Abstract

The advancement of technology and information makes human life easier, but at the same time it makes some humans lack morals and behave badly due to lack of socialization. Behind all the bad impacts on the development of technology, there are also positive impacts in it, such as in the field of education. One of the positive impacts is ICT (Information and Communication Technology) learning media. The purpose of this study is to determine the use of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) as a Source and Media for Modern 21st Century Learning in Elementary Schools. This research uses quantitative methods, data obtained from distributing questionnaires and through interviews. The results of the study explain that the usefulness of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) as a source and modern learning media in elementary school children is very useful and helps students in carrying out learning. The conclusion of this study explains the usefulness of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) as a source and modern learning media in elementary school children is very helpful in the learning process. The researcher realizes the limitations of this study were only conducted in elementary schools in one of the districts in West Sumatra province, the researcher hopes that future researchers can conduct the same research with a wider range in order to continue this research. Researchers also recommend to researchers who will continue to be a benchmark in conducting research related to the use of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) as a modern learning resource and media in elementary schools.

Abstract

Inclusivity is the principle that underlies a just and equal society for all individuals, including students or pupils who have hearing disabilities such as the deaf. In an effort to realize inclusivity, technological developments have opened the door to solutions that can improve the quality of life for deaf users. One of the main challenges faced by deaf users is difficulty in understanding and communicating with the outside world through hearing. This article discusses how automatic transcription applications can serve as powerful tools in supporting inclusiveness by improving the listening skills of deaf users. An automatic transcription application is software that is capable of converting spoken conversations into text in real-time. This has the potential to enable deaf users to access previously difficult-to-reach information. The use of automatic transcription applications can provide significant benefits for deaf users. Firstly, it allows pupils and students to follow conversations and presentations better, improving their listening skills. Second, users can participate more actively in various social and educational activities, feeling more confident in interacting with friends, colleagues and instructors. Apart from that, the use of this application can also help in the development of their spoken language, because students can view the transcribed text while listening to the conversation. However, there are several challenges that need to be overcome in implementing this automatic transcription application. These include accuracy of transcription, availability of appropriate hardware and software, and community understanding of the needs and rights of deaf users. Therefore, collaboration between technology developers, the deaf community, and other interested parties is important in ensuring that automated transcription applications can be used effectively to increase inclusivity for deaf users.

Abstract

Background: Climate change poses significant challenges to global food security, exacerbating issues such as land degradation, water scarcity, and crop yield variability. Agrarian law reform has the potential to enhance resilience and sustainability in agricultural practices, thereby improving food security. However, the existing agrarian legal frameworks in many countries are not adequately equipped to address the impacts of climate change. Objective: This study aims to analyze the role of agrarian law reform in enhancing food security in the context of climate change. The research seeks to identify legal gaps and propose reforms that can facilitate adaptive and sustainable agricultural practices, ensuring stable food production and distribution. Methods: A qualitative research design was employed, utilizing document analysis and comparative legal analysis. The study examined existing agrarian laws, policies, and international agreements related to climate change and food security. Data were collected from legal texts, policy documents, and reports from various countries and international organizations. Expert interviews with legal scholars, policymakers, and agricultural practitioners were conducted to gather insights on effective legal frameworks and practices. Results: The analysis revealed significant gaps in current agrarian laws regarding climate adaptation and sustainable agricultural practices. Key issues identified include inadequate land tenure security, insufficient legal support for sustainable farming techniques, and lack of integration between agrarian laws and climate policies. into their agrarian legal frameworks. Conclusion: The study concludes that comprehensive agrarian law reform is essential for enhancing food security in the face of climate change. Recommendations include strengthening land tenure security

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the school principal as a change leader, the principal's strategy as a change leader, the principal's innovation as a change leader, the factors supporting change, and the factors inhibiting change in the implementation of an independent curriculum. This study uses a qualitative approach. Research informants were selected by purposive sampling technique. The data collection process was carried out by in-depth interviews, documentation studies and field notes. Data analysis was performed with reference to the Miles and Huberman model. To ensure the validity of the data, researchers used triangulation techniques and increased the persistence of researchers in analyzing the documents they found. The conclusions of this study are: (1) the role of the principal is shown by the implementation of the independent curriculum, driving the learner-centered learning process. and provide independence to work for students and educational staff; (2) the principal's strategy is by identifying cases, conducting interviews, creating good relations, and creating an atmosphere towards students' awareness of the implementation of the independent curriculum; (3) the innovation of the school principal in carrying out P5, entrepreneurship (traditional food bazaar), voting for democracy (election for the OSIS chairman) and building body and soul (religious activities such as the Ramadan Islamic boarding school); (4) Factors supporting the school principal, namely internal factors (infrastructure and leadership of the school principal) and external factors, namely there are already 2 driving force teachers resulting from training organized by the government; (5) Obstacles from internal parties, namely: lack of teacher education, There are teachers who are inconsistent in their implementation, there are teachers who are clueless.
