Abstract

ABSTRACT The curriculum changes significantly impact the development of education, with teacher performance being a crucial factor. This research examines the influence of Teacher Working Groups (KKG) programs and academic supervision on the performance of Elementary School teachers in the Pangeran Antasari cluster, Landasan Ulin, Banjarbaru. The study findings reveal that the KKG program has a positive and significant impact (54.6%) on teacher performance, particularly in development, skills, attitudes, and the performance of KKG members. Additionally, academic supervision also exerts a positive and significant influence (57.4%), especially in the implementation of supervision. Furthermore, when the KKG program and academic supervision are enhanced together, they have a highly significant impact (p = 0.000) on improving the performance of Elementary School teachers. These findings indicate that the enhancement of both KKG programs and academic supervision can substantially enhance teacher performance. KKG functions as a platform for development through teacher study groups, while academic supervision assists in improving teaching abilities, especially in the aspect of supervision implementation. This research provides crucial insights for elementary education development, emphasizing the vital role of KKG programs and academic supervision in enhancing educational quality. ABSTRAK Perubahan kurikulum telah signifikan memengaruhi perkembangan pendidikan, dengan kinerja guru menjadi faktor kunci. Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh program Kelompok Kerja Guru (KKG) dan supervisi akademik terhadap kinerja guru Sekolah Dasar di Gugus Pangeran Antasari, Landasan Ulin, Banjarbaru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program KKG memiliki dampak positif dan signifikan (54,6%) terhadap kinerja guru, terutama dalam pengembangan, keterampilan, sikap, dan kinerja anggota KKG. Sementara itu, supervisi akademik juga memberikan pengaruh positif dan signifikan (57,4%), khususnya pada aspek pelaksanaan supervisi. Lebih jauh, ketika program KKG dan supervisi akademik ditingkatkan bersama-sama, mereka memiliki pengaruh yang sangat signifikan (p = 0,000) terhadap peningkatan kinerja guru Sekolah Dasar. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan program KKG dan supervisi akademik dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru secara substansial. KKG berperan sebagai platform pengembangan melalui kelompok belajar guru, sementara supervisi akademik membantu meningkatkan kemampuan keguruannya, terutama melalui aspek pelaksanaan supervisi. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan penting bagi pengembangan pendidikan di tingkat dasar dengan menekankan peran penting program KKG dan supervisi akademik dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan.

Abstract

This study examines the role of financial literacy and pocket money on students' financial management behavior, with financial self-efficacy as an intervening variable. The phenomenon of increasing student consumer behavior is the main background of this study. Using a quantitative explanatory approach with SEM-PLS analysis on 130 active students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Makassar State University, the results show that financial literacy and pocket money have a positive effect on financial self-efficacy, and financial self-efficacy has a significant effect on financial management behavior. However, financial literacy does not have a direct effect without the mediation of financial self-efficacy. This means that the higher the financial literacy and pocket money accompanied by self-confidence in managing finances, the better the students' financial behavior in planning and controlling expenses wisely.

Abstract

Isu kesehatan mental semakin mendapatkan sorotan di media sosial, terutama di Twitter, dan hal ini berdampak signifikan pada persepsi publik serta kebijakan kesehatan. Dalam era digital ini, persepsi masyarakat terhadap isu kesehatan mental yang diungkapkan melalui media sosial menjadi sangat penting untuk dianalisis. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sentimen tweet yang berkaitan dengan kesehatan mental dengan menggunakan dua metode klasifikasi yang umum dalam pembelajaran mesin, yaitu Naïve Bayes Classifier dan K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN). Proses analisis dilakukan dalam dua tahap: pertama, labelling otomatis yang menghasilkan komposisi 62.5% tweet positif, 19.64% negatif, dan 17.86% netral; kedua, verifikasi manual yang menunjukkan perubahan komposisi sentimen, dengan hasil 67.56% tweet positif, 24.4% netral, dan 8.04% negatif. Dataset penelitian ini terdiri dari 336 tweet yang dikumpulkan selama periode 26 Maret hingga 31 Maret 2024. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa algoritma KNN memiliki akurasi sebesar 88.24% dalam mengklasifikasikan sentimen positif, sementara Naïve Bayes mencapai akurasi sebesar 60.78%. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting pada pengembangan metode analisis sentimen yang lebih akurat dan dapat digunakan untuk merancang intervensi kesehatan yang lebih tepat serta responsif terhadap persepsi masyarakat terkait kesehatan mental di media sosial. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu dalam menyusun strategi yang lebih efektif dalam menanggapi isu-isu kesehatan mental yang berkembang di masyarakat.

Abstract

Differentiated learning is a teaching and learning process tailored to the unique characteristics of each student. The main challenge in implementing differentiated learning lies in teachers’ difficulty in understanding the varying levels of students’ comprehension, particularly in informatics subjects. This study aims to compare the K-means, Fuzzy C-means, and Hierarchical Clustering algorithms in grouping students based on academic performance, using daily scores, knowledge, and skill scores of grade X students at SMK Citra Nusantara. The contribution of this research is the application of weighting on the parameters used to improve clustering results. The assigned weights are 0.2 for daily scores, 0.4 for knowledge, and 0.4 for skills when using three parameters, giving a smaller weight to daily scores. If only two parameters are used, the weighting is adjusted so that the total weight equals 1. The evaluation metrics applied are the Silhouette Index, Calinski-Harabasz Index, and Davies-Bouldin Index. The results show that the K-means method outperforms Fuzzy C-means and Hierarchical Clustering. The Silhouette Index is considered the most ideal because it evaluates two aspects simultaneously: cohesion (compactness within clusters) and separation (distinctness between clusters). However, a combination of the Silhouette Index, Davies-Bouldin Index, and Calinski-Harabasz Index is still required to achieve optimal results. The testing results for K-means, evaluated using the Silhouette Index, Davies-Bouldin Index, and Calinski-Harabasz Index, respectively, are 0.350125, 0.822452, and 1157.806. The best clustering outcome with two clusters categorized students into “very good” and “good” groups.

Abstract

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES KSU Jaya Bersatu in Guhung Village distributes loans to independent oil palm farmers, but in the last three years, there have been stagnant bad loans to 36 debtors worth Rp574 million, even though the number of credit recipients has increased. This condition shows serious problems that risk disrupting the sustainability of cooperatives, so research needs to be conducted to examine socio-economic factors that affect the smooth payment and provide a more appropriate basis for loan policies. METHODS The study uses a descriptive quantitative approach with binary logistic regression analysis. The respondents amounted to 95 independent oil palm farmers who were selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and interviews, then analyzed by the HosmerLemeshow test, Pseudo R² value, Wald test, and odds ratio.  FINDINGS The results of the study showed that the value of the loan, education, number of dependents, and business experience had a significant effect on the smooth flow of credit, while income and land area had no real effect. Farmers with higher education, fewer dependents, and longer business experience tend to settle credit more smoothly.   CONCLUSION Cooperatives need to be more selective in determining the amount of loans and considering the educational background and business experience of members. Financial education needs to be improved, and loan limits should be adjusted to the ability to pay to reduce the risk of bad credit.

Abstract

Abstrak. Program REMAJA BISMART dilaksanakan di SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Semarang untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan gizi dan kesadaran pentingnya gizi seimbang pada remaja. Kegiatan meliputi pengukuran antropometri, senam, edukasi gizi, dan permainan NutriDart. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan perbandingan nilai pre test-post test. Penilaian pre test-post test pengetahuan siswa didapatkan setelah pemberian edukasi gizi seimbang dan permainan edukatif NutriDart. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata nilai pengetahuan siswa dari 53,57% menjadi 97,86%. Siswa juga menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dalam mengikuti kegiatan. Program ini efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan dan perilaku gizi seimbang pada remaja.

Abstract

Background This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of environmental governance in handling forest and land fires (karhutla) in Banjarbaru City, South Kalimantan, during the 2023–2024 period. Forest and land fires in Banjarbaru continue to occur repeatedly despite the local government forming a task force, implementing hotspot monitoring technology, and implementing various mitigation policies. Methods This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through analysis of policy documents, official government reports, hotspot data from relevant agencies, and relevant scientific literature. Data analysis was conducted thematically through the stages of data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Results The results of the study indicate that environmental governance in handling forest and land fires in Banjarbaru has not been optimal due to institutional fragmentation, weak coordination between actors, limited budget and resource capacity, and low community participation in prevention efforts. In addition, supervision of peatland conversion remains weak, thereby increasing vulnerability to fires. Conclusions This study concludes that strengthening inter-agency coordination, increasing institutional capacity, ensuring transparency of fire information, and adopting a community-based prevention approach are necessary to achieve more effective and sustainable forest and land fire governance.

Abstract

Latar belakang : Otonomi daerah memberikan kekuasaan lebih kepada pemerintah lokal untuk secara mandiri mengatur dan mengelola sumber daya serta keuangan mereka. Keberhasilan otonomi daerah dapat dinilai melalui kinerja keuangan pemerintah daerah dalam mengelola anggaran, meningkatkan pendapatan, dan mengoptimalkan pengeluaran publik. Metode penelitian: Studi ini menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode asosiatif kausal, yaitu penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menguji dampak variabel independen (PAD, Dana Perimbangan, dan Belanja Modal) terhadap variabel dependen (Kinerja Keuangan Pemerintah Daerah). Studi ini menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode asosiatif kausal, yaitu penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menguji dampak variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen. Hasil penelitian: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Belanja Modal berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan Pemerintah Kota Binjai. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa setiap peningkatan alokasi belanja untuk aset tetap (seperti infrastruktur, jalan, dan jembatan) secara langsung meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan publik yang menjadi indikator keberhasilan kinerja keuangan. Kesimpulan: Pada kasus Pemerintah Kota Binjai, kinerja keuangan lebih ditentukan oleh seberapa besar komitmen pemerintah dalam mengalokasikan anggaran untuk investasi fisik (Belanja Modal) daripada sekadar jumlah pendapatan yang diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kualitas belanja (spending better) lebih berpengaruh daripada kuantitas penerimaan dalam membentuk performa keuangan daerah.

Abstract

Pada masa pubertas atau masa menjelang dewasa, remaja mengalami banyak pengaruh dari luar yang menyebabkan remaja terbawa pengaruh oleh lingkungan sekitar seperti bermain game online. Remaja yang memiliki intensitas tinggi dalam bermain game online memungkinkan memicu timbulnya motivasi belajar yang menurun. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan kecanduan bermain game online dengan motivasi belajar remaja di Sekolah Menengah Atas Aceh Besar. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deksriptif korelasi dengan desain penelitian cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X dan XI di SMA Negeri Aceh Besar dan sampel penelitian berjumlah 127 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner Game Addiction Scale for Adolescent (GASA) dan Motivasi Belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas responden dengan kecanduan bermain game online sedang sebanyak 67 responden (52,8%) dan mayoritas motivasi belajar rendah sebanyak 94 responden (74,0%). Sehingga memiliki hubungan kecanduan bermain game online terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di Sekolah Menengah Atas Aceh Besar yang ditunjukkan dari nilai p value (0,000) < α (0,05). Maka dari itu diharapkan siswa bisa memanfaatkan dan mengatur waktu dengan baik antara waktu untuk bermain game dengan waktu belajar.

Abstract

Adolescence is a period that is particularly vulnerable to mental health issues due to hormonal, physical, and psychosocial changes. If not properly managed, these changes and challenges may trigger emotional and mental health disorders among adolescents. One strategy to prevent or reduce the risk of mental health problems is engaging in regular physical activity. This study aimed to examine the relationship between physical activity and mental health among adolescents in senior high schools in Banda Aceh. This research employed a descriptive correlational method with a cross-sectional study design. The population consisted of all tenth-grade students at Senior High School 9 Banda Aceh, with a total sample of 154 students. Data were collected using the Physical Activity Questionnaire for Adolescents (PAQ-A) and the Mental Health Continuum-Short Form (MHC-SF). Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test. The results showed a significant relationship between physical activity and adolescent mental health, with a p-value = 0.000. It is recommended that adolescents engage more actively in physical activities to maintain their mental well-being. In addition, support from parents and schools in providing environments that encourage physical activity is essential to promote adolescent mental health.
