Abstract

Mathematics learning in elementary schools often faces challenges that cause students to have difficulties in understanding mathematical concepts which leads to low learning outcomes. This study aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes through the application of differentiated learning with a group investigation model. The research method used is classroom action research. The data collection techniques used in this study are observation, documentation and tests. The results in this study show that the learning outcomes of Mathematics of mean material have increased significantly. The results of the study prove that differentiated learning can improve Mathematics learning outcomes in elementary schools, especially in mean materials and data presentation. The results of the second cycle mean material mathematics test, students who scored above 70 or were declared complete amounted to 27 people with a percentage of 81.81%. The application of the group investigation model with a differentiated learning approach can be an alternative learning strategy that is effective in improving mathematics learning outcomes. The conclusion of the study is that differentiated learning by applying the group investigation  model can improve mathematics learning outcomes in elementary schools.

Abstract

Laporan penelitian tindakan ini berfokus pada pengembangan kreativitas pada siswa kelas empat sekolah dasar melalui pembelajaran berbasis proyek dengan menggunakan seni visual wayang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi kurangnya metode pengajaran yang inovatif di sekolah-sekolah dengan memperkenalkan pendekatan tematik dalam pembelajaran. Dengan menggunakan karakter wayang visual sebagai alat pembelajaran, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana siswa dapat terlibat dan mendapatkan manfaat dari bentuk media yang unik ini. Temuan ini menyoroti pentingnya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang menarik dan bervariasi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan minat belajar siswa. Melalui pengembangan media wayang (kartun) yang terhubung dengan pembelajaran tematik, penelitian ini menunjukkan bagaimana pembelajaran dapat menjadi lebih menyenangkan dan efektif, sesuai dengan sifat alamiah siswa sekolah dasar yang suka bermain. Penelitian ini tidak hanya berkontribusi pada peningkatan kualitas pendidikan tetapi juga memberikan wawasan untuk meningkatkan pengalaman belajar siswa melalui metode pengajaran yang kreatif dan interaktif.

Abstract

The quality of teaching in elementary schools is a crucial factor that influences the early development of students. Training and mentoring for elementary school teachers are expected to strengthen teacher capacity in terms of mapping learning outcomes, learning objectives, and learning objective flows. Community service activities are carried out using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. The stages of activities that will be carried out by the community service program team are as follows: (1) giving an initial test (pre-test); (2) implementing offline community service; (3) online mentoring; (4) evaluation and reflection; and (5) giving a final test (post-test). The pre-test score with 20 participants obtained an average of 51.75, while the post-test score obtained an average of 90, so that the N-Gain score was 0.79. This value represents an interpretation of a high improvement category. Overall, this community service activity was able to improve the knowledge and understanding of elementary school teachers in Prabumulih City in mapping CP, TP, and ATP in accordance with the independent curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive learning game based on the Bamboozle Platform for the topic of Light, Sound, and Their Properties for fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 5 Indralaya. The development process follows the ADDIE model, consisting of five stages: Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Needs analysis revealed that learning media in schools are still dominated by conventional methods, necessitating digital innovations that are more engaging and interactive. During the development phase, the media was validated by media experts, material experts, and classroom practitioners. The validation results indicated that the developed learning media was categorized as "Highly Valid" with an average score of 95% and deemed "Highly Practical" by the classroom teacher with a score of 100%. After revisions based on expert suggestions, the media underwent individual and small-group trials. Student response questionnaires showed that the media was rated as "Highly Engaging" with an average score of 96.24%. The findings of this study suggest that interactive games based on the Bamboozle Platform effectively enhance student engagement and create a more enjoyable learning experience. Therefore, this media is recommended as an alternative for teaching science in elementary schools.

Abstract

Development of interactive learning based on the Canva application for food chain material for grade V of SD Negeri 02 Indralaya Utara. This study aims to develop interactive learning media that can increase students' interest and understanding of food chain material. The method used is the ADDIE development model. This method aims to develop interactive learning media for food chain material to obtain the level of validity and practicality of the developed learning media. The results of the material validity with a percentage of 94.44% which is very valid and the media validity of 89.47% with very valid criteria. The results of the analysis show that learning in grade V tends to be monotonous and less interactive, so interesting and varied media are needed. The learning media developed uses the Canva application, which offers various graphic design features to create interesting and easily accessible content. The trial of this media involved 20 students and showed very positive results, with a percentage of 95% of the student response questionnaire with very practical criteria and 100% of the teacher response questionnaire with a very valid category. The data from the trial results indicate that the interactive learning media based on the Canva application that was developed can be applied in learning at school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar melalui penerapan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). Subjek penelitian adalah 37 siswa, terdiri dari 19 siswa putra dan 18 siswa putri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar dari siklus I ke siklus II. Sebelum tindakan, ketuntasan belajar hanya mencapai 54% atau 6 siswa. Setelah penerapan CTL pada siklus I, ketuntasan meningkat menjadi 51% atau 19 siswa. Kemudian, pada siklus II meningkat signifikan menjadi 86% atau 32 siswa. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan CTL efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA pada tema 6 subtema 3 tentang pengaruh kalor terhadap kehidupan di kelas, yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbantuan Google Sites pada materi bagian tubuh tumbuhan untuk siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, lembar validasi, angket, tes, dan dokumentasi. Validasi dari ahli media memperoleh hasil presentase 91,66% termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Validasi ahli materi memperoleh hasil presentase 95,45% termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Respon guru terhadap media pembelajaran menunjukkan persentase 96,87% termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Angket respon siswa dalam uji coba individu memperoleh skor 91,66% dikategorikan sangat praktis sedangkan angket respon siswa kelompok kecil sebesar 88% pada kategori sangat praktis. Skor N-Gain yang diperoleh sebesar 0,742 menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa dalam kategori tinggi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbantuan Google Sites pada mata pelajaran IPAS untuk kelas IV sekolah dasar layak digunakan kegiatan pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the character of student cooperation through the implementation of Project-Based Learning on the topic of Indonesian cultural diversity in grade V of SDN 112 Palembang. The background of the research is based on the low cooperative skills of students as seen from the lack of active participation, communication, and responsibility in group activities. This research is a Class Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. In the first cycle, most of the students have not shown optimal cooperation character. However, after improvements were made in cycle II with an emphasis on role sharing, intensive guidance, and the use of lighter media, there was a significant increase. The results of observations in the second cycle showed that 20 students (76.9%) were in the good cooperation category, 5 students (19.2%) in the medium category, and only 1 student (3.9%) in the low category. These results are in line with several previous studies that state that the Project-Based Learning approach is effective in fostering students' collaborative skills and character. Thus, project-based learning can be used as an alternative learning strategy to build the character of student cooperation holistically.

Abstract

Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) merupakan pendekatan matematika yang pembelajaran dan penanaman konsepnya secara nyata dengan pengalaman langsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh pendekatan Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas II. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian One Grup Pretest-Posttest Design . Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tekni tes yang berupa 10 soal pilihan ganda. Teknik analisis yang dipakai meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji T menggunakan Microsoft Excel. Hasil rata-rata pretest adalah 40,9 yang termasuk katagori rendah, dan hasil posttest menunjukan peningkatan yaitu 81,3. Hasil analisis uji T menunjukan T hitung 29,05 > 2, 07 T tabel yang berarti Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Terdapat pengarauh pendekatan Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menginvestigasi dampak Pembelajaran Berdiferensiasi terhadap pemahaman siswa dalam pembelajaran IPAS di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Quasy Eksperiment dengan desain Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pretest dan posttest pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan sampel penelitian yaitu kelas IVA dan IVC SD Negeri 11 Indralaya, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis Non Parametrik dengan Uji Mann-Whitney U dan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pembelajaran Berdiferensiasi memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap pemahaman siswa, dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,021 (sig. < 0,05). Oleh karena itu, hipotesis awal (H0) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (H1) diterima. Dengan demikian, Pembelajaran Berdiferensiasi terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa pada pembelajaran IPAS di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar.
