Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas penerapan metode Field Trip dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis cerita pendek pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Silimakuta. Metode ini melibatkan siswa melakukan perjalanan ke lokasi tertentu untuk mengamati objek yang kemudian dijadikan bahan dalam menulis cerita pendek. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus, meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode Field Trip dapat meningkatkan keaktifan, minat, dan motivasi siswa dalam pembelajaran menulis cerita pendek, dengan persentase keaktifan meningkat hingga 88,88%, minat sebesar 86,11%, dan motivasi mencapai 77,77%. Selain itu, terjadi peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan menulis cerita pendek siswa, dari nilai rata-rata awal 72,47% dengan 25 siswa mencapai KKM (≥75), menjadi 81,25% pada akhir siklus II dengan 31 siswa mencapai nilai di atas KKM. Dengan demikian, penerapan metode Field Trip terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis cerita pendek siswa, membuat pembelajaran lebih menarik dan membantu siswa mengembangkan ide secara lebih kreatif dan terstruktur.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh metode debat terhadap kemampuan menyusun argumentasi pada siswa SMK Negeri 1 Pamatang Silimahuta Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024. Penelitian menggunakan desain eksperimen dengan pre-test dan post-test pada kelompok kontrol, dengan subjek siswa kelas XI yang dipilih secara acak. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes kemampuan argumentasi sebelum dan setelah penerapan metode debat, dan dianalisis menggunakan uji t untuk menentukan perbedaan signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan menyusun argumentasi pada siswa yang diajar menggunakan metode debat dibandingkan dengan siswa yang diajar dengan metode konvensional. Nilai rata-rata post-test kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol, menunjukkan efektivitas metode debat dalam meningkatkan kemampuan argumentasi siswa. Kesimpulannya, metode debat merupakan strategi pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menyusun argumentasi siswa, dan hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi pendidik dalam memilih metode pengajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah.

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memahami nilai filosofis dan makna dari tari dampeng sebagi identitas budaya suku Singkil melalui media audiovisual. Penelitian ini mengkaji keraifan lokal Indonesia melalui video Tari dampeng untuk pemelajar asing dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran BIPA di tingkat madya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu teknik rekam dan angket. Berdasarkan hasil diskusi setiap kelompok pemelajar BIPA dapat mengulang gerakan tarian dampeng yang dapat dilihat dari hasil rekam yang dilakukan oleh peneliti. Kemudian pemelajar juga mampu mengutarakan langkah-langkah penari dalam melakukan tarian serta mampu mendeskripsikan dan menyampaikan tujuan tari dampeng dan makna dari setiap gerakan tari dampeng. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran BIPA bermuatan kearifan lokal tari dampeng melalui media audiovisual sangat efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran bahasa untuk mengasah keterampilan berbicara pemelajar asing. This research was motivated by students' problems in speaking in writing according to linguistic rules. Language errors that often occur in writing or written works that do not comply with linguistic rules include affixation, reduplication, diction and compositum. This can be seen from the written work written by high school students due to the students' lack of knowledge about language. The main aim of this research aims to describe the forms of language errors in the field of morphology in scientific articles made by Seribu Bukit State High School students. The research data is in the form of 27 student scientific articles. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. The analysis technique used is the test technique. The test is in the form of a scientific article. Students are asked to write scientific articles. The results of this research show that the forms of morphological errors found in scientific articles of class not standard. The form of error in the field of reduplication lies in its redundant/pleonic use. The form of a composite error lies in the procedure for writing it. The findings of this research show that language errors in the morphological aspect are found in grammatical errors, diction errors, affixation errors, and composite errors.

Local wisdom is an idea, knowledge, norms, ethics, and morals that are in accordance with community life and sustainable with the environment. The existence of traditional activities is one part of the symbol of existing local wisdom. The Peseujeuk tradition is a tradition with local wisdom originating from Aceh and is a local wisdom based on existing traditions. This study aims to understand the value of traditional activity videos for BIPA students in terms of the use of audiovisual media with local cultural content. This article discusses the use of traditional activity videos in Aceh as learning media for junior high school BIPA students. The researcher found that the video seemed significant to students' understanding of traditional culture in Aceh, especially the Peuseujeuk tradition through the practice of speaking and writing that they had done in the BIPA class. Although still lacking in terms of affixes, formal and informal contexts, punctuation and conjunctions, and understanding of meaning. This article concludes that based on these findings, further research on this topic is needed to improve BIPA teaching and learning, especially in junior high school classes.

Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing (BIPA) tingkat menengah memerlukan bahan ajar yang tidak hanya meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa, tetapi juga memperkenalkan nilai-nilai budaya Indonesia. Cerita rakyat Putri Pukes dari Gayo, Aceh, memuat nilai-nilai budaya, seperti penghormatan terhadap orang tua, kepatuhan pada adat istiadat, dan hubungan manusia dengan alam, yang relevan untuk diintegrasikan ke dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai-nilai budaya dalam cerita Putri Pukes serta potensinya sebagai bahan ajar BIPA tingkat menengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi pustaka. Data dianalisis berdasarkan isi cerita rakyat Putri Pukes, kemudian disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan pembelajaran BIPA dengan menggunakan media audiovisual. Analisis difokuskan pada nilai-nilai budaya yang dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam pembelajaran bahasa, meliputi kompetensi membaca, berbicara, dan diskusi budaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cerita Putri Pukes mengandung sejumlah nilai budaya yang relevan untuk pembelajaran BIPA, seperti penghormatan terhadap orang tua, larangan melanggar adat, kesabaran, dan hubungan manusia dengan alam. Cerita ini juga mengandung kosa kata, ungkapan, dan struktur kalimat yang sesuai untuk peserta didik tingkat menengah. Dari analisis, ditemukan bahwa cerita rakyat ini memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap budaya Indonesia sekaligus mengasah kemampuan bahasa mereka melalui kegiatan membaca, diskusi, dan presentasi budaya. Integrasi cerita rakyat Putri Pukes sebagai bahan ajar BIPA memberikan pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis budaya yang holistik. Cerita ini tidak hanya membantu peserta didik memahami norma sosial dan tradisi masyarakat Indonesia, tetapi juga membangun kemampuan berpikir kritis melalui diskusi lintas budaya. Pendekatan ini relevan dengan kebutuhan pembelajaran BIPA tingkat menengah yang mengutamakan penguasaan bahasa sekaligus pengenalan budaya.

This study aims to describe the improvement of speech skills in responding to students' short stories through the application of the stick talking method. This study is based on learning to speak in response to the short story on the students in the category of low. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive with a classroom action approach that describes speaking skills to respond to classical short stories and speaking skills in response to a short story through a talking stick method. in practive both two cycles consisting of the planning stage, the execution of the action, the observation, and the reflection. The subject of this study were samples dran bypurposive sampling technique of 30 students of class VII-C SMP Negeri 40 Medan. The results showed that students 'ability to respond to the students' short story increased after talking stick method was applied in the pre-cycles, the average score was 52.33 and the percentage of classical completeness was 20% After applying the method of talking stick ), the result of the students 'test scores on the first cycle obtained an average score of 69.5 and increased to 71.67 in the second cycle test.Based on the percentage of students' classical completeness in cycle I 66.67% increase in cycle II 76.67%. The research concluded that the application of talking stick method can improve the speaking skill in responding to the short story in the students of class VII-C SMP Negeri 40 Medan.

His study was conducted to find out whether the Student Team Achievement Division model had a significant influence on the ability to write drama text of students in eighth grade Medan Agung Budi Middle School. The design of this study was carried out by classroom action research. The research subjects were 32 students. Instruments in collecting data are interviews, observation, tests, and documentation. The data collected was analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis. The procedure of this study uses a class action research design, namely the stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of this study indicate that students' ability to write drama texts has increased. After the implementation of two cycles, the first cycle is 56.25% and in the second cycle, 78.12%.

The evaluation of Indonesian for speakers of other languages (BIPA) is important in the age of globalisation to ensure the effectiveness of learning for foreign speakers. This study attempts to evaluate the competence of the 2019 edition of the Sahabatku Indonesia course materials, the official published book for basic level (A1) learners, by analysing the suitability of the materials against the competence standards, the representation of Indonesian culture, and the quality of presentation. Using qualitative content analysis, this study examined the text, images, and audio of the teaching materials based on 16 indicators of Muslich's competency standards and Permendikbudristek No. 22 of 2022. The results show that these teaching materials fall into the excellent category with a feasibility percentage of 90.625%, excelling in pre-discourse, exercises and presentation of materials. However, there are inconsistencies in cultural representation, acronyms without explanation and outdated currency illustrations. The results confirm that adjustments should be made to these aspects to improve their relevance and effectiveness in BIPA materials, to ensure alignment with cultural development and learner needs, and to provide guidance for the development of more effective BIPA materials in the future.
