Abstract

Empowering communities and educated groups through entrepreneurial programs are positively impacting the national economy. Vocational students frequently have specialised and practical abilities that they have developed through practical training. These skills can be directly applicable to various aspects of entrepreneurship, including product development, production, technical support, and more. This study aims to prove that the big five personality traits, entrepreneurial awareness, self-efficacy, and family financial socialization have contributed to entrepreneurial intention of students. 200 data were obtained from Indonesian vocational high school students, and processed with SEM-PLS. The result proved that awareness, self-efficacy, and some indicator of the big five personality has a positive affect on entrepreneurial intention among students. While family financial socialization has no impact on it. This study is a reference for schools and policy maker to provide education on entrepreneurship for vocational students. Understanding how different types of awareness (opportunities, resources, skills) influence intention can guide the development of targeted curriculum and training methods

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurship education and income expectations on the entrepreneurial interest of students in the Administrative Economics Study Program at Jakarta State University. This study uses a quantitative method with an associative descriptive approach. Data were obtained through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the SmartPLS tool. The results show that partially, entrepreneurship education has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial interest. Income expectations also show a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial interest. Both variables are able to explain 51.7% of the variability in entrepreneurial interest (adjusted R-square = 0.517). These findings indicate that entrepreneurship education and income expectations are important factors in shaping students' interest in becoming entrepreneurs. This study contributes to the development of more contextual entrepreneurship education strategies in public universities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of family environment and entrepreneurial motivation on entrepreneurial interest of vocational high school students in East Jakarta. The method used is a quantitative survey with proportionate stratified random sampling technique based on the Isaac and Michael formula, resulting in a sample of 138 students from a total of 216 students of grades X and XI majoring in Office Management and Business Services at SMKN 40, 48, and 50 Jakarta. Data analysis was carried out using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) with the help of SmartPLS 4.0 software. The test results show that Family Environment and Entrepreneurial Motivation have a positive and significant effect on Entrepreneurial Interest. The path coefficient values are 0.495 and 0.518, respectively, with t-statistic > 1.96 and p-value 0.000. Simultaneously, both variables explain 69.4% of the variation in Entrepreneurial Interest (R-square = 0.694).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how self-confidence and parental support influence students' career decision-making in vocational high schools. Using a quantitative approach and a purposeful random sampling procedure, 118 students were selected as a sample from the 179 students who answered, as indicated by the Isaac and Michael table. Questionnaires were used to gather data, and SPSS version 21 was used for analysis.  The analysis method includes prerequisite tests, conventional assumption tests, and hypothesis testing, including t-tests, f-tests, and the coefficient of determination. The study's findings suggest that students' vocational decision-making is positively and significantly impacted, partially and simultaneously, by both parental support and self-efficacy. These results highlight how crucial student self-belief and parental participation are in fostering their preparedness for the profession.  In practice, the findings of this study can be used as a foundation or point of reference for more research.

Abstract

This research aims to empirically examine the determinants of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) disclosure. Specifically, this study analyzes the influence of governance mechanisms (proportion of independent commissioners), financial performance (profitability), and company characteristics (company size) on the level of CSR transparency. Using a quantitative approach, this study analyzes panel data from 43 energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2021-2023 period (a total of 129 observations). Secondary data were collected from annual reports and sustainability reports. The level of CSR disclosure, as the dependent variable, was measured using a 50-item index from SEOJK No. 16/SEOJK.04/2021, and analyzed using a panel data regression model. The results of the F-test (Goodness of Fit) confirmed that the regression model used in this study was fit for further analysis. However, a partial analysis (t-test) yielded nuanced findings, namely that only company size was shown to have a positive and significant effect, confirming that larger companies tend to be more transparent. In contrast, the proportion of independent commissioners and profitability were found to have no significant impact. Therefore, it can be concluded that in the context of the Indonesian energy sector, operational scale is the primary driver of CSR transparency, while the effectiveness of independent board oversight and financial capacity are not proven to be determining factors.
