Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman guru terkait perangkat pembelajaran yangdikembangkan melalui model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dan untuk mengetahui permasalahan apasaja yang dihadapi oleh guru saat mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran melalui model inkuiri terbimbing. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif dimana data dibuat dalam bentuk persentase. Sampel penelitian 10 orang guru IPA Biologi yang berasal dari 5 SMP di Balikpapan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan kurangnya pemahaman guru terkait perangkat pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri (Silabus, RPP, Handout, LKPD, Media dan Evaluasi) terbimbing dan banyaknya masalah yang dihadapi oleh guru pada saat pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran IPA Biologi mulai dari Silabus, RPP, Handout, LKPD, Media dan Evaluasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut disimpulkan bahwa 70% guru pemahaman terkait perangkat pembelajaran masuk dalam kategori kurang dan 75% guru mengalami permasalahan pada saat mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri terbimbing. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut disimpulkan bahwa perlunya mengadakan sosialisasi dan mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri terbimbing IPA Biologi SMP.Kata Kunci: Analisis, Guru, Perangkat Pembelajaran, Inkuiri Terbimbing, Biologi

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of PBL-based virtual lab learning media on critical thinking skills and science learning outcomes on the excretory system material of class VIII students of SMPN 7 Samarinda. This study was quantitative with a Quasi Experiment type of research with a pretest posttest control group research design. In critical thinking skills, the results of the N-Gain test were obtained, namely 0.53 with a moderate category and the results of the t-test with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. In learning outcomes, the results of the N-Gain test were obtained by 0.72 with a high category and the results of the t-test with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. Thus, it is concluded that the use of PBL-based virtual lab learning media has a significant effect on critical thinking skills and learning outcomes on the excretory system material of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 7 Samarinda.

Abstract

The study examines the effects of implementing the Problem Based Learning instructional approach, along with the Kipin School 4.0 application, on the academic achievement of 7th grade students at SMP Negeri 8 Bontang. The purpose of this study is to find out to evaluate the effects of implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) instructional strategy, in conjunction with the Kipin School 4.0 Application Media, on the academic performance of seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 8 Bontang. Ecology and biodiversity content for the academic year 2023/2024. The type of research used by the researcher is Quasi Experiment (pseudo experiment) with a quantitative approach. Purposive sampling technique with a sample of 66 students. The data analysis technique utilizes the independent sample t-test with a significance level of 5%. The data analysis results demonstrate a statistically significant value. The two-tailed p-value is 0.00, indicating that it is lower than the predetermined significance level of 0.05. In addition, the t-test statistic (3.674) exceeds the essential t-value (1.669). Thus, it can be inferred that implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) instructional approach using the Kipin School 4.0 program has a substantial influence on the academic achievements of 7th-grade students at SMP Negeri 8 Bontang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di bawah bimbingan Ibu Dr. Elsje Theodora Maasawet, M.Pd., dan bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penggunaan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah yang didukung oleh media virtual tour berdampak pada keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa tentang materi keanekaragaman hayati endemik di Kalimantan Timur. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode quasi eksperimen dan desain pretest-posttest control group. Dengan kelas VII C sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII D sebagai kelas kontrol, teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling. Uji independent sample t-test dengan taraf signifikasi 5% digunakan untuk analisis data. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbantu Virtual Tour terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa (0,000 0,005) dan hasil belajar siswa (0,001 0,005).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan signifikan dalam kemampuan metakognitif siswa sebelum dan setelah penerapan jurnal reflektif dalam pembelajaran Biologi di SMP Negeri 27 Samarinda. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan Desain One Groups Pretest-Posttest Control. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak di kelas VII, sementara data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan Uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank. Hasilnya menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan metakognitif siswa sebelum dan setelah menggunakan jurnal reflektif, dengan nilai p sebesar 0,000 yang mendukung hipotesis penelitian. Hal ini menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan metakognitif siswa setelah penerapan jurnal reflektif dalam pembelajaran Biologi. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam memahami efektivitas jurnal reflektif sebagai alat untuk meningkatkan kemampuan metakognitif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran biologi di tingkat SMP.

Abstract

The objective of the research is to improve the performance of junior high school science studies teacher (SMP) in implementing the Standard Process as part of National Standards of Education through Mentoring Program MGMP MKKS by applying the model of peer coaching. This research was conducted in Dinas Pendidikan Kab. Kutai Barat involving five junior high schools joined in the activities MGMP MKKS IPA teachers in Kab. Kutai Barat. Implementation of peer coaching held in five SMP: SMP Negeri 1 Bongan, SMP Negeri 2 Jempang, SMP Negeri 2 Muara Pahu, SMP Negeri 4 Sendawar, dan SMP Negeri 1 Sendawar. This research use both quantitative and qualitative approach. The research was conducted by using model of Kemmis & Mc Taggart combined with the peer coaching model developed by Ng Pak Tee. The result of this research are: implementation of peer coaching can improve the performance of teachers in the planning, implementation, and assessment of learning in the learning process, peer coaching program will increase the quality of education and learning become more meaningful for students. Abstract

The research is an experimental study of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design with a quantitative approach. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Canva application media on learning interest and critical thinking skills in science subjects at Elementary Schools Data analysis using simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS 22. The results of the multiple regression test found that the use of learning media based on the canva application had a simultaneous effect on interest in learning and critical thinking skills with atcount>ttablevalue of 3.640> 1.987, a significance level of 0.007. 1.987, the significance level is 0.000 < 0.05, the value ofFcount>Ftbelis 87.363> 3.95, and the Critical Thinking variableFcount>F table value is 65.122> 3.95, the significance level also shows 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, based on hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that the use of canva application-based learning media on learning interest and critical thinking skills partially and simultaneously has a positive and significant effect.

Abstract

This study investigates the academic performance of Grade X science students at SMA Negeri 9 Samarinda through the implementation of a Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model integrated with TPACK-based interactive multimedia. A quantitative descriptive approach with a quasi-experimental design was employed. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 9 Samarinda, a newly established school located on Jl. Lempake, which began operations in March 2024. Both experimental and control groups were administered a pretest prior to the learning intervention. The experimental group recorded a mean pretest score of 31.33 (on a scale of 10 to 55), while the control group scored an average of 19.39, with scores ranging from 7 to 38. Posttest results showed that the experimental group achieved an average score of 81.36 (range: 70–92), whereas the control group averaged 68.48, with a maximum score of 90. The significant difference in posttest outcomes indicates that the TPACK-based PjBL model had a positive impact on students' academic achievement. The study concludes that the integration of interactive multimedia within a PjBL framework can enhance students’ understanding of environmental pollution and improve science learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 9 Samarinda.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the project based learning model with digital microsite media on the critical thinking skills of class VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Samarinda. This study used a quasi-experimental design method with a non-equivalent control group design. The sample consisted of 20 students, with the experimental class using the project based learning model and the control class using the conventional model. The results showed that in the experimental class, the average pre-test and post-test scores increased from 60.35 to 86.95 with an N-Gain of 0.67. While in the control class, the average pre-test and post-test scores increased from 59.7 to 71.65 with an N-Gain of 0.29. The T-test results show that the significance value is 0.000 <0.0005 with t count> t table, so it can be concluded that the project based learning model with digital microsite media has a significant effect on the critical thinking skills of class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Samarinda on the material of classification of living things.

Abstract

Keterampilan menulis artikel ilmiah merupakan kompetensi penting bagi mahasiswa Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG), terutama dalam perannya sebagai pendidik sekaligus peneliti. Namun, banyak mahasiswa masih menghadapi kesulitan dalam menulis karya ilmiah sesuai dengan kaidah jurnal terkareditasi. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi, pemanfaatan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dapat menjadi solusi inovatif untuk mendukung proses penulisan ilmiah secara efektif dan efisien. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada mahasiswa Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG), Universitas Mulawarman dalam memanfaatkan Artificial Intelligence (AI)  untuk penulisan publikasi ilmiah. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara daring selama dua hari, tanggal 24 dan 31 Mei 2025 melalui platform Zoom Meeting. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi penyampaian materi, diskusi interaktif, dan sesi pendampingan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, mayoritas peserta menyatakan pelatihan ini bermanfaat dan mampu meningkatkan pemahaman serta keterampilan dalam menulis artikel ilmiah. Kegiatan ini juga menekankan pentingnya etika dalam penggunaan Artificial Intelligence (AI) untuk menjaga integritas akademik. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ini berkontribusi dalam pengembangan kapasitas akdemik mahasiswa secara komprehensif.
