Religious authority is an extremely wide concept which may become manifest in an infinite variety of ways. It may be embodied in certain notions, in texts, in individual, in groups of persons, and in institutions in the widest sense of the word. For this reason, if a scholar wants to write an article about religious authority, it is essential to make a conceptual breakdown of the idea in order to write meaningfully on the subject. In the present contribution I would like to study the concept of religious authority in Indonesia through the vehicle of the Islamic institution of iftÃ¢, delivering of a fatwa. In its classical form a fatwa consists of two parts: a question addressed to a scholar of Islam about a particular topic which has been addressed to him by one or more believers in order to obtain the scholars opinion about this topic from the perspective of Islamic law. This part of the fatwa is called istiftÃ¢ , while the person who raises the issue is called the mustaftÃ®. istiftÃ¢ , The second part of the fatwa is the actual answer given by the scholar, called the mufti , â fatwa -giverâ. The language of the fatwa is very formal and formulaic. In the fatwa, the mufti pronounces about issues which are of topical interest to the believer, by sang mufti referring to the standard manuals of jurisprudence. These topics often deal with ritual issues, but in principle may deal with any conceivable topic, including social and political issues or problems arising from the application and use of modern technology. In the course of time, fatwaâs issued by important mufti s have been collected and hese collections can be regarded as manuals of applied legal science. In short, it can be said that fatwa s constitute a meeting, and in many cases a compromise, between the ideals of the Holy Law, as expressed by the ulamÃ¢, and the reality of daily life, as experienced by the believers. For a study of the working of religious authority the fatwa is useful, because the fatwa is an important instrument through which the ulamÃ¢

This article discussed the problems of dowry and wisdom of dowry in marriage. Based on some of the arguments of both the Koran and the Hadits, dowry is understood as a wifeâs financial rights which are the duty of man. Dowry is classified into musamma and misil. The greatest wisdom of dowry declaration for a man is as a respect for the humanity of women. Dawry is also a symbol of husbandâs love given to his wife. Dawry is a sign of sincerity of a man being in charge and protector for wife.

The purpose of this research is to find out how regent candidate pairs build self-image through programs and policies that can attract voters' attention and increase voter presentation and how to deliver messages. This research uses a descriptive qualitative methodology, analyzes the messages of candidate pairs delivered on social media, then analyzes them using Islamic communication. that the regent's candidate pair had compiled a program that was by the voter segment. The delivery of the program was carried out through social media including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, website, the messages conveyed could be seen in the media center which collected all the messages conveyed, but the messages that have not been submitted in detail. In delivering messages, candidate pairs of regents use a pragmatic approach by making programs related to voter needs. Candidate pairs also use a rational approach by conveying messages rhetorically and rationally.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui seperti apa bentuk dialog fikih dengan realitas sosial di Kecamatan Manggala Kota Makassar, serta bagaimana pandangan masyarakat terhadap proses dialog tersebut.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan studi kasus sebagai pendekatan penelitian. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengolahan dan analisis data dilakukan dengan tiga tahapan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa agama hanya akan tinggal kenangan tatkala tidak dapat dihadirkan di muka bumi yang penuh dengan tumpukan persoalan, oleh karena itu diperlukan bentuk dialog kaidah fikih dengan realitas sosial.

This study discusses the family communication strategy in overcoming juvenile delinquency (motorcycle gang case study) in Manuba Village, Mallusetasi Subdistrict, Barru Regency, with the main problem is how the family communication strategy is used to tackle juvenile delinquency (motorcycle gang case study) and what are the inhibiting factors communication strategy for families in overcoming juvenile delinquency in Manuba Village, Mallusetasi Subdistrict, Barru Regency. Data analysis techniques, data reduction, data display and conclusion. The results showed that the strategy of family communication in overcoming juvenile delinquency in Manuba Village, Mallusetasi Subdistrict, Barru Regency was face-to-face communication with dialogue/discussion methods, role models and habits, attention and methods of advice. The barriers to communication between parents and adolescents are internal and external barriers. Internal barriers are personality factors while external barriers are environmental factors of society and excessive use of cell phones.

Saadoeddin Djambek adalah tokoh yang sangat berperan dalam memperkenalkan rumus-rumus ilmu falak yang didaptasi dari rumus astronomi. Hal yang menarik bagi peneliti adalah tentang komparasi rumus arah kiblat Saadoeddin Djambek ditinjau dari teori spherical trigonometry dalam hubungannya tentang eksistensi suatu teori lama dan teori baru dalam satu bidang kajian ilmu Penelitian ini mengukur tingkat akurasi rumus. Hal ini karena rumus dipaparkan secara sederhana dengan rumus turunan berasal dari sumber yang sama maka hasil perhitungannya juga akan sama. Dengan demikian akan tersedia opsi/pilihan rumus yang dapat digunakan dalam pengukuran arah kiblat sehingga pengukuran arah kiblat akan lebih mudah dan sederhana.

This study analyzed the application of Islamic law in the Sundanese ethnic community and explored the relationship between Sundanese social life and Islamic law. This research is qualitative research with a case study approach. The collection of data was obtained through observation and documentation. Data is described systematically and objectively, then analyzed using the content analysis method. This study concluded that acculturation and assimilation between the structure of Sundanese society and Islamic law had formed a unique characteristic of Sundanese society. It can occur because the reality of Sundanese people who have accepted Islam is due to harmony with Sundanese values. This research can be used as a model for building a harmonious relationship between Islamic law and the social structure of society. Islamic law can be applied without damaging the social structure of society. Culture, social structure, and Islamic law can be applied harmoniously. This study provided an empirical example of a harmonious relationship between the social structure of society and the application of Islamic law. Both can run simultaneously without eliminating each other.

The Mosque-based Amil Zakat Institution (LAZ) has the potential to develop zakat in Gowa Regency, the research uses the community-based research (CBR) method, which includes efforts to create solutions to problems and opportunities for developing zakat empowerment in the Regency, especially those related to strengthening the Zakat Collection Unit Mosque based. The results of the research show that the practice of implementing the functions and roles of UPZs is already running at the mosque level in the Regency, but it is not yet running following statutory regulations and UPZ institutions have not yet been formed in the majority of Mosques in Gowa Regency, so the strengthening program carried out by researchers will be on the agenda and Baznas work program to involve religious counselors

The implementation of community service is a routine agenda in the Tri Dharma of Higher Education which is carried out by UIN Alauddin Makassar lecturers to the community. The implementation involves all lecturers from various faculties and departments with the assumption that the implementation of this community service in carrying out its work programs is carried out with a multi-disciplinary approach, so that community service work programs can be carried out in various approaches according to the disciplines of the lecturers who are placed at the service location.This service was carried out in Bola Village, Bola District, Wajo Regency. This service is carried out in the fields of education, health and social development. The method applied is a method of cooperation, mutual cooperation and building network relationships with village residents in Bola Village which was compiled and planned by the team through planned programs. The position of the service team is as a driving force in the midst of society that functions as academics and the community acts as practitioners of community service activities programs in responding to the problematic challenges of community life in Bola Village, Bola District, Wajo Regency.

Implementasi pembinaaan keagamaan dan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal melalui pemberdayaan masyarakat di Kecamatan Banggae, tujuan pengabdian ini untuk memberikan pendampingan, memberdayakan masyarakat dilaksanakan selama 45 hari. Tim pengabdian masyarakat ini melakukan kegiatan persiapan dalam bentuk kegiatan awal, yaitu menyusun rancangan program kerja dalam implementasi di masyarakat.Kegiatan pengabdian ini berhasil dilaksanakan dan mendapat respon yang baik oleh masyarakat. Hasil dari KKN ini adalah mengakibatkan semakin eratnya hubungan silaturahmiantar warga tanpa memandang status sosial serta kerja sama yang terbangun dalam setiap kegiatan-kegitan yang diadakan. Mahasiswa KKN ini melakukan kegiatan di Desa Pamboborang, Kec. Banggae, Kab. Majene.Masyarakat Desa Pamboborang sangat menyambut kedatangan kami dengan baik dan berharap kami membawa perubahan melalui pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, sosial dan agama.
