Abstract

Social media has become an integral part of the educational life of higher education students in Indonesia. Its use provides a variety of benefits, ranging from facilitating access to information, collaboration between students, to facilitating the exchange of ideas. However, in the perfection of its benefits, social media also poses serious challenges related to digital ethics, including the problem of cyberbullying, the spread of hoaxes, and privacy violations. Research on the impact of social media use shows a significant influence on learners' behaviour and achievement, both positive and negative. The importance of paying attention to how learners interact, manage content, and their adherence to digital ethics rules and norms is highlighted. Through an in-depth understanding of the usage patterns and impact of social media on students' ethics, this research aims to provide important insights for students, lecturers, and educational policy makers. It is hoped that the results of this research will not only provide a foundation for responsible policies on social media use in educational settings, but also trigger students' awareness of the impact of their online behaviour on the real world.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ketahanan beberapa varietas jagung (Zea Mays L.) terhadap penyakit bulai (Peronosclerospora philippinensis) di Desa Bungung Loe, Kab. Jeneponto yang berlangsung dari bulan Mei sampai Juli 2022. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah percobaan yang disusun berdasarkan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK). Dengan perlakuan tehadap 5 varietas jagung hibrida (V5: Bisi 18, V4: Betras, V3: Anoman, V2: Pioner 27, dan V1: NK Sumo). Analisis data menggunakan semua variabel yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan analisi varian sesuai dengan rancangan percobaan yang digunakan, jika pengaruh perlakuan berbeda nyata, maka dilanjutkan dengan uji lanjut Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) pada taraf nyata 5% untuk mengetahui pengaruh antar perlakuan. Dari hasil penelitian varietas jagung hibrida mendapatkan persentase hasil V1: NK Suma sebanyak 19% (tahan), V2: Pioner 27 sebanyak 35% (agak tahan), V3: Anoman sebanyak 27% (agak tahan), V4: Betras sebanyak 31% (agak tahan), dan V5: Bisi 18 sebanyak 14% (tahan). Maka maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa varietas bisi 18 dengan persentase terendah termasuk kategori varietas tahan terhadap serangan penyakit P. philippinensis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mengetahui dan menganalisis Pengaruh Kompetensi, Lingkungan Kerja dan Budaya Organisasi secara parsial Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Dinas Tenaga Kerja Dan Transmigrasi Kabupaten Maros, 2) mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh Kompetensi, Lingkungan Kerja dan Budaya Organisasi secara simultan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Dinas Tenaga Kerja Dan Transmigrasi Kabupaten Maros, 3) mengetahui dan menganalisis variabel paling dominan pengaruhnya terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Dinas Tenaga Kerja Dan Transmigrasi Kabupaten Maros.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Dinas Tenaga Kerja Dan Transmigrasi Kabupaten Maros. Metode yang digunakan adalah survey lapangan dengan kuisioner sebagai instrumen pendukung. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 72 responden. teknik yang digunakan untuk menetukan sampel adalah sampel jenuh atau sensus. Data dianalisis dengan Regresi Linear Berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) Secara sendiri-sendiri atau parsial, bahwa faktor Kompetensi, Lingkungan Kerja dan Budaya Organisasi mempunyai pengaruh secara bermakna atau signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawaiDinas Tenaga Kerja Dan Transmigrasi Kabupaten Maros 2) Secara parsial, tiga faktor atau variabel yang menjadi analisis penelitian yaitu faktor Kompetensi, Lingkungan Kerja dan Budaya Organisasi mempunyai pengaruh bermakna dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Dinas Tenaga Kerja Dan Transmigrasi Kabupaten Maros, 3) Dari ketiga faktor tersebut, faktor yang paling dominan pengaruhnya adalah Budaya Organisasi, kemudian disusul oleh Kompetensi diposisi kedua, dan terakhir adalahlingkungan kerja.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan dan motivasi melalui disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja Guru. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 50 orang dan ditentukan berdasarkan teknik sampel jenuh, dimana semua elemen populasi dijadikan sampel. Teknik Analisis data yang digunakan ini adalah analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan: (1) Kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja Guru. (2) Motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja Guru. (3) Kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja Guru (4) Motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja Guru. (5)Disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja Guru. (6)Kepemipinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja Guru Sekolah Dasar melalui disiplin kerja. (7)Kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja Guru Sekolah Dasar melalui disiplin kerja.

Abstract

Aviation Security (AVSEC) officer still frequently discover dangerous goods in passenger luggage, such as scissors, knives, small gas cylinders, machetes/swords, razors, gas lighters, cutlery, a power bank that exceeds the limit, sea shells, pink sand, and marine life in the Prohibited Item category. Researchers also discovered that many passengers were bringing alcoholic beverages that were not labeled and exceeded the specified standards. This research aims 1) To discover how Aviation Security (AVSEC) officers play a part to aviation security and safety at Komodo Labuan Bajo Airport. 2) To determine what equipment is required to support Security Check Point (SCP) two in maintaining aviation security and safety at Komodo Labuan Bajo Airport. 3) To find out how Komodo Labuan Bajo Airport Aviation Security (AVSEC) officers handle dangerous explosive materials. This research uses qualitative methods. Data collection is carried out by observation methods, interviews, and documentation which are then carried out data analysis using data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study reveal that 1) Aviation Security Officers (AVSEC) have a very important role in ensuring flight security and safety, 2) Passenger inspections on SCP 2 are carried out Security checks on SCP 2 must be supported by inspections with flight security aids, where inspections This is done by using X-Ray machine tools, Walk Through Metal Detector (WTMD), and Hand Hel Metal Detector (HHMD), 3) Aviation Security Officers (AVSEC) in handling explosives that are considered dangerous to all parties must carry out regular inspections. strict restrictions on passengers and goods that enter the area at Komodo Labuan Bajo Airport to prevent the transportation of prohibited and dangerous goods and can be used to threaten safety and security.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of high school students at SMK Negeri 1 Bulukumba through the use of educational videos created with Adobe Premiere Pro. The research methodology employed is classroom action research, conducted in two cycles of data collection through experimentation, observation, and recording, following the steps of Action, Plan, Do, Observe, and Reflect, each consisting of two parts. The collected data were then analyzed using descriptive analysis. Based on the study's findings, it can be concluded that the application of Adobe Premiere Pro-based educational videos significantly enhances students' learning outcomes. In the 1st Cycle, the average learning achievement was 72.8, with 14 students achieving a 56% success rate. In the 2nd Cycle, the average increased to 91.7, with 22 students achieving an 88% success rate, indicating that they passed the minimum competency criteria (KKM) standard for class VII.A/1 students at SMK Negeri 1 Bulukumba. These results demonstrate the effectiveness of integrating multimedia tools in classroom settings to foster better academic performance and engagement among students.

Abstract

This research was developed to provide a more efficient and accurate solution in assisting the process of selecting student specializations. This research aims to help schools determine whether or not specializations are appropriate for students. The method used in this research is the Weighted Product (WP) Method. This method was chosen because it is capable of solving multi-criteria problems and providing specialization recommendations based on accurate criteria weight calculations. Next, the data that has been collected will be entered into a decision support system that has been created using the Weighted Product method. This Decision Support System will calculate the weight scores and criteria that have been determined. It is hoped that the results of this research can help schools provide specialization options that suit students' interests and abilities. The application test results and questionnaire test results are categorized as feasible based on the research success table and implementation This decision support system application shows that this application runs well through functional testing and produces the expected output.

Abstract

This research focuses on analyzing power losses due to load imbalance in the medium-voltage distribution network in Pasar Aceh. The aim is to determine the magnitude of power losses that occur at the distribution substation in Pasar Aceh. The research method involves analysis, calculations, and simulations using the ETAP 12.6 software. The results of the analysis indicate that load imbalance in the Pasar Aceh substation leads to power losses. The Trafo Samping Pasar Aceh experiences power losses of 0.77% with a load imbalance of 16.33%. The second transformer in the BNI 46 area incurs power losses of 0.98% with a load imbalance of 30.33%, and the transformer in the BLKG KOTTY area has power losses of 1.17% with a load imbalance of 50.33%. These findings affirm that the greater the load imbalance, the higher the resulting power losses in the electrical distribution network.

Abstract

Background: Hypertension is a trigger factor for stroke, research shows that people with hypertension end up having a stroke. Cultivating self-awareness is very important in preventing complications from an illness. Lack of knowledge and ability to identify signs and symptoms of stroke early is the cause of delays in treatment during the golden period (Galvani et al, 2022).Objective: To identify the level of knowledge before and after education on early stroke detection in hypertension sufferers.Method: using descriptive with a case study approach. This research was carried out in several stages, namely: identifying before providing health education, providing health education, identifying after providing health education using video media to patients with the aim of increasing knowledge in an effort to detect early stroke.Results: 40% of them had knowledge that could be categorized as “Fair”, while 60% had knowledge that could be categorized as “Good”.

Abstract

This case study probes the medical journey of Mrs. H, a 34-year-old female diagnosed with acute gastroenteritis and post-syncope. Her condition, marked by severe vomiting, dehydration, and repeated fainting spells, is thoroughly examined through an in-depth exploration of her presenting symptoms and medical history. This examination presents a comprehensive view of her health, considering potential diagnoses against her symptoms and medical history. Mrs. H’s medical history reveals a chronic struggle with Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), which necessitated hospitalization on three occasions. The study also addresses nursing interventions implemented during her hospital stay, including hydration, symptom management, and patient education. The role of these interventions in her recovery is highlighted. The study concludes with a discussion on the discharge planning process, which ensures a smooth transition from the hospital to her home. These findings offer valuable insights into the management of acute gastroenteritis and post-syncope, highlighting the importance of comprehensive patient care that addresses both physical symptoms and psychological needs.
