Abstract

Dalam penelitian berbasis studi literatur ini menghasilkan suatu temuan mengenai fenomena masuknya budaya asing akibat adanya pengaruh globalisasi dan Pancasila adalah sebagai filter dari masuknya budaya asing tersebut. Penerrapan nilai-nilai Pancasila perlu dimulai sejak dalam lingkungan rumah, sekolah, maupun masyarakat. Oleh karena itu pentingnya peneraapan nilai-nilai Pancasila sebagai tolak ukur pencapaian nilai, etika, moral serta sikap dalam perilaku sehari-hari. Jadi dengan adanya penerapan nilai-nilai Pancasila ini diharapkan peserta didik dapat mengaplikasikan dan mengimplementasikan dalam proses pembelajaran seperti dengan melakukan hal-hal sederhana contoh berdoa sebelum memulai pelajaran, mentaati peraturan dan tata tertib sekolah, rukun berteman dengan mengedepankan sikap toleransi, aktif dan partisipatif dalam diskusi guna menyampaikan pendapat, berperilaku adil tidak membeda-bedakan. Tetap mengedepankan semboyan Bhineka Tunggal Ika. Demikian halnya dengan penerapan nilai-nilai dasar Pancasila dalam mata pelajaran PPKn di lembaga pendidikan sekolah yang memerlukan koordinasi anta pendidik dan peserta didik agar tercapai proses pembelajaran PPKn yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara yang kaya akan keragaman suku, budaya, agama, dan ras. Keberagaman ini menjadi kekuatan sekaligus tantangan dalam menciptakan masyarakat yang harmonis dan damai. Pendidikan multikultural memegang peranan penting dalam mengajarkan penghargaan terhadap perbedaan dan menanamkan nilai-nilai toleransi serta saling menghormati satu sama lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi strategi pengembangan pendidikan multikultural di Indonesia. Melalui studi literatur dan analisis mendalam, ditemukan empat strategi utama yang dapat diterapkan, yaitu merevisi kurikulum dengan memasukkan muatan multikultural, meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam memahami dan mengajarkan nilai-nilai multikultural, menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang inklusif dan menghargai perbedaan, serta melibatkan masyarakat dan keluarga dalam penerapan pendidikan multikultural. Meskipun terdapat tantangan seperti adanya prasangka dan diskriminasi dalam masyarakat serta kurangnya pemahaman tentang pentingnya pendidikan multikultural, strategi yang tepat dan dukungan dari semua pihak dapat membantu mengembangkan pendidikan multikultural di Indonesia dan menjadikannya pondasi bagi terciptanya masyarakat yang saling menghargai dan hidup rukun dalam keragaman.

Abstract

This article discusses the use of sign language in the customary communication and law of the Korowai tribe in Papua, Indonesia. The Korowai tribe possesses a unique culture that has existed for hundreds of years. This research shows that sign language reflects their cultural and legal values, being used in various social situations, from family gatherings to legal decision-making processes. Sign language is considered more polite in certain contexts and helps strengthen relationships among tribe members. The journal also examines how sign language plays a role in preserving traditions and understanding customary values, ensuring the safety and harmony of the community. These findings are expected to enrich anthropological and linguistic studies, as well as enhance understanding of the cultural diversity of indigenous peoples in Indonesia and around the world.

Abstract

The Madura tribe is one of the major ethnicities in Indonesia that has a rich socio-cultural heritage with its own characteristics, ranging from the tradition of cow karapan and sonok cows, to strong values of solidarity and religiosity. However, the development of globalization poses challenges to the preservation of this culture, such as shifting the meaning of traditions, weakening social solidarity, and reduced use of the Madurese language among the younger generation. This research aims to analyze the socio-social and cultural values of the Madura people and examine how they adapt in the era of globalization. This research uses a literature study method by examining various sources in the form of books, articles, and scientific journals that are relevant about the socio-culture of the Madura people. The analysis is carried out by emphasizing aspects of social characteristics, cultural traditions, and challenges faced in the modern era. The results of the study show that although Madura culture faces serious threats due to modernization and negative stereotypes, noble values such as self-respect, mutual cooperation, and religiosity remain a strong foundation. Cultural preservation needs to be directed at innovation and digitalization to remain relevant in the future.

Abstract

Due to Indonesia's diversity, the values of Pancasila foster a harmonious and respectful environment. Therefore, Pancasila education plays a crucial role in fostering tolerance and harmony among students in schools. This article uses a library research method to collect data. The data sources used include books, articles, literature, and documents related to Pancasila education and efforts to improve tolerance and harmony among students in schools. The results of this study indicate that teachers play a crucial role in instilling values of tolerance in the school environment for students. The values contained in Pancasila education are also highly relevant. However, due to Indonesia's diversity, teachers face challenges in fostering an attitude of tolerance in the school environment.ABSTRAKKarena keragaman Indonesia, nilai-nilai Pancasila membangun lingkungan yang harmonis dan saling menghargai. Sehingga pendidikan Pancasila mempunyai peran krusial dalam membangun toleransi serta kerukunan peserta didik di sekolah. artikel ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka untuk mengumpulkan data. Sumber data yang digunakan termasuk buku, artikel, literatur, dan dokumen yang berkaitan dengan pendidikan pancasila dan upaya untuk meningkatkan toleransi dan kerukunan antar peserta didik di sekolah. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran guru sangat penting dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai toleransi di lingkungan sekolah bagi peserta didik. Nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam pendidikan pancasila juga sangat relevan. Namun karena keberagaman yang ada di Indonesia, guru menghadapi tantangan untuk membangun sikap toleransi di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Improving student learning outcomes is a primary goal in the context of education. Effective teaching methods can be key to achieving these goals. One method that can be applied is the demonstration method. The purpose of this study was to explore the application of the demonstration method and its impact on student learning outcomes. The demonstration method is a teaching strategy that involves the use of direct examples, modeling, or practical displays of concepts or skills being taught. In this study, the demonstration method was applied in a classroom environment to facilitate student understanding and improve their learning outcomes. This study used a classroom action research (CAR) approach that should involve teachers and students in the research process. However, here this study only involved teachers, because students had already taken the Final Semester Exam. Data were collected through observation and interviews with PPKN subject teachers. The results showed that the application of the demonstration method had a positive impact on student learning outcomes. The application of the demonstration method allows students to see and experience the concepts or skills being taught directly. This allows students to develop a better understanding and strengthen their skills through observation and active participation.

Abstract

The era of globalization presents significant challenges for Islamic educational institutions, particularly traditional Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), which must balance the preservation of Islamic values with adaptation to global demands. This study aims to analyze the leadership strategies employed by Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Gontor in facing the global era while maintaining its Islamic identity and educational quality. The research employed a qualitative methodology with a phenomenological research design, conducted as a field study at the modern Islamic boarding school of Darussalam Gontor in Ponorogo, East Java. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with 15 key informants including the leadership board, senior teachers (ustadz), and alumni, supplemented by participant observation and document analysis over a six-month period from January to June 2024. The findings reveal that Gontor implements a multi-dimensional leadership strategy encompassing five key areas: curriculum integration that combines traditional Islamic studies with modern sciences at a 60:40 ratio, technological adaptation through digital learning platforms used by 95% of students, international networking with 127 affiliated institutions across 18 countries, alumni empowerment programs reaching over 80,000 graduates worldwide, and sustainable institutional development with annual growth rates of 8-12% in student enrollment. The leadership adopts a transformational approach that emphasizes vision alignment, cultural preservation, and adaptive innovation. The study concludes that Gontor's success in navigating globalization stems from its ability to maintain core Islamic values while embracing selective modernization, creating a unique educational model that produces globally competitive graduates who remain firmly rooted in Islamic principles and Indonesian cultural identity.
