Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemecahan masalah mahasiswa setelah dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran guided inquiry berbantuan PhET. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mixed method dengan desain embeded eksperimental model. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 35 mahasiswa pendidikan fisika Universitas Negeri Jambi yang sedang menempuh mata kuliah Fisika Dasar II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan skor kemampuan pemecahan masalah mahasiswa setelah dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran guided inquiry berbantuan PhET dengan N-gain dalam kategori sedang dan effect size dalam kategori kuat. Jika dilihat dari daya beda pretest dan posttest didapatkan nilai t sebesar 12,48 dengan signifikansi 0,000. Hasil ini menunjukkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah sebelum diajarkan dan setelah diajarkan guided inquiry berbantuan PhET berbeda secara signifikan dengan nilai posttest lebih baik dari pretest. The aim of this study is to know the ability of studentâs problem solving after studied with guided inquiry and PhET simulations. This study used mixed method with a design of the embedded experimental model to get result of research. The subjects are 35 students of physics education in Jambi University who learning basic physics. The result shows that scores of students problem-solving ability increase after learned with guided inquiry assisted PhET with N-Gain in the medium category and the effect size in the high category. If viewed from different pretest and posttest show t values 12,48 and 0,000 significance. These results indicate that skill of problem-solving before and after learned with collaborate guided inquiry and PhET significantly different with the value of posttest is better than the pretest.

Research to utilize natural polymers continues to be driven primarily by utilization as an environmental friendly energy-generating and storage material. The high porosity makes cellulose acetate (CA) a good candidate as a dielectric material as the basis of the supercapacitor device. Various dopants and compositions have been widely used, but the nano size morphological differences of the same material are rarely reported. Two types of ZnO are prepared, i.e., nanoparticles and nanorods deposited with CA and deposited on ITO glass substrate. The CA-ZnO / ITO composite film was fabricated through spin coating technique. This study focused on ZnO morphological difference on the microstructure and the dielectricity of CA-ZnO /ITO composite films. The morphology of nanoparticles and nanorods of ZnO were analyzed more detail with respect to its microstructure and dielectric properties. It is revealed that the change of ZnO morphology from nanoparticles to nanorod increase the capacitance and dielectric constant significantly from the order of the nano to the micro and decrease the dielectric loss. The dielectric constant of CA-ZnONP/ITO and CA-ZnONR/ITO are respectively of 2569 and 97159 at 100 Hz. The capacitance and dielectric loss of CA-ZnONP/ITO and CA-ZnONR/ITO reach to 69.809 nF; 678 and 2,15765 µF; 13,23 respectively.Â

Abstrak:Dalam studi ini, MPPT digunakan untuk mendapatkan output daya maksimum panel surya. Selain itu, ada rangkaian konverter buck-boost yang digunakan untuk mengatur tegangan output panel surya untuk pompa air. Buck-Boost Converter dalam sistem ini menggunakan algoritma P&O untuk mendapatkan duty cycle yang diinginkan. Sistem yang diusulkan telah diuji menggunakan simulasi Matlab / Simulink dan juga percobaan pompa air tenaga surya. Setelah pengujian, PV dapat mencapai nilai maksimum dengan iradiasi yang berbeda. Selain itu, tegangan output pada konverter dapat mengisi baterai. Sistem ini dapat menjadi solusi untuk ketersediaan air bersih di daerah terpencil yang masih belum terjangkau listrik.Abstract:In this study, MPPT is used to get the maximum power output of solar panels. In addition, there is a buck-boost converter circuit that is used to regulate the output voltage of solar panels for water pumps. Buck-Boost Converter in this system uses the P&O algorithm to get the desired duty cycle. The proposed system has been tested using a Matlab / Simulink simulation and also a solar water pump experiment. After testing, PV can reach its maximum value with different irradiations. In addition, the output voltage on the converter can charge the battery. This system can be a solution for the availability of clean water in remote areas that are not yet affordable by electricity.

This study aimed to explore the effectiveness of modeling instruction based on a system for improving student’s understanding of energy concepts on high school students. This Research was a mixed-method design with an embedded experimental model. The subject of this study was the 62 students of 11th grade, at Senior High School in Nganjuk, Indonesia. Modeling instruction based on system learning could significantly improve students' understanding of concepts better than conventional learning. Based on the calculation of the effectiveness of learning using N-gain obtained for 0.33 (medium or low medium category) for the treatment class and 0.18 (low category) for the control class. It concluded that improved students' conceptual understanding of the treatment class was better than the control class. This research also was identified student’s difficulties especially in differentiating forces and work. Students propensity to use p-prime in solving problems rather than using energy theorems.

Tanah sawah merupakan tanah khas antropogenik yang memiliki peran penting di seluruh dunia, tidak terkecuali di Indonesia. Seiring perkembangan pembangunan dan perkotaan tanah sawah menjadi beralih fungsi sehingga tercipta lingkungan sawah yang berada dekat dengan aktivitas manusia seperti industri. Upaya dalam memahami keadaan lingkungan seperti itu dapat dilakukan dengan agromagnetisme yaitu memahami sifat mineral magnetik yang terkandung dalam tanah pertanian atau perkebunan. Sifat magnetik sering digunakan sebagai indikator pencemaran dan perkembangan tanah, terutama untuk identifikasi oksida besi tanah dan sifatnya. Untuk memenuhi upaya tersebut dilakukanlah penelitian sifat mineral magnetik tanah sawah di Lawang dan Sokearno Hatta, Malang. Hasil penelitian diperoleh rentang nilai χlf 0,885 – 7,703 ×(10-6m3kg-1). Unsur yang mendominasi pada tanah sawah diantaranya Fe, Si, Al, Ca dengan nilai terendah ada pada Ca sebesar 4,5% dan yang tertinggi adalah unsur Fe sebesar 45,52%. The organometal perovskite trihalide (MAPbI3) based solar cell has attracted the attention of many researchers because it has the potential to be a third-generation solar cell that has high efficiency, flexibility and transparency. However, this perovskite solar cell is sensitive to the environment and less stable. In this study, a performance study of perovskite solar cells with the addition of magnesium acetate was carried out in the MAPbI3 synthesis process and the use of carbon electrodes. In general, the perovskite solar cell arrangement in this study consisted of ITO/TiO2 mp/MAPbI3/carbon paste. Mesoporous TiO2 (mp) coating was carried out using the screen printing method, while MAPbI3 coating was carried out with a two-stage spin coating with the addition of magnesium acetate after PbI2 coating in the first stage. The samples obtained were then characterized using an X-Ray Diffractometer (XRD). Analysis of the performance of solar cells was carried out by measuring I-V and photoresponses using a solar simulator. XRD results show that MAPbI3 film has been formed even though there is still impurity of PbI2. The resulting solar cell performance has a value of Voc equals 3.45 V and Jsc equals 0.04 with an efficiency of around 0.09 per cent. In the measurement of the response photo, the increase in time value was 7.29 s and the decay time was 34.38 s. The low-efficiency value is probably due to the absence of a layer of hole transfer materials (HTM) and the presence of PbI2 impurities. However, the stability of the photoresponse pattern against time has shown quite good results even though the response is increased or the decay is slow.DOI: 10.17977/um024v6i22021p040

Al-Quran Education Park (TPQ) is one of the places to learn that is spread in almost all parts of Indonesia. Especially for Malang and surrounding areas, the management of TPQ is still not optimal, for example TPQ in Mojosari Village, Gambiran, Kepanjen District, Malang Regency. Management that has not reached the good category needs a helping hand from the UM abdimas team, considering the UM RENSTRA which wants to realize the downstreaming of science and research results. The Abdimas team consisting of lecturers across faculties, apart from having experience in research and service, also has a real role in their respective regions regarding TPQ and takmir. The undoubted competence of the team and the additional composition of students are expected to assist the implementation of management training activities at partner TPQ. Management training is expected to improve the quality of TPQ management from several aspects, namely: finance, programs, and governance. This activity is carried out using training methods (knowledge and skills) which are carried out in a structured and periodic manner. Each activity evaluates (measures) the achievement/success of the Abdimas program. Questionnaires are provided as data collectors for final analysis. In general, activities have been running smoothly and the public is quite satisfied with the index reaching 0.75.

Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan penguasaan konsep antara kelas yang menggunakan pembelajaran Collaborative Learning disertai Socratic Questioning dibanding dengan pembelajaran fisika menggunakan pembelajaran Scientific Approach. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental design dengan menggunakan penelitian pretest-posttest control group design. Penentuan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik random cluster sampling. Dengan populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Singosari, Malang, Indonesia pada tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPA C sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI IPA E sebagai kelas kontrol. Pilihan sampel didasarkan pada penyesuaian materi yang digunakan. Pengambilan data menggunakan metode tes dan instrumen yang digunakan pada penilaian ini adalah 11 pertanyaan pilihan ganda beralasan pada materi suhu dan kalor. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis yang telah dilakukan dengan independent sample t-test didapatkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil rata-rata nilai post-test antara hasil pada kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Hal tersebut mempunya arti bahwa ada pengaruh menggunakan Collaborative Learning disertai Socratic Questioning pada penguasaan konsep.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui korelasi penalaran ilmiah dengan penguasaan konsep usaha dan energi siswa. Survey dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan instrumen tes penalaran ilmiah dan penguasaan konsep. Tes dilakukan terhadap 97 siswa SMA Negeri 1 Lawang yang telah mempelajari materi usaha dan energi. Hasil tes menunjukkan nilai rata-rata hasil tes penguasaan konsep adalah 45,59 dalam rentangan 0-100, sementara hasil penalaran siswa rata-rata 5 dari rentangan 0-13 yang dapat dikategorikan sebagai transisi awal. Penelitian menemukan bahwa penalaran ilmiah dan penguasaan konsep siswa berkorelasi positif sebesar 0,4 dengan kategori sedang. Penalaran ilmiah siswa perlu mendapat perhatian dalam rangka mendukung siswa dalam menguasai konsep fisika khususnya usaha dan energi.
