Abstract

The present study aims to support the hypotheses proposed in the research model to prove the fact that the suggested variables can contribute towards performance improvement. The study offers a novel variable namely ergo-iconic service value. The object of this study includes 118 three-star hotels located in the business districts of the Special Capital Region of Jakarta and West Java. The study used questionnaires that were distributed to hotel managers to acquire research data. The ergo-iconic service value as a mediating variable is proven to improve the marketing performance of the hotels. Other variables, namely, the ability to implement management system certification and the ability to adapt to technology also increase the mediating role of ergo-iconic service value. The hypotheses are empirically proven as all three variables successfully improved the hotels' marketing performance. The current research also shows that the role of humans is still significant, and human presence is required to improve performance despite the fact that we are currently at the Industry 4.0 era; in this case, not all activities should be taken over by robots.

Abstract

Long-distance learning system has been known in Indonesia far before UT was establised in 1984. The questioning differences between long-distance learning system and conventional system still persist until today. This question is co-related with the doubt of how to implement the long-distance learning system with very large number of students across the nations who are far from the source of learning, and with ununified compentency of the program input. This research is using non-parametric statistics to identify differences of student ability between UT students, X University students, and Y University students, in answering essays of Economic Statistics II measured in 2 categories: comparing question patterns and test results done by students from different universities. For the face-to-face or conventional system, this study use two different institution, X university and Z university, so the comparisons can be done twice to two a different and the same systems. There are 49 respondents that consists of 20 undergraduate students of X university, 19 undergraduate students of Y university, and 10 undergraduate students of UT. The data collected will be analyzed using non-parametric statistics, the Chi-Square Method. From the testing process standpoint, there is no significant difference among students of UT, University X, and Unversity Y. And also between students university X and unversity Y. From the testing result standpoint, students of UT, University X, and Unversity Y show relatively the same result with a degree 95%

Abstract

Kecerdasan sering dipahami oleh masyarakat sebagai kemampuan seseorang dalam proses berfikir. Proses berfikir disini dilakukan untuk memperoleh pengetahuan yang lebih dalam. Pengetahuan yang diperoleh akan menjadi landasan mencapai kesuksesan. Banyak yang menganggap bahwa orang cerdas dalam intelektual akan sukses dalam bekerja. Tetapi, kinerja seseorang tidak hanya ditentukan dari kecerdasan intelektual saja, melainkan adanya dukungan dari kecerdasan lain, yaitu emosional dan spiritual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kecerdasan intelektual, emosional, dan spiritual terhadap kinerja. Pada penelitian ini sampel populasi adalah seluruh pegawai Balai Besar & Loka POM di Aceh  yang  berjumlah  157 orang  dengan  sampel  yang  diambil sebanyak minimal 60 sampel dengan menggunakan teknik probability sampling dimana semua elemen populasi punya kesempatan untuk dijadikan sebuah sampel. Pengumpulan data sampel menggunakan sistem angket. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda dan diolah menggunakan aplikasi SPSS versi 23. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan intelektual, kecerdasan emosional, dan kecerdasan spiritual berpengaruh terhadap variabel dependen kinerja pegawai.Kata kunci: kecerdasaan; intelektual; emosional; spiritual; kinerja The Influence Of Intellectual, Emotional, And Spiritual Intelligence On Performance Of Employees At Banda Aceh National Agency Of Drug & Food ControlABSTRACTSociety defines intelligence as the thinking ability of an individual. The thinking process is conducted to gain in-depth knowledge. The knowledge gained will be the foundation for success. Many people think that intelligence in intellectual will be successful at work.  Working performance is not only determined by intellectual intelligence but also from other bits of intelligence, namely emotional and spiritual intelligence. This study aims to determine the effect of intellectual, emotional, and spiritual intelligence on working performance. In this study, the population sample was all employees of Balai Besar & Loka POM in Aceh, 157 people in total with 60 samples taken using probability sampling techniques where all elements of the population had the opportunity as a sample. In addition, the sample of data collection used questionnaires. Moreover, the data analysis used multiple linear regression and processed using SPSS version 23 application. The findings show that intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence, and spiritual intelligence affect the dependent variable on the working performance of employees.Keywords: intelligence; intellectual; emotional; spiritual; performance.

Abstract

Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMdes) “Mitra Jaya Mandiri” Desa Cinangka Kecamatan Cinangka Kabupaten Serang merupakan organisasi yang baru berdiri tahun 2016. Pembentukan BUMdes Mitra Jaya Mandiri (MJM) sebagai bentuk dari upaya pemerintah desa dalam meningkatkan pendapat asli desa serta meningkatkan tarap hidup warga Desa Cinangka. Namun demikian tanpa pengelolaan yang baik dan dukungan pemerintah serta masyarakat harapan untuk menjadikan BUMdes sebagai lokomotip perekonomian desa dapat tidak terwujud. Pada sisi lain keberlangsungan BUMds MJM sebagai infant organisasi akan sangat ditentukan bagaimana BUMdes dapat melewati tahun-tahun pertama berdirinya BUMdes yang merupakan tahapan paling kritis dengan tingkat kegagalan tertinggi dalam siklus hidup organisasi. Phenomena ini disebut liability of newness, kegagalan yang tinggi bagi organisasi baru disebabkan belum ada struktur formal dalam proses menghasilkan nilai tambah serta adanya system prosedure kerja baku dan pasti. Melalui program pendampingan pengelolaan BUMdes dengan menekankan pada profesionalisme dalam pengelolaan. Penyusunan perencanaan kerja sebagai acuan kerja dan didukung prosedure kerja yang terdokumentasi serta pembagian tugas, wewenang dan pelaporan menjadi kekuatan BUMdes MJM dalam menjamin keberlangsungan organisasi.

Abstract

The aims of studi are to examine the effect of talent management and zone of integrity on organizational performance. This research was conducted at BPKP of the Riau Islands Province. The research population is all employees of the BPKP Representative Office of the Riau Islands Province. The research sample was 40 employees with the sampling technique was simple random sampling. The test results show that there is a positive and significant influence of talent management on organizational performance of 6.838 and a significant value of 0.000. The positive and significant influence of the integrity zone on organizational performance is 1,536 and a significant value is 0.000. The simultaneous influence of talent management and integrity zone is positive and significant on organizational performance of 23,376 and a significant value of 0.000.Keywords: Talent Management, Integrity Zone, Organizational Performance, Corruption Free Area, Government Governance.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the instructions to work, study and worship at home during the COVID-19 Pandemic. State Civil Administration (ASN) are instructed to work at home or later called Work From Home (WFH). The application of the WFH concept has a fairly high level of flexibility. The types of work for ASN that are excluded from carrying out the flexible concept are jobs that are directly related to service users, both the community and other stakeholders. WFH implementation does not always go well, the emergence of a cultural shock to the use of technology, the responsibility to manage household activities that can affect the stress level of employees, as well as disturbances from family members and other problems that occur at home lead to the inability of employees to concentrate while working at home which will effect on employee performance. The Foreign Investment Tax Service Office One (KPP PMA Satu) routinely performs periodic performance measurements. Performance measurement is carried out using the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) strategy. The Organizational Performance Value (NKO) of KPP PMA Satu in 2020 has decreased compared to 2019. Several factors that influenced the decline in NKO were the uncertain global economic conditions due to the pandemic and various online services. This research was conducted at KPP PMA Satu using 6 (six) variables with the aim of knowing the factors that influence the implementation of the WFH policy and the effect of the implementation of the WFH policy on the performance of KPP PMA Satu employees. The number of samples used are 111 employees who implement the WFH policy. The research method used is quantitative with a causal approach where the data obtained is processed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. The results obtained are that work from home has a significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 4.0, which is echoing in Indonesia, will be proven during the Covid-19 pandemic viewed from the economic and social aspects through the application of work from home (WFH). Purpose: This study aims to analyze the implementation of the 4.0 industrial revolution through work from home during the Covid-19 pandemic on employee performance. Research methodology: determining to sample for research with purposive sampling technique as in total received 104 data. The collected research data is still acceptable because the rate-of-returned questionnaire is> 80%. The research hypothesis testing carries out using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) approach based on Partial Least Square (PLS). Results: From the results of the analysis carried out, found that only the first hypothesis, namely the use of information technology, was proven to have a significant effect on commitment, while the rest proved to be. Limitations: This study has restrictions to aspects tested referring to the respondents' perceptions. Contribution: The contribution of this research is in the area of human resource management, especially in terms of commitment, use of information technology, work-family conflict and performance.

Abstract

Management of Human Resources (HR) during the industrial revolution 4.0 is now a must for an organization to develop. Utilization of advances in information technology is one of the success factors of an organization in achieving a goal and is influenced by HR which is the driving force of various resources within an organization. Since the Covid-19 pandemic hit the world which required schools to make changes in the learning system, Jambi City Vocational School 1 has several programs in human resource development during the pandemic, including curriculum development using the blended learning method, learning using learning platforms, Learning Management System (LMS), integrated curriculum, and video conferencing. Based on the existing problems, the role of leadership in schools is expected to be able to improve the quality of human resources during the industrial revolution 4.0 at SMKN 1 Jambi City.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan mitra Kelompok Tani Kopi Silih Asih Megamendung, Bogor dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan strategi pemasaran pengembangan produksi kopi kelompok tani silih asih Megamendung Bogor. Berdasarkan survei dan wawancara langsung pada Kelompok Tani Silih Asih diketahui bahwa pada segi permodalan, dengan modal sendiri dan tidak menggunakan Lembaga keuangan karena asumsi bahwa permodalan melalui pihak bank akan merepotkan dari segi administrasi. Pada segi produksi, jumlah produksi yang dihasilkan belum optimal karena masih menggunakan peralatan seadanya yang sederhana dan sangat bergantung kepada kondisi cuaca, selain itu kemampuan pengolahan di Kelompok tani masih sedikit sehingga inovasi produksi kopi memerlukan peralatan dan pelatihan. Kendala lain yang dihadapi kelompok penanam kopi Silih Asih adalah produksi kopi dengan cara pengeringan tradisional yang mengandalkan sinar matahari. Pengeringan merupakan salah satu proses pengolahan kopi yang sangat penting, karena berpengaruh terhadap kualitas biji kopi yang dihasilkan. Proses pengeringan ini memakan waktu cukup lama dan dapat membusuk saat musim hujan sehingga menurunkan hasil panen petani dan kualitas biji kopi.. Tujuan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan produktivitas kelompok tani sehingga dapat berkembang dan memiliki daya saing guna meningkatkan pangsa pasarnya. Penerapan marketplace dan packaging yang menarik diharapkan dapat membantu untuk meningkatkan pemasaran produk kopi

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk mengimplementasikan ilmu dan pengetahuan di perguruan tinggi yang dimiliki oleh masing-masing dosen. Kegiatan ini dengan harapan dapat diterapkan oleh masyarakat,khususnya masyarakat yang bergerak dalam bidang usaha UMKM guna meningkat kinerja dari UMKM yang efeknya akan meningkatkan pendapat dan kesejahteraan perekomian. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra adalah modal usaha akibat badai pandemi, sumber daya manusia yang mempunyai kemampuan untuk menerapkan teknologi, kualitas signal menjadi permasalahan untuk pemasaran digital. Metode pelaksanaan adalah pada dosen memberikan bimbingan teknis, kesempatan kepada UMKM untuk berdiskusi dan presentasi terkait usaha yang telah dilakukan.  Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dalam Forum Group Discussion (FGD) sehingga peserta dan narasumber dapat berdiskusi saling memberikan pendapat dan rekomendasi terhadap permasalahan dan solusi untuk meningkatkan penjualan produk. Solusi yang ditawarkan dengan menerapakan konsep nilai produk ergo-ikonik, konseip yang dapat meningkatkan penjualan mereka dengan memberikan nilai nyaman berkarakter atau beridentitas dari daerah atau pulau Sebatik. Pemerintah Pusat harus intervensi untuk pengembangan SDM dan Kualitas Produk sebagai bentuk kepemilikan pulau yang dimiliki oleh dua negara
