Abstract

Advances in information technology, particularly in data mining and machine learning, offer opportunities to increase the efficiency of nursing home management. This research aims to analyze the pattern of the number of children in nursing homes using the C4.5 algorithm, providing insight for managers to design more effective programs. The data used in this research is secondary data from the UPTD population list for Elderly Social Services for the period January to September 2024. Using RapidMiner software, a decision tree model was built to group the population based on the number of children. The analysis revealed five categories of citizens: no children, one child, two children, three children, and five children. The largest number of residents (285 people) have no children, followed by residents who have one child (63 people), three children (45 people), two children (9 people), and five children (8 people). These findings indicate that residents who do not have children are more likely to choose to live in nursing homes. This study provides a basis for increasing interaction between residents and their families, especially for those who do not have children. Further research with larger samples is needed to explore other factors influencing nursing home residents' decisions.

Abstract

In the digital era, financial transactions are increasingly dependent on information technology, particularly through the use of QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) developed by Bank Indonesia. This study aims to design a QRIS management application that facilitates business owners in efficiently managing various QR codes. The prototype method is used to describe the system to be developed, including QRIS data management, dynamic QR code generation, and structured database design. The design results show that this application can address issues related to cluttered displays caused by the use of multiple QRIS stickers, simplify the transaction process for consumers, and enhance the professionalism of merchants. Therefore, this application design is expected to contribute significantly to the efficiency of digital transactions and lay the groundwork for the development of more advanced applications in the future.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the graduation rates of students at SMK Negeri 1 Stabat in the general subjects group using the C4.5 algorithm. Secondary data covering 717 students was collected and underwent a preprocessing stage to ensure accuracy. The modeling results indicate that the average score threshold for graduation is 73.823; of the 717 students, 709 are declared graduated and 8 did not pass. The use of the C4.5 algorithm has proven effective in providing insights into student graduation as well as generating decision tree visualizations that clarify the decision-making process. This study emphasizes the importance of applying data mining technology in education to enhance understanding of student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to design a website-based Digital Library Information System for SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Pura to improve the management and accessibility of learning resources for students and faculty. The current library system at the school is still manual, which limits the efficiency and effectiveness of accessing books, articles, and other educational materials. The proposed system is designed to provide a user-friendly interface for searching, borrowing, and managing digital library resources. Using web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, the system integrates a database to store and retrieve information on available resources. This system is expected to enhance the library’s services by enabling online access to resources, improving the efficiency of administrative tasks, and supporting a more effective learning environment. The system's design considers usability, security, and scalability to ensure its long-term viability and relevance in the educational context of SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Pura.

Abstract

PT Pelabuhan Indonesia I or often called Pelindo I is one of the State-Owned Enterprises of Indonesia engaged in the port services sector. The student internship acceptance system at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia Persero 1 Belawan Branch still uses a manual acceptance system and students must come directly to the location to apply for an internship. So that there are often obstacles experienced by students because most likely the company is not currently opening internship acceptance or if the company has run out of quota to accept internships because the quota has been fulfilled. Following up on the problems that occurred, a design for an intern acceptance information system was created. With the hope that this intern acceptance information system can solve existing problems. So that the acceptance of interns can be done easily without having to come directly to the company. This system is made using the PHP programming language which is website-based

Abstract

Mangrove forest conservation requires effective volunteer management and technological support. This study developed the Roveteer application, a specialized digital platform designed to optimize volunteer coordination and engagement in mangrove conservation efforts at Kota Pari Village. The research employed a user-centered design approach, integrating technological innovation with local ecological conservation needs. Through systematic analysis of volunteer management challenges, the application was developed to streamline recruitment, task allocation, tracking, and impact assessment of conservation activities. The Roveteer platform features include real-time volunteer registration, activity scheduling, performance monitoring, and geographical mapping of conservation zones. Prototype testing demonstrated the application's potential to enhance volunteer participation, improve communication efficiency, and provide data-driven insights into conservation efforts. Results indicated a 35% improvement in volunteer coordination and a 40% increase in documented conservation activities compared to traditional management methods. The Roveteer application represents a significant technological innovation in local environmental preservation, offering a replicable model for community-driven conservation technology that can be adapted to similar ecological contexts.

Abstract

Kota Pari Village has a strategic coastal area but faces the challenge of degradation of mangrove ecosystems. Kota pari Village has the potential for mangrove forests that can be used as tourist attractions in coastal areas. This research aims to design a Geographic Information System (GIS) to support appropriate and sustainable mangrove planting planning. The research method uses a quantitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through field observation, interviews, and spatial analysis. The research stages include collecting geographic data, mapping ecosystem conditions, analyzing land characteristics, and identifying potential zones for mangrove planting. The Geographic Information System is developed using Web-based software by considering parameters such as topography, soil type, salinity, and abrasion rate. The results of the study show that GIS has successfully identified 15 potential zones for mangrove planting with different levels of land suitability. This system is able to provide recommendations for planting locations, appropriate types of mangroves, and appropriate conservation strategies. This research makes a significant contribution to supporting mangrove ecosystem restoration efforts, sustainable development planning, and coastal area management in Kota Pari Village.
