Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal angka dan penjumlahan 1–10 pada anak slow learner melalui media konkret berupa gambar buah. Metode yang digunakan adalah Single Subject Research (SSR) dengan desain A-B-A, yaitu pengamatan dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Subjek penelitian adalah satu siswa slow learner di sekolah dasar. Total observasi dilakukan sebanyak enam kali pertemuan yang terbagi dalam tiga fase: baseline (2 kali), intervensi (2 kali), dan reversal (2 kali). Hasil observasi awal menunjukkan bahwa anak mengalami kesulitan mengenali, menulis angka 1–10, dan memahami penjumlahan. Setelah diberikan intervensi, kemampuan anak meningkat secara signifikan. Anak mulai mengenali angka dengan benar, menulis angka lebih tepat, dan memahami konsep penjumlahan melalui bantuan visual. Selain itu, motivasi dan fokus belajar anak juga meningkat. Kesimpulannya, media konkret terbukti efektif dalam membantu anak slow learner memahami konsep matematika dasar secara menyenangkan dan bermakna, serta menjadi strategi pembelajaran yang sesuai untuk mengatasi kesulitan belajar, khususnya dalam numerasi awal.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the extent to which number card media can help improve children's ability to understand numbers 1–20, especially for children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The study was conducted at the Child Welfare Institution (LKSA) with a descriptive qualitative approach. The subject of this study was a child with ADHD who had difficulty recognizing and understanding numbers. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using a qualitative descriptive method using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings of this study indicate that consistent use of number card media can improve children's concentration, enthusiasm for learning, and ability to recognize and pronounce numbers 1–20. The learning process is also supported by the Picture and Picture method and LKPD which are adjusted to children's interests, such as coloring. Number card media functions as a visual tool and educational game, providing an interesting and meaningful learning experience for children with ADHD. This study recommends the application of concrete learning media as an alternative teaching strategy for children with special needs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan berbahasa anak dengan Down Syndrome dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di lingkungan Sekolah Dasar. Subjek penelitian ini adalah salah satu anak kelas II SDLB X. Jenis penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa VGA memiliki kemampuan memahami perintah sederhana (reseptif) dengan cukup baik, namun masih mengalami kesulitan dalam pelafalan, penyusunan kalimat, dan penguasaan kosakata (ekspresif). Penggunaan media visual, lagu, dan pendekatan konkret membantu meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa VGA. Kesimpulannya, strategi pembelajaran yang tepat dan peran guru yang adaptif sangat berpengaruh dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berbahasa anak dengan Down Syndrome di kelas inklusi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate how employees' stress levels are influenced by their work environment and workload. Data is gathered using a scale as part of a quantitative research methodology. After removing outliers, 94 respondents were chosen from 136 employees to make up the sample. The analysis's findings indicate that job stress, work overload, and work environment are significantly correlated (R = 0.274, p = 0.029). Significant relationships were also found between job stress and work environment (R = 0.273, p = 0.004) and between job stress and work overload (R = 0.244, p = 0.009). According to the study's findings, the primary causes of work-related stress are excessive workloads and unfavourable working conditions. Employee performance is impacted by the physical and psychological imbalances brought on by work stress. It is recommended that employers manage workload sensibly, establish a supportive work atmosphere, and encourage the use of mindful living to increase employee well-being. The focus on respondents who suffer from work-related stress and the online data collection are two of the study's limitations. As a result, it is hoped that additional research will broaden the study to include additional factors that influence work-related stress.

Abstract

Visual sensory disability is a term that refers to a person's condition who has problems or difficulties in seeing. Self-acceptance is the ability to accept everything about oneself. This study aims to analyze the stages of self-acceptance in non-congenital visual sensory disabilities. The research subjects were selected based on the criteria of informants with non-congenital visual sensory disabilities. The data collection method for this study used a phenomenological approach with observation and interview techniques. The data analysis method used was coding and triangulation source credibility testing. The results showed that each informant experienced different stages of self-acceptance. Informant A went through stages of denial, anger, bargaining, depression and finally reached acceptance. A had felt hopeless, isolated himself, and thought about ending his life, but support from his family helped him to accept the situation. Informant S went through all stages, from denial, anger, bargaining, depression, to acceptance. S showed a high spirit to recover even though he had damaged things and thought about committing suicide. Meanwhile, Informant M only went through three stages, namely denial, anger, and acceptance. Family support and sports activities really helped him to get motivation for the future, even though M felt tired and pessimistic. Disabilitas sensorik netra adalah istilah yang merujuk pada kondisi seseorang yang mengalami masalah atau kesulitan dalam penglihatan. Penerimaan diri adalah kemampuan untuk menerima segala sesuatu tentang diri sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tahapan penerimaan diri pada disabilitas sensorik netra bukan bawaan lahir. Subjek penelitian dipilih berdasarkan kriteria informan dengan penyandang disabilitas sensorik netra bukan bawaan lahir. Metode pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi dengan teknik observasi dan wawancara. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah coding dan uji kredibilitas triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setiap informan mengalami tahapan penerimaan diri yang berbeda-beda. Informan A melewati tahapan penyangkalan, kemarahan, tawar-menawar, depresi dan akhirnya mencapai penerimaan. A pernah merasa putus asa, mengisolasi diri,dan berpikir untuk mengakhiri hidup,tetapi dukungan dari keluarganya membantunya untuk menerima keadaan. Informan S mengalami semua tahapan,mulai dari penyangkalan, kemarahan, tawar-menawar, depresi, hingga penerimaan. S menunjukkan semangat yang tinggi untuk sembuh meskipun sempat merusak barang dan berpikir untuk bunuh diri. Sementara itu, Informan M hanya melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu penyangkalan, kemarahan, dan penerimaan. Dukungan keluarga dan aktivitas olahraga sangat membantunya untuk mendapatkan motivasi untuk masa depan, meskipun M sempat merasa lelah dan pesimis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas penggunaan media kartu bilangan dalam membantu pemahaman konsep penjumlahan bagi siswa tunagrahita kelas V di SLB X. Anak tunagrahita umumnya mengalami hambatan dalam fungsi intelektual yang menyebabkan kesulitan dalam memahami materi abstrak, seperti operasi penjumlahan dalam matematika. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan media pembelajaran yang bersifat konkret, menarik, serta mudah diakses oleh siswa. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa media kartu bilangan memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan pemahaman siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal penjumlahan. Media ini mampu memfasilitasi siswa dalam memahami bilangan secara visual, meningkatkan kemampuan mengelompokkan dan menghitung, serta menumbuhkan keterlibatan aktif selama proses pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, kartu bilangan dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu solusi alternatif dalam pembelajaran matematika yang lebih ramah bagi anak tunagrahita.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara kualitatif proses pembelajaran individual matematika pada siswa tunagrahita ringan di kelas 4 SLB X. Subjek penelitian adalah seorang siswa berinisial FAA yang berusia 11 tahun dan didiagnosis dengan tunagrahita ringan. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran individual yang menggabungkan media konkret, visual, dan kinestetik mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dasar matematika, khususnya penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan 1–10. FAA menunjukkan peningkatan dalam menyelesaikan soal secara mandiri, meskipun masih membutuhkan waktu lebih lama dalam mengerjakan soal cerita dan latihan penulisan angka. Temuan juga memperlihatkan bahwa keterlibatan guru melalui metode adaptif dan pendampingan orang tua di rumah berperan penting dalam membangun motivasi dan kepercayaan diri siswa. Pembelajaran yang sistematis, menyenangkan, dan sesuai karakteristik anak terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung dasar siswa tunagrahita ringan. Setelah enam pertemuan, FAA mampu menyelesaikan 80% soal penjumlahan dan pengurangan angka 1–10 secara mandiri menggunakan media konkret, meskipun masih memerlukan pendampingan dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the implementation of flashcard media in improving reading skills of children with Down syndrome at SLB Negeri Purwosari. The research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach through the stages of initial observation, planning, intervention implementation, and evaluation. The subject of this study is a second-grade student at SLB Negeri Purwosari who is 8 years old and has difficulties in reading basic words. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted qualitatively through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study showed a significant increase in students' reading ability after being given learning using flashcard media for 10 meetings. The average reading ability score increased from 35 to 73.4, covering aspects of recognizing letters, spelling words, and reading simple sentences. The conclusion of this study is that the use of flashcard media is effective in helping to improve the reading ability of children with down syndrome through a visual approach that is concrete, interesting, and in accordance with the characteristics of the special needs of students

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between sibling rivalry and authoritarian parenting style with achievement motivation among university students. The participants in this study were 80 active students from a university in Kudus City, selected through purposive sampling. The research instruments used included a sibling rivalry scale, an authoritarian parenting style scale, and an achievement motivation scale. The results showed that the correlation coefficient between the three variables (rx1,2) was 0.356 with a significance level of p = 0.005 (p < 0.01), and an effective contribution of 12.7%. This indicates a highly significant relationship between sibling rivalry (X1) and authoritarian parenting style (X2) with achievement motivation (Y). The first minor hypothesis test revealed a significant negative relationship between sibling rivalry and achievement motivation, with a correlation coefficient of rx1y of -0.239 and a p-value of 0.032 (p < 0.05). The second minor hypothesis test also indicated a highly significant negative relationship between authoritarian parenting style and achievement motivation, with a correlation coefficient of rx2y of -0.343 and a p-value of 0.002 (p < 0.01). Based on these findings, it can be concluded that there is a significant negative relationship between the variables. Both sibling rivalry and authoritarian parenting style are negatively associated with students’ achievement motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of difficulty and development of early writing skills in children with Down Syndrome at SLB Negeri X Kudus. The approach used is quantitative descriptive with a single subject, namely an elementary school student with intellectual disabilities due to Down Syndrome. Data collection techniques were carried out through structured observations during six meetings, documentation of student work results, and assessments using a scale of 1–5 on five main indicators, namely the ability to recognize letters, connect letters with sounds, copy writing, writing forms, and independence. Data were analyzed statistically using SPSS software through descriptive statistical tests and paired sample t-tests. The results showed a significant increase in students' writing skills, from a total score of 8 at the first meeting to 20 at the sixth meeting. The t-test showed a significance value of 0.000, which indicated that the difference was statistically significant. This increase was influenced by the use of visual media such as images and videos, a gradual approach (task analysis), and consistent positive reinforcement from the teacher. This study concludes that an adaptive, visual, and responsive learning approach to students' emotional needs is effective in developing early literacy skills in children with Down Syndrome.
