Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses penguatan karakter religius siswa dan implikasinya dalam mencegah perilaku bullying di SMA Islam Terpadu (SMAIT) Daarussalaam Sangatta Utara. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program Bina Pribadi Islami (BPI) memiliki peran sentral dalam membentuk karakter religius siswa melalui kegiatan rutin seperti tilawah, muroja’ah, kultum, mutaba’ah ibadah, dan pembinaan akhlak. Nilai-nilai religius seperti keimanan, kejujuran, kepedulian, disiplin, dan akhlak mulia diinternalisasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari siswa. Penguatan karakter ini terbukti mampu mengurangi perilaku bullying verbal yang masih muncul, serta mendorong siswa memiliki kesadaran moral dan tanggung jawab sosial yang lebih tinggi. Dengan demikian, BPI menjadi pendekatan strategis dalam menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang aman, religius, dan kondusif bagi perkembangan siswa.

Abstract

This study examines the characteristics of Islamic studies through theological approaches, analyzing the methodological transformation from classical to contemporary periods. The research employs qualitative methods with library research to investigate the evolution of Islamic theological discourse. Previous studies have shown significant developments in Islamic theology, particularly in the adaptation of classical traditions to modern challenges. This research aims to analyze the methodological characteristics of theological approaches in Islamic studies and examine contemporary theological responses to modernity and postmodernity challenges. The methodology utilizes qualitative content analysis of primary and secondary sources spanning classical to contemporary Islamic theological literature. Findings reveal a paradigmatic shift from apologetic-defensive orientation to integrative-interdisciplinary approaches, while maintaining epistemological continuity through Quranic and Prophetic authority. The study identifies three distinct periods: classical (emphasizing naql and aql methods), modern (hermeneutic-contextual approaches), and contemporary (integration of bayani, burhani, and irfani methods). Contemporary Islamic theology demonstrates anthropocentric characteristics that are more responsive to societal problems while preserving doctrinal authenticity. The discussion highlights the significance of methodological continuity and discontinuity, showing how contemporary theological approaches contribute to critical, moderate, and inclusive Islamic thought capable of addressing globalization, pluralism, and religious extremism. The study concludes that Islamic theological studies have evolved toward interdisciplinary approaches that ground Islamic values in modern contexts without compromising authenticity, positioning theology as an authentic moral voice addressing contemporary value disorientation and moral degradation.

Abstract

Islamic Studies is a multidimensional academic discipline that encompasses not only theological and normative aspects, but also historical, social, cultural, and legal dimensions. Understanding Islam requires a systematic, rational, and scientific methodology to enable an in-depth and contextual analysis of its teachings. This article aims to outline the basic concepts of methodology in Islamic Studies, its scope, and both classical and contemporary approaches. Using a qualitative method through literature review, the article explores the paradigm shift in Islamic scholarship—from a predominantly theological-normative approach to an integrated framework that includes historical, sociological, anthropological, and critical hermeneutical perspectives. The authors also highlight the crucial role of methodology in addressing the challenges of globalization, secularism, and intellectual stagnation among Muslims. Reformist ideas by modern thinkers such as Mohammed Arkoun and Ibrahim M. Abu Rabi offer significant contributions in promoting a more inclusive, contextual, and interdisciplinary understanding of Islam. Therefore, the methodology of Islamic Studies plays a vital role in enhancing scholarly quality and ensuring the relevance of Islamic teachings in contemporary societal dynamics.

Abstract

Islam is continuously engaged with diverse traditions, cultures, ethnic groups, races, and civilizations, including the dynamics of modernization, which is marked by technological progress and the swift circulation of information. The purpose of this study is to explore the concepts, challenges, and critical perspectives on tradition and modernity within Islamic thought. This paper employs a literature review method with a descriptive qualitative approach, gathering data and insights from a range of references such as books, scholarly articles, journals, and other relevant sources. The results show that Islam provides a selective response based on the principle of adopting new, beneficial ideas without abandoning good old traditions. Islam encourages the use of technology for da'wah (Islamic outreach), the integration of religious curricula with science, the development of sharia economics as an alternative to capitalism, the filtering of modern ideas, and an active contribution to creating a balanced global civilization.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji bentuk kematangan sosial dan pendidikan keluarga terhadap kematangan sosial remaja yang berstatus sebagai anak tunggal. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi dalam metodenya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengalaman subjektif remaja tunggal yang berfokus pada aspek kematangan sosial. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan tiga remaja yang berstatus sebagai anak tunggal. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa remaja tunggal memiliki kemampuan mandiri dalam mengurus kebutuhan sehari-hari dan mengelola keuangan, waktu, serta barang. Pendidikan keluarga, seperti pemberian struktur, dukungan emosional, dan kebebasan, berkontribusi pada pembentukan kematangan sosial mereka. Implikasi teoritis dan praktis dari penelitian ini didiskusikan dalam konteks perkembangan remaja tunggal.

Abstract

This study employs a bibliometric analysis to explore the scholarly landscape of character education and ethical development, focusing on trends, influential contributors, and emerging themes from 2000 to 2024. Using Scopus database, the study identifies key research areas such as moral education, virtue ethics, and interdisciplinary connections with fields like psychology, philosophy, and technology. The findings highlight the centrality of foundational figures such as Kohlberg and Dewey, while emerging themes like artificial intelligence, e-learning, and sustainable development reflect the field's evolving focus. The analysis reveals geographic disparities, with the United States as a dominant contributor, and emphasizes the need for culturally inclusive approaches. Despite advancements, challenges remain in the variability of program implementation, lack of longitudinal studies, and ethical considerations in technology integration. This study provides valuable insights for researchers, educators, and policymakers to advance the field and address contemporary ethical challenges in education.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to investigate the implementation of religious character values among students and to identify internalisation models that can enhance students’ morale. Employing qualitative methods, the study adopted a phenomenological approach to comprehensively understand the process of internalising religious character values in an educational setting. This study was conducted across two senior high schools and one vocational high school in East Kalimantan Province. Moreover, data were gathered through extensive interviews, observations, and documentation, then analysed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed various efforts to instil students' religious character values, such as instilling theoretical knowledge about spiritual values, organising religious activities, fostering a religious culture in schools, integrating religious values in various disciplines, and maintaining continuous supervision. The model utilised for internalising religious character values was the structural-organic-reflective-integrative model. This model offers a comprehensive approach to enhancing students' moral development by embedding religious principles into every aspect of education. While this study has contributed to the discussion, some limitations and suggestions for future research were provided.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi implementasi nilai-nilai karakter religius di kalangan siswa dan mengidentifikasi model internalisasi yang dapat meningkatkan moral siswa. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif, studi ini mengadopsi pendekatan fenomenologis untuk memahami secara komprehensif proses internalisasi nilai-nilai karakter religius dalam konteks pendidikan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di dua sekolah menengah atas dan satu sekolah menengah kejuruan di Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, yang kemudian dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan berbagai upaya untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter religius siswa, seperti memberikan pengetahuan teoritis tentang nilai-nilai spiritual, mengorganisir kegiatan keagamaan, membina budaya keagamaan di sekolah, mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai keagamaan dalam berbagai disiplin, dan menjaga pengawasan yang berkelanjutan. Selanjutnya, model internalisasi nilai-nilai karakter religius yang diterapkan adalah model struktural-organik-reflektif-integratif. Model ini menawarkan pendekatan komprehensif untuk meningkatkan perkembangan moral siswa dengan menyelipkan prinsip-prinsip keagamaan ke dalam setiap aspek pendidikan. Meskipun studi ini telah memberikan kontribusi pada diskusi di topik terkait, beberapa keterbatasan dan saran untuk penelitian di masa mendatang telah disampaikan dalam artikel ini.How to Cite: Nursalim, E., Zurqoni, Khojir. Abstract

This research aims to understand the role of the Youth Red Cross (PMR) extracurricular in shaping helping behaviour among teenagers. This research method uses qualitative research methods through a descriptive approach. Researchers collected relevant data through various data collection techniques, such as observation, documentation, and interviews related to the PMR extracurricular program at SMP Negeri 4 Bengalon. The results of this study indicate that PMR extracurriculars have a significant role in shaping helping behaviour among teenagers. PMR programs provide basic knowledge and skills using humanitarian principles so that students are able to understand the importance of helping others and feel inspired to take action to help. Regarding the obstacles faced by the Youth Red Cross (PMR) extracurricular, there needs to be cooperation between the school, parents, and students to support the Youth Red Cross extracurricular.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis mendalam dari faktor sosioekonomi terhadap niat berwirausaha. Menyadari peran penting yang dimainkan oleh kewirausahaan dalam pembangunan ekonomi, penelitian ini menjelaskan bagaimana lingkungan sosial ekonomi yang berbeda-beda di berbagai negara membentuk kecenderungan individu terhadap usaha kewirausahaan. Melalui lensa integratif, penelitian ini mensintesiskan teori-teori dari bidang ekonomi, sosiologi, dan kewirausahaan, dengan menggunakan kerangka kerja metodologis yang kuat untuk membedah interaksi yang bernuansa antara variabel-variabel sosio-ekonomi dan niat kewirausahaan. Dengan menggunakan desain komparatif lintas negara, penelitian ini mencakup kumpulan data yang beragam dari berbagai negara, memastikan latar belakang kontekstual yang kaya untuk analisis. Penelitian ini mengoperasionalkan niat kewirausahaan secara cermat dan menghubungkannya dengan spektrum indikator sosial ekonomi, termasuk pendidikan, tingkat pendapatan, akses ke modal, dan dimensi budaya. Teknik statistik tingkat lanjut, termasuk pemodelan persamaan struktural dan analisis multi-level, digunakan untuk menyaring data, memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam mengenai hubungan sebab akibat yang terjadi. Temuan dari penelitian ini mengungkapkan variasi lintas negara yang signifikan dalam hal bagaimana faktor sosio-ekonomi mempengaruhi niat kewirausahaan. Secara khusus, penelitian ini menyoroti peran penting dari pencapaian pendidikan dan akses keuangan dalam menumbuhkan aspirasi kewirausahaan, sementara juga menunjukkan dampak yang berbeda dari norma-norma dan nilai-nilai budaya. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada literatur kewirausahaan dengan menawarkan pemahaman terperinci tentang faktor penentu sosio-ekonomi dari niat kewirausahaan dalam konteks lintas negara, memberikan wawasan yang berharga bagi para pembuat kebijakan, pendidik, dan praktisi yang bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan ekosistem kewirausahaan.

Abstract

Komite audit memainkan peran penting dalam tata kelola perusahaan yang baik dengan mengawasi proses audit internal dan eksternal. Karakteristik komite audit, seperti ukuran, independensi, keahlian, dan frekuensi rapat, diyakini memiliki pengaruh terhadap kualitas audit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak dari karakteristik komite audit terhadap kualitas audit dengan melakukan meta-analisis pada studi-studi empiris terdahulu. Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian meta-analisis untuk mensintesis hasil dari berbagai penelitian empiris yang menguji hubungan antara karakteristik komite audit dan kualitas audit. Dengan mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data dari 12 studi. Penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif tentang hubungan antara karakteristik komite audit dan kualitas audit. Karakteristik yang diteliti meliputi ukuran komite audit, keahlian akuntansi dan keuangan, independensi, frekuensi pertemuan, serta tenure anggota komite audit. Analisis data adalah analisis kuantitatif dengan menghitung nilai effect size. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan Karakteristik komite audit memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kualitas audit dengan nilai effect size sebesar 1.12 dengan kategori effect size tinggi. Temuan penelitian ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi para pemangku kepentingan dalam meningkatkan efektivitas komite audit dan kualitas audit.
