Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 juga telah merubah tatanan sistem pendidikan di seluruh dunia, hal ini mengakibatkan terjadinya penutupan lembaga pendidikan seperti sekolah dan juga perguruan tinggi secara total. Dimasa pandemi covid-19, lembaga pendidikan harus dituntut untuk mengadopsi model pembelajaran terbaik agar proses pembelajaran tetap berlangsung. Salah satu solusi yang bisa diterapkan oleh lembaga pendidikan agar proses pembelajaran bisa berjalan dengan baik adalah dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran blended learning. Metode yang diterapkan dalam riset ini merupakan meta analisis. Peneliti mengkaji 10 artikel, dimana artikel yang digukan merupakan hasil pencarian melalui google scholar dan aplikasi publish or perish. Dari hasil analisis Implementasi model pembelajaran blended Learning dimasa pandemi Covid-19 berdampak signifikan terhadap hasil belajar, ditunjukkan dengan size effect size 1,23 dalam kategori sedang. Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa tergolong tinggi, dengan rata-rata hasil 10 sampel naik menjadi 77,45 dari yang sebelumnya 56,88. Dari data tersebut terlihat adanya peningkatan yang jelas yaitu 20,57. Artinya model pembelajaran blended Learning ini berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar selama penerapannya dimasa pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to produce learning media mobile interactive on the Basics of Electronics Engineering subject which is valid and practical for class X students at SMK Negeri 2 Solok. The method used in this research is method Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D development model consisting of 4 stages, namely Define (Definition), Design (Planning), Develop (Development), and Disseminate (Dissemination). This research uses an instrument in the form of a questionnaire. This questionnaire will be filled out by material experts and media experts in the validity test and filled in by students in the practicality test. Based on data acquisition and processing, this research obtained the following results. First, the results of material validation by material experts are in the "Valid" category with a total validity value by the three material validators of 0.967 and the results of media validation by media experts are in the "Valid" category with a total validity value by the three media validators of 0.967. Second, at the practicality test stage by students involving 15 students obtained a practicality percentage of 95.67% which was categorized as "Very Practical". Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that interactive mobile learning media using Smart App Creator is suitable for use as interactive learning media in learning because it has been proven to be valid and practical.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat kontribusi Pelaksanaan Praktik Kerja Lapangan dan Nilai Praktik Kerja Lapangan terhadap Kesiapan Kerja Siswa dengan populasi sebanyak 32 orang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian ex-post facto, yaitu suatu penelitian yang dilakukan untuk meneliti peristiwa yang telah terjadi dan kemudian merunut kebelakang melalui data tersebut untuk menentukan faktor-faktor yang mendahului atau menentukan sebab-sebab yang mungkin atas peristiwa yang diteliti. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan non probability sampling dengan sampling jenuh sehingga total sampel sebanyak 32 orang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat kontribusi Pelaksanaan Praktik Kerja Lapangan terhadap Kesiapan Kerja Siswa sebesar 91,4% sedangkan sisanya 8,6% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti oleh peneliti. Kemudian hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat kontribusi Nilai Praktik Kerja Lapangan terhadap Kesiapan Kerja Siswa sebesar 85,2% sedangkan sisanya 14,8% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti oleh peneliti. Selanjutnya hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat kontribusi Pelaksanaan Praktik Kerja Lapangan dan Nilai Praktik Kerja Lapangan terhadap Kesiapan Kerja Siswa sebesar 91,7% sedangkan sisanya 8,3% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti oleh peneliti.

Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) technologies have revolutionized numerous sectors, enhancing efficiency, innovation, and convenience. However, AI's rise has highlighted a critical concern: bias within AI algorithms. This study uses a systematic literature review and analysis of real-world case studies to explore the forms, underlying causes, and methods for detecting and mitigating bias in AI. We identify key sources of bias, such as skewed training data and societal influences, and analyze their impact on marginalized communities. Our findings reveal that algorithmic transparency and fairnessaware learning are among the most effective strategies for reducing bias. Additionally, we address the challenges of regulatory frameworks and ethical considerations, advocating for robust accountability mechanisms and ethical development practices. By highlighting future research directions and encouraging collective efforts toward fairness and equity, this study underscores the importance of addressing bias in AI algorithms and upholding ethical standards in AI technologies.

Abstract

This paper presents an innovative smart key system designed to enhance the safety and convenience of hotel guests. The system employs an iterative, agile approach encompassing the phases of requirement analysis, design, implementation, and testing. Key components of the input circuitry include limit switches, RFID-RC522 and SW420 vibration sensors, which collectively gather data. This data is processed using an Arduino Uno microcontroller and integrated with internet of things (IoT) technology. On the output side, the system incorporates a solenoid lock and is capable of promptly notifying users via Telegram in response to unauthorized access attempts. Importantly, the system can distinguish between vibrations caused by unauthorized entry and those from legitimate usage. Rigorous testing validates its efficacy, issuing Telegram alerts promptly when detecting security breaches. This technological advancement significantly enhances hotel room security, providing an intelligent real-time solution. The fusion of IoT, Arduino microcontroller, and precise sensor configuration underscores the system's reliability, setting new benchmarks for security in the hospitality sector. The comprehensive approach detailed in this paper offers valuable insights applicable to a wide range of security applications.

Abstract

This study conducts a comprehensive bibliometric analysis and visual exploration of the chat generative pre-trained transformer (ChatGPT) literature in 2023, focusing on its trends, challenges, and applications in education. Using RStudio for bibliometric analysis and VOS viewer for data visualization, this study examines publications from the Scopus database. Following the preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and metaanalyses (PRISMA) guidelines, the systematic review process reinforces the robustness of the analysis. The finding reveals notable trends in the utilization of ChatGPT. Key insights underscore ChatGPT’s increasing role in enhancing engagement, facilitating personalized learning, and fostering student creativity and critical thinking. However, its integration into education encounters obstacles, including ethical considerations, issues of academic honesty, and the imperative for precise usage guidelines; notable applications of ChatGPT encompass language learning, tutoring, automated feedback provision, and functioning as a virtual assistant. These applications showcase ChatGPT’s potential to reshape the educational landscape by introducing innovative pedagogical methods and enriching the student experience. This combined bibliometric and visual analysis provides a comprehensive view of the current status of ChatGPT within the educational domain. It provides a snapshot of the role of ChatGPT in education, offering valuable insights for future research endeavors.

Abstract

This research aims to apply the SMART method (Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique) as a System Decision Support (SPK) in selecting activities extracurricular for students at the Singosari Education Foundation Delitua. The SMART method is applied to analyze criteria such as physical condition, medical history, interests, talents, and achievements, ensuring that students are matched with the most suitable extracurricular activities. Data collection was carried out through interviews and observations, followed by system design and testing. The research findings demonstrate that the SMART method successfully optimizes the decision-making process, enhances efficiency, and improves student satisfaction in extracurricular selection.

Abstract

Learning in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution requires innovation in learning, one of which is through learning media. E module is a learning media that is more efficient and flexible than conventional media. E-modules that are integrated with appropriate learning models can help achieve optimal learning outcomes. This research aims to develop an electronic module (e-module) for Computer Network Practicum based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and Peer Tutoring (PT) and test its effectiveness in enhancing 21st-century skills among students. The research method applied is Research and Development (R&D), with module validity and practicality evaluated by experts and students. Effectiveness testing is conducted by comparing post-test results between the experimental group using PBL and PT e-modules and the control group using conventional worksheets. The research findings indicate that the developed e-module has strong validity, is easy to implement, and is effective in improving 21st-century skills among students. The post-test results of the experimental group are also significantly higher than those of the control group. The implications of this research are significant contributions to the development of technology-based teaching materials to enhance the quality of computer network practicum learning. The implementation of PBL and PT strategies in the e-module can be an effective alternative in designing teaching materials oriented towards the development of 21st-century skills, serving as a guide for educators and curriculum developers to enhance innovative learning approaches across various subjects.

Abstract

TRACKME adalah sebuah aplikasi presensi online yang dirancang berbasis Global Positioning System (GPS) dan platform Android dengan tujuan meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi dalam pencatatan kehadiran karyawan. Model perancangan dalam penelitian menggunakan pendekatan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). aplikasi ini memanfaatkan teknologi GPS untuk melacak lokasi secara real-time, mengurangi kesalahan manusia, dan mempercepat proses pencatatan. Melalui pengujian BlackBox, seluruh fungsionalitas aplikasi telah terverifikasi sesuai dengan skenario pengujian, menunjukkan hasil yang baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi mampu meningkatkan efisiensi dalam pencatatan kehadiran dengan memanfaatkan teknologi GPS dan foto selfie untuk verifikasi kehadiran. Potensi pengembangan lebih lanjut mencakup penggunaan teknologi pelacakan alternatif, penambahan fitur manajemen waktu, dan ekspansi ke platform lain. Dengan demikian, penggunaan teknologi GPS dan platform Android membuktikan bahwa aplikasi TRACKME dapat menjadi solusi efektif dalam memecahkan masalah pengelolaan kehadiran karyawan. Diharapkan, aplikasi ini dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam memperbaiki sistem presensi di berbagai sektor, sambil terus mengembangkan fitur-fitur tambahan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitasnya.Kata kunci : TRACKME; Sistem Presensi Online; Android; GPS; ADDIE. TRACKME is an online attendance application designed based on GPS and Android platform with the aim of enhancing efficiency and accuracy in employee attendance recording. Developed using the ADDIE design model, this application utilizes GPS technology to track locations in real-time, reducing human errors, and expediting the recording process. Through BlackBox testing, all functionalities of the application have been verified according to the test scenarios, demonstrating promising results. The research findings indicate that application can improve efficiency in attendance recording by leveraging GPS technology and selfie photos for attendance verification. Further development potential includes exploring alternative tracking technologies, adding time management features, and expanding to other platforms. Thus, the utilization of GPS technology and the Android platform validates TRACKME application as an effective solution for addressing employee attendance management challenges. It is anticipated that this application will significantly contribute to enhancing attendance systems across various sectors, while continuously evolving with additional features to improve efficiency and effectiveness.Keywords: TRACKME; Online Attendance System; Android, GPS, ADDIE.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah meningkatkan layanan publik di berbagai bidang, termasuk rumah sakit. Namun, antrian pada layanan rawat jalan tetap menjadi tantangan akibat keterbatasan kapasitas dan proses administrasi manual. RSUD Pasaman Barat menerapkan sistem pendaftaran online berbasis WhatsApp, namun sistem ini kurang efektif karena petugas masih harus memasukkan data secara manual. Penelitian ini mengembangkan aplikasi berbasis web menggunakan metode SDLC Fountain untuk mempercepat proses pendaftaran pasien rawat jalan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan aplikasi ini berhasil menurunkan waktu tunggu pasien dan meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dengan skor kelayakan 95% dari ahli, yang menunjukkan fungsionalitas dan desain yang ramah pengguna. Aplikasi ini dinilai cocok untuk diimplementasikan dalam operasional rumah sakit guna mendukung peningkatan kualitas pelayanan kesehatan.Kata kunci : Pendaftaran rawat jalan, SDLC Fountain, Laravel, Website, Pengujian Black boxThe development of information technology has enhanced public services in various fields, including hospitals. However, queuing for outpatient services remains a challenge due to limited capacity and manual administrative processes. RSUD Pasaman Barat implemented an online registration system via WhatsApp, but it is less effective as staff still need to manually enter data. This study developed a web-based application using the SDLC Fountain method to expedite the outpatient registration process. Testing results show that this application successfully reduces patient waiting times and improves operational efficiency, with a feasibility score of 95% from experts, indicating user-friendly functionality and design. The application is deemed suitable for implementation in hospital operations to support improved healthcare service quality.Keywords: Outpatient Registration, SDLC Fountain, Laravel, Web, Black box Testing
