Abstract

This devotion explores how entrepreneurs can develop their businesses within the realm of the Muhammadiyah Aisyiyah Community Service Programme (KKN-MAs). The Muhammadiyah Aisyiyah Community Service Programme (KKN-MAs) is an important breakthrough in the context of helping to solve problems faced by a village or community environment, which emphasises the empowerment of rural communities, social care, and multiplying learning experiences and expanding relationships. In addition, the purpose of the KKN-MAs programme is to train students before entering the workforce, and also to provide a platform for students to explore the implementation of their knowledge for approximately six semesters. This research used a mixed-methods approach, involving document analysis, interviews, and case studies to investigate the strategies used by entrepreneurs to grow their businesses, which were concretely applied in the context of MSME digitalisation in the KKN-MAs programme. The findings of this community service identified challenges and potential improvements in developing MSMEs, particularly in Kragilan Village. The results of this study contribute to MSME entrepreneurs' understanding of digitalisation

Abstract

The low quality of mathematics learning that has an impact on the lack of improvement in students' mathematics abilities is the main reason for implementing the lesson study community service activity of applying math city maps in mathematics learning. Due to this reason, the activity was carried out using a procedure that includes the stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation. The success of the community service activity was analyzed using a questionnaire on the success and satisfaction of partners distributed to 13 mathematics teachers at Majene regency. The results of the activity showed a positive influence of the activity on teachers where the average evaluation aspect reached a percentage of 88.3%. From the results of the implementation of the activity, it was also concluded that teachers were interested in implementing lesson study as an initial step in improving the quality of students' mathematics learning

Abstract

This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach which aims to determine Mathematical Reasoning Ability in terms of students' Self efficacy regarding Circle Equation Material at SMA Negeri 13 Bone class XII MIPA. The data processed is the result of interviews with 1 (one) student who has high self-efficacy, 1 (one) student who has moderate self-efficacy, 1 (one) student who has low self-efficacy. The data collection methods used were observation, interviews, and mathematical reasoning ability tests. The results of this study show that students' Self efficacy influences the Mathematical Reasoning ability of students at SMA Negeri 13 Bone. Based on the interview results, subjects who have high self-efficacy can complete five of the five indicators of mathematical reasoning ability, subjects who have moderate self-efficacy can complete three of the five indicators of mathematical reasoning ability, subjects who have low self-efficacy can complete two of the five indicators of reasoning ability mathematics, which means that the better the students' self-efficacy, the better their mathematical reasoning abilities will be.

Abstract

Mathematic literacy is important in children from an early age because mathematics plays a very important role in everyday life. Introducing mathematical concepts early, building strong numeracy skills and involving students in meaningful mathematical activities. The purpose of this service is to reinforce mathematical literacy through integrated matriculation of the environment for children in the Tamo Dhua environment. Matriculation activities were carried out for 5 days for children in the Tamo Dhua Environment consisting of grades I to VII to strengthen children's mathematical literacy by teaching mathematical concepts and linking them to examples of everyday life. The results of this service activity are that children's mathematical literacy has increased, children increasingly like mathematics and children are very enthusiastic about participating in the matriculation activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) berbantuan media pembelajaran Powtoon lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Penelitian dilaksanakan di UPTD SMA Negeri 1 Campalagian pada tahun ajaran 2024/2025 dengan subjek penelitian kelas XII IPS 1 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas XII IPS 2 sebagai kelompok kontrol, dengan total populasi sebanyak 157 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika dan lembar observasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan inferensial dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS 25. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai pretest kelompok eksperimen sebesar 26,84, sedangkan kelompok kontrol sebesar 24,13. Pada hasil posttest, kelompok eksperimen memperoleh rata-rata 73,03, sementara kelompok kontrol sebesar 62,13. Hasil analisis inferensial menggunakan uji Independent Sample t-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,0015 < 0,05 sehingga  ditolak dan  diterima, yang berarti kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT berbantuan media Powtoon lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the perceptions of prospective mathematics teachers regarding proof-based learning from four aspects: conceptual understanding, the relevance of proofs in teaching, the challenges faced, and confidence in teaching proofs. Data were collected using a questionnaire completed by 65 students of the Mathematics Education Study Program at Unsulbar who took the Modern Algebra course in the 2024/2025 academic year. The results show that the majority of students recognize the importance of proofs for deepening mathematical understanding and as a reasoning tool. They also view proofs as relevant material for teaching in secondary schools. However, students reported difficulties in understanding the language and steps of proofs, as well as limitations in guidance. Additionally, the students' confidence level in teaching proofs was moderate, with many feeling pedagogically unprepared. These findings indicate the need for structured proof materials, intensive guidance, and specialized pedagogical training to enhance students’ abilities and confidence in teaching proofs. The implementation of hands-on practical experiences in secondary schools is also strongly recommended to support the readiness of prospective teachers.

Abstract

Hasil penelitian dari beberapa sumber menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi siswa di Indonesia masih tergolong rendah. Hal ini terlihat dari evaluasi yang dilakukan oleh Progress in International Reading Literacy Study (PIRLS) pada tahun 2011 mengenai kompetensi literasi siswa menunjukkan bahwa Indonesia menduduki peringkat ke-42 dari 45 negara. Berdasarkan anjuran pemerintah melalui Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Permendikbud) Nomor 23 Tahun 2015 tentang Penumbuhan Budi Pekerti luhur kepada peserta didik dengan mengembangkan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS). Salah satu upaya pada GLS ini adalah dengan penerapan pojok baca di kelas guna menumbuhkan budaya literasi siswa. Penerapan pojok baca untuk menumbuhkan budaya literasi ini dilakukan di SMPN SATAP Lenggo melalui tiga tahapan utama yaitu, tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi. Berdasarkan diskusi dengan kepala sekolah dan guru di SMPN Satap Lenggo diketahui bahwa penerapan pojok baca di ruang kelas membuat siswa lebih termotivasi untuk datang ke sekolah dan telah meningkatkan minat membaca siswa. Meningkatnya minat baca siswa ditunjukkan dari antusiasmi tinggi siswa dengan hadirnya pojok baca, frekuensi membaca siswa meningkat, siswa senang saat mambaca, dan kesadaran siswa akan manfaat penting dari membaca. Selain itu, beberapa indikator literasi telah terlaksana dengan penerapan pojok baca di SMPN Satap Lenggo. Hal ini terlihat dari jumlah dan variasi buku bacaan yang telah meningkat lewat pemeliharaan buku yang sebelumnya tidak terawat, frekuensi siswa membaca di pojok baca meningkat, terlaksananya berbagai aktivitas untuk meningkatkan budaya literasi, dukungan sekolah dan masyarakat dalam pembuatan pojok baca, dan digunakannnya hasil karya kreatif siswa untuk menghias ruangan kelas. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pojok baca telah mampu menumbuhkan budaya literasi di SMPN Satap Lenggo.

Abstract

Technological advances have a significant impact on the transformation of libraries from traditional to digital libraries. Digital libraries are sources of educational information that provide various digital collections in the form of books, journals, articles and others including literacy and numeracy. The literacy and numeracy skills of students in Indonesia are currently still very low and students still rarely use technology as an information medium to solve mathematical problems. Therefore, the Mathematics Education Study Program of the University of West Sulawesi formed a community service team to improve literacy and numeracy through the socialization of digital libraries at the UPTD SMAN 3 Majene. The method used is socialization with three stages, namely the preparation, implementation and evaluation stages. Participants consisted of 19 students and teachers. The evaluation instrument was a questionnaire on the success and satisfaction of partners filled out by the participants. The results of filling out the questionnaire showed a level of partner satisfaction of 89.61% and the ability to apply literacy and numeracy of 96.05%. This activity has proven effective in supporting the understanding of literacy and numeracy based on digital libraries.ABSTRAKKemajuan teknologi memberikan dampak yang cukup besar bagi transformasi perpustakaan dari perpustakaan tradisional ke digital. Perpustakaan digital merupakan sumber informasi edukatif yang menyediakan berbagai koleksi digital baik berupa buku, jurnal, artikel dan lain termasuk literasi dan numerasi.  Kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa di Indonesia saat ini masih sangat rendah dan siswa masih sangat jarang menggunakan teknologi sebagai media informasi untuk menyelesaikan masalah matematika. Oleh karena itu Prodi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Sulawesi Barat membentuk tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk meningkatkan literasi dan numerasi melalui sosialisasi perpustakaan digital di UPTD SMAN 3 Majene. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi dengan tiga tahapan yakni tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Peserta terdiri dari 19 orang siswa dan guru. instrument evaluasi berupa angket keberhasilan dan kepuasan mitra yang diisi oleh peserta. Hasil dari pengisian angket menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan mitra sebesar 89,61% dan kemampuan penerapan literasi dan numerasi sebesar 96,05%. Kegiatan ini terbukti efektif dalam mendukung pemahaman literasi dan numerasi berbasis pustaka digital.

Abstract

The development of technology in the era of society 5.0 requires education to produce human resources that are adaptive to technology. Mathematics as a fundamental science is still considered difficult and monotonous, thus requiring innovative learning strategies. This study aims to determine the effect of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model assisted by Wordwall on students’ motivation and mathematics learning outcomes in grade XI at SMA Negeri 1 Bambang in the era of society 5.0. This research employed a quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample consisted of an experimental class (XI Health Specialization, 23 students) and a control class (XI Informatics Specialization, 28 students). The research instruments used were a learning motivation questionnaire, a learning outcome test, and an observation sheet. Data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially using a t-test. The results showed a significant increase in the experimental class, where students’ learning motivation rose from 62.74 to 74.22 and learning outcomes improved from 45.04 to 72.30, while the control class showed minimal improvement. Hypothesis testing (sig. 0.000 < 0.05) confirmed that the TGT model assisted by Wordwall had a significant effect on students’ motivation and mathematics learning outcomes. Therefore, this model is proven effective in improving the quality of mathematics learning in the society 5.0 era.

Abstract

Lipa’ sa’be Mandar merupakan salah satu contoh identitas budaya masyarakat Mandar yang tidak lepas dari muatan konsep matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi lipa’ sa’be Mandar sebagai sumber belajar matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Data pada penelitian dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah kelompok ibu rumah tangga di Desa Gulung Talu Kec. Balanipa. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Eksplorasi lipa’ sa’be Mandar menunjukkan bahwa terdapat konsep matematika pada proses pembuatan dan corak lipa’ sa’be Mandar. Konsep matematika tersebut antara lain: konsep pengukuran, konsep garis singgung lingkaran, dan konsep himpunan. Lipa' sa'be Mandar is an example of the cultural identity of the Mandar people which cannot be separated from the content of mathematical concepts. This research was conducted to explore lipa’ sa’be Mandar as mathematics learning resources. This study is qualitative research with ethnographic approach. The data in this study were collected by observation, interview and documentation methods. The subjects in this study were community groups or housewives in Gulung Talu village, Balanipa distric. The data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and making conclusion. Exploration of lipa’ sa’be Mandar shows that there are mathematical concepts in manufacturing process and pattern of lipa’ sa’be Mandar. These mathematical concepts include: the concept of measurement, the concept of circle tangent line, and the concept of sets.
