Abstract

Procrastination is a behavior that is not good or negative behavior including; neglect in completing assignments, and lack of punctuality when entering school hours. Based on the results of research in the field, it appears that there are students who take academic procrastination, procrastination conducted in the form of procrastinating in completing assignments that result in students being hampered in the learning process at school. This research uses quantitative descriptive methods. The subjects of this study were students of the State High School 1 Muara Sugihan Banyuasin Regency class XII. Based on the results of this study it can be seen that the academic procrastination of Muara Sugihan Middle School 1 Middle School students in Banyuasin Regency is in the High category with a score of 90.92. Thus the expectation of handling the problem is expected so that students can solve the problem. One way to treat the problem is counseling services

Abstract

Academic procrastination is a delay in doing something, especially in working out demands as a student, both in working on college assignments and in doing the thesis. This study aims to reveal the level of academic procrastination of the teacher and faculty of education students of the PGRI University of Palembang, who are above the eighth semester. Students above the eighth semester are indicated to experience academic procrastination, as seen from the length of the study period. Furthermore, this study also aims to uncover the different levels of academic procrastination of male and female students in doing the thesis. This research is a comparative descriptive study which will later examine differences in the level of academic procrastination of male and female gender students using the t-test formula. This research was conducted in the faculty of education and education at the University of PGRI Palembang for three months. This research instrument uses a Likert scale model with five alternative answers. The data obtained were analyzed using t-test technique. Based on the results of the study showed that 11 study programs of the academic procrastination level of the students of the teaching and education faculty of the University of PGRI Palembang were in the high category with details of 10 courses in the high category and 1 study program in the medium category. Furthermore, the results of the hypothesis test showed that the level of academic procrastination of the students of the faculty of education and education at the PGRI University of Palembang, male and female, there were no significant differences. The results of this study can be used as a basis for providing services to students so that students no longer occur in completing studies.

Abstract

Miskonsepsi Prodi BPI/BKI merupakan salah satu hal yang sudah terjadi cukup lama. Miskonsepsi terhadap prodi ini dimulai dari pemerintah dalam hal ini Kementerian Agama, PTKIN meliputi seluruh civitas akademika prodi BPI/BKI, sampai kepada pengguna lulusan. Miskonsepsi ini harus segera diselesaikan oleh semua pemangku kebijakan dan civitas akademika untuk menyelamatkan kelangsungan masa depan prodi ini, dan tentunya adalah mahasiswa dan alumninya. Beberapa bentuk miskonsepsi prodi BPI/BKI Fakultas Dakwah yang dapat dianalisis mulai dari: (1) Penamaan Prodi, (2) Struktur Kurikulum, (3) Alumni bisa jadi konselor, (4) Rumpun Ilmu, (5) Objek Praktik Spesifik (OPS).

Abstract

Konsep diri positif yang timbul didalam diri konseli bermula dari keyakinan dan pola pikir positif konseli terhadap kemampuan dan potensi yang ia miliki. Permasalahan yang ditemukan dilapangan terdapat proses layanan bimbingan konseling yang masih menggunakan metode ceramah sehingga membuat siswa menjadi bosan, maka peneliti mengembangkan e-book layanan informasi konsep diri positif untuk kebutuhan siswa agar proses layanan bimbingan konseling lebih menarik dan bisa dipahami. Model pengembangan yang dilakukan adalah ADDIE yang terdiri dari tahap analysis, design, develeopment, implementation, dan evaluation. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan pada analisis kevalidan dinyatakan sangat valid dengan sekor rata-rata 3,5 dan analisis kepraktisan dengan sekor yang diproleh dari aspek tampilan 4, aspek penyajian 4, aspek manfaat 3,9 hasilnya dinyatakan sangat praktis.

Abstract

The phenomenon of smoking in Indonesia is very concerning because it has penetrate to school children. Often found in a number of places such as stalls, terminals, or other hangout places, a group of junior high and high school students joking around while competing to smoke cigarettes. Some of the causes of students doing these acts are because they are following their friends, just trying, and to relieve stress, there are even students who have become active smokers. The aim of the researcher is to determine the effectiveness of group counseling with cognitive restructuring techniques in reducing students' smoking behavior. The type of research used is a quantitative pre-experimental design using a one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were 68 male students with a sample of 7 students of class XIII. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, documentation, and observation. The results of data analysis showed that the average pre-test result was 64.85 and the post-test average was 44.8. Obtained Zcount = -2,371 with a value of Ztable = 1,645. The results obtained showed a decrease in the average value after the post-test. Based on this, it can be concluded that group counseling with cognitive restructuring techniques is effective or significant in reducing students' smoking behavior.

Abstract

Burnout merupakan perilaku kejenuhan yang negatif yang terjadi pada diri seseorang yang diakibatkan sindrom kelelahan emosional, depersonalisasi dan berkurangnya pencapaian pribadi yang terjadi pada individu dimana diri merasa lelah dan jenuh secara mental maupun fisik yang terjadi pada siswa sebagai akibat tuntutan melakukan pekerjaan yang meningkat sehingga menimbulnya rasa malas dan mudah  jenuh dalam melakukan sesuatu pekerjaan. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada peserta yaitu siswa dan Guru di SMK N 1 Tanjung Agung mengenai burn out dan cara mengatasi burn out tersebut. Metode pelaksanaannya adalah ceramah atau seminar berupa sosialisasi, diskusi dan tanya jawab. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian didapatkan bahwa secara keseluruhan kegiatan yang telah dilaksana berjalan dengan lancar, dan kegiatan ini juga memberikan pemahaman kepada siswa mengenai burn out dan cara penangannya sehingga diharapkan siswa dan Guru mampu mencegah dan mereduksi burn out.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is intended to reveal students who are from outside the city of Padang. This research uses qualitative with descriptive method through collecting data with interviews, observation, and documentation. After the data is obtained then it is done by using the steps as follows, Data Reduction, Data Presentation, and Conclusion Drawings. The informants of this study were one person from outside the city of Padang and one person from the city of Padang. The results of this study are: 1) on indicators that discuss personal difficulties that are difficult to understand, 2) on indicators of social communication prepared about difficult time in socializing. Suggestions in this study are expected for migrants to be able to socialize well and are expected to be able to speak the new language, so that communication can continue. Abstract

Verbal aggressive behavior is a negative behavior that is often found in everyday life. Researchers found verbal forms of student behavior when communicating with friends such as taunting friends by mentioning the name of a parent, hurting a friend by calling him an illegitimate child, and speaking harshly to the teacher. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the school environment on students' verbal aggressive behavior in communication. The population of this research is VIII grade students. The research sample of 160 people were selected using the Stratified Random Sampling technique. Data analysis using correlational product moment with the results of r_count of 0.328 and r_tabel value of 0.148 or in other words r_count> r_tabel = 0.328> 0.148. This shows the influence of the school environment on students' verbal aggressive behavior in communication.

Abstract

The problem of this research is based on the large number of students entering high school on the wishes of parents, students feel wrongly entering the department because it is not in accordance with their talents, interests and potential. Furthermore, efforts have been made by the teacher for guidance and counseling in providing Holland theory career guidance services. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The informants in this study were counseling teachers and students. Data analysis in this research uses steps of data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of Holland's theory career guidance services has been going well. From the results of interviews, observations and documentation to research informants regarding the implementation of Holland theory career guidance services, it can be understood that at the planning, implementation, evaluation and follow-up stages have been going well as they should, this is evident in the existence of service program plans, materials and instruments Holland, as well as the results of the Holland instrument analysis of students who already know the personality type and direction of their career choices.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menghasilkan suatu produk media pembelajaran berupa sebuah bahan ajar e-modul pembelajaran IPA materi Bumiku dan Menjelajah Angkasa Luar siswa kelas VI Sekolah Dasar yang dapat digunakan untuk membantu guru dalam proses pembelajaran. E-Modul yang dikembangkan ini berisikan materi, teks, gambar, animasi dan video pembelajaran yang dapat membantu siswa dalam memahami pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri 138 Palembang Kelas VI A. Model pembelajaran menggunakan model Rowntree yang terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pengembangan dan tahap evaluasi. Tahap evaluasi,   peneliti menggunakan tahap evaluasi Tesmeer yang terdiri dari selft evaluation, expert review, one to one dan small group. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan walktrough, angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil kevalidan yang dinilai dari ahli materi, ahli bahasa dan ahli media dapat diperoleh hasil  91% dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil kepraktisan e-modul dilihat dari angket lembar tanggapan siswa. Pada tahap one to one didapatkan hasil kepraktisan 91% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Pada tahap small group didapatkan hasil kepraktisan 89% dengan kategori sangat praktis.
