Abstract

This study investigates the development and integration of literacy tree learning media as an innovative educational tool for enhancing language and literacy development among elementary school students. The research emphasizes the role of literacy tree learning media in promoting reading, writing, and language comprehension within classroom settings. Alongside its pedagogical benefits, the study includes an economic evaluation of producing the literacy tree learning media using recycled paper, highlighting both its cost-effectiveness and environmental sustainability. The economic assessment covers key factors such as production costs, labor, and material expenses, demonstrating that literacy tree learning media offers a practical, affordable, and sustainable solution for educational institutions. By combining educational innovation with economic feasibility, this study provides valuable insights for schools seeking to improve literacy and language outcomes while contributing to resource conservation and environmental responsibility

Abstract

Kepuasan kerja merupakan faktor kunci dalam menentukan kinerja dan kesejahteraan tenaga pendidik, terutama di kalangan guru honorer yang kerap menghadapi ketidakpastian kerja dan penghargaan yang minim. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh faktor gaji dan pengakuan terhadap kepuasan kerja dengan mengambil studi kasus guru honorer Hervina di SDN 169 Sadar, Sulawesi Selatan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui studi pustaka terhadap pemberitaan media dan teori-teori kepuasan kerja. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa rendahnya gaji dan tidak adanya pengakuan institusional menjadi pemicu utama ketidakpuasan kerja. Temuan ini diperkuat oleh teori Locke, Luthans, serta Robbins & Judge, yang menekankan pentingnya penghargaan finansial dan simbolik dalam membentuk persepsi positif terhadap pekerjaan. Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa perlunya reformasi sistemik dalam pengelolaan guru honorer, terutama dalam aspek kompensasi, pengakuan, dan kepastian status kerja. Penataan ulang kebijakan ini penting untuk menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang adil, manusiawi, dan berkelanjutan dalam sektor pendidikan Indonesia.

Abstract

Ketauhidan sebagai inti dari ajaran Islam diyakini mampu membentuk paradigma kerja yang lebih bermakna, tidak hanya berorientasi pada tujuan duniawi, tetapi juga sebagai bentuk ibadah yang bernilai spiritual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana integrasi nilai ketauhidan dapat meningkatkan kepuasan kerja karyawan dalam konteks lembaga berbasis Islam. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan (library research) dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, melalui analisis terhadap jurnal ilmiah, artikel, buku, dan sumber terpercaya lainnya. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan nilai ketauhidan mampu memengaruhi budaya organisasi secara positif, membentuk karakter kerja yang dilandasi oleh keikhlasan, tanggung jawab, serta semangat pengabdian. Nilai ini juga terbukti meningkatkan kepuasan kerja karyawan secara lahir dan batin, karena pekerjaan dipahami sebagai sarana untuk meraih ridha Allah SWT, hal ini sejalan dengan teori budaya organisasi OCB. Studi ini memberikan kontribusi teoritis dan praktis dalam pengembangan manajemen sumber daya manusia berbasis nilai Islam, serta menegaskan pentingnya nilai spiritual dalam menciptakan budaya kerja yang harmonis dan bermakna.

Abstract

Kepuasan kerja adalah salah satu hal yang sangat penting dalam berjalannya organisasi. Karena, kepuasan kerja memiliki peran dalam mempengaruhi berbagai aspek kinerja dan juga keberhasilan suatu organisasi. Salah satu faktor yang dapat membuat karyawan ataupun anggota organisasi mendapatkan kepuasan kerja adalah memiliki lingkungan kerja yang baik. Karena, dengan kondisi lingkungan kerja yang kondusif, aman, nyaman, dan juga memdukung secara fisik dan juga psikologis akan meningkatkan kenyamanan dan juga semangat para karyawan yang mana bisa berdampak kepada kepuasan kerja mereka. tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah ingin mengetahui salah satu dari faktor hygiene yaitu lingkungan kerja dalam teori dua faktor Herzberg yang berperan dalam meningkatkan kepuasan kerja. Metode yang digunakan oleh peneliti dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan metode pendekatan penelitian kualitatif, dengan jenis penelitian studi pustaka (Study Library). Hasil dari penelitian ini lingkungan kerja memiliki Langkah-langkah strategis demi terpenuhinya faktor hygiene dalam teori dua faktor agar bisa mengurangi rasa ketidakpuasan karyawan dan bsia merasakan kepuasan kerja seperti menjaga kebersihan, menyediakan fasilitas kerja yang layak, membangun hubungan kerja yang positif, serta menciptakan kebijakan yang adil dan prosedur yang jelas sangat penting unutk mewujudkan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif. Oleh karena itu, Faktor hygiene dalam teori dua faktor sangat berperan penting demi keberlangsungan sebuah organisasi maupun lembaga. Karena dengan terpenuhi nya faktor hygiene maka akan menciptakan suasana yang kondusif dan juga mengurangi ketidakpuasan kerja yang mana dari penelitian ini pentingnya memahami bagaimana faktor-faktor eksternal seperti lingkungan kerja memengaruhi kepuasan kerja.

Abstract

This study explores the economic feasibility and policy relevance of household biogas production as a means to accelerate the transition toward renewable energy and sustainable development. Using an engineering economics approach, the analysis includes cost structures, break-even analysis, return on investment, and capital recovery period. Data were drawn from case studies and market-based estimates of component and operational costs. The findings reveal that despite relatively high operational expenses, production efficiency and consistent market demand ensure long-term economic sustainability. Beyond financial performance, household biogas systems enhance local energy security, reduce environmental degradation, and create community-based employment opportunities. These outcomes provide a strong empirical foundation for evidence-based policymaking, particularly in promoting decentralized energy systems and cross-sector collaboration. The initiative directly supports key Sustainable Development Goals, including clean and affordable energy, inclusive economic growth, and climate action, positioning household biogas as both a profitable and socially impactful renewable energy solution.

Abstract

Sexual violence in pesantren remains a pressing concern despite the implementation of national child protection policies. This study developed a strategic model of a child-friendly pesantren climate to prevent sexual violence by integrating institutional, cultural, and relational dimensions. Using a qualitative multiple-case study design, data were collected from 15 pesantren in West Java, Jakarta, and Banten through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and non-participatory observations to ensure credibility and depth. Data analysis followed Miles and Huberman’s interactive model—comprising data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing—supported by NVivo 12 for thematic coding. The findings revealed that preventing sexual violence cannot rely solely on written policies and staff training. It also required cultural mediation that translates formal rules into daily practices and an alliance between staff and families that reconceptualizes institutional capacity as a shared relational commitment. These mechanisms, together with institutional child protection policies, inclusive pedagogy, physical and psychological safety, student agency, and parental involvement, formed a comprehensive model for cultivating a child-friendly pesantren climate. This model advanced theoretical discourse by reframing the hidden curriculum as a vehicle for safeguarding and by positioning family involvement as integral to institutional competence, while offering a practical roadmap for policymakers and practitioners to strengthen child protection in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

This study maps and analyzes inequalities in vocational field of expertise choices among Indonesian vocational school students by gender and region. The research employed descriptive quantitative methods, including the Chi-square Test, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), Heatmaps, Decision Tree Classifiers, Lasso Regression, and Quartiles. The research data were vocational school data in 39 regions and vocational school students in 2023. Gender differences influenced the choice of area of expertise in vocational schools. There were areas of expertise in the male domain or the female domain. The region categorization did not influence the number of male and female students or the choice of field of expertise. These results were due to a gendered distribution across vocational fields arising from social norms and peer-composition signals rather than from a regional inequality context. This research is poised to significantly influence policies that promote equitable gender representation among students in vocational fields at vocational schools.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the utilization of an application-based Character Improvement System (CIS) to strengthen students’ religious character through integration with the hidden curriculum. A qualitative case study approach was employed, using interviews, observations, and documentation to collect data from teachers, students, and parents. The findings showed that the implementation of the hidden curriculum through religious practices was reinforced by CIS, which recorded, monitored, and rewarded students’ daily behaviors. The system encouraged discipline, honesty, and responsibility because every positive action was systematically appreciated and became a school habit. The integration of CIS with the hidden curriculum created measurable and transparent supervision that involved collaboration among teachers, parents, and students. This research contributes novelty by demonstrating how digital applications can support character formation beyond formal instruction. The impact is to provide schools with a replicable model for cultivating noble values consistently and sustainably.

Abstract

This study aims to find strategies and ways to improve the effectiveness of principal supervision by examining other variables that have a positive and dominant influence on the effectiveness of principal supervision. From the qualitative research that has been carried out, different variables are Servant leadership and organizational culture as exogenous variables and organizational climate and personality as entering variables. The strategies and methods found were recommended to related parties, namely teachers, school principals, school supervisors, education offices, and the Ministry of Education and Culture. This study uses a combination of Correlation Research and SITOREM Analysis. This joint research methodology uses a correlation research flow, which is analyzed using SITOREM analysis. The residents in the study are all supervisors and principals of vocational schools in Bogor Regency. The sampling technique in this study uses a proportional random sampling technique, which collects data by taking a proportional population to be used as a sample. The formula used to determine the sample uses the Slovin formula with a margin of error of 5%. The study's conclusion showed a positive and significant influence of serving leadership, personality, and organizational climate on the effectiveness of principal supervision.

Abstract

Building child-friendly schools is teachers' main task so students can learn safely and comfortably. However, there are still teachers who still need to be fully aware of this. This research aims to explore elementary school teachers' perceptions of a safe and comfortable environment as an illustration of the Urban School Climate (USC). This research method is a case study with a qualitative approach. Interviews with elementary school teachers in Bogor carried out data collection. Conversations are carried out directly (face-to-face) and are recorded to ensure that the interview results match the respondent's information. Our research involved 45 teachers with permanent teacher (PT) status in 17 elementary schools in Bogor, Indonesia. The recruitment of teachers who would share their valuable insights was carried out using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, display, and verification. The data analysis was assisted with Nvivo 12 software. The research results showed a safe and comfortable environment as an illustration of USC, including 1) a pleasant school atmosphere for students and teachers, adequate facilities and a mutually supportive atmosphere, 2) a safe environment, 3) a comfortable environment, and 4) school policies which lead to restrictions for parents when picking up their children at school, regulations regarding discipline and various binding regulations. The impact of the results of this research is that schools can build a school climate by referring to the characteristics of USC, which are described as a safe and comfortable school atmosphere and environment.
