Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain whether or not the creation of electronic modules (e-modules) based on flipbooks that focus on aspects of logistics and business operations is a viable option. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. The subjects of this review comprised of three validators (material specialists, etymologists, and media specialists), and 71 understudies of class X Office Management and Business Services (MPLB). Observation and a questionnaire were used for data collection. Validation and practicality tests were the methods of data analysis used. Material experts passed the validation test with a score of 98%, which was considered very feasible; language experts passed with a score of 88%, which was considered very feasible; and media experts passed with a score of 80%, which was considered very feasible. During the practicality test that 71 students in class X took, MPLB went through three stages of trials: one-on-one evaluation, small group trials, and large group trials. The aftereffects of this innovative work demonstrate that the Flipbook-Put together E-module with respect to Business and Operations Administration Components is pronounced truly achievable and reasonable for use in learning.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the effect of self-regulated learning and learning interest in student learning outcomes. This research was conducted at Public Vocational High Schools 10 Jakarta in the early year 2023/2024 with a population of class X and XI majoring in Office Management and Business Services (MPLB) of 144 students. The sample used in this research consisted of 106 students using proportional random sampling techniques. The Learning Outcome variable data uses secondary data, while the Self-Regulated Learning and Learning Interest variable data uses primary data using a Likert scale model. The analysis technique for this research consists of instrumental tests (validity and reliability), analysis prerequisite tests (normality and linearity tests), classical assumption tests (multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity), and Multiple Regression Analysis (simultaneous F test, partial T test and coefficient of determination). The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence between self-regulation learning and learning outcomes, learning interest influences learning outcomes, and self-regulated learning and learning interest both influence learning outcomes simultaneously.

Abstract

A student's ability to learn is influenced by a number of variables, including personal characteristics and the surrounding environment. The purpose of this study was to see how learning facilities, computer self-efficacy, and learning discipline affect student learning outcomes in computer accounting subjects. A total of 252 grade XII accounting students at a State Vocational High School in West Jakarta participated in the quantitative research design. 155 respondents were randomly selected to be samples and filled out a questionnaire that served as a data collection tool. Multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination, t-test, and f-test were used in the data analysis process. The findings of the study indicate that, together, learning discipline, computer self-efficacy, and learning facilities have a positive and significant effect on students' computer accounting learning outcomes. The effect of learning discipline, learning facilities, and computer self-efficacy on computer accounting learning outcomes is also significant partially. Based on these results, it is recommended to optimize learning facilities, learning discipline, and improve students' computer self-efficacy in order to improve computer accounting learning outcomes.

Abstract

The interest of vocational high school students to continue their education to college is still relatively low. This study aims to determine the effect of learning motivation and self-potential on the interest in continuing their education to college in grade XII students at public vocational high schools in East Jakarta, Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The research sample was taken using the proportional random sampling technique with the Slovin formula, resulting in 105 samples. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire using a Likert scale. The data analysis techniques used were normality test, linearity test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and multiple regression analysis test. The results showed that learning motivation had a positive and significant effect on the interest in continuing their education to college. Self-potential had a positive and significant effect on the interest in continuing their education to college, and learning motivation and self-potential together had a positive effect on the interest in continuing their education to college, this shows that the higher the learning motivation and self-potential, the greater the possibility of students having an interest in continuing their education to college.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of Operating Cash Flow, Accounting Profit, and Company Size on Stock Returns. The data collection method employed in this research is the documentation study method. The population in this study comprises basic material companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2020-2021, totaling 88 companies. Data were obtained by collecting annual financial report data from company websites on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This research utilizes purposive sampling techniques, resulting in a sample of 52 companies that meet the specified criteria. Data analysis techniques employed include multiple linear regression analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, prerequisite analysis tests, classic assumption tests, and hypothesis testing. Multiple linear regression analysis reveals relationships among the variables. Descriptive statistical analysis provides an overview of each variable. Prerequisite analysis tests confirm the normal distribution of data. Classic assumption tests confirm that the data are acceptable. The research findings indicate that company size has a positive influence on stock returns, while operating cash flow and accounting profit do not significantly affect the company's value. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination in this study is 1.5%, indicating the ability of operating cash flow, accounting profit, and company size to influence stock returns, while the remainder is influenced by other unexamined factors. This research aims to enhance future company value and suggests that future researchers explore different indicators or company size factors that affect stock returns.

Data were collected through distributing questionnaires and collecting daily test scores at vocational schools that have office management majors in North Jakarta. The study population involved 212 students from six classes in three schools, with a sample of 195 students selected through proportional sampling method. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Square (PLS) technique. The results showed that learning styles have a significant positive effect on learning outcomes in entrepreneurial creative product subjects. The more appropriate the application of learning styles, the better the learning outcomes achieved. School facilities are also proven to have a positive effect on learning outcomes. Thus, schools have an important role in improving facilities and understanding variations in student learning styles.

Abstract

Higher education institutions are under increasing pressure to produce globally competitive graduates by significantly increasing their research output and scientific publications, thus strengthening and enhancing their academic reputation and social impact. Yet, lecturers and students at the service location must gain skills in research-supporting software, scientific writing, and literature searching. Therefore, the State University of Jakarta and the University Malaysia Sabah jointly organize a research boot camp to address the rising demand for research competence and international publications in higher education by equipping participants with essential research skills. The Research Bootcamp Training aims to enhance research competency among students by providing online training in accessing indexed journals, paraphrasing, grammar checking, and reference management using relevant software. This program seeks to assist students at partner institutions in writing and publishing academic articles. With this activity, more students can publish their scientific work in national and international journals indexed by Scopus and Web of Science, thus improving the quality of research in Indonesia. In addition, this activity is expected to encourage the birth of a generation of young researchers who are productive and able to produce quality scientific works relevant to current problems
