Abstract

Globalization has introduced foreign cuisines, such as Korean and European food, which often attract more interest from young consumers compared to the variety of Indonesian traditional foods. This phenomenon has led to a decline in the popularity of traditional cuisine among the younger generation. This Community Service activity was conducted at SMK Atisa Dipamkara, located in Binong, Curug District, Tangerang Regency, as part of efforts to strengthen the role of educational institutions in preserving local culture. The primary target of this activity was 10th-grade (class X) students, who are in the early phase ofcharacter, attitude, and value orientation formation as vocational students. The service method was divided into three main stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation of activities. To measure the success level of this service activity, the service team administered a Post-Test to 35 students. Pre-Tests and Post-Tests are essential instruments for evaluating the effectiveness of a learning intervention, training, or educational program concerning the traditional mixology of traditional cuisine as a cultural heritage. Many students initially viewed Nusantara (Indonesian Archipelago) cuisine merely as everyday food or drink without associating it with identity values, philosophy, or national character. Conversely, the Post-Test results indicated a significant increase in understanding. Students began to explain the role of traditional food and beverages in shaping cultural identity, as well as the importance of innovation to keep Nusantara cuisine relevant amidst globalizations. The benefits of this activity were directly felt by the target community, particularly the 10th-grade vocational high school students, as evidenced by the increased understanding demonstrated by the Pre-Test and Post-Test results. Furthermore, this activity supports the implementation ofthe Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project and Work Culture (P5BK) by instilling the values of diversity, nationalism, and appreciation for local wisdom.

Abstract

The limited utilization of digital technology in teaching ablution procedures at the elementary school level has resulted in predominantly conventional learning practices that are less engaging for students. This community service activity aimed to enhance teachers’ capabilities in developing and implementing immersive learning media based on Augmented Reality technology to improve students’ understanding of proper ablution procedures. The program was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah 2 Tulangan through a structured approach consisting of theoretical sessions, mentoring, hands-on practice, as well as monitoring, and evaluation using observation, pre-test, and post-test instruments. Participants included six assisting teachers and thirty lower-grade students divided into three groups: ten first-grade students, ten second-grade students, and ten third-grade students. The result indicated a significant improvement in teachers’ digital competency, with the percentage of teachers able to operate digital learning media increasing from 78% to 93%. Student participation also increased from 78% before the implementation of the media to 90% afterward. Each student group demonstrated a more systematic understanding of ablution movement and sequences, accompanied by heightened learning enthusiasm. This activity confirms that the active involvement of teachers and students in the development and implementation of immersive learning media effectively enhances the quality of religious education in elementary schools and supports sustainable technology-based learning transformation.

Abstract

The community assistance program for the innovation “HILAL” (Hijau Lestari Alamku) was initiated in response to low public awareness and participation in environmental management, as well as suboptimal waste management and green space utilization in Kantalai Village. This program aimed to strengthen community capacity in participatory environmental management, promote environmentally friendly practices, and establish a collaborative model between residents and the village government. The implementation methods included socialization sessions, participatory environmental problem mapping, household waste management training, formation of community-based environmental working groups, and practical assistance in planting and maintaining productive and green vegetation. The program involved 45 participants divided into three groups: 15 housewives, 15 youths, and 15 local officials and community leaders. The results indicated an increase in participants’ understanding of waste management and environmental preservation. The housewives’ group successfully implemented household waste segregation and simple composting practices. The youth group initiated routine community clean-up activities and planted 120 tree seedlings in public areas. Meanwhile, local officials and community leaders developed follow-up action plans, including internal regulations and scheduled community service activities. Overall, the program led to initial behavioral changes, the establishment of a village-level environmental management structure, and strengthened collective awareness toward cleanliness and greening efforts. In conclusion, the HILAL innovation assistance program demonstrates that active community engagement is a key determinant of successful community-based environmental management, offering an adaptive and sustainable participatory model at the village level.

Abstract

This community service activity was motivated by the low level of understanding among micro business actors in building brand strength, which has an impact on low consumer purchase intention. The main objective of this activity was to improve the knowledge and capabilities of the community in developing brand trust, brand preference, and brand equity in order to increase product purchase intention. The activity was conducted with the Program Keluarga Harapan Sekuntum Bunga group in Pekanbaru City, consisting of micro-entrepreneurs with home-based businesses. The implementation method applied a participatory and educational approach through several stages, including preparation, socialization, training, mentoring, and interactive discussion. Evaluation was carried out using a quantitative approach through pre-test and post-test as well as Likert-scale questionnaires to measure changes in participants’ understanding and perceptions of the studied variables. The results showed that out of a total of 18 participants, most experienced an improvement in their understanding of branding concepts. Approximately 72% of participants were able to create or improve their product brand identity, while the level of active participation exceeded 80%. The analysis results indicated that brand trust and brand preference had a positive and significant effect on purchase intention, whereas brand equity did not show a significant effect. The benefits obtained by participants included improved ability to build brand identity, apply simple marketing strategies, and increased confidence in promoting their products. In conclusion, strengthening brand trust and brand preference is a key factor in increasing purchase intention in micro businesses and represents an effective approach for community empowerment through marketing-based interventions.
