Abstract

Activities in the supply chain have problems related to uncertainty, to be faced in this condition the business actors need to know their performance and improve their performance. The level of best or bad performances of a company has based on the application of supply chain management in managing the business activities. The implementation of supply chain management is faced with a problem such as uncertainty of market conditions about price and quantity of supply and demand that can affect the operational activities of the supply chain. The supply chain problem also occurs in the tobacco supply chain as the plantation commodity with high economic value and the seasonal characteristic. The upstream side of the tobacco supply chain is needed to determine the performance that has been achieved. Therefore, research on the performance measurement of upstream tobacco supply chain at PR. X Malang is important. The purposes of this study are to describe the mechanism of implementation of tobacco supply chain management on the upstream side, and analyzing the performance of the upstream of the tobacco supply chain, and formulate a strategy to improve the upstream of supply chain performance. The analysis used in this study is based on the SCOR model with five core processes (plan, source, make, deliver, return) and five performance attributes (reliability, responsiveness, agility, cost, asset). This study uses 3 key informants consisting of farmers, collectors, and manufacturers with purposive techniques. The result of this study shows that the farmer performance needs an improvement based on the flexibility and TSCC (total supply chain cost) matrix performance, the collector performance needs an improvement based on TSCC performance matrix and manufacture performance needs an improvement based on the flexibility and TSCC matrix performance.

Abstract

The abundant banana plant waste in Paciran, Lamongan, East Java, poses a risk of environmental pollution, but it also contains plant nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and organic matter that have the potential to improve the chemical characteristics of Paciran Latosol. This study aims to determine how liquid and solid organic fertilizers derived from banana plant waste in Paciran affect the chemical characteristics of Latosol and to examine how the application of organic fertilizers influences spinach growth. The study employed a non-factorial completely randomized design with nine treatments and three replicates. The treatments included: No Organic Fertilizer Application (P0), Liquid Organic Fertilizer Application at 0.22 ml/pot (equivalent to 25 L/ha) (P1), 0.44 ml/pot equivalent to 50 L/ha (P2), 0.66 ml/pot equivalent to 75 L/ha (P3), 0.88 ml/pot equivalent to 100 L/ha (P4), Application of Solid Organic Fertilizer at 4.36 g/pot, equivalent to 5 tons/ha (P5), 8.72 g/pot equivalent to 10 tons/ha (P6), 13.08 g/pot equivalent to 15 tons/ha (P7), and 20 tons/ha (P8). The results of the study indicate that the application of organic fertilizer has a significant effect on increasing the pH of H₂O, organic carbon, cation exchange capacity (CEC), available nitrogen, available phosphorus, and available potassium in Latosol, as well as on spinach growth, including plant height, number of leaves, and fresh weight. The application of solid organic fertilizer at a rate of 13.08 g/pot, equivalent to 15 tons/ha (P7), yielded the best results in improving both the chemical characteristics of Latosol and spinach growth.

Abstract

Abstrak: Komunitas Puri Hijau Royo-royo memproduksi produk teh bunga telang dengan kemasan yang sederhana dan belum ada kelengkapan informasi pada kemasan tersebut. Pemasaran yang dilakukan juga masih terbatas. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan hardskill mitra dalam pengolahan bunga telang, pembuatan desain dan logo kemasan yang lebih menarik, dan pemasaran olahan berupa teh bunga telang.: mengidentifikasikan kebutuh mitra yaitu Komunitas Puri Hijau Royo-royo, melakukan pelatihan pendampingan Pengolahan Bunga Telang, melakukan pelatihan desain pengemasan dan foto produk untuk peningkatan strategi pemasaran teh bunga telang. Metode yang digunakan antara lain mengidentifikasi kebutuhan mitra, persiapan material pengabdian, pelatihan dan pendampingan, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Mitra kegiatan ini adalah anggota aktif dari komunitas Puri Hijau Royo-royo sebanyak 15 orang. Evaluasi yang digunakan menggunakan kuesioner pre test dan post test untuk mengukur pemahaman peserta. Setelah dilaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat, terjadi peningkatan pemahaman yang cukup tinggi sebesar 49% setelah pemberian materi tentang pengemasan dan pemasaran produk teh bunga telang. Kemasan dan label yang diajukan oleh tim pengabdian memenuhi harapan peserta, dan rata-rata peserta sangat setuju bahwa pengetahuan mereka bertambah setelah adanya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini. Abstract: The Puri Hijau Royo-Royo Community produces telang flower tea products with simple packaging, and there is no complete information on the packaging. The marketing carried out is limited. This community service aims to increase partners' knowledge and hard skills in processing butterfly pea flowers, creating more attractive packaging designs and logos, and marketing processed telang flower tea. The methods used include identifying partner needs, preparing service materials, training-mentoring, and evaluating activities. The partners for this activity are 15 active members of the Puri Hijau Royo-Royo community. The evaluation used pre-test and post-test questionnaires to measure participants' understanding. After carrying out community service activities, there was a fairly high increase in understanding of 49% after providing material on packaging and marketing of butterfly pea flower tea products. The packaging and labels proposed by the service team met the participants' expectations, and on average, the participants strongly agreed that their knowledge had increased after this community service activity.
