Abstract

This article aims to explain the evaluation of the online learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic at the teaching and education faculty of the University of Lampung using the CIPP model. From this study, it can be concluded that the level of achievement of the implementation of the online learning process on the context component obtained an average score of 4.17 (83.59%) with a good category; the input component obtained an average score of 3.973 (80.04%) with good category; the process component obtained an average score of 3,798 (76.88%) with sufficient category. This means that the implementation of online learning is still not able to overcome obstacles such as the uneven distribution of internet services that can be accessed by students in the application of online learning. as well as the speed of internet network access which is still slow and product components that get an average score of 4,107 (82.13%) in the good category. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the implementation of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic is quite good.Keywords: online learning, Covid-19 pandemic, CIPP Model. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v22i2.pp179-187

Abstract

The advancements in 5G technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) have accelerated the integration of immersive technologies such as Extended Reality (XR) into educational practices. There is a notable scarcity of studies focusing specifically on the applications and impact of XR in academic settings. Most existing research has concentrated on AR and VR, leaving a gap in understanding the full potential of XR. Addressing these gaps and challenges is crucial for harnessing the full potential of XR in education. This study aims to map and analyze the applications, trends, and educational challenges of XR technology. This study conducts a bibliometric analysis covering XR's application in education from 2018 to 2023, analyzing 32 articles from Scopus sources. Key findings highlight XR's annual growth in research publications, with significant contributions from the United States, China, and Canada. XR enriches education by facilitating immersive simulations, real time interaction with virtual objects, and spatial manipulation in three dimensions. It fosters presence and embodiment in virtual environments, supports practical training through realistic simulations, enhances multi-sensory engagement, promotes collaborative learning environments, and improves accessibility for diverse learners. The main challenges of XR technology include high costs, technical hurdles, regulatory issues, infrastructure limitations, and the need for digital literacy and skills. Addressing these challenges, collaborative efforts among educators, researchers, and industry stakeholders are required. Such collaboration is crucial for harnessing the full potential of XR technology to revolutionize education and prepare learners for a dynamic future.

Abstract

This paper introduces the first adversarial reinforcement learning (ARL) framework for resilient cloud resource optimization under dynamic and adversarial conditions. While traditional reinforcement learning (RL) methods improve adaptability, they fail when faced with sudden workload surges, security threats, or system failures. To address this, we propose an ARL-based approach that trains RL agents using simulated adversarial perturbations, such as workload spikes and resource drops, enabling them to develop robust allocation policies. The framework is evaluated using synthetic and real-world Google Cluster traces within an OpenAI Gym-based simulator. Results show that the ARL model achieves 82% resource utilization and a 180 ms response time under adversarial scenarios, outperforming static policies and conventional RL by up to 12% in terms of cost-effectiveness. Statistical validation (p0.05) confirms significant improvements in resilience. This work demonstrates the potential of ARL for self-healing cloud schedulers in production environments.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan aplikasi game edukatif berbasis Android bernama EduQuiz IT Smart sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif untuk mata pelajaran Informatika kelas X di SMA Negeri 3 Sungai Penuh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) yang terdiri atas enam tahap, yaitu initiation, pre-production, production, testing, beta, dan release. Aplikasi dikembangkan menggunakan Adobe Animate 2023 dengan bahasa pemrograman ActionScript 3.0 serta terintegrasi dengan Realtime Database untuk penyimpanan skor dan data pengguna. Pengujian dilakukan melalui black box testing dan User Acceptance Testing (UAT) untuk menilai fungsionalitas, tampilan, materi, kinerja, dan daya tarik aplikasi. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh fitur berfungsi sesuai rancangan, sedangkan nilai rata-rata UAT mencapai 94,1% dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa EduQuiz IT Smart mudah digunakan, menarik, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi serta pemahaman siswa terhadap materi Informatika. Aplikasi ini juga memenuhi standar kualitas perangkat lunak ISO/IEC 25010 (2011) dalam aspek functional suitability, usability, performance efficiency, dan reliability. Dengan demikian, EduQuiz IT Smart dinyatakan layak secara teknis dan pedagogis sebagai media pembelajaran digital inovatif di era pendidikan berbasis teknologi.

Abstract

This study developed and evaluated an integrated Internet of Things (IoT)-based access control system that unifies residential gate operation, garage door automation, and garage lighting within a single platform. Conventional home automation deployments typically address only one function at a time, resulting in fragmented control and limited interaction between subsystems. Compared to prior smart home implementations that focus on single subsystems, the proposed platform jointly manages gate, garage door, and lighting and reports scenario-based reliability metrics. To address this gap, the proposed system used an ESP32 microcontroller as the central controller, ultrasonic distance sensors for vehicle detection, servo motors for mechanical actuation, and a relay module for lighting control. A mobile application built with the Blynk platform provided real-time monitoring and remote control via smartphone. The prototype was tested under three scenarios-manual mobile control, fully automatic sensor-triggered operation, and combined operation-with 20 repeated cycles per scenario. Performance metrics included servo actuation time, communication latency between the mobile application and the ESP32, sensor accuracy, and operational reliability. The gate and garage door achieved opening times of approximately 1.0-1.2 s and 1.5 s, respectively, while end-to-end communication latency remained between 300 ms and 480 ms across all tests. Ultrasonic distance measurements showed a maximum error of 1.8 cm and an average error below 1.2 cm, with no system failures in any scenario. These results demonstrate that the integrated design is technically feasible, reliable, and suitable as a cost-effective foundation for residential access control.  Future work will focus on scaling the prototype toward full-size installations and extending integration with additional smart home services.

Abstract

Penjadwalan bimbingan tugas akhir merupakan aspek penting dalam proses akademik di perguruan tinggi, khususnya di Departemen Teknik Elektronika Universitas Negeri Padang. Namun, sistem penjadwalan yang ada saat ini masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, seperti bentrokan jadwal dan kurangnya pencatatan yang terstruktur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem penjadwalan bimbingan tugas akhir berbasis website dengan menggunakan algoritma Constraint Satisfaction Problem (CSP) yang dikombinasikan dengan algoritma Greedy. Pendekatan ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi kendala penjadwalan dengan mempertimbangkan berbagai batasan yang ada, sehingga dapat meningkatkan efisiensi penjadwalan, mengurangi kesalahan atau bentrokan jadwal, serta mendukung kelancaran administrasi dalam mengelola proses bimbingan tugas akhir. Metode prototype digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem ini untuk menghasilkan model yang dapat diuji dan disempurnakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dikembangkan berhasil meningkatkan efisiensi penjadwalan, mengurangi konflik jadwal, dan memperbaiki komunikasi antara dosen dan mahasiswa. Selain itu, sistem ini dilengkapi dengan fitur pencatatan bimbingan digital yang memungkinkan mahasiswa untuk memantau kemajuan tugas akhir secara lebih terstruktur. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam mengoptimalkan proses bimbingan yang lebih terorganisir di perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Layanan customer service berperan penting dalam perbankan sebagai penghubung antara nasabah dan institusi keuangan. Di Bank Nagari, layanan ini masih didominasi metode konvensional seperti kunjungan langsung atau sambungan telepon yang memiliki keterbatasan waktu operasional dan rentan antrean panjang. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini mengembangkan chatbot multimodal berbasis teks dan suara yang dapat diakses kapan saja untuk memberikan informasi layanan bank secara cepat dan interaktif. Pengembangan sistem menggunakan metode Prototyping dengan tiga tahap utama: Listen to Customer, Build/Revise Mock-up, dan Customer Test Drives Mock-up. Sistem dirancang dengan integrasi React.js (frontend), Go + Gin (backend), AWS Transcribe (speech-to-text), Google Text-to-Speech, serta modul NLP berbasis SBERT dan Random Forest. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan model memiliki akurasi keseluruhan 96,26%, dengan nilai precision, recall, dan f1-score rata-rata 0,96. Sistem mampu mengenali intent pengguna dan memberikan respons otomatis baik dari input teks maupun suara, serta memenuhi kriteria kemudahan penggunaan, kecepatan respons, dan akurasi pemahaman konteks. Implementasi chatbot ini berpotensi meningkatkan kualitas layanan nasabah Bank Nagari secara signifikan.
