Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Motivation Strategy and Leadership on Service Quality in hospitals, with Job Satisfaction as a mediating variable in the influence between Motivation Strategy, Transformational Leadership, and Transactional Leadership on Service Quality of medical personnel. This study uses a quantitative approach with non-probability sampling method and purposive sampling technique. The unit of analysis is medical personnel at military Hospital, with a sample size of 200 respondents. Data collection was done through questionnaires, and data analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with SMART PLS version 3.0. The results showed that of the 7 direct influence hypotheses, 4 hypotheses were supported, and 3 hypotheses were not supported. Meanwhile, of the 3 indirect effect hypotheses, 2 hypotheses are supported, and 1 hypothesis is not supported. Job Satisfaction is proven to be a mediating variable that strengthens the influence between Motivation Strategy, Leadership (Transformational and Transactional), and Service Quality. This study provides theoretical contributions in the field of strategic health management, as well as practical implications, such as the importance of leadership training, development of individual-based motivation strategies, and improving work environment support for medical personnel. The limitation of the study lies in the cross-sectional approach, which does not allow analysis of long-term changes. The originality of this study lies in the integration of Leadership (Transformational and Transactional) and Motivation Strategy variables in the context of a military hospital, by highlighting Job Satisfaction as a mediating variable. This study fills the gap of previous research by analyzing more deeply the influence between Leadership, Motivation, and Service Quality in the military hospital environment.

Abstract

Change management has emerged as a critical factor in enhancing organizational performance in today’s rapidly evolving business environment. Although extensive research has examined this relationship, existing literature remains fragmented across disciplines, lacking a cohesive understanding of its intellectual structure and thematic evolution. This study employs a bibliometric review of recent Scopus-indexed publications to systematically analyze trends, influential authors and institutions, key research themes, and collaboration patterns in the field. Using PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews) method, the review aims to uncover how change management practices—particularly those involving digital transformation, agile strategies, and leadership engagement—are associated with performance outcomes. The analysis is expected to reveal dominant research clusters, evolving keywords, and increasing scholarly attention to technology-driven and human-centered change approaches. By synthesizing a decade of research, this study contributes to the academic literature by offering a structured overview of the field’s development and highlighting gaps for future investigation. It also provides practical insights for organizations seeking to implement effective change initiatives aligned with strategic performance goals. The findings will support scholars in identifying future research directions and assist practitioners in applying evidence-based change management strategies across diverse organizational contexts.

Abstract

This study investigates the dynamic relationship between strategic leadership and organizational performance through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of 22 peer-reviewed articles published between 2015 and 2025. It highlights how strategic leadership influences organizational outcomes through mediating factors such as innovation capability, identity framing, digital readiness, emotional intelligence, and perceived organizational support. Using the PRISMA protocol and Scopus-indexed sources, the review combines bibliometric mapping and thematic synthesis to reveal conceptual linkages, thematic clusters, and methodological gaps in the existing literature. Findings suggest that strategic leadership plays a pivotal role not only in setting organizational direction and driving innovation intensity but also in cultivating adaptive, inclusive cultures amid uncertainty. The study culminates in an integrative conceptual framework that redefines strategic leadership as a multidimensional catalyst for sustainable performance, offering a consolidated theoretical foundation and actionable guidance for scholars and practitioners navigating the VUCA business landscape.

Abstract

This study systematically investigates the influence of organizational culture, leadership style, and organizational communication on organizational performance using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. These three dimensions are widely acknowledged as crucial for effectiveness and productivity. Organizational culture establishes shared values and norms that guide behavior and collaboration, while organizational communication connects structures, processes, and individuals, enabling coordination. Leadership style reflects how leaders inspire and direct subordinates toward common goals. The findings show that a strong, adaptive organizational culture, transformational leadership, and open, participatory communication are positively associated with enhanced organizational performance. The integration of these variables generates synergy in decision-making, employee engagement, and achievement of strategic objectives. Transformational leadership fosters innovation and motivation, whereas culture and communication provide the foundation for collaboration, cohesion, and sustainable outcomes. Methodologically, the study applies to a structured SLR combining bibliometric mapping and in-depth content analysis. Seventy peer-reviewed articles published between 2010 and 2024 were rigorously selected from indexed databases such as Scopus and Web of Science. The results emphasize that culture, leadership, and communication interact as reinforcing mechanisms that collectively strengthen organizational performance across diverse contexts.
