Abstract

Background. Accuracy in serving contributes to an athlete's game consistency, making them more unpredictable for opponents. This not only affects the technical aspect but also the psychological one, as players with accurate serves are able to maintain mental pressure on the opponent, which can ultimately change the dynamics of the match. Objectives. This research evaluates service accuracy in beginner tennis athletes at PELTI Pangkep, an aspect often overlooked in sports literature. The research gap lies in the lack of studies concerning service accuracy, especially among beginner athletes. The research aims to measure tennis service accuracy. Methods. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with a survey design conducted on January 23, 2024, involving 20 beginner tennis athletes aged 10"“18 years at PELTI Pangkep, selected through purposive sampling. The instrument used was the Hewitt Test to evaluate serves, performed with 3 trials and 10 scored serves. The data was then analyzed descriptively to calculate the mean, standard deviation, and distribution of the test results. Results. The results show that 1 athlete or 5% were in the high category, 5 athletes or 25% in the medium category, 4 athletes or 20% in the low category, and 10 athletes or 50% in the very low category, with an average score of 27.85. Conclusion. The conclusion of this research indicates that the service accuracy of beginner tennis athletes at PELTI Pangkep is still low, with most athletes in the very low category. This research contributes to the development of more effective training methods for beginner athletes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the communication network built by the Aisyiyah organization in the prevention of Tuberculosis (TB) in North Sumatra. Aisyiyah as Lembaga autonomy Muhammmadiyah who became one of the government fatners in the eradication of tuberculosis. Eradication of tuberculosis is something that must be done in breaking the chain of the spread of tuberculosis that is of concern to the world because the disease is very fast spreading and is the no. 2 deadly disease after HIV Aids. Transmission is through people infected with tuberculosis coughing and removing mycobacterium bacteria. The research methods used are descriptive through qualitative approaches. The informant in this study was the Head of Aisyiyah Region of North Sumatra, TB-HIV Care Aisyiyah Team of North Sumatra. Data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that the communication network built by Aisyiyah North Sumatra in the prevention of Tuberculosis by forming TB-HIV Care Aisyiyah.  Cadres as implementers who plunge into the community to the village level in helping to provide services in collaboration with puskesmas services. Cadres in carrying out this humanitarian task always put forward human values by not paying attention to race, religion, or ethnicity.  For cadres to be able to carry out tasks in the field are given debriefing that supports competence in the form of knowledge related to TB, effective communication and evaluation, and reporting, in addition, cadres in performing their duties are provided facilities such as jackets of pinaster marks, participant cards as TB cadres. . As for the reporting made by cadres so that sufferers, suspects more easily obtain drug services that can later be obtained from the nearest health center whose treatment is provided by the government for free. The recruitment of these cadres is usually done through Aisyiyah studies or can be done through other channels such as through social media, and in coordination with other organizations or associations such as the PKK Mother

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi pembelajaran berbasis keteramilan dan membuat model evaluasi yang baik di terapkan di Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat Generasi Amanah, Percut Sei Tuan Kabupaten Deli Serdang Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengembangkan model pembelajaran berbasis keterampilan lokal terintegrasi melalui kesejahteraan masyarakat miskin pada Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat Generasi Amanah. (2) mengetahui kelayakan model pembelajaran berbasis pemberdayaan terintegrasi kesejahteraan masyarakat miskin pada Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat Generasi Amanah, dan (3) mengembangkan kemampuan Kewirausahaan lulusan Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat Generasi Amanah melalui pembelajaran berbasis keterampilan lokal terintegrasi kesejahteraan masyarakat miskin. Prosedur pengembangan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan desain Borg & Gall (research and information collecting, develop preliminary form of product, main field testing, final product revision). Validasi produk dilakukan oleh dua (2) dosen ahli Pendidikan Masyarakat dan satu dosen ahli Pembangunan Masyarakat satu (1) ahli Kesehatan Masyarakat. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah pengurus yayasan dan Fasilitator serta peserta didik/siswa Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat Generasi Amanah. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian melalui observasi, angket, dan tes tertulis. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effectiveness of the Montessori method in addressing beginning reading difficulties among first-grade students at UPT SPF SD Negeri Bawakaraeng I, Makassar City, utilizing a quantitative approach with a pre xperimental research, specifically One Group Pretest-Postest Design, involving 80 students subject. Data were collected via a beginning reading ability test and and observation sheets and analyzed by using descriptive statistic and the nonparametric Wilcoxon signed-rank test to assess the significance of effectiveness. The findings indicates a clear increase in the mean score for beginning reading ability, rising from 59,80 in the pretest to 72,26 in the posttest. The implementation of the Montessori method also improved to the very good category. Furthermore, the inferential statistical analysis yielded a p-value of <0,001(less than α=0,05), demonstrating a significant difference in students’ beginning reading ability post-intervention. The study conclude that the Montessori method is effective in improving beginning reading ability and overcoming reading difficulties.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi karakteristik media pembelajaran matematika berbasis hypermedia yang dapat diandalkan, serta untuk menganalisis pandangan peserta didik, praktisi, dan guru terhadap media tersebut. Dengan menggunakan model pengembangan Hannafi dan Peck, penelitian ini melibatkan serangkaian tahapan mulai dari analisis kebutuhan hingga pengembangan akhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran matematika berbasis hypermedia dirancang sebagai model presentasi yang memfasilitasi guru dalam menyampaikan materi dan sebagai sumber belajar yang mandiri bagi siswa. Respons peserta didik terhadap penerapan media ini sangat positif, menganggapnya efektif dan efisien dalam penggunaan serta pembuatan konten pembelajaran. Setiap antarmuka media dilengkapi dengan fitur navigasi, hyperlink, dan fasilitas lainnya yang memudahkan pengguna dalam menjelajahi materi. Peserta didik menunjukkan kemampuan untuk dengan lancar menggunakan semua fitur yang disediakan, menunjukkan minat terhadap tampilan visualnya, menikmati proses belajar dengan bantuan media tersebut, dan mampu memahami materi pelajaran dengan lebih mudah. Penelitian ini menyoroti peran penting media pembelajaran matematika berbasis hypermedia dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan pemahaman konsep matematika. Respons positif yang diterima dari peserta didik dan praktisi menunjukkan potensi besar dari penggunaan media ini dalam konteks pendidikan matematika yang lebih efektif dan menarik.Kata Kunci: Metode Orff Schulwerk, Pembelajaran Musik Inovatif
