Abstract

The purpose of this study is to help learners gain an awareness and sensitivity to the environment and its various problems, help learners to gain a fundamental understanding of how the environment functions, how people interact with the environment and help learners gain experience and skills and use their knowledge in making decisions, positive actions and problem solving related to environmental issues. The method used is qualitative description. This research was conducted at SD Negeri Giwangan involving all students from grade one to grade six. Testing the validity of data using data triangulation techniques, namely combining various existing data and sources in various ways and within a certain time span. Data collection techniques used observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study are the role of teachers in instilling the character of clean living can be seen from the habit of washing hands, carrying out picket according to schedule, throwing garbage in its place.  And the supporting factors are the active role of the family, especially parents, student awareness, the active role of the class teacher and infrastructure. While the inhibiting factors are family factors, environmental factors and students. The solution in overcoming this is to provide guidance, teachers advise students to obey the existing rules, make an agreement on the existence of a violation, and provide sanctions for those who break the rules and integrate clean living character values into learning, and collaborate between schools and parents in overcoming these problems because SD Negeri Giwangan is a school with the title of Adiwiyata Mandiri School so that student awareness in protecting the environment and habituation of clean living character is expected to be realized

Abstract

Pendidik memainkan peran penting selama waktu yang dihabiskan untuk membuat masa depan  yang berkualitas, baik secara mental maupun etis dengan tujuan agar kelas dapat membantu mengikuti  inisiatif negara. Tugas dan kewajiban guru sangatlah besar. Guru memiliki peran besar dalam pendidikan peserta didik karena guru dapat melatih kedisplinan peserta didik disekolah sehingga terbentuklah karakter yang baik dalam diri anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana peran guru dalam meningkatkan karakter disiplin siswa di SD Katolik Santa Theresia Kota Ternate. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi kepada guru, perwakilan orang tua serta perwakilan siswa di SD Katolik Ternate. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran guru dalam  meningkatkan karakter disiplin siswa di SD Katolik Santa Theresia sudah baik karena dengan adanya guru menjadi teladan yang disiplin bagi siswa, guru-guru disana sudah menampilkan dan memberikan contoh  perbuatan yang baik dalam meningkatkan karakter disiplin siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the social interactions of children with hearing impairments in cooperative learning. The research strategy uses descriptive qualitative. The subject of this study was one student with hearing loss in grade IV. Data collection techniques in the form of observation and interviews. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the social interaction of children with hearing impairments in cooperative learning with their group mates was shown by having conversations in verbal and written language, carrying out collaborative activities in groups with division of tasks based on interests. Meanwhile, social interaction with PAI subject teachers is shown by having conversations using verbal and written language, and is very dependent on the mood to receive every instruction and direction.

Abstract

The Indonesian language is the official language used in Indonesia. Good and proper reading skills in Indonesian are crucial for students, especially first-grade elementary school students. Reading is a fundamental skill that students must master to access information from various sources and understand multiple subjects well. APE "Letter Puzzle Sticker" is an instructional media or learning tool that uses a game-based learning approach. This research aims to determine the role of instructional media APE "Letter Puzzle Sticker" in improving the reading abilities of first-grade students at Semin III Elementary School in Gunungkidul Regency, as well as the benefits of using APE letter puzzle sticker media in enhancing the reading abilities of first-grade students. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with one research subject. The instruments used in this research are observation sheets and interviews. The results of this research show that students can recognize letters, build words through pictures, and read. The research emphasizes the importance of selecting letters or words that match students' difficulty levels and implementing effective learning techniques. This conclusion contributes to a better understanding of the role of instructional media in improving the reading skills of first-grade students.

Abstract

Permasalahan dari penelitian ini yaitu pendidikan masih menekankan kognitif untuk membentuk anak menjadi cerdas, namun mengesampingkan nilai-nilai luhur bangsa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan Pendidikan Karakter melalui budaya sekolah di SDN Sidomukti, Kecamatan Ambal, Kabupaten Kebumen Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode observasi dan wawancara dengan subyek siswa kelas IV, 1 guru dan kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu Pendidikan karakter melalui budaya sekolah yang dilakukan di SDN Sidomukti Kecamatan Ambal dengan program pembiasaan sesuai dokumen kurikulum meliputi sambut pagi (3-S), kegiatan Pigor (Piket gotong royong), Lisa (Lihat Sampah Ambil, mendengarkan lagu-lagu wajib nasional, Menyayikan Lagu Indonesia Raya dan Lagu Wajib Nasional, menyanyikan lagu daerah nusantara, budaya antre, berdo’a dan salam, Tara (Tanam dan Pelihara), upacara bendera, bugar pagi, hafalan doa, Jumat amal, memilah sampah, literasi, Hatdir (Kesehatan Diri) dan sarapan pagi dapat membentuk karakter komunikatif, religius, disiplin, toleransi, peduli sosial, cinta damai, peduli lingkungan, tanggung jawab, gemar membaca, cinta tanah air, semangat kebangsaan, dan mandiri.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar IPAS siswa di kelas III SD Negeri Percobaan 3. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dan desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah nonequivalent control group design. Jumlah populasi pada penelitian ini sebanyak 56 siswa kelas III. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan model make a match dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes berupa soal pretest dan posttest menggunakan SPSS 26. Untuk mengetahui kemampuan awal siswa, peneliti melakukan Pretest dengan nilai rata-rata 51,43. Setelah peneliti menggunakan model pembelajaran koopeartif tipe make a match menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dengan nilai rata-rata 91,79. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh positif yang signifikan dari penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas III SD Negeri Percobaan 3.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dengan menggunakan LKPD berbasis proyek pada siswa di SD Negeri Tursino. Metode penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan studi kasus. Subjek penelitian mencakup guru dan siswa di SD Negeri Tursino. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKPD berbasis proyek efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia karena dapat meningkatkan antusiasme, kreativitas, dan pemahaman siswa serta mendorong inovasi pembelajaran yang menjadikan siswa sebagai subjek dan memungkinkan pembelajaran yang mandiri

Abstract

Mathematics until today is still considered a difficult subject so that it needs to think about appropriate strategies to encourage students to be able to regulate themselves in learning this subject. This study aimed to test empirically the role of classroom management and mastery goal orientation towards self-regulated learning. The participants of the study were 177 students of state high schools in Sleman, who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The scales used were self-regulation of mathematics learning scale, classroom management scale, and mastery goal orientation scale. The data analysis using two-predictor regression analysis showed that classroom management and mastery goal simultaneously played a significant role by 68.7% (R2=0.687, F (2.177) =191.243, p<0.01). Classroom management predicted self-regulation (β= -0.130, p < 0.01), and so did mastery goal (β= 0.878, p < 0.01). Based on the results of this study, it could be concluded that self-regulation in learning Mathematics can be determined through classroom manage­ment and mastery goals concurrently.

Abstract

Science learning in elementary schools is influenced by, among other things, interactive learning experiences. Interactive learning involves the activities of all students with various characteristics. An interactive learning experience will support the successful learning outcomes of all students. In reality, teachers face a diversity of student characteristics, one of which is related to different cognitive abilities. The aim of this research is to determine the success of the learning outcomes of all students through the Lakaki "Lamp Our Cafe" Project. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) model by Kemmis Mc. Taggart is carried out in two planned cycles. The stages include planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects in this research were the sixth grade students at one of the state elementary schools in Sleman. The research was carried out by providing action in the form of a project to make decorative lamps using residual items found in the surrounding environment. The implementation of the Lakaki project carried out observations, interviews and documentation of student learning outcomes. The Lakaki project steps include: orienting students to problems, organizing students to learn, guiding individual/group investigations, developing and presenting results, analyzing and evaluating the problem solving process carried out in blended learning. The results of the research showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes from cycle 1 with method completeness of 57.15% and a class average of 72.00. Cycle 2 learning completion reached 100%, with an average final score of 94.18. This proves that the Lakaki project is an alternative learning method to meet the diversity of students, especially the diversity of different cognitive abilities.
