Abstract

Universities, as esteemed higher education institutions, are increasingly recognizing their responsibility to address environmental issues and prioritize environmental conservation. This is demonstrated by the establishment of the UI GreenMetric World University Ranking by the University of Indonesia, which serves as a clear indication of the university's commitment to environmental sustainability. The objective of this study is to investigate the mutually beneficial connection between environmental strategy and green human resource management (GHRM) in terms of their impact on environmental outcomes, which is mediated by organizational citizenship behavior toward the environment (OCBE). The study will focus on 5 private universities situated in the Jakarta region. The findings demonstrated a correlation between green stewardship initiatives, which encompass both environmental strategy and green human resource management, and environmental outcomes. The direct correlation between OCBE and environmental outcomes also yields positive results. Nevertheless, the OCBE did not play a mediating role in the connection between green stewardship initiatives and environmental outcomes.

Abstract

This study explores the fundamental challenges of organizational design and their impact on organizational performance within higher education institutions in DKI Jakarta, with a specific focus on Universitas Bunda Mulia. Using a literature review approach, the research examines how organizational structure mediates the relationship between design challenges and performance outcomes. The study highlights that variations in organizational structures among universities significantly influence their performance, affecting factors such as decision-making efficiency, resource allocation, and adaptability to change. Key challenges identified include insufficient alignment between institutional goals and structure, resistance to change, and ineffective communication channels. The findings reveal that an optimized organizational design, tailored to the specific needs of the institution, can enhance operational efficiency and academic outcomes. This study also identifies the role of leadership in addressing these challenges and fostering a culture that supports continuous improvement. Recommendations include aligning the organizational structure with strategic objectives, investing in capacity-building programs, and promoting cross-functional collaboration to enhance adaptability and resilience. By addressing these challenges, educational institutions can improve their overall performance and better meet the demands of students, faculty, and stakeholders. This research contributes to the discourse on organizational design in higher education by providing practical insights and strategies for implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and test the influence of Organisational Social Capita, Attitude and Cultural Intelligence on Knowledge Sharing (KS) on educators in international schools or what is now called SPK (Cooperative Education Unit) schools. Design/Methodology of the research - Data was collected from 126 foreign and local teachers in various cities, namely Jakarta, South Tangerang, Bogor, and Pekanbaru using the online questionnaire survey method and using the Structural Equation Model method with Smart PLS to analyze the relationship between 3 independent variables: Organisational Social Culture, Attitude and Cultural Intelligence to the dependent variable namely Knowledge Sharing (KS) and test a series of hypotheses Findings: There is a significant relationship between Attitude and Cultural Intelligence towards Knowledge Sharing, while Organisational Social Capital does not have a significant influence on Knowledge Sharing. Limitations/Implications of the Research: This study assists the management of International schools (SPK (Cooperative Education Units)) in establishing human resource policies such as recruitment, placement and making training designs that can provide social skills stimulus so that knowledge sharing can occur optimally in a multicultural setting in SPK schools (International schools). For the next study, it can involve a larger number of respondents and add indicators of social interaction and team innovation that are not included in the variables studied in this study. Originality/value: This study is the first empirically to use Organisational Social Capital, Attitude and Cultural Intelligence in analyzing the relationship between knowledge sharing in international schools (SPK Schools). Further studies are needed to contribute more to the governance of educational services, especially in SPK schools in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study systematically investigates the influence of organizational culture, leadership style, and organizational communication on organizational performance using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. These three dimensions are widely acknowledged as crucial for effectiveness and productivity. Organizational culture establishes shared values and norms that guide behavior and collaboration, while organizational communication connects structures, processes, and individuals, enabling coordination. Leadership style reflects how leaders inspire and direct subordinates toward common goals. The findings show that a strong, adaptive organizational culture, transformational leadership, and open, participatory communication are positively associated with enhanced organizational performance. The integration of these variables generates synergy in decision-making, employee engagement, and achievement of strategic objectives. Transformational leadership fosters innovation and motivation, whereas culture and communication provide the foundation for collaboration, cohesion, and sustainable outcomes. Methodologically, the study applies to a structured SLR combining bibliometric mapping and in-depth content analysis. Seventy peer-reviewed articles published between 2010 and 2024 were rigorously selected from indexed databases such as Scopus and Web of Science. The results emphasize that culture, leadership, and communication interact as reinforcing mechanisms that collectively strengthen organizational performance across diverse contexts.

Abstract

LEN Limited company is one of Indonesia's defense industries, that always tries to follow the improvement in order not to be left behind by military technology, based on government policy PP No.5 2022, which appointed PT. LEN is the leader of three government companies and all these companies will be able to support the existence of defense independence and become a company that can compete throughout the global market. However, this condition is facing some constraints (human resources, management, organization) which are handled through the transformation of the organization. This research analyzed the combination of variables that are related to transformation, where novelty is the combination of variables that are more than one or two variables in conducting the transformation. This research implemented a qualitative descriptive method with primary data (interview with PT. LEN officer within the transformation division), and secondary data (PT. LEN documents or other related literation). Research results from the analyzed data show that a combination of existing variables can be used as a strong foundation for PT. LEN transformation to be the leader of government company in a new form as DEFEND ID.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to analyze the moderating role of government support policy on business performance micro enterprises in the city of Bekasi with independent variables, namely entrepreneurial orientation and market orientation. This study uses a quantitative method with a non-probability sampling approach and purposive sampling technique, where the unit of analysis is the owner/leader of micro businesses. The number of samples that can be processed is 100 respondents. The collected data is analyzed using SmartPLS version 4. The findings of this study indicate that there is an influence of entrepreneurial orientation and market orientation on business performance. Government support policy was able to moderate the influence on business performance, but was unable to moderate the influence of entrepreneurial orientation on business performance. The theoretical implication of this study is that the moderating role of government support policy is a concrete manifestation of formal institutions that function as the main external context for the business performance of micro-businesses in the city of Bekasi. The limitations of this study are that the respondents were only owners/leaders of micro businesses in the Bekasi city area, with limited variables and research methods. Further research is recommended to involve more MSMEs with a wider geographical coverage, develop a research model with other exogenous variables, and be conducted using qualitative or mixed methods research.
