Abstract

Abstract

Universities, as esteemed higher education institutions, are increasingly recognizing their responsibility to address environmental issues and prioritize environmental conservation. This is demonstrated by the establishment of the UI GreenMetric World University Ranking by the University of Indonesia, which serves as a clear indication of the university's commitment to environmental sustainability. The objective of this study is to investigate the mutually beneficial connection between environmental strategy and green human resource management (GHRM) in terms of their impact on environmental outcomes, which is mediated by organizational citizenship behavior toward the environment (OCBE). The study will focus on 5 private universities situated in the Jakarta region. The findings demonstrated a correlation between green stewardship initiatives, which encompass both environmental strategy and green human resource management, and environmental outcomes. The direct correlation between OCBE and environmental outcomes also yields positive results. Nevertheless, the OCBE did not play a mediating role in the connection between green stewardship initiatives and environmental outcomes.

Abstract

This study systematically investigates the influence of organizational culture, leadership style, and organizational communication on organizational performance using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. These three dimensions are widely acknowledged as crucial for effectiveness and productivity. Organizational culture establishes shared values and norms that guide behavior and collaboration, while organizational communication connects structures, processes, and individuals, enabling coordination. Leadership style reflects how leaders inspire and direct subordinates toward common goals. The findings show that a strong, adaptive organizational culture, transformational leadership, and open, participatory communication are positively associated with enhanced organizational performance. The integration of these variables generates synergy in decision-making, employee engagement, and achievement of strategic objectives. Transformational leadership fosters innovation and motivation, whereas culture and communication provide the foundation for collaboration, cohesion, and sustainable outcomes. Methodologically, the study applies to a structured SLR combining bibliometric mapping and in-depth content analysis. Seventy peer-reviewed articles published between 2010 and 2024 were rigorously selected from indexed databases such as Scopus and Web of Science. The results emphasize that culture, leadership, and communication interact as reinforcing mechanisms that collectively strengthen organizational performance across diverse contexts.

Abstract

LEN Limited company is one of Indonesia's defense industries, that always tries to follow the improvement in order not to be left behind by military technology, based on government policy PP No.5 2022, which appointed PT. LEN is the leader of three government companies and all these companies will be able to support the existence of defense independence and become a company that can compete throughout the global market. However, this condition is facing some constraints (human resources, management, organization) which are handled through the transformation of the organization. This research analyzed the combination of variables that are related to transformation, where novelty is the combination of variables that are more than one or two variables in conducting the transformation. This research implemented a qualitative descriptive method with primary data (interview with PT. LEN officer within the transformation division), and secondary data (PT. LEN documents or other related literation). Research results from the analyzed data show that a combination of existing variables can be used as a strong foundation for PT. LEN transformation to be the leader of government company in a new form as DEFEND ID.
