Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Brand Ambassador and Digital Marketing on the purchasing decisions of management students at Tokopedia partially and simultaneously at the Faculty of Economics, Makassar State University. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach using multiple linear regression analysis method. The population in this study were active students of undergraduate management at the Faculty of Economics, Makassar State University, as many as 100 people and all of them were used as samples. The data collection technique used is by using a questionnaire (questionnaire). The results of this study indicate that partially Brand Ambassador has no influence on purchasing decisions, as evidenced by the tcount value of 0.335 which is smaller than ttable of 2.627 (0.035<2.627) and a significant value of 0.739 greater than 0.01 (0.739>0.01) , while Digital Marketing partially influences purchasing decisions as evidenced by the tcount value of 5.723, which is greater than the t-table value of 2.627 (5.723>2.627) and the significance value of 0.000 is smaller than 0.01 (0.00<0.01). Meanwhile, Brand Ambassador and Digital Marketing variables simultaneously influence purchasing decisions, this is evidenced by the statistical results Fcount of 20.388 which is greater than the value of Ftable 4.83 (20.388>4.83) and a significance value of 0.000 which is smaller than 0.01 (0.000<0.01).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work environment and job satisfaction on employee work productivity at the Pompengan Jeneberang River Basin Center. This study used a quantitative associative approach. The population was 514 employees and the sample used in this study was 52 respondents at the Pompengan Jeneberang River Basin Center using the Accidental Sampling Technique. Data collection techniques used were observation and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression using Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) software. The results of the study significantly showed that work environment and job satisfaction partially had a significant positive effect on work productivity. Furthermore, the work environment and job satisfaction simultaneously have a significant influence on work productivity.

Abstract

This research explores the importance of entrepreneurship education in enhancing students’ entrepreneurial intentions and capabilities. This study emphasizes the importance of effective entrepreneurship education that combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience, highlights the relationship between self-efficacy, attitudes towards entrepreneurship, and entrepreneurial intentions and suggests that students with higher self-efficacy are more likely to value and pursue entrepreneurial opportunities. The research approach used was quantitative. We are using sample consisted of 359 respondents who were students who had taken entrepreneurship courses and had entrepreneurial intentions or owned businesses.Data analysis technique used SEM Analysis, which employs a confirmatory model.Furthermore, findings show that participation in entrepreneurship training and literacy programs significantly increases students’ confidence in their entrepreneurial abilities, thereby increasing their intention to start a new venture. The paper concludes that by equipping students with the necessary knowledge and skills, higher education institutions can effectively reduce unemployment rates and contribute to sustainable economic growth through the promotion of entrepreneurship. This study underscores the need for a paradigm shift in how students view entrepreneurship, encouraging them to become job creators rather than job seekers, ultimately leading to a more dynamic and innovative economy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Procedural Justice on Organizational Citizenship Behaviour (OCB) through Perceived Organizational Support (POS) among hotel employees in Makassar City. The research is motivated by the declining extra-role behaviors of employees, which affect service quality, allegedly driven by perceived procedural injustice and low organizational support. Using a quantitative approach and Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), data were collected through questionnaires from employees of three- to five-star hotels. The results reveal that Procedural Justice has a positive and significant effect on both POS and OCB, directly and indirectly. Moreover, POS functions as both a mediator and a moderator, strengthening the relationship between procedural justice and OCB. The R² and Q² values indicate a high explanatory and predictive relevance, while the Goodness of Fit Index confirms the empirical adequacy of the model. These findings support the Social Exchange Theory (Blau, 1964) and Organizational Support Theory (Eisenberger et al., 1986), asserting that fairness and organizational support foster reciprocal relationships that motivate employees to engage in voluntary, extra-role behaviors. This study contributes theoretically by extending the application of social exchange theory within the hospitality context and provides practical implications for hotel management to enhance procedural justice and organizational support as strategies to improve employees’ organizational citizenship behaviour.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh stres kerja dan beban kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai pada Kantor Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Gowa. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya memahami faktor-faktor internal yang dapat memengaruhi tingkat kepuasan pegawai, mengingat kepuasan kerja merupakan indikator penting dalam mendukung kinerja organisasi secara optimal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif untuk menggambarkan hubungan antarvariabel secara empiris. Seluruh populasi yang berjumlah 64 pegawai dijadikan sampel melalui teknik sampling jenuh agar hasil penelitian mencerminkan kondisi nyata di lapangan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner berskala Likert, observasi, dan dokumentasi, yang kemudian diuji validitas serta reliabilitasnya untuk memastikan instrumen yang digunakan layak. Analisis data melibatkan regresi linear berganda, uji t, uji F, dan koefisien determinasi (R²) guna mengukur seberapa besar pengaruh stres kerja dan beban kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa stres kerja berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap kepuasan kerja dengan koefisien 0,455 (Sig. 0,000), yang mengindikasikan bahwa tingkatan stres tertentu justru dapat memicu motivasi kerja apabila dikelola dengan baik. Beban kerja juga terbukti berpengaruh signifikan dan positif dengan koefisien 0,198 (Sig. 0,000). Secara simultan, kedua variabel memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja dengan nilai Fhitung 7640,119 dan Sig. 0,000. Nilai R² sebesar 0,996 menunjukkan bahwa stres kerja dan beban kerja secara bersama-sama memberikan kontribusi sangat kuat terhadap variasi kepuasan kerja pegawai.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of economic factors on the estimated demand for Pertalite fuel at PT Pertamina (Persero) during the 2020–2024 period. The background of this research is based on the increasing consumption of Pertalite in Indonesia in line with fluctuations in fuel prices, economic growth, and population growth. The originality of this research lies in the development of an empirical model to estimate the demand for Pertalite using macroeconomic variables, including Pertalite prices, public income (GDP per capita), population, and substitute fuel prices. This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive and verifiable methods, where data is analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software. The classical assumption test showed that the model met the criteria of normality and was free of multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation, making it worthy of analysis. The regression results showed that the price of Pertalite had a significant negative effect on estimated demand, GDP per capita and population had a significant positive effect, while the price of substituted fuel had a positive but insignificant effect. A determination coefficient (R²) of 0.847 indicates that the model explains most of the variation in Pertalite demand estimates. These findings confirm that demand for Pertalite in Indonesia is inelastic because it remains high despite price fluctuations. The results of this study are expected to be the basis for the government and PT Pertamina (Persero) in formulating a strategy for pricing, subsidies, and energy distribution that is more adaptive to national economic dynamics.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of acquisition premiums in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and their impact on shareholder wealth, focusing on five major Indian deals in pharmaceuticals, retail, banking, steel, and renewable energy sectors. Potential synergies often justify acquisition premiums ranging from approximately 15% to 40% above target companies’ market values. However, market responses suggest that such premiums may not consistently result in value creation for acquiring firms' shareholders. Empirical findings reveal mixed outcomes: Sun Pharma’s acquisition of Ranbaxy led to a 9.8% share price increase within five days, while Tata Steel’s high-premium acquisition of Bhushan Steel saw only a 1.7% gain. In contrast, deals like Reliance–Future Retail and Tata Power–Welspun Power showed minimal or negative returns, despite sizable premiums. These patterns indicate that premium size alone is not a reliable predictor of post-deal shareholder wealth creation. The study concludes that M&A success depends more on strategic fit, market timing, and sectoral dynamics than on the premium offered. This analysis contributes to the broader M&A discourse by offering evidence-based insights into how premium valuations can either maximise or dilute shareholder value, aiding investors, corporate strategists, and policy analysts in deal assessment

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh beban kerja dan stres kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel mediasi pada UD. Semoga Laris Kabupaten Polewali Mandar. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 100 responden yang merupakan karyawan dari berbagai divisi. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner berbasis skala Likert dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beban kerja dan stres kerja berpengaruh negatif serta signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Selain itu, kedua variabel tersebut juga terbukti berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Di sisi lain, kepuasan kerja memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kepuasan yang lebih tinggi mendorong peningkatan produktivitas dan efektivitas kerja. Hasil uji mediasi mengungkapkan bahwa kepuasan kerja secara signifikan memediasi hubungan antara beban kerja dan stres kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa beban kerja dan stres kerja tidak hanya memberikan dampak langsung pada penurunan kinerja, tetapi juga menurunkannya secara tidak langsung melalui berkurangnya kepuasan kerja. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pengelolaan beban kerja, pengendalian tingkat stres, serta peningkatan kepuasan kerja sebagai strategi kunci dalam optimalisasi kinerja karyawan. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi UD. Semoga Laris dalam merumuskan kebijakan manajemen sumber daya manusia yang lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh work life balance dan stres kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai pada Kementerian Kependudukan dan Pembangunan Keluarga Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Secara teoretis, work life balance mencerminkan kemampuan pegawai menyeimbangkan tuntutan pekerjaan dan kehidupan personal, sedangkan stres kerja merupakan respon terhadap tekanan kerja yang dapat memengaruhi kondisi psikologis dan kinerja. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan eksplanatori dengan metode kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 96 pegawai dan seluruhnya dijadikan sampel melalui teknik sampel jenuh. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan SPSS versi 25. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa work life balance dan stres kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan baik secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai. Work life balance menjadi variabel yang memberikan pengaruh paling dominan, menggambarkan bahwa semakin baik keseimbangan antara pekerjaan dan kehidupan pribadi yang dirasakan pegawai, semakin tinggi tingkat kepuasan kerja yang mereka alami. Stres kerja juga menunjukkan pengaruh positif signifikan ketika organisasi mampu mengelola tekanan kerja melalui pembagian tugas yang wajar, dukungan atasan, serta lingkungan kerja yang kondusif. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa peningkatan kepuasan kerja dapat dicapai melalui penciptaan lingkungan kerja yang mendukung keseimbangan hidup, pengelolaan stres kerja yang efektif, dan pemberian dukungan organisasi yang memadai. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar bagi instansi dalam merumuskan strategi peningkatan kesejahteraan dan produktivitas pegawai.
