Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to find out, (1) The form of bullying behavior in students at SMKN 3 Takalar, (2) Strategies for preventing bullying behavior through PPKn learning for students at SMKN 3 Takalar (3) The factors that influence strategies for preventing bullying behavior through Civics learning in SMKN 3 Takalar students. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Data obtained from interviews with 3 PPKn teachers, 1 student teacher and 3 students. Checking the validity of the data using data source triangulation techniques. The results showed that; (1) forms of bullying behavior that occur at SMKN 3 Takalar in the form of verbal bullying, rational bullying, and physical bullying; (2) strategies for preventing bullying behavior carried out by PPKn teachers, namely by providing enlightenment to students that bullying behavior is bad behavior, implementing rule boards, providing guidance through Civics learning materials that include the cultivation of noble character values and moral values. as well as fostering and guiding students to be better; (3) the supporting factor for the implementation of the first bullying behavior prevention is the role of civics educations teachers in instilling positive moral values through learning materials in class, cooperation with school residents such as if a teacher finds students bullying their friends, they will be immediately punished. Report to BK for advice and guidance regarding bullying behavior that should not be done. As well as awareness of school residents, especially students, to apply the positive value that have been taught in their daily lives. the inhibiting factor in preventing bullying behavior is that it has become a habit, also because of family factors and the assumption that this bullying behavior is just a joke without them knowing what impact it can have on victims of bullying.

Abstract

media use and (2) teachers’ efforts to address inappropriate moral development among students at SMA Negeri 1 Sendana. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach using observation, interviews, and documentation involving 9 teachers and 20 students. Data were analyzed through reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that social media exerts dual effects on students’ moral development. Positive impacts include increased independence, creativity, curiosity, and religiosity. Negative impacts include decreased interpersonal communication, discipline, politeness, reading interest, and a tendency toward risky social interaction. Teachers’ interventions align with stages of moral development: preconventional, conventional, and postconventional. At the preconventional stage, teachers apply rules and educational sanctions; at the conventional stage, they emphasize role modeling and moral habituation; and at the postconventional stage, they instill principles for wise and responsible social media use.

Abstract

Domestic violence (Kekerasan Dalam Rumah Tangga/KDRT) remains a significant socio-legal issue in Indonesia, particularly in rural communities where cultural norms influence conflict resolution. This study aims to analyze the patterns of domestic violence and examine the effectiveness of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms in Baruga Village, Pa’jukukang District, Bantaeng Regency. A qualitative approach with a socio-legal perspective was employed to explore the interaction between formal legal frameworks and informal community practices. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, and analyzed using an interactive model involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that domestic violence in the study area predominantly affects women and manifests in three main forms: physical, psychological, and sexual violence. Physical violence is the most commonly reported, while psychological violence often precedes physical abuse, indicating a pattern of escalation. Sexual violence is underreported due to cultural stigma. The study also finds that most cases are resolved through informal mechanisms, particularly deliberation (musyawarah) and consensus (mufakat), facilitated by village authorities. Although these mechanisms are culturally accepted, they tend to prioritize reconciliation over justice and may not adequately protect victims. This study concludes that while alternative dispute resolution provides accessible and culturally relevant solutions, its effectiveness is limited by gender inequality, low legal awareness, and power imbalances. Strengthening legal literacy and integrating formal and informal mechanisms are essential to improve victim protection and ensure sustainable resolution outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the mens rea element in the statements made by perpetrators of defamation in alleged defamation cases. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a pragmatic forensic linguistic approach. The data sources for this study are statements and legal documents contained in the Investigation Report of alleged defamation cases that occurred in the jurisdiction of the North Toraja Resort Police. The main data consists of transcripts of statements from witnesses and reported parties that were officially documented by investigators. Data collection was carried out through investigations and interviews with investigators. Data analysis was conducted using a forensic linguistic model with an emphasis on speaker meaning reconstruction. The results of the study show that the statement ‘You have deceived the Palawa people, that's why you came here, you deceiver, liar, thief’ contains linguistic indicators in the form of negative evaluative diction, declarative sentence structure, public context, and repetition of statements that reflect intentional encoding. The conclusion of the study confirms that mens rea can be identified objectively through forensic linguistic analysis, so that language can be used as empirical evidence in proving legal intent in defamation cases.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) To find out how the implementation of the rehabilitative approach to elderly female prisoners at Class II A Sungguminasa Penitentiary. (2) To find out what are the challenges in implementing the rehabilitative approach for elderly female prisoners at Class II A Sungguminasa Penitentiary. This type of research is a case study research using a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used include: observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained from the research results were processed using descriptive qualitative data analysis. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The implementation of the rehabilitative approach for elderly female prisoners is a psychosocial approach that aims to improve the psychological and social aspects of prisoners, the implementation includes screening and initial assessment, social rehabilitation services, and final assessment. Then regarding the guidance that has referred to the regulations for prisoner guidance in force in Indonesia, the guidance that applies in Correctional Institutions is personality and independence guidance. However, in the implementation of this guidance, it is adjusted to the conditions and abilities of the elderly prisoners themselves. (2) the challenges faced in the implementation of the rehabilitation program for the elderly, namely physical limitations are one of the main challenges faced in the rehabilitation program, many prisoners have difficulty following programs that require more intense physical activity or require extra energy. Limited infrastructure and facilities are also one of the challenges in rehabilitation, although they are adequate, but the limitations of overcrowding (excess residents) cause some facilities to not be fully adjusted to the needs of elderly prisoners.

Abstract

Investasi illegal melalui platform digital seperti Binary Option telah menyebabkan kerugian besar bagi Masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perlindungan hukum bagi korban kejahatan investasi ilegal yang dilakukan oleh afiliator Binary Option di Indonesia, berdasarkan Putusan No. 117/Pid.Sus/2022/PT.Btn. Penelitian ini ditulis dengan menggunakan metode normatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus terhadap putusan pengadilan serta analisis terhadap peraturan perundang-undangan terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun terdapat regulasi hukum yang dapat digunakan seperti UU ITE dan KUHP untuk melindungi korban, praktik Binary Option yang sistematis dan tidak diatur secara eksplisit dalam regulasi yang ada menyebabkan tantangan dalam perlindungan hukum. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa perlindungan hukum di Indonesia terhadap korban investasi ilegal masih memiliki kekurangan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan perbaikan regulasi dan peningkatan edukasi untuk memberikan perlindungan yang lebih baik kepada masyarakat.

Abstract

Pelayanan publik pada tingkat desa merupakan bentuk kehadiran negara yang paling dekat dengan warga. Dalam praktiknya, pelayanan pemerintah di tingkat desa masih menghadapi sejumlah persoalan diantaranya belum optimalnya standar pelayanan, terbatasnya keterbukaan informasi, belum seragamnya prosedur, serta rendahnya internalisasi Asas-Asas Umum Pemerintahan yang Baik (AUPB) dalam tindakan administratif aparatur desa. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memperkuat tata kelola pelayanan publik di Pemerintahan Desa Patani, Kecamatan Mappakasunggu Kabupaten Takalar melalui pendampingan berbasis AUPB. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif dengan tahapan identifikasi masalah awal, penyuluhan hukum, focus group discussion, bimbingan teknis penyusunan instrumen pelayanan, pendampingan implementasi, dan evaluasi melalui pre-test, post-test, observasi, serta telaah dokumen. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman aparatur desa mengenai legalitas, kepastian prosedur, keterbukaan, kecermatan, dan akuntabilitas pelayanan. Luaran kegiatan berupa tersusunnya standar pelayanan sederhana, alur pelayanan, media informasi layanan, dan instrumen evaluasi pelayanan berbasis AUPB. Kebaruan artikel ini terletak pada operasionalisasi AUPB bukan hanya sebagai asas normatif, tetapi sebagai perangkat evaluatif dan teknis dalam pembenahan pelayanan publik desa.
