Abstract

This paper aims to determine the moderating role of political CSR in shaping a company's CSR strategies towards achieving organizational sustainability. Using a qualitative approach and case study design with a content analysis method derived through a combination of interactive and documentative analysis models. The analysis reveals that in the case of CSR programs implemented by upstream oil and gas companies on Madura Island, a strong influence of political interests significantly weakens the relationship between the company's CSR strategy and organizational sustainability.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of organizational competence, entrepreneurial orientation, and employee commitment on organizational performance, with strategic competitive advantage as a mediating variable in Indonesian Air Force Hospitals. This research aims to provide empirical insights into the factors contributing to the improvement of hospital performance in the military sector, particularly in addressing competitive challenges and resource constraints. Using a quantitative approach with primary data, the study collected responses from 152 mid-level and senior hospital leaders through a structured questionnaire. The sampling technique employed was non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling method to ensure comprehensive data representation. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square with SmartPLS 3.2.9 software. The findings indicate that organizational competence, entrepreneurial orientation, and employee commitment have a positive impact on organizational performance. Additionally, strategic competitive advantage is proven to mediate the influence of organizational competence and entrepreneurial orientation on organizational performance, while the mediation effect of employee commitment was not supported. This study contributes to the theoretical development of strategic management, particularly in organizational behavior and human resource management. Practically, the findings serve as a reference for hospital management in enhancing competitiveness and operational effectiveness through competitive advantage strategies.

Abstract

The leadership strategy at the Indonesian Army Hospital that has driven increased efficiency and quality of service, employees must also have the ability to innovate. In an increasingly complex and dynamic environment, innovation is key to maintaining and improving the quality of health services. This research aims to analyze the influence of strategic flexibility, competitive advantage, and employee innovation on organizational performance in the context of TNI Army Hospitals, mediated by strategic leadership. This research is a quantitative research method, with primary data sources, namely using questionnaires distributed directly to respondents. The sampling technique used in this study is saturated sampling (census) with individual units of analysis, specifically targeting 155 top and middle managers at the TNI Hospital. Data collection was cross-sectional using questionnaires distributed online. The data analysis method used is the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method with the help of SmartPLS version 3.2.9 software. Based on the hypothesis testing results, it was found that strategic flexibility and competitive advantage have a direct effect on organizational performance, while employee innovation does not have a direct effect on organizational performance. Other results indicate that strategic flexibility and competitive advantage have an indirect effect on organizational performance through the mediation variable of strategic leadership. The variable of strategic leadership in this study acts as a partial mediator, because the value of the indirect influence is smaller than the value of the direct influence. Therefore, strategic leadership can strengthen the influence of strategic flexibility and competitive advantage on organizational performance. But it cannot strengthen the influence of employee innovation on organizational performance.

Abstract

This systematic literature review aims to explore sustainability practices in the hotel industry, focusing on organizational factors, consumer behavior, and the role of environmental certifications. By analyzing nine peer-reviewed studies published between 2020 and 2025, the review identifies key sustainability practices, including energy efficiency, waste management, and water conservation. The findings emphasize the importance of strong management support, an organizational culture focused on sustainability, and effective employee training in driving the adoption of sustainable practices. Furthermore, environmental certifications such as LEED, Green Key, and EarthCheck were found to enhance consumer trust and influence hotel choice, though the effectiveness of these certifications depends on their clarity and credibility. The review also highlights the evolving role of consumer preferences, especially in the post-pandemic context, where health, safety, and comfort are prioritized alongside environmental sustainability. A proposed conceptual framework integrates these factors, offering a comprehensive model to understand the dynamics of sustainability in the hotel industry. The review concludes with practical and theoretical implications for hotel managers and suggestions for future research, including the need for longitudinal studies, cross-cultural research, and exploration of the role of digital technologies in sustainability efforts. Abstract

Change management has emerged as a critical factor in enhancing organizational performance in today’s rapidly evolving business environment. Although extensive research has examined this relationship, existing literature remains fragmented across disciplines, lacking a cohesive understanding of its intellectual structure and thematic evolution. This study employs a bibliometric review of recent Scopus-indexed publications to systematically analyze trends, influential authors and institutions, key research themes, and collaboration patterns in the field. Using PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews) method, the review aims to uncover how change management practices—particularly those involving digital transformation, agile strategies, and leadership engagement—are associated with performance outcomes. The analysis is expected to reveal dominant research clusters, evolving keywords, and increasing scholarly attention to technology-driven and human-centered change approaches. By synthesizing a decade of research, this study contributes to the academic literature by offering a structured overview of the field’s development and highlighting gaps for future investigation. It also provides practical insights for organizations seeking to implement effective change initiatives aligned with strategic performance goals. The findings will support scholars in identifying future research directions and assist practitioners in applying evidence-based change management strategies across diverse organizational contexts.

Abstract

This study investigates the dynamic relationship between strategic leadership and organizational performance through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of 22 peer-reviewed articles published between 2015 and 2025. It highlights how strategic leadership influences organizational outcomes through mediating factors such as innovation capability, identity framing, digital readiness, emotional intelligence, and perceived organizational support. Using the PRISMA protocol and Scopus-indexed sources, the review combines bibliometric mapping and thematic synthesis to reveal conceptual linkages, thematic clusters, and methodological gaps in the existing literature. Findings suggest that strategic leadership plays a pivotal role not only in setting organizational direction and driving innovation intensity but also in cultivating adaptive, inclusive cultures amid uncertainty. The study culminates in an integrative conceptual framework that redefines strategic leadership as a multidimensional catalyst for sustainable performance, offering a consolidated theoretical foundation and actionable guidance for scholars and practitioners navigating the VUCA business landscape.
