Abstract

Problems with pronunciation and accent in Japanese language learners often occur because learners have different mother tongues. This study aims to describe how the form of perception of consonant utterances in Japanese language learners whose native Javanese language is foreign when compared to native Japanese. The consonants that will be test are Japanese plosives and fricatives. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative where the researcher will describe the results of data analysis and explain facts about perceptions of mother tongue speech, which interfere with foreign language learners, especially Japanese. The analysis was carried out based on the recording when testing words containing plosive and fricative consonants. Based on the results of the analyze in this study, it can be interpreted that Japanese language learners whose mother tongue is Javanese Mancanegari have differences from native Japanese speakers, both in terms of the frequency of the spoken consonants and in terms of the pitch-accent waves

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Promosi Penjualan, Penjualan Pribadi dan Periklanan terhadap Loyalitas Pelanggan dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Promosi Penjualan, Penjualan Pribadi dan Periklanan secara bersama-sama terhadap loyalitas pelanggan konsumen. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi populasi adalah pelanggan PT. Arta Boga Cemerlang Kota Pekanbaru sebanyak 1.590 pelanggan, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 181 orang. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder, sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa promosi penjualan, personal dan periklanan secara parsial atau simultan berpengaruh terhadap loyalitas pelanggan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa promosi penjualan, penjualan personal dan periklanan dapat menentukan tingkat loyalitas pelanggan konsumen.

Abstract

Background: Diabetes Mellitus (DM) Type 2 is a chronic metabolic disease that can cause serious complications, such as peripheral circulatory disorders and diabetic foot ulcers, if blood glucose levels are not controlled. Resistance Exercise is one form of physical activity intervention that has the potential to prevent these complications. Purpose: To determine the effect of resistance training on blood glucose fluctuation  and painful diabetic peripheral neuropathy in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Method: This study used a pre-experimental design with a two-group pretest-posttest design. A total of 60 participants were selected through simple random sampling, divided into two groups: intervention (n=30) and control (n=30). The intervention group was given Resistance Exercise for a certain period, while the control group was not given any treatment. Data were analyzed using the Paired t-Test . Results: There were significant differences in the intervention group before and after intervention on blood glucose levels (p=0.000), peripheral blood circulation (p=0.000), and leg pain (p=0.000). Meanwhile, the control group did not show significant differences in peripheral blood circulation (p=0.161) and leg pain (p=0.083). Conclusion:​​ Resistance Exercise is effective in lowering blood glucose levels, improving peripheral blood circulation, and reducing leg pain in patients with Type 2 DM. This intervention is recommended as part of DM management at the primary care level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of legal provisions concerning the criminal act of aggravated theft as regulated under Article 363 of the Indonesian Criminal Code (KUHP), focusing on the case study of decision number 1701/Pid.B/2024/PN Sby. The research intends to identify the judges’ legal considerations, the conformity between the elements of the offense and the facts revealed during the trial, as well as the relevance of the verdict to existing doctrines and jurisprudence. The study employs a normative juridical research method with a case approach, supported by an examination of the court’s decision, criminal law literature, and applicable legislation. The data are qualitatively analyzed to assess the consistency of the judges’ legal reasoning. The research findings indicate that the judges accurately assessed the elements of aggravated theft based on the evidence presented in court. The rendered verdict reflects substantive justice as it considers both aggravating and mitigating factors for the defendant. This study highlights the importance of consistent law enforcement in aggravated theft cases to ensure legal certainty and protect the rights of victims

Abstract

This study aims to compare investment and operational costs between electric trucks (Electric Vehicles/EV) and diesel trucks (Internal Combustion Engine/ICE) in coal transportation activities in Kutai Barat Regency. The main issue addressed is the high investment cost of electric vehicles and their suboptimal operational productivity compared to conventional vehicles. A employed using descriptive statistics and the non-parametric Mann–Whitney U test. Data were collected from actual operational measurements of both vehicle types. The results show that electric trucks have significantly higher investment costs than diesel trucks. However, in terms of energy efficiency, electric trucks offer significant savings up to 72.9% in energy costs. Meanwhile, operational and total costs between the two truck types were not statistically different. In terms of productivity and daily output capacity, diesel trucks were significantly superior. These findings suggest the adoption of a mixed-fleet strategy and underscore the importance of developing supporting infrastructure such as swab charging stations to optimize the role of electric vehicles in the mining sector.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct a comparative analysis of Grade 7 and Grade 8 students’ creative thinking skills through the implementation of the Experiential Learning model at SMPN 2 Pangsid. The research employed a quantitative approach using a pretest–posttest comparative design. The participants consisted of 20 students selected through purposive sampling, with 10 students from Grade 7A and 10 students from Grade 8A. Data were collected using a creative thinking test based on four indicators: fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality tests, and Independent Samples t-Test with the assistance of SPSS software. The findings revealed that there was a significant improvement in students’ creative thinking skills after the implementation of the Experiential Learning model in both grades. Grade 7 students demonstrated a higher and more consistent increase in posttest scores compared to Grade 8 students. The statistical analysis indicated no significant difference in pretest scores between the two grades, while a significant difference was found in posttest results, confirming the effectiveness of the Experiential Learning model in enhancing creative thinking skills. These results suggest that Experiential Learning is an effective instructional approach for fostering students’ creative thinking through active engagement and meaningful learning experiences.

Abstract

Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi oleh Kelompok Petani Garam Grinting (KPGG) adalah rendahnya harga jual garam krosok akibat persaingan dan kurangnya diversifikasi produk. Sebagai kontribusi nyata, Tim Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) Universitas Muhadi Setiabudi (UMUS) memberikan solusi berupa pelatihan pembuatan garam bata, sebagai upaya inovasi produk olahan garam. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan adalah pemberdayaan masyarakat dengan pendekatan interaktif, melalui empat tahapan utama: identifikasi masalah awal (pre-test), penyampaian materi (ceramah), demonstrasi praktik pembuatan garam bata, dan evaluasi hasil (post-test). Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada tingkat pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta sebesar 50%, dibuktikan dengan kenaikan skor rata-rata post-test menjadi 4,29. Oleh karena itu, direkomendasikan program pendampingan lanjutan yang fokus pada fasilitasi akses pasar dan penguatan manajemen kelembagaan untuk menjamin keberlanjutan usaha.

Abstract

The Community Partnership Program (PKM) aims to strengthen the capacity of the West Kalimantan Gerkatin disability group through digital marketing training to support inclusive digital transformation. Implemented by the Muhammadiyah University of Pontianak, this activity addresses partner issues related to weak financial management and limited access to digital marketing. Solutions provided include training in financial management, product photography, social media marketing, AI-based copywriting, and assistance in creating an online store via WooCommerce. On September 13 and 20, 2025, 35 deaf participants participated in the training with the support of a Sign Language Interpreter. As a result, 60% of participants were able to prepare financial reports, 75% understood digital marketing, and 70% produced catalog-worthy product photos and descriptions. The implementation of the program encountered challenges associated with participants’ limited baseline digital literacy; however, these were mitigated through intensive mentoring and the application of accessible, disability-friendly technologies. The program also produced a prototype website for cacatjualan.com and various outputs such as journal articles, media publications, videos, posters, and training materials that support the achievement of activities, particularly poverty alleviation, decent work, inequality reduction, and support for the university's Key Performance Indicators in the field of community service. The impact is seen in improving digital skills, social inclusion, and the economic potential of disability groups.

Abstract

Abstrak Sektor pertanian berkontribusi penting bagi perekonomian Indonesia, namun pemilihan tanaman masih mengandalkan cara tradisional yang kurang efisien. Penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem klasifikasi tanaman berbasis parameter tanah dan iklim dengan algoritma Naïve Bayes serta Decision Tree. Proses penelitian mengikuti enam tahap CRISP-DM. Data diambil dari Kaggle dengan variabel nitrogen, fosfor, kalium, suhu, kelembapan, pH, dan curah hujan. Evaluasi memakai Confusion Matrix dan Cross-Validation dengan akurasi, presisi, recall, dan F1-score. Hasilnya, Decision Tree akurat pada data latih (97,95%) namun turun di data uji (91,57%), sedangkan Naïve Bayes lebih stabil (95,25%–95,32%) sehingga direkomendasikan karena hasil yang konsisten dan lebih dapat diandalkan. Perbedaan ini terjadi karena kompleksitas struktur Decision Tree membuatnya lebih rentan terhadap overfitting, sedangkan Naïve Bayes yang bersifat probabilistik lebih stabil terhadap variasi data. Kata kunci: Pertanian, Klasifikasi Tanaman, Naïve Bayes, Decision Tree, CRISP-DM Abstract The agricultural sector plays an important role in Indonesia’s economy, yet crop selection still relies on traditional practices that are often inefficient. This study develops a crop classification system based on soil and climate parameters using the Naïve Bayes and Decision Tree algorithms. The research process follows the six stages of CRISP-DM. The dataset, obtained from Kaggle, includes nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, temperature, humidity, soil pH, and rainfall. Evaluation was conducted with a Confusion Matrix and Cross-Validation using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. Results indicate that Decision Tree achieved 97.95% accuracy on training data but decreased to 91.57% on testing data, while Naïve Bayes remained more stable (95.25%–95.32%), thus recommended for its consistent and more reliable performance. This difference occurs because the complexity of the Decision Tree structure makes it more prone to overfitting, while the probabilistic Naïve Bayes is more stable against data variations. Abstract

Penggunaan gairaigo dalam bahasa Jepang semakin meningkat seiring dengan dampak globalisasi, terutama di lingkungan kerja Ground Handling di Bandara Internasional Narita, Jepang. Namun, pemahaman dan penggunaan gairaigo yang tidak tepat dapat mengurangi efektivitas kerja, khususnya bagi mahasiswa magang yang belum memahami sistem penulisan katakana dan prinsip gairaigo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gairaigo yang muncul di lingkungan kerja Ground Handling Bandara Internasional Narita. Dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung. Data tersebut kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif untuk menarasikan dan menginterpretasikan temuan. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi responden cenderung tidak cukup teliti dalam menafsirkan kosakata gairaigo yang menyebabkan kesalahan dalam penulisan istilah tersebut dengan katakana.
