Abstract

ABSTRAKLatar Belakang: Menyusui adalah cara paling efektif menjaga kesehatan bayi. Capaian ASI eksklusif menurut Data WHO, Profil Kesehatan Indonesia tahun 2022 dan Provinsi Jawa Barat bertururt-turut, 44%, 56,9% dan 59,4%. Data Dinas Kesehatan Kota Bekasi tahun 2021 didapatkan capaian ASI ekslusif Kota Bekasi sebesar 50,3%, sedangkan capaian UPTD Puskesmas Marga Jaya adalah 22,78% dan merupakan puskesmas dengan capaian ASI eksklusif  rendah di Kota Bekasi.Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan umur, pendidikan, pekerjaan, pengetahuan, sikap ibu, kondisi fisik payudara ibu, teknik perawatan bayi baru lahir, dukungan keluarga dan dukungan tenaga kesehatan  dengan keberhasilan pemberian ASI eksklusif pada ibu menyusui di wilayah UPTD Puskesmas Marga Jaya Kota Bekasi tahun 2022.Metode: Penelitian menggunakan metode survey melalui pendekatan cross sectional dan teknik pengambilan sampel dengan total sampling sebanyak 62 responden ibu bayi usia 6-11 bulan,  menggunakan uji Chi-Square.Hasil: Responden yang berhasil ASI eksklusif sebanyak 53,2%, ibu dengan umur 20-35 tahun sebanyak 74,2%, 62,9% ibu dengan tingkat pendidikan menengah dan tinggi, 80,6% ibu rumah tangga, 93,5% pengetahuan ibu mengenai ASI eksklusif baik, sikap ibu terhadap ASI eksklusif positif sebanyak 69,4%, 90,3% kondisi fisik payudara ibu normal, 80,6% teknik perawatan bayi baru lahir gabung, 69,4% dukungan keluarga mendukung dan 58,1% mendapat dukungan tenaga kesehatan.  Tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna antara umur ibu (p=0,778), pendidikan ibu (p=0,354), pekerjaan ibu (p=0,372), pengetahuan ibu mengenai ASI eksklusif (p=0,332), sikap ibu terhadap ASI eksklusif (p=0,243), kondisi fisik payudara ibu (p=0,405), teknik perawatan bayi baru lahir (p=0,372), dukungan keluarga (p=0,243) dan dukungan tenaga kesehatan (p=0,143) dengan keberhasilan pemberian ASI eksklusif.Simpulan: Tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna antara umur ibu, pendidikan ibu, pekerjaan ibu, pengetahuan ibu mengenai ASI eksklusif, sikap ibu terhadap ASI eksklusif, kondisi fisik payudara ibu, teknik perawatan bayi baru lahir, dukungan keluarga dan dukungan tenaga kesehatan dengan keberhasilan pemberian ASI eksklusif.Kata Kunci: ASI Eksklusif; kondisi payudara ; pengetahuan ibu; dukungan keluarga; tenaga kesehatan.ABSTRACTBackground: Breastfeeding is the most effective way to keep infant’s healthy. Data of WHO for 2022 shows 44% of infant get exclusive breastfeeding. Indonesia's health profile data for 2022 states the national exclusive breastfeeding coverage is 56.9% and West Java Province is 59.4%. The data of Dinas Kesehatan Bekasi City in 2021, it was found that the achievement of exclusive breastfeeding for Bekasi City was 50.3%, while the achievement of the UPTD Puskesmas Marga Jaya was 22.78%, which is the puskesmas with the low achievement exclusive breastfeeding in Bekasi City.Objective : To find out the relationship between age, education, occupation, knowledge. mother’s attitude, physical condition of mother’s breasts, newborn care techniques, family support and health worker support with the success of exclusive breastfeeding for breastfeeding mothers in the UPTD Puskesmas Marga Jaya Bekasi City in 2022. Methods: The research used a survey methode through a cross sectional approach and a sampling technique by total sampling, 62 respondents, mothers of 6-11 month’s infants and using a Chi-Square test.                                           Results: The research found that 53.2% respondents succeeded in giving exclusive breastfeeding, 74.2% mothers aged 20-35 years, 62.9% mothers with secondary and higher education levels, 80.6% housewife, 93.5% had good knowledge of mothers about exclusive breastfeeding, 69.4% had positive attitudes about exclusive breastfeeding, 90.3% had normal physical condition of the mother's breasts, 80,6% technique care for newborn rooming in, 69.4% had family support supported and 58.1% had received support from health workers. There was no significant relationship between mother's age (p=0.778), mother's education (p=0.354), mother's occupation (p=0.372), mother's knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding (p=0.332), mother's attitude about exclusive breastfeeding (p=0.243 ), physical condition of the mother's breast (p=0.405), newborn care techniques (p=0.372), family support (p=0.243), support from health workers (p=0.143) with the success of exclusive breastfeeding.Conclusion: There is no significant relationship between mother's age, mother's education, mother's occupation, mother's knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding, mother's attitude about exclusive breastfeeding, physical condition of mother's breast, newborn care techniques, family support and health worker support with the success of exclusive breastfeeding.Keywords: Exclusive breast feeding; the physical condition of mother's breasts; mother’s knowledge;  family support; health worker.

Abstract

Penyelenggaraan makanan darurat di lakukan sebagai salah satu upaya penanggulangan kejadian bencana seperti tanah longsor, banjir, gempa bumi, kebakaran, kemarau panjang dan lainnya. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di bulan November-Desember. Mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah masyarakat korban gempa di wilayah Cianjur yang terletak di Desa Ciherang, Kabupaten Cianjur, Kecamatan Pacet. Adapun subjek utama dalam kegiatan ini adalah relawan yang ditugaskan di Desa Ciherang, Kabupaten Cianjur, Kecamatan Pacet berjumlah 15 peserta dengan latar belakang gizi dan 5 peserta latar belakang non gizi. Kegiatan ini terdiri dari 3 tahapan yaitu sosialisasi, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), dan praktik (observasi). Kegiatan sosialisasi dilakukan selama 60 menit, pemaparan 20 menit dan diskusi 40 menit dengan memberikan materi penyelenggaraan makanan darurat. Kegiatan ini dilakukan berkelompok pada saat pembagian kelompok di lapangan. FGD ini dilakukan selama 30 menit sebelum melakukan pekerjaan dilapangan. Setelahnya, dilakukan evaluasi akhir kegiatan selama 30 menit. Penyelenggaraan dapur umum relawan dengan menyajikan makanan untuk makan utama 3 kali dan 2 kali snack. Malam hari melayani relawan yang secara accidental membutuhkan asupan makan atau minum. Berdasarkan pelatihan didapat adanya peningkatan pengetahuan terhadap manajemen penyelenggaraan makanan darurat untuk tim relawan. Namun demikian, perlu penyesuaian keterbatasan bahan makanan agar dapat memberikan pelayanan makanan darurat yang bergizi seimbang. Kata Kunci : Dapur-darurat, Edukasi, Penyelenggaran-makanan-darurat, Relawan

Abstract

Sekarang ini permintaan yogurt nabati berbahan dasar kacang-kacangan mengalami peningkatan, didasari atas perhatian masyarakat terhadap berbagai masalah kesehatan. Kara benguk (Mucuna pruriens) adalah jenis kacang lokal yang berpotensi dijadikan sebagai bahan dasar pembuatan yogurt nabati karena kandungan gizinya yang tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi nilai gizi dan antioksidan yogurt nabati berbahan dasar kara benguk yang difermentasi menggunakan variasi kultur starter berbeda. Yogurt nabati jenis set-yogurt dibuat dengan melarutkan tepung kara benguk dengan air (1 : 6 b/v), kemudian ditambah 3% bubuk skim, 3% sukrosa, dan 1% fruktooligosakarida (FOS). Selanjutnya dihomogenisasi, ditempatkan dalam wadah botol gelas, dan disterilisasi pada suhu 121°C selama 15 menit. Proses inokulasi dilakukan dengan memasukkan sebanyak 3% dari kultur starter yang telah diformulasikan ke dalam yogurt steril dan diinkubasi pada suhu 37°C dilakukan selama 72 jam. Parameter analisis meliputi, nilai proksimat, derajat keasaman (pH), protein terlarut (% nitrogen), dan aktivitas antioksidan (% inhibisi). Perbedaan jenis kultur starter menunjukkan adanya perbedaan nyata terhadap komponen karbohidrat dan protein yogurt, nilai tertinggi masing-masing sebesar 68,55% dan 28,16%. Perbedaan jenis kultur starter dan lamanya waktu fermentasi menunjukkan perbedaan nyata terhadap konsentrasi protein terlarut, tertinggi sebesar 37,5% (kultur campuran) selama 72 jam. pH terendah dan antioksidan tertinggi ditunjukkan pada kultur starter Lactobacillus acidophilus FNCC 0051, masing-masing sebesar 3,32, dan 87,11%. Kata Kunci: kara benguk, Mucuna pruriens, yogurt nabati, Lactobacillus, fermentasi

Abstract

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a condition where the kidney(s) are damaged which is marked by the glomerular filtration rate<15mL/min/1.73m². Reports from IndonesianRenal Registry revealed that new patients undergoing hemodialysis in the Indonesian areincreasing every year. This study aims to see the health status of hemodialysis patients atMedika Hospital BSD. The design used was descriptive observational in November 2019 -February 2020, with cross sectional research design. The sampling method uses NonProbability Sampling, total samples taken was 46 respondent with age ratio >18 years to <60years old. The results showed 56.5% ureum levels >150 mg/dL, 76.1% hemoglobin levels ≤10g/dL, 71.7% malnutrition nutritional status (DMS score = >7), and 84.8% of the respondenthas bad health status. Abstract

Health is the one of readiness factors in marriage. Towards the wedding, usually the body image will be a concern. A diet to get the ideal body is often to found. The results showed that the percentage of anemia in WUS who were not married was greater than WUS who were already married. This study aimed to determine the relationship of body image, level of nutritional adequacy, nutritional status, and anemia status in premarital women.An observational study with cross sectional approach. A number of 65 respondents were selected by accidental sampling. The data were obtained through interviews using questionnaire (respondent characteristics, body shape questionare-34), anthropometric measurements (weight, height, body mass index, nutritional status), and blood sampling (hemoglobin levels). The data were analyzed using Chi-Square Test.The results showed a significant relationship between body image and anemia status (p<0,05). There was no significant relationship between the level of energy sufficiency, protein, fat, iron, zinc, and vitamin C with anemia status (p>0,05). There was no significant relationship between nutritional status and anemia status (p>0,05). The conclusion is that only body image has a significant relationship to anemia status.Key words : anemia, body image,  nutrition

Abstract

The low consumption of vegetables and fruit in school-age children is one of the unresolved nutritional problems in Indonesia. A way to improve vegetable and fruit eating behavior is to increase students' knowledge and attitudes through illustrated story book and heroic tales. The aim of this study is to find out the impact of picture books on students' knowledge and attitude. This is a quasy experimental study with Non equivalent control group with a pre-test and post-test which was followed by 97 fourth gradeelementary school students including 41 students of intervention group and 56 students of control group. The mann-whitney test is used to see whether there are  relationships between  independent variable (given of illustrated story books) and the dependent variable (knowledge and attitude) between the intervention and control groups.The results showed a significant increase in knowledge and attitudes in the group which given illustrated story book. There were also significant differences in knowledge changes between the intervention and control groups. Abstract

Menstrual disorders are caused by diet and sedentary life, stress, disease, genetic. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between the frequency of junk food consumption and menstrual cycle disorders. This study used a cross sectional design with respondents involved were WUS visiting the catin clinic at Puskesmas Duren Sawit, East Jakarta. The number of respondents was 55 people. Data analysis using chi square test. The results of the study respondents whose menstrual cycle was not normal as much as 23.6%. The youngest age of menarche was 12 years. The frequency of junk food consumption in the category of frequent consumption (7 times / week) is a group of foods / drinks containing a lot of sugar, fried foods, processed meat foods by 81.8%, 67.3%, 36.4%. The results of the chi square test showed that there was a significant relationship between the frequency of junk food consumption and menstrual cycle disorders with P <0.05. In conclusion, junk food consumption is a cause of menstrual cycle disorders and further research is needed to see the causes of menstrual cycle disorders as a whole.

Abstract

Meningkatnya jumlah anak autis diberbagai negara tidak terlepas dari munculnya berbagai permasalahan khususnya masalah gizi. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui hubungan pengetahuannibu, pola asuh, asupan energi, zattgizi makro, dan diet GFCF dengan statussgizi anak autis di SKH Yenaiz Kota Tangerang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Cross Sectional. Jumlah sampel yaitu 45 ibu dan anak penderita autis sebagai responden. Pengambilan data karakteristik responden, pengetahuan ibu dan pola asuh menggunakan kuesioner dan pengambilan data untuk asupan energi, zat gizi makro dan diet GFCF menggunakan food recall 2x24 jam. Analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah spearman rank. Hasil: Umur didominasi oleh anak 7-9 tahun, jenis kelamin paling banyak yaitu laki-laki, pendidikan ibu paling banyak yaitu SMA, pendapatan orang tua rata-rata tinggi. Pengetahuan ibu dengan median 78±2,032. Pola asuh dengan median 103±0,723. Asupan energi dengan median 1129,10±36,49. Asupan karbohidrat dengan median 159,10±5,40. Asupan protein dengan median 41,15±1,41. Asupan lemak dengan median 32,68±1,44. Status gizi anak autis dengan median -0,60±0,2097. Tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan ibu dan pola asuh dengan status gizi anak autis (p>0,05). Terdapat hubungannsignifikan antara asupan energi, zat gizi makro, dan diet GFCF dengan status gizi anak autis (p<0,05). Kesimpulan: Pada penelitian ini asupan energi, zat gizi makro dan diet GFCF berhubungan dengan status gizi anak autis di SKH Yenaiz.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Anemia merupakan permasalahan kesehatan masyarakat yang utama di dunia, terutama pada negara berkembang. Remaja putri mengalami kematangan pada system reproduksi dengan mengalami mentruasi. Siklus mentruasi yang terjadi secara berkala perlu didukung dengan asupan gizi yang memadai. Namun bila asupan zat gizinya tidak terpenuhi maka ini akan menjadi salah satu faktor resiko terjadinya anemia. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah membina kemitraan dengan masyarakat sekolah dengan mempraktekkan cara mengolah buah dan sayur sehingga kualitas kesehatan meningkat dengan terhindar dari masalah anemia dan juga membantu mengoptimalkan program TTD dari pemerintah. Metode edukasi dalam kegiatan ini berupa penyuluhan dan diskusi. Hasil yang dicapai yakni edukasi berjalan dengan lancar, hasil penilaian post test pengetahuan gizi terkait anemia lebih baik. Kegiatan edukasi pada siswi seharusnya dilakukan berkelanjutan sehingga bisa mensukseskan program TTD pemerintah. Kata Kunci: Anemia, Remaja Putri, TTD  ABSTRACT Anemia is a major public health problem in the world, especially in developing countries. Young women experience maturity in the reproductive system by experiencing menstruation. The menstrual cycle that occurs periodically needs to be supported by adequate nutritional intake. However, if the nutritional intake is not met, this will be one of the risk factors for anemia. The purpose of this community service activity is to foster partnerships with the school community by practicing how to process fruits and vegetables so that health quality increases by avoiding anemia problems and also helps optimize the government's TTD program. The educational method in this activity is in the form of counseling and discussion. The results achieved were that education ran smoothly, the results of the post-test assessment of nutritional knowledge related to anemia were better. Educational activities for female students should be carried out continuously so that they can make the government's TTD program a success. Keywords: Anemia, Adolescent Girl, TTD

Abstract

Background: Hydration results from body fluids balance, while dehydration results from body fluids imbalance. Dehydration can result from losing too much water, not drinking enough or both of these things. There are certain job who has  special needs for fluids especially who works in hot environments.Objective: To determine the relationship between knowledge, fluid intake and nutritional status with hydration status in expedition couriers.Methods: A cross-sectional design with 44 expedition couriers as the research subject. Knowledge of fluids were obtained using a questionnaire, fluid intake were obtained by interview using repeated 24-h food recall, nutritional status were obtained by using BMI and the hydration status were obtained by urine specific gravity using urinalysis reagent strips. The data was processed and analyzed using Pearson correlation test.Results: Most of the respondents had sufficient knowledge (59.1%). The average fluid intake of the respondents were 2562 mL. Most of the respondents had normal nutritional status (45.4%). Almost half of respondents has pre-dehydration (45.5%). There  were arelationship between knowledge of fluids and hydration status (p=0,0001, r=-0,514), also between fluid intake and hydration status (p=0,0001, r=-0,685). There is no relationship between nutritional status and hydration status (p=0,337, r=0,148).Conclusion: Fluid intake and hydration status on expedition couriers are still not as expected, even though expedition couriers have sufficient knowledge.
