Abstract

This stdy aimed to investigate how models of problem based learning and discovery learning affected financial accounting leanring results of SMK Negeri 1 Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi Province. Using a post-test only control group design and an experimental strategy as the study technique. With a simple randomized sampling approach, this research included Class XI students majoring in Institutional Financial Accounting (AKL) at SMK Negeri 1 Kendari, resulting in a sample of Class XI1 and XI3 totaling 68 individuals. This research used the Kolmogrov-Smirnov test as the normality test; the homogeneity test was done with the variance test (f-test); the hypothesis test was done with the t-test. Whether H0: µ1 = µ2 indicates that there is no effect of the problem-based learning and discovery learning models on learning outcomes or H1: µ1 > µ2 indicates that the models have an impact on students's learning outcomes related to financial accounting, so guiding the generation of a hypothesis based on the test that will be conducted.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has provided a great opportunity to revolutionize the world of education, especially in supporting more interactive, adaptive, and effective learning. However, at the school level, the understanding and utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) among educators or teachers remain very limited. Yet, technological literacy, including the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), is an essential skill for addressing the challenges of education in the digital age. This community service program aims to enhance students' technological literacy through the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Google Suite-based learning. This activity will provide training on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) features in Google Suite, such as Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides, which can be used to support the learning process. Educators or teachers will learn to optimize Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to enhance productivity, creativity, and collaboration skills in various academic and professional contexts. The targeted outcomes include improving the skills of educators or teachers in using Artificial Intelligence (AI) for technology-based learning, the availability of digital training modules containing practical guidelines for integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into Google Suite, and the formation of a sustainable technology-based learning community that can serve as a model for other educational institutions.

Abstract

This study examines the sustainability of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs’) in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia, by assessing the combined effects of local government initiatives, digital financial literacy, and entrepreneurial competencies. The objective is to determine how these factors enhance long-term business viability in an increasingly digital economy. A mixed-method design was employed. In the qualitative phase, observations and in-depth interviews with officials from the Department of Industry and Trade explored the policy environment and SMEs’’ challenges, and themes from this stage were used to refine the survey instrument. In the quantitative phase, a structured survey of 338 SME owners measured digital financial literacy, entrepreneurial competencies, and sustainability practices. Data were analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling, including reliability and validity assessment, model fit evaluation, and bootstrapped hypothesis testing. Results show that both digital financial literacy (β = 0.546) and entrepreneurial competencies (β = 0.367) significantly influence SME sustainability, jointly explaining over 70% of the variance. The region’s policy environment—through initiatives such as incubation programs, Jogja Mark, the Sibakul Jogja platform, QR code payment adoption, and training—plays an enabling role in this relationship. The findings emphasize that digital financial literacy has the stronger effect, highlighting the importance of secure payment use, budgeting, and record-keeping for resilience and growth. The study contributes by integrating local policy, digital literacy, and entrepreneurial competency into a single empirical model, offering novel evidence on how these dimensions interact to support SME sustainability. The results provide actionable guidance for policymakers to strengthen digital financial capacity and tailor competency programs to sectoral needs.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of study habits on the learning outcomes of 11th-grade Tax Administration subjects among public vocational high school students in East Jakarta. The method used is a quantitative approach, employing proportional random sampling, resulting in a research sample of 122 students. Path analysis and hypothesis testing, including the T test, were utilized for data analysis. The study's findings reveal several significant relationships: there is a positive and significant influence between learning habits and learning outcomes, as well as between learning habits and learning motivation. However, no significant influence was found between learning motivation and learning outcomes, nor between learning habits and learning outcomes through learning motivation. These results indicate that higher levels of learning habits lead to better learning outcomes, and vice versa. Similarly, stronger study habits correlate with increased learning motivation, and vice versa. The research also reveals that student learning outcomes fall into the high category, while learning habits and learning motivation are in the medium category.
