Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengetahui kelayakan, kepraktisan, serta efektivitas media pembelajaran Tic Tac Toe Matematika pada materi bilangan berpangkat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analyze, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Subjek penelitian adalah 28 siswa kelas VIII C MTs Ma’arif 1 Punggur. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi lembar validasi ahli, angket respons siswa, serta tes pretest dan posttest. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa media memperoleh persentase 94% dari ahli materi dan 94,28% dari ahli media dengan kategori sangat valid. Kepraktisan media berdasarkan angket respons siswa memperoleh persentase 81% dengan kategori sangat menarik. Efektivitas media berdasarkan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (< 0,05), yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara hasil pretest dan posttest. Selain itu, hasil analisis N-gain sebesar 0,7756 (77,56%) termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, media pembelajaran Tic Tac Toe dinyatakan valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi bilangan berpangkat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) yang didukung oleh media flipchart terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa SMP. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa akibat dominasi metode pembelajaran konvensional dan berpusat pada guru. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-eksperimental menggunakan desain kelompok kontrol non-ekuivalen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Ma'arif 1 Metro, dengan sampel dua kelas yang dipilih melalui sampling acak berkluster: kelas VIII B sebagai kelas eksperimen (TSTS dengan flipchart) dan kelas VIII A sebagai kelas kontrol (pembelajaran konvensional). Data dikumpulkan melalui tes keterampilan komunikasi matematika dalam bentuk pertanyaan deskriptif. Validitas instrument diuji melalui penilaian ahli dan reliabilitasnya diukur menggunakan Cronbach's Alpha. Analisis prasyarat meliputi uji normalitas dan homogenitas, diikuti dengan uji hipotesis menggunakan t-test sampel independen. Hasil menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan pada skor post-test antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, dengan nilai signifikansi 0.003 < 0.05. Selain itu, perhitungan ukuran efek menghasilkan nilai 0,80 yang termasuk dalam kategori “tinggi”. Oleh karena itu, penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif TSTS yang berbantu media flipchart memiliki dampak yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi matematika siswa dibandingkan dengan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Model ini direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif inovatif bagi guru matematika untuk menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi siswa.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika pada materi operasi hitung bilangan cacah di sekolah dasar masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, seperti rendahnya pemahaman konsep, kesalahan perhitungan, serta kurangnya motivasi belajar siswa akibat penggunaan metode konvensional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh penggunaan permainan Sudoku terhadap kemampuan operasi hitung bilangan cacah siswa kelas V MI Wali Songo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen melalui desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji normalitas (Shapiro-Wilk), uji homogenitas (Levene Test), serta uji hipotesis menggunakan Paired Sample T-Test dan Independent Sample T-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan pada kelas eksperimen dengan selisih rata-rata sebesar 23,48, lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol sebesar 5,32. Uji Independent Sample T-Test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (< 0,05) dengan selisih rata-rata sebesar 18,88. Dengan demikian, permainan Sudoku terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan operasi hitung bilangan cacah siswa. Hasil ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi permainan edukatif dapat menjadi strategi inovatif dalam pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the pedagogical strategies employed by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in building noble character (akhlakul karimah) among students at SMA Riyadlul Ulum Sukoharjo, North Lampung, as a response to the growing phenomenon of moral degradation among adolescents. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive approach with a phenomenological design, data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with the principal and PAI teachers, and documentation study. The findings reveal an integrated implementation of five core instructional strategies: (1) direct instruction through interactive lectures and role modeling; (2) indirect instruction via religious culture habituation; (3) interactive instruction through reflective group discussions; (4) independent study using daily moral journals; and (5) experiential learning through social activities and student organizations. These strategies effectively fostered discipline, honesty, and responsibility, supported by a strong school culture, although social media remained a primary inhibiting factor. The study concludes that the synergy of these five pedagogical approaches provides a holistic framework for internalizing moral values, transforming them from abstract concepts into daily behavioral habits. These results imply that character building in secondary schools requires a collaborative ecosystem between structured teaching, personal reflection, and real-world practice to effectively address modern moral challenges.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in shaping the social transformation attitudes of students, not only in the ritual aspect but also in their concern for the Islamic boarding school environment. PAI learning is expected to foster social awareness and collective responsibility of students through the internalization of religious values ​​in everyday life. This study aims to analyze the planning, implementation, and evaluation of PAI learning in shaping the social transformation attitudes of students at the Bumi Sholawat Safinatun Najaa Islamic Boarding School. The study used a qualitative field approach with observation, interview, and documentation techniques, as well as data analysis through reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the learning plan has included the value of social responsibility through the material of fiqh thaharah and morals, but it is still normative. The implementation of learning uses the bandongan, sorogan, lecture, and exemplary methods, but the internalization of social values ​​is still instructive. Evaluation is carried out through observation of student behavior without formal instruments. The attitude of social transformation of students is seen in participation in environmental cleanliness activities, although it is still influenced by Islamic boarding school rules. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning contributes to shaping the social awareness of students, but requires strengthening contextual and participatory approaches so that religious values ​​can encourage independent and sustainable changes in social behavior

Abstract

The Wai Tubang custom is a matrilineal inheritance system in Semende society, where inheritance is passed on to the eldest daughter. This research aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic educational values in the Tunggu Tubang custom and its impact on the character education of the younger generation of Semende. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation of traditional stakeholders, religious leaders and local communities. The research results show that the Tunggu Tubang custom contains Islamic educational values, such as responsibility, justice, trust, and social care. The implementation of these values is reflected in the role of Wait Tubang children in maintaining family harmony, caring for inheritance, and guiding other family members. Supporting factors in implementing this custom include the strong influence of the Islamic religion and the role of customary holders, while the main challenge is social and economic change which causes a shift in values in society. Overall, the Tunggu Tubang custom contributes to the character formation of the younger generation of Semende by instilling Islamic educational values in everyday life. Therefore, efforts to preserve this custom need to be supported by an approach that is in line with current developments, so that it remains relevant in building individual character based on Islamic values.
