Abstract

Observation Report Text is a text that contains a general description or reports something from observations. This studty was motivated by the low value of writing observation report text in junior high school students, this is caused by the lack of student interest in participating in learning caused by the inappropriate learning model so that student find it difficult to concentrate on learning. Based on this, the problem in this study is whether there is an Effect of the Project Based Learning Model on the Literacy Of Writing Observation Report Texts. The purpose of this study was to determine and describe the Project Based Learning Model on the Literacy of Writing Observation Report Text. The method used in this study was a quantitative experiment. The resuts of this study indicate that the Project Based Learning model is effective in improving the literacy of writing observation report texts in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 5 Penukal Utara. Therefore, the Project Based Learning model can be applied in learning Indonesian.

Abstract

The problem of this research is how to use songket cloth waste and typical South Sumatra jumputan as a media for entrepreneurship learning. The purpose of this research is to find out motivation and to foster an entrepreneurial spirit in students, in the use of Songket and Jumputan cloth waste typical of South Sumatra as Entrepreneurship Learning Media for Semeter IV students at PGRI Palembang University for the 2019/2020 Academic Year. Descriptive research method, this method is carried out in various steps, namely from planning, processing, marketing, evaluation to plow up. The results of the research on the use of songket and jumputan fabric waste as a medium for learning entrepreneurship, showed that there was motivation and the growth of an entrepreneurial spirit in students, it was seen from the average response of students to the questionnaire that was given was classified as very high, which was 79.44%. Based on the student question indicator which consists of 5 indicators; designing products for 79.36% in the very high category. The indicator for processing products is 77.49%, the indicator for marketing the product is 78.67%, the indicator for developing a product is 79.87% and the indicator for preserving, maintaining the product or enthusiasm is 81.82% in the very high category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pergeseran bahasa Bali di Desa Sidoharjo Kecamatan Air Salek Kabupaten Banyuasin dengan menggunakan kajian dialektologi sosial. Pergeseran bahasa terjadi akibat adanya kontak bahasa antara masyarakat Bali dengan masyarakat dari berbagai etnis yang tinggal di desa tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan dialektologi sosial. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui teknik wawancara, rekam, dan cakap terhadap 14 informan yang dipilih berdasarkan kriteria usia, tingkat pendidikan, kelas sosial (pekerjaan), dan jenis kelamin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan bahasa Bali di Desa Sidoharjo mengalami penurunan, terutama pada generasi muda. Kelompok usia lanjut masih menggunakan bahasa Bali secara aktif dalam komunikasi sehari-hari, sedangkan anak-anak dan remaja lebih dominan menggunakan bahasa Indonesia. Dari segi ranah penggunaan, bahasa Bali mengalami penyempitan fungsi dan lebih banyak digunakan dalam kegiatan keagamaan serta adat, sementara dalam ranah pendidikan, pekerjaan, dan interaksi sosial lintas etnis bahasa Indonesia lebih dominan digunakan. Pergeseran bahasa ini dipengaruhi oleh faktor sosial seperti pendidikan, pekerjaan, interaksi antaretnis, serta dominasi bahasa Indonesia sebagai bahasa komunikasi utama di masyarakat multietnis. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya pelestarian bahasa Bali agar tetap terjaga sebagai bagian dari identitas budaya masyarakat Bali di Desa Sidoharjo.

Abstract

Innovation in learning, particularly in the development of instructional media for prose fiction, plays a critical role in enhancing the quality of the learning process. However, many educators still face challenges in utilizing technology due to limited knowledge and skills in creating digital-based learning media. This study aims to develop Student Worksheets (LKPD) integrated with augmented reality (AR) for teaching prose fiction (fantasy stories) at SMP Negeri 21 Palembang. The research adopts a development approach using the ADDIE model, which includes five stages: 1) Analyze, 2) Design, 3) Develop, 4) Implementation, and 5) Evaluation. The findings of the study highlight that the design of LKPD assisted by Augmented Reality emphasizes the use of technology in learning activities, thereby increasing student engagement and understanding of prose fiction material. The use of AR offers a more interactive and engaging learning experience, aligning with the demands of the digital era 4.0. Results from pretest and posttest assessments indicate a significant improvement in both critical thinking skills and language proficiency, particularly in the comprehension of prose fiction. In conclusion, the LKPD based on Augmented Reality is deemed feasible, practical, and effective in enhancing the critical thinking and language proficiency of grade VII students at SMP Negeri 21 Palembang in prose fiction learning. This media is recommended for further development and broader application in educational activities to support the improvement of education quality.
