Abstract

The world is now starting the trend of going green or back to nature. The slogan goes green or back to nature can also be interpreted as living in harmony with nature. Our beloved country of Indonesia has implemented a harmonious life with nature, we can find it in the Javanese planting season calendar called Pranata Mangsa. In the pranata mangsa, we are taught the method of living in harmony, especially in an agricultural system. Harmony with nature means harmony between seasons, weather, living things, and types of plants. If everything is applied, there will be harmonization between all elements both from outside and inside so that additional elements such as chemical fertilizers and pesticides in agriculture, which essentially eliminate the harmonization of nature itself, are not needed. The implementation of Finite State Automata on the farming season calendar is expected to be able to educate and make it easier for farmers in particular and the Indonesian people, in general, to able to recognize the farming time and apply it to daily life. The final result of this research is the calendar system that can convert the date and month in the masehi calendar into the period or season of the pranata mangsa system. Abstract

The development of technology is growing rapidly, the number of increasingly sophisticated inventions can also help humans in carrying out their activities, one of which is online classes, especially graphic design from various official organizers such as from coursera, udemy, and other organizers. Online graphic design classes are currently in great demand by the general public, especially at the school level, some have to pay a certain nominal, there are also free ones to access the class, besides that the classes offered are starting to vary, ranging from the beginner level to the advanced level also with certain software such as Adobe Photoshop, Figma, and other design applications and also with different systems, online or offline, graphic design is much needed, especially in the world of work such as printing, advertising and other fields. In this study, it was designed by using the FSA (Finite State Automata) method with the TYPE of NFA (Non-deterministic Finite Automata) to help students in the process of online graphic design classes starting from registration on the website to getting a class certificate so that students do not feel confused about what to do after registering, and is expected to make students understand in the process of online graphic design classes,  The results of using FSA with nfa type can help students to better understand the flow of the registration process for online graphic design classes, with the creation of an FSA with this type of NFA is also expected to help students in registering online to get a certificate because they have attended an online graphic design class.   Keywords : desain grafis, FSA, NFA, corel, adobe.

Abstract

Warung Tegal (Warteg) merupakan usaha kuliner yang populer di Indonesia, tetapi sistem perhitungan harga makanannya masih manual, yang dapat menyebabkan kesalahan transaksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem deteksi makanan otomatis menggunakan YOLO v8 untuk mengotomatisasi perhitungan harga.Dataset terdiri dari berbagai lauk warteg yang diproses dengan teknik augmentasi seperti pemotongan, rotasi, dan pencahayaan guna meningkatkan kinerja model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam pengujian terbaik dengan dataset 70:30 (20 epochs, batch size 16, learning rate 0.001), model YOLO v8 mencapai precision 0.602, recall 0.176, F1-score 0.32, box_loss 1.756, dan mAP@0.5 0.229. Tantangan utama meliputi keterbatasan dataset, kompleksitas latar belakang, dan kurangnya perbandingan dengan dataset publik. Meskipun dalam beberapa kondisi akurasi mencapai 75%- 100%, diperlukan dataset lebih besar dan perbandingan model lain untuk meningkatkan akurasi. Sistem ini berpotensi mendukung digitalisasi industri kuliner dan meningkatkan efisiensi transaksi di warteg.

Abstract

Kehidupan bermasyarakat pada tingkatan paling bawah diatur melalui Permendagri nomor 5 tahun 2007 yang mengatur tentang pembentukan Rukun Warga dan Rukun Tetangga. Untuk dapat menjalankan fungsi dan perannya dengan baik pada revolusi 4.0 ini, pemerintah diharapkan dapat beradaptasi dengan perkembangan teknologi untuk menyelesaikan dan memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat melalui penggunaan aplikasi berbasis teknologi pada pelayanan publik. Dalam rangka melaksanakan kegiatan tri dharma perguruan tinggi yaitu pengabdian kepada masyarakat, Fakultas Teknologi Universitas Nusa Mandiri menyelenggarakan pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi administrasi RT RW berbasis website yang bertujuan guna memberikan cara dan langkah-langkah penggunaan aplikasi administrasi RT RW yang dapat digunakan oleh pengurus RW 06 dan RT yang berada dibawah RW 06. Pelatihan ini diselenggarakan bekerjasama dengan mitra yaitu PKK RW 06 Kelurahan Tegal Parang Kecamatan Mampang Prapatan. Dengan adanya aplikasi, dapat memberikan pelayanan administrasi kepada masyarakat dengan lebih cepat dan tepat.

Abstract

Application-based transportation services have rapidly developed in recent years, with various studies indicating that service quality and user experience play a crucial role in the adoption of this technology. Previous research has analyzed user satisfaction with digital transportation applications, highlighting factors such as ease of use, service reliability, and the effectiveness of fare systems. This study aims to analyze user sentiment toward the JakLingko application to assess satisfaction levels and identify aspects that need improvement. Utilizing a dataset of 200 user reviews, this research applies data preprocessing techniques to clean and organize the information before performing sentiment classification. The machine learning models used include Naïve Bayes, Random Forest, Support Vector Machine, Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), categorizing sentiment into positive, negative, and neutral. The analysis results indicate a dominance of negative sentiment in user reviews, reflecting a significant level of dissatisfaction with the application. This highlights major challenges in the implementation of transportation applications, potentially affecting public adoption and trust in the service. Therefore, besides providing insights into user perceptions, this study also proposes improvement strategies aimed at enhancing features and the overall user experience. Given the high proportion of negative sentiment, this research emphasizes the importance of improving the accuracy of sentiment analysis models to generate deeper and more precise insights. These findings can serve as a foundation for designing policies and strategies to improve application-based transportation services, ultimately enhancing service quality and expanding user adoption.

Abstract

Pengiriman barang merupakan proses penting dalam pengalokasi waktu agar dapat sampai pada tujuan dan juga menentukan jumlah barang yang dikirim ke tujuan. Masalah yang timbul yaitu jumlah barang yang diangkut dengan armada terbatas dan tujuan barang yang dikirim sangat banyak. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, maka dikembangkan sebuah aplikasi berbasis web untuk pengiriman barang dengan menentukan jumlah barang yang dikirim oleh armda dan tujuan pengiriman barang kesemua dealer yang ada. Pada penelitian ini pengiriman barang dengan menggunakan algoritma greedy diterapkan memudahkan dalam menentukan tujuan pengiriman barang kesemua dealer dan jumlah barang yang diangkut oleh armada yang disiapkan sesuai jumlah angkut armada dan dapat mengoptimalkan waktu pengiriman barang. Kata kunci : Pengiriman Barang, Algoritma Greedy, Aplikasi

Abstract

The precise identification and reading of Indonesian vehicle number plates are important in many areas, including the enforcement of law, collection of charges, management of parking areas, and safety measures. This study integrates the implementation of the YOLOv8 object detection algorithm with three OCR methods: EasyOCR, TesseractOCR, and TensorFlow. YOLOv8 is capable of identifying license plates from images and videos at a high speed and reliability under different conditions and therefore is used in this study to perform plate detection in images and videos. After licenses are detected, OCR techniques are performed to segment and read the letters. Both EasyOCR and TesseractOCR performed moderately well on static images achieving accuracy rates of 70% and 68% respectively, but both suffered significantly lower performance in video scenarios. Of the 100 video frames, EasyOCR was able to correctly identify characters in 61 frames and TesseractOCR in 58 frames, while the TensorFlow-based model outperformed the other two with 75 correct recognitions. Furthermore, easy OCR and static images as input while the TensorFlow-based models completed them with 100% accuracy. This observation can be explained by its design, which utilizes a CNN with ReLU activation and Softmax outputs, trained on 10,261 annotated characters and was enhanced with five different data augmentation techniques. The model shows strong performance in its ability to handle dynamic conditions such as motion blur, changing light conditions, and rotation of the plate angle. The results underscore the drawbacks of one-size-fits-all OCR applications in real-world use cases and stress the need for bespoke model training, as well as hierarchical contouring, in the context of automatic license plate recognition (ALPR). This study provides additional insights into ALPR systems by delivering a robust, scalable, and real-time tool for plate and character recognition, which is essential for intelligent transportation systems.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dalam era Revolusi Industri 4.0 mendorong pentingnya pengenalan literasi digital dan kemampuan berpikir komputasional sejak usia dini. Namun, lembaga pendidikan nonformal seperti rumah tahfidz umumnya belum memiliki akses atau program pembelajaran teknologi yang sesuai dengan karakteristik anak-anak. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, tim dosen dan mahasiswa Universitas Nusa Mandiri melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang ditujukan untuk anak usia 7–10 tahun di Rumah Tahfidz Daar El Huffadzh, Jakarta Timur. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara hybrid dengan pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis visual menggunakan Python Turtle serta aktivitas logika tanpa komputer (unplugged coding). Materi pelatihan dirancang agar peserta dapat mengenal perintah dasar pemrograman seperti forward() dan right() untuk menghasilkan gambar visual, serta memahami konsep algoritmik seperti urutan perintah, pengulangan, dan pengambilan keputusan melalui aktivitas fisik. Dokumentasi kegiatan dilakukan dalam bentuk modul, foto, dan umpan balik peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan berhasil diikuti oleh 20 anak dengan tingkat partisipasi dan antusiasme tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil kuesioner, skor rata-rata kepuasan peserta berada di atas 4 dari skala 5 pada seluruh indikator. Persentase kepuasan tertinggi tercatat pada aspek materi pelatihan (94,7%) dan keselamatan kegiatan (94,4%). Sebaliknya, skor terendah tercatat pada pemahaman konsep ilmiah (68,4%) karena dianggap terlalu abstrak bagi peserta usia dini. Secara umum, kegiatan dinilai efektif dan layak direplikasi di lembaga pendidikan nonformal sejenis.

Abstract

Kepuasan pelanggan merupakan faktor kunci dalam meningkatkan kualitas layanan di PT. Rajawali Berdikari Indonesia. Dengan perkembangan teknologi, diperlukan metode yang lebih akurat untuk menganalisis dan memprediksi skor kepuasan pelanggan guna meningkatkan pengalaman layanan. Permasalahan analisis kepuasan pelanggan memiliki tantangan utama dalam menangkap pola interaksi yang bersifat temporal. Pendekatan tradisional kurang efektif dalam memahami pola perubahan kepuasan pelanggan secara dinamis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model prediksi kepuasan pelanggan menggunakan algoritma Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory (BiLSTM). Model ini diharapkan mampu memberikan prediksi yang lebih akurat dibandingkan algoritma lain seperti C4.5 dan Random Forest Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan CRISP-DM yang mencakup pemahaman bisnis, pengolahan data, pemodelan, evaluasi, dan implementasi. Dataset yang digunakan mencakup variabel durasi percakapan, jumlah pesanan, dan performa agen. Model dikembangkan menggunakan teknik machine learning dan diuji menggunakan metrik evaluasi seperti akurasi dan F1-score. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model BiLSTM memiliki akurasi tertinggi sebesar 94%, lebih baik dibandingkan model C4.5 (74%) dan Random Forest (88%). Implementasi model ini dapat membantu perusahaan dalam meningkatkan strategi layanan pelanggan secara lebih proaktif dan efektif.

Abstract

A Zoo is a green open space that used to maintain welfare and exhibit animals for the public. Visitors who come to the zoo reach thousands of people a day and some of them are families who want to have recreation. The enthusiasm of visitors can be seen from visitors who want to give food to animals even though it is prohibited because it is dangerous and the animals have a predetermined diet. This study aims to make a vending machine in the form of purchasing tickets for feeding animals at the zoo with the working principle of a vending machine that implements finite state automata. The method used in this study consists of five stages, the first stage is problem identification, the second stage is system design using UML, the third stage is FSA design using state diagrams, the fourth stage is FSA testing using JFLAP, and the last stage is design of vending machine. The conclusion obtained from this study is that the application of the FSA concept to the pet food ticket vending machine can make transactions as many as 6 animal feeding schedules, this can be useful in adding services to the zoo.
