Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kearifan lokal mecula haroa ano laa dan mewuhia limano bhisa sebagai perwujudan sosial kohesi komunitas petani jambu mete untuk mengembangkan pertanian berkelanjutan di Kabupaten Buton Utara. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Penentuan informan dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling, di mana peneliti melakukan pemilihan secara sengaja berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditentukan dan ditetapkan berdasarkan tujuan penelitian. Informan berjumlah 36 orang yang tersebar pada 10 Desa  Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara mendalam dan pengamatan partisipatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan mecula haroa ano laa dan mewuhia limano bhisa telah menjadi praktik tradisi pertanian serta memiliki daya dukung yang kuat untuk memperkokoh kohesi sosial antar sesama anggota komunitas petani jambu mete. Praktek ini mencerminkan semangat solidaritas, gotong royong, dan saling menghormati lingkungan. Komunitas petani jambu mete terlibat aktif dalam pelaksanaan mecula haroa ano laa dan mewuhia limano bhisa sebagai bentuk partisipasi dalam mengembangkan pertanian berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi untuk pemahaman pentingnya kearifan lokal dalam membangun kohesi sosial dan jaringan sosial dalam masyarakat. Implikasi penelitian meliputi perencanaan berkelanjutan dan upaya pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam mengembangkan pertanian di Kabupaten Buton Utara.

Abstract

Ritual Piton-piton merupakan ritual yang dilaksanakan oleh etnik Jawa khususnya di Desa Labukolo ketika ada anak bayi yang berusia tujuh bulan diadakan ritual menginjakan kaki ke tanah, ritual menginjakkan kaki ke tanah merupakan suatu ritual dimana manusia wajib bersyukur kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa karena diberikan kehidupan yang lebih baik . Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk mendeskripsikan proses pelaksanaan ritual ritual Piton-Piton pada etnik Jawa di Desa Labukolo Kecamatan Tiworo Tengah Kabupaten Muna Barat (2) untuk menganalisis makna yang terkandung dalam ritual Piton-Piton pada etnik Jawa di Desa Labukolo Kecamatan Tiworo Tengah Kabupaten Muna Barat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik obsevasi (pengamatan), wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Teknik penentuan informan dalam penelitian ini dilakukan teknik proposive sampling data yang dianalisis mengunakan teknik sebagai berikut: reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ritual Piton-Piton dilaksanakan atas beberapa tahap yakni: tahap persiapan bahan: jadah dua warna, kurungan, air dan bunga, pakaian. Tahap pelaksanaa yaitu: menginjakkan kaki bayi ke jadah, dikurungi bayi, memandikan bayi menggunakan air dan bunga, dan ganti baju. Makna dari setiap tahap pelaksaan yaitu: makna dari menginjkkan kaki di Jadah agari anak dapat mengatasi kesulitan dan orang tua berharap semoga anak tersebut kelak dapat mengatasi kesulitan hidup, makna dari dikurunggi yaitu: agar bayi dapat menyesuaikan diri ke dalam masyarakat luas, makna dimandikan yaitu: agar selalu dalam lindungan Allah sarta dapat mengharumkan busana bisa melihat derajat orang tersebut serta dengan pakaian manusia dapat diketahui berbudaya dan asal mereka darimana walaupun demikian seoerang manusia akan tetap saling kergantungan satu sama lain.

Abstract

Kearifan lokal merupakan kekayaan lokal suatu daerah. Kearifan lokal memiliki berbagai macam potensi seperti dapat dikembangkan sebagai sumber ekonomi kreatif masyarakat. Kendati demikian, kearifan lokal itu belum secara maksimal dimanfaatkan dan diberdayakan sebagai kekuatan peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat. Oleh karena itu melalui kegiatan program Pengabdian KKN tematik ini dipandang perlu sebagai langkah kongktir dalam menempatkan kearifan lokal sebagai bagian penting dalam usaha pengembangan ekonomi rakyat. Adapun metode pendekatan yang digunakan dalam program ini yakni metode Ceramah, tanya jawab, partisipatif dan Fokus Group Diskusi (FGD). Ceramah sebagai langkah awal pengenalan dan pembentukan pengetahuan kognitif masyarakat. Hal tersebut dilakukan sebagai motivasi awal di dalam mengembangkan kreatifitas kearifan lokal dalam meningkatkan kualitas perekonomian masyarakat Kelurahan Benua Nirae. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh adalah masyarakat mampu memanfaatkan kearifan lokal sebagai sumber kegiatan ekonomi masyarkat yakni dengan berhasil menambah nilai tambah ubi kayu menjadi kuliner khas benua nirae. Selain itu, masyarakat pengrajin tenun dapat menciptakan inovasi produk dengan membuat baju dan kain selempang berbahan tenun.

Abstract

Kafosulino katulu in the traditional wedding procession in the Muna community is a series of activities where the newlyweds return to the woman's parents' house. The objectives of this study were (1) to determine the process of implementing Kafosulino katulu in Parigi Village (2) to find out the functions contained in Kafosulino katulu in Parigi Village. (3) To find out the inheritance pattern of Kafosulino katulu in the Parigi Village community. Research Benefits. The results showed that in the process of implementing the Kafosulino Katulu tradition there were forms of presentation, namely 1) the process of washing feet 2) The process of wearing gloves 3) Kasambu. The process of implementing Kafosulino Katulu is carried out at the final stage of the wedding ceremony. In the pattern of inheritance of the Kafosulino Katulu tradition, namely through family inheritance, direct inheritance and inheritance in performances.

Abstract

The Kaefoilaha Ndoke ritual is a ritual carried out in a garden that has been planted with various kinds of plants which are the source of the community's survival, but now it is starting to be abandoned. This study aims to describe the implementation process, function and to analyze the meaning contained in the Kaefoilaha Ndoke ritual in the garden. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that there are three implementation processes, namely, the preparation stage of tools and materials, the implementation stage such as cutting and splitting ginger, wrapping ginger using corn husks, kaefoilaha ndoke, and planting ginger. The three final stages are: storing water bottles in the kafematai and sprinkling them around the garden. There are three functions of the kaefoilaha ndoke ritual, namely preservation, religion, and the function as a lifeline.

Abstract

Traditional healing is becoming increasingly concerning, yet it remains an alternative way to heal for the Bugis tribe in Tumbudadio Village. This study aims to understand the process, analyze the function, and uncover the inheritance pattern of rawukeng (demon's spear) healing in the Bugis tribe. This study is qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interview, and documentation then analyzed using data collection techniques, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion/data verification. The results of the study show that rawukeng traditional healing is still maintained as a legacy from the ancestors of the Bugis tribe. The inheritance pattern is passed down through the family or genetics, participating in rawukeng traditional healing, learning healing techniques, and observing traditional rawukeng healing that is imitated during the implementation.

Abstract

Kapuntori is an alternative method that is believed by the Muna people as a treatment to achieve one's desires. This treatment spread among the Muna people through a process of inheritance from generation to generation by their ancestors. This research aims to find out the form and function of Kapuntori traditional medicine in the Muna community in Labone Village, Lasalepa District. This is a qualitative descriptive research with data collected through observation and interviews. Data analysis was carried out by listening to interview results, writing interview transcripts, sorting the data, and looking for relationships between functions based on the functionalism theory put forward by Malinowski. The traditional form of Kapuntori treatment carried out by Bhisa in Labone Village, Lasalepa District has a sspecific form, such as the use of water as a medium which has a cooling function and is easily absorbed by the body and is believed to be able to enter between the skin and bones in the body. Thus, a prayer that is blown into the water can be absorbed by the body immediately so that it quickly brings healing. This treatment also uses some leaves of herbal plants, namely Karuku. Kapuntori treatment has a suggestion function that aims to provide influence or views from one party (the shaman) to another party (the patient), as a result, the party being influenced will be moved to follow this influence or view and accept it directly, either consciously or unconsciously. This treatment also intends to hope for healing from Allah SWT through an intermediary of people who can cure diseases (Bhisa).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation process and meaning of the Do'omba Tradition in the marriage customs of the Muna Community in Kombungo Village, Lasalepa District, Muna Regency. The study used a qualitative research method. Data collection techniques were done by direct observation, interviews with 5 informants, and documentation. Data were analyzed in four stages, namely; (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) data presentation, and (4) concluding. The results of this study are; (1) The Do'omba tradition procession in Kombungo Village begins at the Nopali stage, then Mpali-mpali (walking) the first visit of a boy with his parents, a discussion carried out by the man's family to determine the day before leaving for a girl's house, then at the Do'omba stage where the toko or traditional delegation that has been entrusted by the man's family goes to the woman's family house according to the promise referred to at the time of Kafoepe (news bearer/promise). (2) The tradition of Do'omba/Do'ombaghomo Patudhundo (stating intentions) means Defenagho Tungguno Karete (asking the guardian of the yard), which has the meaning of a traditional meeting where the man expresses his intentions with a sincere, honest heart and his seriousness in marrying a girl with a figurative question that is beautiful to hear for the woman, namely whether or not there is a guardian/companion for the girl who is going to be proposed to.

Abstract

The Maduai Kaka' Treatment Ritual is a ritual performed by the Bajo Tribe Community in Langara Bajo Village, West Wawonii District, Konawe Islands Regency. Inheritance pattern of the Maduai Kaka' Medicine Ritual in Langara Bajo Village, West Wawonii District, Konawe Islands Regency. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection was carried out by observation, interview and documentation techniques. The technique of determining informants used purposive techniques, the data were analyzed using data collection techniques, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.The results showed that the process of carrying out the Maduai Kaka' Treatment Ritual consisted of several stages, (1) the stage of disease diagnosis, this stage was the stage of examining the disease, (2) the stage of preparing tools and materials, (3) the stage of preparing the preparation of tools and materials this is the stage of preparing the offerings, (4) the stage of carrying out the treatment ritual, finally (5) the final stage of the treatment process. The function of the Maduai Kaka Treatment Ritual for the Bajo tribe in Langara Bajo Village, West Wawonii District, Konawe Islands Regency, namely (1) to maintain traditional ritual patterns (2) for treatment and (3) to reduce expenses. The pattern of inheritance in the Madua Kaka's Treatment Ritual is obtained through traditional leaders, namely sandro/shaman who leads the maduai kaka' treatment ritual, the type of inheritance of Madua Kaka' is enculturation and socialization.

Abstract

Women play a central role in the lives of people worldwide. This article aims to explore the female figure from the perspective of East Nusa Southeast society, through a process of cultural reflection and analysis. Research results (2011, 2015) guide the pattern and strategy of this article, supplemented by discussions between the two authors from different backgrounds. The two authors reached a consensus to employ an anthropological approach in their joint study and reflection on the writing topic. The strong influence of culture or tradition on the perception of women's roles and functions is critical to the narrative. When confronted with the diverse advancements brought about by globalization, a range of reactions, both positive and negative, seem to emerge. This article's focus and objective is a practical effort to empower women's roles and functions in accordance with their social potential. In this way, women can actively participate in all activities related to the development of society, nusa, and nation.
