Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang 1) pemanfaatan internet, lingkungan, dan motivasi belajar; 2) pengaruh pemanfaatan internet, lingkungan dan motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar siswa mata pelajaran dasar kompetensi kejuruan kompetensi keahlian teknik audio video SMK Negeri se-Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Metode yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data adalah kuesioner dan tes. Teknik analisa data dalam penelitian ini adalah statistik deskriptif dan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) kecenderungan pemanfaatan internet siswa terdapat pada kategori cukup; 2) lingkungan siswa terdapat pada kategori cukup; 3) motivasi belajar siswa terdapat pada kategori cukup; 4) prestasi belajar siswa terdapat pada kategori cukup. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa 1) terdapat pengaruh antara pemanfaatan internet terhadap prestasi belajar siswa; 2) terdapat pengaruh antara lingkungan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa; 3) terdapat pengaruh antara motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar siswa; 4) terdapat pengaruh antara pemanfaatan internet, lingkungan, dan motivasi belajar secara bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajar siswa mata pelajaran dasar kompetensi kejuruan kompetensi keahlian teknik audio video SMK Negeri se-Kabupaten Gunungkidul. THE EFFECT OF INTERNET USE, ENVIRONMENT AND LEARNING MOTIVATION ON THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE STUDENTS OF SMKAbstractThis study aims to gain a general description about 1) the use of the Internet, the environment, and learning motivation on the achievement of the students; 2) the effect of the Internet use, environment, and learning motivation on the achievement of the students of the basic subject vocational competencies, audio video engineering, state SMK’s in Gunungkidul Regency. The methods used in collecting the data were questionnaires and test. The data analysis was a descriptive statistic and regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that 1) the trend of using the Internet is in the sufficient category; 2) the environment is in the sufficient category; 3) the learning motivation is in the sufficient category; 4) the achievement is in sufficient category. The result of hyothesis testing shows that 1) there is an effect of the Internet use on the achievement; 2) there is an effect of the environments on the achievement; 3) there is an effect of learning motivation on the achievement; 4) there is an effect of the Internet use, the environment, and the learning motivation on the achievement of the students of the basic subject of vocational competency audio video engineering, state SMK’s in Gunungkidul Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ; (1) minat siswa SMP masuk SMK di Kota Pontianak; (2) pengaruh pemahaman diri terhadap minat siswa SMP masuk SMK di Kota Pontianak; (3) pengaruh lingkungan terhadap minat siswa SMP masuk SMK di Kota Pontianak; (4) pengaruh citra SMK terhadap minat siswa SMP masuk SMK di Kota Pontianak; dan(5) pengaruh pemahaman diri, lingkungan dan citra SMK yang memengaruhi terhadap minat siswa SMP masuk SMK di Kota Pontianak secara bersama-sama. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah ex-post facto.Populasi Penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX SMP di Kota Pontianak yang berjumlah 8000 orang. Penentuan ukuran sampel menggunakan table Issac Michael. Daritable yang disediakan dengan taraf kesalahan5%,diperoleh sampel sebesar350 orang. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik clauster random sampling,pengumpulan datamenggunakan angket. Teknik analisa data dalam penelitian ini adalah statistik deskriptif yang digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan data masing – masing variabel dan analisis regresi yang digunakan untuk pengujian hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa (1) minat siswa SMP masuk SMK terdapat kategori baik dengan rata-rata skor 41,79; (2) terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara pemahaman diri terhadap minat siswa SMP masuk SMK di Kota Pontianak dengan nilai r=0,743; p= 0,000; (3) terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara lingkungan terhadap minat siswa SMP masuk SMK di Kota Pontianak dengan nilai r=0,527; p=0,000; (4) terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara citra SMK terhadap minat siswa masuk SMK dengan nilai r= 0,678; p= 0,000; dan (5) terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara pemahaman diri, lingkungan, dan citra SMK secara bersama-sama terhadap minat siswa SMP masuk SMK di Kota Pontianak. Prediksi perubahan Y ditunjukan oleh persamaan garis regresi Y = -8,735 + 0,749 X1 + 0,126 X2 + 0,453 X3. FACTORS AFFECTING JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS’ INTEREST IN STUDYING AT VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN PONTIANAK CITYAbstractThis study aims to investigate: (1) junior high school (JHS) students’ interest in studying at vocational high schools (VHSs) in Pontianak City, (2) the effect of self-understanding on JHS students’ interest in studying at VHSs in Pontianak City, (3) the effect of the environment on JHS students’ interest in studying at VHSs in Pontianak City, (4) the effect of the VHS image on JHS students’ interest in studying at VHSs in Pontianak City, (5) the effects of the self-understanding, environment, and VHS image as an aggregate on JHS students’ interest in studying at VHSs in Pontianak City. Abstract

This study aimed to develop students' creativity through troubleshooting learning models in practical electro-pneumatic. This study was conducted during the Covid 19 pandemic where learning was carried out online. This troubleshooting practice learning is applied to simulation applications so that it can be a solution in implementing learning that cannot be carried out directly. This study used a quasi-experimental researched method with a controlled group pretest-posttest design pattern. The sample consisted of 60 students majoring in mechanical engineering, State University of Semarang was divided into two classes. The experimental class applies the troubleshooting-based practical learned model, while the controlled class implements practice learned without using the troubleshooting learned model. Based on the research result, the pretest mean value in the experimental group was 76.26 with a standard deviation of 11.97, while the pretest mean value in the control group was 74.53 with a standard deviation of 10.31. Meanwhile, the posttest mean score in the experimental group was 77.5 with a standard deviation of 7.62, while the posttest mean score in the control group was 64 with a standard deviation of 8.84. The average post-test score in the experimental group is higher than the control group so it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of the experimental class using a troubleshooting-based practical learning model are higher than the control class where troubleshooting learning models are not implemented in electro-pneumatic practice

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, dan (2) untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa agar tercapainya ketuntasan klasikal pada mata pelajaran pemograman dasar siswa kelas X jurusan Multimedia di SMKN 2 Sumbawa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart (Perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X Multimedia SMKN 2 Sumbawa, NTB yang berjumlah 34 orang melibatkan guru dan seorang observer. Data motivasi dan nilai sikap diambil menggunakan angket. Data keterlaksanaan proses pembelajaran diambil dengan menggunakan lembar observasi. Data nilai pengetahuan dan unjuk kerja diambil menggunakan skala penilaian yang dilengkapi dengan rubrik. Teknik analisis data motivasi dan nilai sikap menggunakan analisis deskriptif kemudian digolongkan kedalam skor baku untuk mengkategorisasikan motivasi belajar dan nilai sikap. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pengunaan modul pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. (2) penggunaan modul dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar (nilai sikap, nilai pengetahuan dan praktik). IMPROVING MOTIVATION AND LEARNING OUTCOMES IN BASIC PROGRAMMING USING MODULES IN SMKN 2 SUMBAWAAbstractThis research aims to: (1) improve student’s motivation and (2) improve student’s learning outcomes to achieve the classical completeness on basic programming course in class X Multimedia majors at SMKN 2 Sumbawa. This research is a classroom action research that uses Kemmis and Mc. Taggart (planning, implementation, observation, and reflection) models. Subjects in this study is the tenthgrade of Multimedia students at SMKN 2 Sumbawa NTB amounting to 34 people involving teachers and an observer. The motivation data and value of attitude were taken using a questionnaire and the data of learning process was taken using observation sheets. The knowledge and performance values were taken using a assessment scale which was equipped with a rubric. The data analysis technique of motivation and value of attitude used descriptive analysis and were classified into raw scores to categorize the value of learning motivation and attitudes. The result of this research are as follows: (1) Using learning module can improve student’s motivation. (2) Using learning module to improve learning outcomes (attitudes, knowledge and practices).

Abstract

Abstract: An Analysis of the Validation of the Quality Achievement Tests in the Learning Program Implementation. This study aims to investigate the test types developed by FE YSU, the steps of the development and validation, and the quality based on theories. This study was a survey involving 192 lecturers who taught basic science and technology subjects in the odd semester of 2008/2009. The sample, consisting of 92 lecturers, was selected using the proportional random sampling technique. The data were collected through documents and questionnaires and analyzed using the descriptive quantitative technique. The results showed that 1) 55.42% of the lecturers developed essays tests for measuring learning achievement, 13.03% developed objective tests, and 31.55% combined both; 2) in the test development process, 35.87% made the test blue-prints and 23.92% did not; only 13.59% developed new tests, 2.74% used old tests, and 46.19% combined the old tests with the new ones; 3) 54.89% rechecked the tests and 3.73% did not, 25.50% rechecked the tests by themselves and 17.85% rechecked the tests with group members of the same subject, 2.18% had other lecturers fully check the tests, 32.85% rechecked the essay tests, 11.18% rechecked the objective tests, and 91% rechecked mostly the relevance between the test and the learning competence; and 4) theoretically, 87% of the tests developed by lecturers were good in terms of the essence of the test quality. However, there were still some weaknesses in the clarity or the function of pictures and the scoring procedure of each test item (in essay test) and the homogenity of the option length (in objective tests). Abstract

AbstractThe effort of preparation manpower quality can be done not only by vocational education but also by other institutions. The output quality of vocational education has been valued that it is not enough optimum in the some qualification of business and industrial sectors. So that, the kind of this school has been improving continuously its performance to increase output quality.Many kinds of the programs have been applicated likes link and match education system, life skill programe and nowadays the Competency Based Curriculum is being actively socialized. By implementing this curriculum will be expected that students learning outcome or the output of educational processcan support the competencies criterion which had been formulated.Being able to evaluate the competencies as students learning outcome is needed the acccurate and proper of evaluation system. In this case, the Basic Classroom Evaluation which is one of the components of Competency Based Curriculum must be payed attention. Abstract

Tujuan umum penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan model teoretis penguatan soft skills dengan tujuan khusus untuk mendapatkan gambaran profil aktual soft skills, mendapatkan gambaran pembekalan soft skills, dan merumuskan model teoretis penguatan soft skills calon guru kejuruan profesional berkarakter. Penelitian ini dipecahkan melalui desain RD. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertama, terdapat 68 dimensi soft skills yang diklasifikasi ke dalam lima dimensi utama, yakni jujur dan dapat dipercaya, tanggung jawab, disiplin, keteladanan, serta ketaatan terhadap etika; kedua, keunggulan calon guru adalah percaya diri, materi pembelajaran mutakhir, pemanfaatan IT, dan ketrampilan mengajar, sedangkan kelemahannya tampak dalam komunikasi interaktif dengan siswa, kurangnya disiplin, tanggung jawab, serta komunikasi dan inovasi; ketiga, pola penanaman soft skills dilakukan terhadap enam unsur, yakni kurikulum, pembelajaran, iklim akademik, kegiatan kemahasiswaan, kepemimpinan dan manajemen, serta hubungan sinergis dengan pemangku kepentingan, khususnya dunia usaha/industri

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan model penguatan soft skills dalam mewujudkan calon guru kejuruan profesional berkarakter. Penelitian  dirancang dengan menggunakan  pendekatan  Researchand  Development selama dua tahun. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini meliputi kepala SMK, guru, mahasiswa, dan ahli pendidikan. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian meliputi hal-hal berikut ini. Pertama, rumusan model penguatan soft skills calon guru difokuskan kepada dua mata kuliah utama, yakni pengajaran mikro dan PPL dengan model integratif. Kedua, urgensi aspek hard skills dan soft skills berada dalam kategori baik/penting dengan pencapaian rerata di atas  rerata kriteria, dan pencapaian skor masing-masing 88,2%, dan 87,11%. Ketiga, kemampuan aspek hard skills dan soft skills berada dalam kategori baik/penting dengan pencapaian rerata atas rerata kriteria,dan pencapaian skor masing-masing 72,81%, dan 74,11% dalam kategori cukup tinggi

Abstract

The study is aimed at describing: (1) characteristics of the items of the national examination try-out test of the accounting subject matter in the 2015/2016 academic year on classical test theory and modern test theory; and (2) classification of students’ masteries in the learning of accounting. The study is explorative research. Analyses are conducted using the classical and modern test theories for item characteristics and descriptive quantitative for students’ masteries in accounting using the test set for the national examination try-out in the 2015/2016 academic year. A total of 414 students do the Package A test. Results show that (1) based on the classical test analyses, a number of 11 items (27.5%) belong to the “easy” category, 22 items (55%) “medium” category, and 7 items (17.5%) “difficult” category allowing a total of 19 (47.5%) to be categorized as good items; meanwhile, on the modern-theory analyses, a total of 34 items (85%) belong to the “good” category. (2) Around 38% of the students have competencies of the medium and low categories. Most students have difficulty in answering questions of the higher-order thinking levels.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) bidang-bidang karir yang banyak diminati mahasiswa D-3; (2) bidang karir yang kurang diminati oleh mahasiswa D-3 Program Studi Teknik Mesin Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei. Populasi penelitian adalah semua mahasiswa D-3 Program Studi Teknik Mesin FT-UNY angkatan tahun 2005, 2006 dan 2007 yang berjumlah 359 orang. Jumlah sampel ditetapkan dengan menggunakan pedoman dari Krecjic dan Morgan untuk taraf kesalahan 5% yaitu 180 orang. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode stratified proporsional random sampling dengan proporsi masing-masing strata sebesar 50%. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket yang berisi “A Self-Inventory for Career Planning”. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dalam bentuk presentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) bidang-bidang karir yang banyak diminati oleh mahasiswa D-3 teknik mesin FT-UNY adalah: karir dalam bidang pekerjaan manajerial (managerial work), pekerjaan yang memerlukan kreativitas (creative work), pekerjaan mekanistik (mechanical work), dan Pekerjaan yang berhubungan dengan fisik, banyak menggunakan tangan (physical work). Bidang-bidang karir yang kurang diminati oleh mahasiswa D-3 teknik mesin FT-UNY adalah karir dalam bidang pekerjaan yang menangani pemeliharaan dokumen (clerical work), pekerjaan yang banyak berhubungan dengan orang lain (interpersonal work), pekerjaan di bidang baca dan tulis (written work) dan pekerjaan verbal/lisan (oral work).
