Abstract

Advertising and incentive dynamics play a crucial role in marketing strategies to increase sales of superior products. Effective advertising can strengthen consumer awareness of brands and products, while incentives can provide additional encouragement for consumers to choose certain products. However, it is important to understand how the interaction between advertising dynamics and incentives influences consumer preferences and retailer strategies. This research aims to analyze the influence of advertising dynamics and incentives on consumer preferences and retailer strategies in increasing sales of superior products. The research method used is qualitative using literature analysis and case studies. Data sources used include scientific journals, articles and books that are relevant to the research topic. The research results show that advertising dynamics and incentives have a significant influence on consumer preferences and retailer strategies. Effective advertising can create greater awareness of superior products and influence consumer behavior, while incentives can be a determining factor in consumer purchasing decisions. Good integration of advertising, incentives, and dilution strategies can create a holistic, integrated marketing experience for consumers, which can increase product awareness, preference, and purchases.

Abstract

Counterproductive Work Behavior (CWB) in customer service is the focus of attention in the context of human resource management and customer service strategy. This phenomenon has a significant impact on organizations, including decreased customer satisfaction, financial losses, and damage to brand reputation. However, a deep understanding of the factors that influence CWB in customer service and its impact on organizations is still limited. This research aims to explore the factors involved in CWB in customer service and their impact on organizations. In addition, this research also aims to provide better insight into how management can address CWB in customer service to improve organizational performance. The research method used in this research is qualitative. Data was collected through literature studies involving journals, articles and books related to CWB in customer service. Data analysis was carried out by identifying and analyzing the main findings related to the factors that influence CWB and its impact on the organization. The research results show that there are various factors that influence CWB in customer service, including individual, organizational and situational factors. These factors include the level of job stress, job satisfaction, work culture, incentive systems, time pressure, and conflict interactions with customers. The impact of CWB on organizations includes reduced customer satisfaction, financial loss, damage to brand reputation, disruption to operational efficiency, and damage to work culture.

Abstract

This article explores the effectiveness of da’wah bi al-qalam, the method of Islamic preaching through writing, using Sheikh Muhajirin's Miṣbāḥ Al-Ẓalām book as a case study. The qualitative approach involves text analysis, documentation, and literature study. The structuralism theory by Roland Barthes is employed for data analysis. The Miṣbāḥ Al-Ẓalām book, while primarily a syarah Bulugh al-Maram, serves as a medium for conveying diverse da’wah messages addressing various aspects of human life, including sharia, aqidah, and ikhtilaf. Historically, da’wah bi al-qalam existed since the time of Prophet Muhammad but gained prominence with technological advancements. Although Sheikh Muhajirin's contributions are significant, the method faces challenges such as limited attention and creativity. Addressing these issues is crucial to project Sheikh Muhajirin's thoughts into effective solutions, considering the needs and challenges of the contemporary era. While da’wah bi al-qalam may have its weaknesses, its potential impact on a global scale requires greater recognition and commitment from Muslim scholars to enhance its effectiveness in addressing the diverse religious problems faced by Muslims today. Abstrak Artikel ini mengeksplorasi efektivitas dakwah bi al-qalam, metode dakwah Islam melalui tulisan, dengan menggunakan buku Miṣbāḥ Al-Ẓalām karya Syekh Muhajirin sebagai studi kasus. Pendekatan kualitatif melibatkan analisis teks, dokumentasi, dan studi literatur. Teori strukturalisme oleh Roland Barthes digunakan untuk analisis data. Kitab Miṣbāḥ Al-Ẓalām, meskipun pada dasarnya merupakan syarah dari kitab Bulughul Maram, berfungsi sebagai media untuk menyampaikan pesan dakwah yang beragam yang mencakup berbagai aspek kehidupan manusia, termasuk syariah, aqidah, dan ikhtilaf. Secara historis, dakwah bi al-Qalam telah ada sejak zaman Nabi Muhammad, namun semakin populer seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi. Meskipun kontribusi Syekh Muhajirin cukup signifikan, metode ini menghadapi tantangan seperti kurangnya perhatian dan kreativitas. Mengatasi masalah ini sangat penting untuk memproyeksikan pemikiran Syekh Muhajirin ke dalam solusi yang efektif, dengan mempertimbangkan kebutuhan dan tantangan di era kontemporer. Meskipun dakwah bi al-qalam mungkin memiliki kelemahan, potensi dampaknya dalam skala global membutuhkan pengakuan dan komitmen yang lebih besar dari para cendekiawan Muslim untuk meningkatkan efektivitasnya dalam mengatasi berbagai masalah keagamaan yang dihadapi umat Islam saat ini.

Abstract

The world of education in the era of 4.0 is experiencing very rapid development wherethe role of education actors also continues to be updated. Rapid technological advances requireeducation actors to adjust. Advances in all-digital technology provide various conveniences incarrying out activities and can be carried out without being hindered by distance. Education actorsincluding principals and teachers who are the spearhead of education must make reforms in order toadapt to the era of globalization. Traditional leadership styles are felt to need to be updated withappropriate leadership styles, namely e-leadership that can improve teacher performance. However,the limited ability of the principal in mastering Technology, Information and Communication is anobstacle even though this is the basis for e-leadership. The government program was launched ondigitalization of education where the government will prepare schools and education actors toorganize digital-based learning to welcome the digital era. The problem lies in the competence ofhuman resources who are incompetent in facing the digitalization of education and also otherobstacles. The objective of this study should be to determine the extent to which e-leadershipinfluences teacher performance quality. This is quantitative descriptive study, and the instrument isin the form of a questionnaire. Techniques for data analysis include descriptive quantitative dataanalysis. The data's validity is determined by its dependability and validity. The findings revealedthat e-leadership had a beneficial impact on teacher performance. Path analysis reveals that thefactors of technology, information, and communication skill have a considerable impact on teacherperformance, with a positive connection direction.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the efforts made by the South Sumatra Ulu Script Lovers' Association in introducing the Ulu Script to the public through the creative industry, specifically batik. The research used a case study research method, conducted over four months, with the primary data source being the Ulu script. The motivation for this research is the limited public knowledge about the Ulu script and the innovative approach taken by the South Sumatra Ulu Script Lovers' Association in introducing the script through batik. The findings of the study are as follows: First, the South Sumatra Ulu Script Lovers' Association introduced the Ulu Script through the creative industry, namely batik. Second, the community was introduced to the Ulu script through learning and developing the script. Third, the community was introduced to natural dyes for creating batik motifs derived from the Ulu script. Fourth, the batik motifs based on the Ulu script included the Ulu Bunga Enim Motif, the Ulu Kujur Motif, the Ulu Komering Dam Bridge Motif, the Ulu Duku Komering Tree Motif, the Ulu Ampera Bridge Motif, and the Ulu Dragon Motif.

Abstract

AbstractGlobalisation trends and free trade have emerged as catalysts for the internationalisation of higher education institutions. The internationalisation of PTKI has primarily been spearheaded by State Islamic University (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta and UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, particularly within their Postgraduate Programs (PPs). However, the efficacy of these initiatives necessitates critical review and evaluation, hence the imperative for this research. This qualitative, multi-case study employs internationalisation as the unit of analysis, gathering data through documentary studies and in-depth interviews. Following verification, reduction, and categorisation, the data were analysed utilising discourse and thematic techniques. This study focuses on the Postgraduate Schools (SPs) of UIN Jakarta and UIN Yogyakarta. The findings reveal that indicators of internationalisation across various dimensions, including management, teaching and educational staff, students, research, collaboration, and international reputation, have been pursued by the SPs of UIN Jakarta. However, one notable absence is the provision of international study programs at both the master’s and doctoral levels, a feature already present within the PPs of UIN Yogyakarta.AbstrakTren globalisasi dan perdagangan bebas telah menjadi salah satu pendorong bagi internasionalisasi lembaga pendidikan tinggi. Internasionalisasi Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam (PTKI) telah diinisiasi, dirancang, dan bahkan diimplementasikan oleh Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta dan UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, khususnya Program Pascasarjana mereka. Namun, implementasinya perlu ditinjau kembali dan dievaluasi; oleh karena itu, ini adalah urgensi dari penyelenggaraan penelitian ini. Penelitian ini adalah studi kualitatif dan multi kasus di mana internasionalisasi digunakan sebagai unit analisis yang mengarah pada pengumpulan data melalui studi dokumen dan wawancara mendalam. Setelah verifikasi, reduksi, dan kategorisasi, data dianalisis menggunakan teknik diskursus dan tematik. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah Program Studi (PSs) UIN Jakarta dan UIN Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa indikator internasionalisasi lembaga pendidikan tinggi dalam Manajemen, pengajaran dan staf pendidik, mahasiswa, penelitian, kerjasama, dan reputasi internasional telah dilakukan dan terus dikejar oleh Program Pascasarjana (SPs) UIN Jakarta. Satu indikator yang absen dari SPs UIN Jakarta adalah program studi internasional baik pada tingkat magister maupun doktoral. Abstract

This study investigates the role of digital transformation strategy (DTS) and enterprise architecture program (EAP) in enhancing the performance of private higher education institutions (PTS) in LLDIKTI Region IV, West Java, and Banten. Key factors analyzed include university ranking requirements (URR), government regulation (GR), emerging technology (ET), and university governance capability (UGC). Data were collected from 200 PTS leaders using probability sampling and analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling. Findings indicate that URR, GR, ET, and UGC positively influence DTS. DTS significantly strengthens EAP but does not directly impact institutional performance. The study emphasizes the synergy between DTS and EAP to optimize resource management and improve Tridharma activities, ultimately enhancing institutional performance. This research contributes to understanding the strategic alignment necessary for effective digital transformation in higher education.

Abstract

Penerapan manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3), khususnya budaya K3 berdasarkan ISO 45001:2018, sangat penting dalam memastikan praktik kerja yang aman dalam industri manufaktur pestisida. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan fenomena efektivitas implementasi Budaya K3 dan Kepemimpinan implikasinya terhadap motivasi dan kinerja karyawan di perusahaan Manufaktur “X”. Metode penelitian ini peneliti dilapangan menggunakan instrumen wawancara dan survey kuesioner kepada beberapa responden diantaranya sebagai 1). Owner dan Direksi di perusahaan X, 2). Manager / Head Department, 3). Tim P2K3 dan 4). Karyawan dimana jumlah informan adalah 7 orang dan responden survey kuesioner berjumlah 17 orang. Proses analisis hasil data dilapangan, peneliti menggunakan alat bantu Software NVivo 12 Plus yang mempunyai kemampuan coding dalam pengolahan data penelitian kualitatif, dimana analisis data mencakup parameter Budaya K3, Kepemimpinan, Motivasi dan Kinerja Karyawan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Budaya K3 berdampak besar pada Kepemimpinan dimana komitmen pimpinan menjadi tolak ukur terbentuknya budaya K3, Budaya K3 juga berdampak besar bagi motivasi dan kinerja karyawan. Perspektif budaya K3 dan Kepemimpinan, penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya sosialisasi kebijakan K3 kepada seluruh karyawan dimana pimpinan atas komitmennya juga sebagai teladan penerapan budaya K3, pentingnya pembuatan program K3 disetiap departemen dan pemberian apresiasi dalam rangka peningkatan motivasi dan kinerja karyawan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa untuk meningkatkan efektivitas budaya K3, perusahaan perlu memperbaiki komunikasi antar departemen, meningkatkan keterlibatan pimpinan dalam program K3, serta memberikan apresiasi yang lebih baik kepada karyawan. Hal ini sejalan dengan prinsip-prinsip yang terdapat dalam ISO 45001:2018, yang menekankan pentingnya kepemimpinan dan partisipasi pekerja dalam pengelolaan K3.
