classroom are used to contain the components of the application of Active Learning in learning. According to the study's findings, students' religious, moral, and performance character are successfully shaped through the use of active learning techniques in learning.

Abstract

Culture in Indonesia is known to be very diverse, which has not been explored to its full potential. There is a variety of knowledge in culture that many people do not know about. Local wisdom can be projected into learning at school. Physics learning is often still teacher centered with students becoming passive and feeling bored because they think this learning is only based on formulas. So local wisdom is needed with physics learning to implement the concept of movement dynamics with an ethnophysical approach by involving phenomena in students daily lives to more easily understand learning. Regional dances are one of the local wisdoms that have direct contact with students at school, one of which is the Palembang regional dance, namely the Tanggai dance. This research aims to identify studies of the concept of movement dynamics in movements in the Tanggai Palembang dance. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative with a documentation study approach and the object of this research is the Tanggai dance. Data was collected using two methods, namely the training video analysis method and literature study and the observation method. The results of the research obtained a study of the concept of movement dynamics in each of the Tangai Palembang dance movements, and learning through an ethnophysical approach has the potential to be an innovation in learning that can be applied in physics learning because it is able to train students' scientific literacy to think critically through culture that is integrated into knowledge.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui strategi orang tua dalam mengatasi dampak penggunaan gadget terhadap konsentrasi belajar anak sekolah dasar. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di wilayah pemukiman asrama dan rusun mahasiswa Universitas Sriwijaya atau tepatnya di Kelurahan Timbangan Kecamatan Indralaya Utara Kabupaten Ogan Ilir Provinsi Sumatera Selatan dengan jumlah narasumber lima orang tua. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan adalah terdapat lima strategi orang tua dalam mengatasi dapak penggunaan gadget terhadap konsentrasi belajar anak sekolah dasar yaitu membatasi waktu penggunaan gadget, menyediakan tempat khusus belajar, melakukan komunikasi terbuka, pengawasan aktif dan memberikan nasihat dan contoh positif.

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) tentang sifat-sifat benda dengan menggunakan metode pemaparan pada siswa kelas III SD Negeri 05 Indralaya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus yang terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Sebelum intervensi, siswa kesulitan untuk memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) karena metode pengajaran yang terbatas. Penerapan metode peningkatan menghasilkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kinerja siswa. Temuan ini menyoroti efektivitas metode ini dalam meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi wawasan yang berharga tentang strategi ilmu pendidikan yang efektif di tingkat sekolah dasar, yang penekanan pentingnya pendekatan pengajaran yang interaktif dan demonstratif untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dan pemahaman konsep-konsep ilmiah.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran orang tua dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar anak sekolah dasar. Adapun metode penelitiann yang digunakan yaitu metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, Teknik pengumpulan data pengumpulann data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di wilayah pemukiman asrama dan rusun mahasiswa Universitas Sriwijaya atau tepatnya di Kel. Timbangan Kec. Indralaya Utara Kab. Ogan Ilir Prov. Sumatera Selatan. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan adalah terdapat lima peran orang tua dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar anak sekolah dasar yaitu peran orang tua, pentingnya peran orang tua dalam mendidik anak, peran orang tua dalam memotivasi peserta didik untuk belajar, prinsip-prinsip belajar anak, dan peran orang tua dalam Pendidikan.

Abstract

This research is a preliminary study of the need for the development of Augmented Reality- based Physics learning media on the material of Effort and Energy. The purpose of this study is to determine the initial description of the needs of Augmented Reality-based learning media on the material of Effort and Energy of High School Physics. The method in this research is descriptive quantitative. Based on the survey that has been done obtained the results that the material of effort and energy is quite difficult material with a percentage of 61, 75%, so that the development of media on the material of effort and energy is necessary, 100% of teachers agree if developed this learning media and 98% of students are interested and want to use Augmented Reality-based learning media in the learning process so that the development of this media needs to be developed.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the improvement in students' ability to understand intrinsic elements of short stories through the application of animation-based video learning media. This study employs the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, conducted in two cycles with a total of 78 students from three elementary schools. Each cycle involves the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The study results indicate a significant increase in student engagement and comprehension. In the first cycle, 57% of students achieved the Minimum Completeness Criteria (MCC), while in the second cycle, this percentage rose to 89%. The use of animated media has proven effective in enhancing students' learning motivation and their understanding of intrinsic elements of short stories, such as theme, character, and setting. It is suggested that animation-based learning media be used more frequently in literature lessons in elementary schools to boost active participation and student learning outcomes. Additionally, it is recommended that teacher training in designing and implementing animation-based media be improved to ensure optimal application in various schools. Further research is also recommended to test the effectiveness of animated media on other learning materials and to explore its impact on students' critical thinking skills and creativity in various learning contexts.
